Call to Disobedience
The Zeitgeist ones want a lobby for the adulterous. On the contrary the adulterers don't have any interest in this lobby.
(kreuz.net, Linz) Yesterday the dissident assocation "Pfarrer-Initiative' held their General Convocation.
This was reported by the anti-Church newspaper 'Der Standard' today.
Most Stayed at Home
At the General Convocation which took place on Sunday of all things, so only a fifth of the five hundred charter members of the group showed up.
Those present decided to expand the board from eleven to eighteen members.
At a press conference they announced the Zeitgeist concerns yesterday evening, that they intend to hold in disobedience.
They denounced the idea that this is "out of fun and games" -- rather allegedly out of "love of people".
Vienna's Cardinal Pays for His Inactivity
The head of the wheechair reform, Fr. Helmut Schüller wants next to agitate the Parish Council.
They are rebelling against the planned destruction of Vienna's parish structure.
Fr. Schüller expects to organize a meeting for next spring for that reason.
Gentrify the Church
The anti-Church newspaper 'Die Presse' reports that the Disobedience Initiative will stop talking about the laity.
They have invented the term of "Kirchenburger" (Church Citizen).
Additionally the wheel chair reformers want to demand women's ordination in contradiction to the Gospel.
Talk up Adultery
They want to define adultery as a "second marriage".
The same immoral conception must also apply for a third or a fourth marriage and function for bigamy too.
In any case Fr. Schüller wants to "lobby" for adulterers.
The problem: adulterers don't have any interest in the Church.

Uruguayan Bishops Consider Excommunication After Abortion Ruling

The Senate of Uruguay passed a controversial abortion law on Wednesday. Uruguay is, like Cuba and Guyana the third country in Latin America, which has legalized the termination of pregnancy in the first twelve weeks. 17 of 31 Senate members voted for the new ruling. The decision was accompanied in the last weeks with a heated social debate.
The Bishops' Conference of the country spoke against the legal initiative of the governing left-leaning Party Frente Amplio. A statement of the capital Archdiocese of Montevideo spoke of a "sad day for Uruguay" on Thursday.

Summorum Pontificum: A Source of Priests and Religious Vocations -- Interview With Abbé Claude Barthe
(Rome) From the 1st to the 3rd of November the first great international pilgrimage of Tradition since the promulgation of the Motu Proprio Summorum Pontificum to Rome will take place. The pastoral assistant of the pilgrimage is the French priest, Abbé Claude Barthe. During the International Pilgrimage the Immemorial Mass of All Ages will be celebrated by three high dignitaries of the Roman Curia, Antonio Cardinal Canizares Llovera, Walter Cardinal Brandmueller and Curial Bishop Giuseppe Sciacca, the General Secretary of the Governorate of Vatican City. The Pontifical High Mass at the conclusion of the Pilgrimage in the St. Peter's Basilica will be celebrated by Cardinal Canizares.
Abbé Barthe who is one of the driving forces for the execution of the Una cum Papa Nostro Pilgrimage and gave Alberto Carosa of Vatican Insider the following interview.
Abbé, there are requests of your person from several sides. Would give us a brief resume of your education and vocational path?
I was born in Fleurance in 1947 in south western France. My priestly vocation went back to my Catholic childhood. I studied at the Catholic Institute of Toulouse as a Diocesan seminarian. The post-Concliar Revolution forced me therefore to leave the seminary. I then received a degree in History and Jurisprudence. I felt so bound tot he traditional liturgy, that I entered into the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X in Econe. In 1970 I was ordained a priest by Archbishop Lefebvre. I belonged then to the "hard" wing of the Traditionalists, but I became increasingly Roman and finally a diocesan priest. Today I am an instructor in the subject of Liturgy in a seminary of Tradition. One could also say that I am a "published priest" because of my numerous, perhaps too numerous books and articles.
How did this idea of a pilgrimage of Tradition take place and how were you selected as the pastoral assistant?
The idea of a pilgrimage and for a Traditional Mass in St. Peter's Basilica for the "People of Summorum Pontificum", as well as the diocesean and also the communities, along with the SSPX, has been in existence for about a year in the so-called Roman circles of the "Reform of the Reform", who really see in the extraordinary form of the Roman Rite, a supporting pillar for true Liturgical renewal. Because of the very diverse roles of a Pastoral Assistant they probably thought of me, because I was seen as a party follower who sees "unity in all living powers", a kind manner of border runner between all directions of Tradition.
On the 10th of September you held a press conference, which announced the Pilgrimage. Could you tie together some of the central aspects?
In the first line I wanted to establish that it would be a pilgrimage of thanksgiving. The pilgrims will offer above all a thanksgiving Mass in the extraordinary form and and as support for the Holy Father on the 5th Anniversary of the promulgation of the Motu proprio Summorum Pontificum, which is generally known to have come into power on September 14th, 2007. For many diocesan -- and religious priests who offer their daily sacrifice of the Mass in the extraordinary form, it acted like a spiritual victory, even for the faithful who -- still sadly too few -- parishes, who could feel joy at this Liturgy and its mysticism. One can say that in this decision by Benedict XVI. an entire Summorum Pontificum-people was created. This people will thank him for this.
And how about the other aspects?
I must say that it also will act as a recognition of loyalty to Peter. The second reason is to announce our love for the Church and our loyalty to Peter, just as and especially in this current time of a bitter and difficult situation. We are full conscious that the efforts, which the Pope has confronted has been difficult. The Traditional Roman Mass, especially the High Mass, will always be a wonderful sign of faith of the Church as Mater et Magistra: it is this Liturgical recognition which we bring to expression at the tomb of the Apostle, for the successor of Peter. It will be a gift and a plea. We will especially offer a gift to God, to ask him for graces for the reigning Pope, in order for him to continue his wonderful work, which he has completed since the beginning of his pontificate, especially today in the midst of cross and trial.
The pilgrimage is taking place along with the opening of the Year of Faith, is there a relationship between the two events?
Naturally. Our pilgrimage will also express our participation in the mission of the Church. Would would like to introduce the contribution of the always youthful traditional Liturgy for the New Evangelization, which the Holy Father is asking for during the Year of Faith. It is clear that this is an initiative with the support of a large number of families, and that it is a source of increasingly larger numbers of religious and priestly vocations, something, which has shown itself as proven to extremely valuable in the Western world at present.
It appears that has not sufficiently considered this completely other vocations "crisis", which the institutes of Tradition are experiencing, in which they are forced to refuse those waiting for priestly office because of a shortage of places and facilities, a crisis which is the exact opposite of the Diocesan.
I would even say that one must especially stress this point. By the grace of God, the Traditional Liturgy promoted without filling all the holes, there has been a significant growth in vocations in certain countries like France and the USA -- still, the phenomenon could widen itself. In France for example there are 710 diocesan seminarians against 140 seminarians (50 from the SSPX) in seminaries of Tradition, this corresponds to 16%. This relationship also effects those who are ordained to the priesthood. This year there were 21 new priests of tradition against 97 diocesan priests. Additionally there has been a complete transformation and realignment of the diocesan clergy. The young dicoesan priests and the seminarians of the diocese are drawn to both forms of the Roman Rite and say this quite openly. It is not to underestimate if the same goes for Ffrance, that a third of the diocesan priestly candidates could be described as candidates for Summorum Pontificum. "Le petit people", as one says in the French, the simple faithful, stand by the Holy Father to follow the mission of the Church.
How do you explain the criticism and irritation about the pilgrimage, which has come from certain circles?
I can tell you that I have recommended that the organization committee is formed around Una Voce, because it works for unification, which is held int he world of Tradition as "neutral" and therefore liable to have the least criticism. The conflicts and directions within the groups of Tradition considered, it seemed a good idea, to support them first by a hastily established committee, in order to avoid jealousies and rivalries. Some critics appeared from the worry in the success from it that a new organization could be created, which would encompass the entire world of Tradition. If that had been our intention, we would surely have already succeeded to make the earth square. I think that around the earth in the meantime have the understanding that we have solely organized a modest organizational committee for this event, which will direct the pilgrimage and dissolve on the evening of the 3rd of November.
What message do you want to finish this interview with?
I don't want to finish with theological words, but with those which the faithful can understand that the Holy Mass on the 3rd of November is a giant "parish Mass" of Catholics from the whole world, who come in order to be together with the"Universal Pastor", to pray with the Pope. They want want to be together for him and to pray with him in the Gregorian Latin Liturgy, which out of their very own understanding is a community Liturgy.
Abbé Claude Barthe was born in 1947 in the Archdiocese of Toulouse, studied at the Institut Catholique de Toulouse from 1964, where he acquired a degree degree in history and in civil law. In the post-Conciliar upheaval he adopted traditionalist positions and entered the seminary of the Society of St. Pius X . in Econe Switzerland. In 1979, he was received by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, founder of the SSPX priest. Because of sedevacantist positions he was expelled from the SSPX in 1987. He was among the founders of the magazine Catholica, which he edited for several years and is one of the sharpest critics of the Church crisis, the brilliant theologian and liturgist the took a teaching position at the seminary of the Institute Bon Pasteur. After years of a canonically unclear status, Barthe approached together with the founders of the Institute Bon Pasteur increasingly to Rome and finally returned back to full unity with the Holy See. In 2005 the canonical status was finally resolved by a decision of the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei, and he was issued a Celebret. He now teaches Liturgy at the seminary of the Institute of Christ the King and High Priest. Abbé Barthe has written many books that are not available in English.

News -- Dominican Order Explosive Growth for Tradition
(New York) While the Dominican Order in some parts of Europe has some serious growth problems, that is not the ase for the Dominican Province of St. Joseph, which has just published on the internet site it operates for vocations, a photo of the Academic Year 2012/13. There are 52 brothers in the Province, who are studying at the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C.. They all cultivate the traditions of the Dominican Order, wear the habit worthily and are all drawn to the Immemorial Mass of All Ages.

Another Collegeville Predator Pleads "Not Guilty" to Molestation
![]() |
Minored in "Theology" at St. John's University |
Edit: This story seems very fitting in light of the present accusations against Jimmy Saville and others in the entertainment industry. Remember when Cory Feldman said that "pedophilia was Hollywood's #1 problem?". Here's a little something to add some substance to that.
"I was surrounded by them, literally... They were everywhere like vultures."
An alumnus of the St. John's University, Mathew David Feeney, run by the Monastery of St. John's Abbey, according to Pine Curtain, was recently accused of sexually abusing two boys he promised would go to Hollywood in the capacity of his talent agency, Walden Entertainment.
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (KMSP) - A Minnesota talent agent accused of molesting two brothers who wanted to become actors was booked into jail early Tuesday, one day after a nationwide warrant was issued for his arrest. Matthew David Feeney, 43, turned himself in at the Washington County Jail at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday to be held on $200,000 bail.
He is scheduled to appear in court at 10:30 a.m. on two felony charges of criminal sexual conduct -- one for engaging in sexual contact with a 9-year-old boy and a second for abusing a 15-year-old boy while in a position of authority.
The criminal complaint states that Feeney met the brothers through Walden Entertainment in Bloomington, where he is the owner and casting director who works to secure acting roles in movies and television.Presently, the accused homosexual pederast has pled not guilty. He was previously charged in Aitken County for sexual abuse. The complicity of Sterns County law enforcement officials, allowed him to escape prosecution for 11 other possible cases and his sentence down to a misdemeanor and he was turned him loose on probation to be a threat to others.

Cardinal Woelki Rejects Homosexual Prize

Berlin's New Cardinal Woelki |
He has "clearly and unmistakably affirmed that homosexual activity 'is not ordered in itself', transgressing against the natural law and for that reason can not be accepted according to our convictions in our faith." On this he's making "no cutbacks in any way". Substantial and powerful firms belong to the Association Against Homophobia, like German Football Association (DFB), Deutsche Bank and the German Trade Union Association (DBG).

Russians Overwhelmingly Support Forming Religious Militias
Edit: Remember when Militia became a boogeyman in the US media in the early nineties? Well, this is Russia and everything seems to be wildly different here. In addition to making anarchist riots by prostitutes and blasphemous derelicts increasingly unpopular, Russians are overwhelmingly behind the idea of forming religious Militias to defend holy sites.
So, they're not just naming submarines after Saints and making films celebrating reactionary political figures, the Russians are taking it to the streets as it were. To be sure there will be much hand-wringing in the West. Or will there be?
It's really not much of a stretch to go from this to forming military units to provide security, medical and material support for Christians in the Holy Land, is it?

Moscow, October 18, Interfax - The majority of Russians questioned in an opinion poll expressed support for a proposal to organize Orthodox Christian militias for the declared purpose of protecting holy sites.
The idea was backed by 66% of respondents in a survey carried out by the All-Russia Center for Public Opinion Studies (VCIOM) last month.
The initiative to form militias for patrolling city streets, put forward in August by the leader of the Holy Russia organization, had the widest support among respondents who support the ruling Yedinaya Rossia (United Russia) party - 71%, - among those are older than 45 (70%), those who are poorly educated (73%), those living in cities with populations of more than a million and those not using the Internet (72%), VCIOM experts told Interfax.
New Testimonies About Alois Irlmaier
The Third World War
(kreuz.net) The Bavarian well builder Alois Irlmaier (+1959) was a exceptionally gifted seer.
The website 'alois-irlmaier.de' documents testimonies about him.
The Testimony of a Woman
Among others, there was a woman (65) who had visited Irlmaier a dozen times between 1954 -1957 in the Bavarian town of Piding population, 5,300, near the Austrian border.
She reports that Irlmaier made many predictions which have since been confirmed.
Precise Descriptions
Irlmaier talked about a third world war, according to her report.
This would be preceded by a lapse of faith. Before that there will be a single currency.
In the year of the war's start the Bavarians will be able to mow already in March.
The event will be let loose when things go haywire in the middle east.
After the third world war, things will be so warm in Bavaria that oranges and limes can be grown in Piding.
Credit Cards and Mobile Telephones
According to the woman's information Irlmaier mentioned a "card board" that people would pay with.
He mentioned also a 'Zuban-box'. 'Zuban' was a cigarette factory in Munich, which manufactured filtered, filterless and cigarillos.
Irlmaier added: The "people speak closely in the Zuban-box -- to play with it."
Snowflakes on the Watzmann
The website also cited a man in Berchtesgaden, whose family had befriended Irlmaier.
The man reported that Irlmaier talked about the large snow cap on the Watzmann mountain near Berchtesgaden which lasts year round.
When this cap can no longer be seen, then the great darkness will follow.
In the mean time, the cap is almost impossible to see in summer.
Warnings About the Euro
A man from Siegdorf near Traunstein in upper Bavaria reports that Irlmaier had been asked about the introduction of the D-Mark, how it would be as new money.
Irlmaier is to have then said, that the new currency was ok.
But he warned about what would come after.
Media Blitz Against Boy Scouts of America Has Raised Tempo
The most effective way of intimidating private organizations which don't yield to official narratives about human sexuality, science, politics and so on, will be systematically attacked.
Edit: there's a significant amount of media pressure being applied to the Boy Scouts of America which has policies against homosexuals. It's a standard pattern that anyone can detect as various organizations and blogs which don't toe the line with respect to accepted sexual and social norms, can face public humiliation and even criminal charges as is the case with the German Catholic site 'Kreuz.net' who is being accused of "inciting hatred" under German law. But it's not just religious organizations which refuse to conform like the Catholic Church but civic youth organizations like the Boy Scouts. Neither Scoutmasters, the Scouts themselves, may be homosexual, for as the oath which Scouts take insists a Scout is "morally straight."
This amount of hysteria directed at a private, voluntary organization like this causes one to wonder about the rate of abuse in organizations which enjoy the approval of the media complex. (Girl Scouts, Brownies, Gay Straight Alliance, etc...)
Despite this welcome intransigence from the Boy Scouts, there is more than media pressure that can be brought to bear, as it was used recently to such great effect in the case of Father Guarnizo . Even Catholic resources were brought to bear on a Catholic priest who had a legitimate cause and in fact, an obligation, to refuse a public sinner Holy Communion. The local ordinary, Cardinal Wuerl, even came down on the side of the public sinner and feelings. Some might say that it shows that the Catholic Church is divided, but others, more well informed, should say that there are those in charge who have opposing agendas.
As is the case, the media is playing its usual manipulative cards invoking false charity in the name of an all-inclusive relativism. It's similar to the accusations leveled against Father Guarnizo above, that he wasn't pastorally sensitive or acting beyond his authority. It may be that Cardinal Wuerl would refuse Communion to Bill Clinton if he presented himself for the Sacrament, but we feel that not only is the Cardinal far afield in his understanding of the Sacrament, although for perfucntory reasons he may be willing to follow rubrics and canons, a special interest victim group will always trump Catholic practice.
But this isn't the case with the Boy Scouts of America, and given that they are unwilling to bend to media pressure. Other weapons are being brought to bear upon the somewhat isolated boys' organization, and it is incidentally, the abuse -hoax, which has also been very effective at intimidating, humiliating and even destroying Catholic authorities who try to resist the status quo. Cardinal Law comes to mind. As we're eager to point out, Cardinal Law was very outspoken about pro-life and insulted the Clintons during a politically charged homily at St. Patrick's Cathedral during the funeral of Joseph Cardinal O'Connor. It's true that the Cardinal of Boston was not an ideally orthodox shepherd, but the damage claims and sex abuse accusations against his Diocese were not significantly larger than those faced by Cardinal Mahony of Los Angeles. The only discernable difference is the fact that Cardinal Mahony was an Old Liberal, who favored homosexual causes and very much a darling not only of the media, but the Hollywood elites themselves.
The Boy Scouts aren't perfect, but they oppose the agenda by "discriminating" against those afflicted with the disorder of homosexuality. as Canon 4358 of the Catholic Church reads is a "disordered state". If the Boy Scouts fell in lockstep, does anyone believe that they would be facing the barrage of articles now appearing in the media, accusing them of covering up child abuse.
The media has been abusing children for years and the silence is almost deafening.
In any event, if an organization refuses to bend to media pressure, then it will have to be systematically discredited, and what better way of discrediting an organization than by showing how it is harmful to children and is less than responsible about how it handles sex-abuse. (Of course, ignoring the complicity of a certain unhealthy sexual "orientation" in all of this.)
Now, they're calling this attack "the perversion files", here, Psychology Today, here, coverups, here, more coverups, 5,000 expelled from Boy Scouts in Palm Beach since 1958, Telegraph, Fox, Overwhelming interest in abuse crashes website, Disturbing Instances of Abuse, even Al Jazeera is gloating, and so on.
The data is forthcoming, but it's a pretty safe bet that your children are safer with a Scoutmaster than they are with the teachers in public schools.

Who Conducted the Sex-Abuse on Children?
The Sexual Ideologue Kinsey
![]() |
Alfred Kinsey House in USA © gemeinfrei, en.wikipedia |
(kreuz.net) The US American sex ideologue Alfred Kinsey (+1956) found pedophiles in the USA and from abroad to abuse children.
He ordered them to violate infants and children because through this he could allegedly come by a normal "child sexuality".
There was a total of between 317 and 2035 infants and children were victims of Kinsey.
Many of these crimes against children -- oral and anal sex, sexual intercourse and abuse -- was committed on behalf of Kinsey and his research.
"Technically Trained Assistants"?
Kinsey has evaluated them in his tables and diagrams.
"Table 34" on page 181 of his book "Sexual Behavior in the Human Male" contains the allegedly scientific records of "multiple orgasms in adolescents before puberty."
The table contains records of infants at the age of five months, whose "orgasms" were measured by "technically trained assistants" with stop watches.
That is the basis for sexual maturation of children
A four year old child is apparently was measured having an orgasm 26 times.
Till today sexual pedagogues, pedophiles and those sympathizing draw on this supposed data, in order to determine that children have homosexual, heterosexual or bi-sexual inclinations and for that reason requiring "safer-sex" education.
The data is regularly used therefore to "prove" that children are already sexual at the time of birth.
Manipulated Results
Kinsey's team operated behind closed doors.
The subjects of the study were forced to give the desired answers to their sex questions.
That is how three quarters of the research data was secretly suppressed.
Finally he based his findings were based on the manners of the "normal man" on questions with men, of which over 86 percent had abnormal sexual encounters.
Of the men with abnormal sexual encounters belonged 200 sexual psychopaths, 1,400 who had committed sexual crimes and hundreds of criminals, hustlers and promiscuous homosexuals.
Prostitutes instead of normal women
Only a few women were ready to answer the questions of the Kinsey team.
For that reason he graded the subjects all women, who lived longer than a year with one man as "married".
The data about prostitutes and other women of unconventional life were assessed in the data as "normal house wives".
No one asked questions
How was it possible that a dry, scientific tome could become a best seller and neither a scientific reporter nor a scientific researcher questioned where the children came from who participated in the sexual experiments.
In his book on men Kinsey indicted the crying of infants, who still couldn't speak as "orgasms".
In actually they were screams, to writhe from pain, swooning and crying fits.
Who were the child abusers?
Who conducted these sexual experiments on children? Where were the parents?
In none of the thousand and more national and international book readings was Kinsey questioned about this.
Instead of this, he was described by the homosexual US author Gore Vidal (+2012) as "the most famous man of the century".
Kinsey was the mann who the homosexuals and the pedophile movement has much to thank for their progress.
The author is a Communications Researcher, author and President of the 'Institute for Media Education' in Sacramento in California. She was the adviser for American Justice, Education and Health authority.
2013 Catholics and Orthodox Will in Holy Land Will Celebrate Easter Simultaneously -- Soon in the Whole World?
(Jerusalem) In 2013 Catholics of the Holy Land will celebrate Easter together with the Orthodox on May 5th and not on March 31st. March as in the rest of the whole world. In Jerusalem and the other Holy places Easter will be celebrated according to the Julian calendar as the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem reveals.
The Holy See has allowed the various rites the freedom to celebrate with the Gregorian or the Julian calendar. The Catholics Bishops of the Holy Land have thus concluded, in order to strengthen the Christian unity in places, where the son of God was born on earth, lived and died on the cross, to follow the Julian Calendar which the Orthodox Christians also use.
From Gregorian to Julian Calendar
The ecumenical gesture which has significant importance also has to do with questions which are significant to members of the Latin and Oriental rites.
Lent, Easter and Pentecost will be celebrated according to a decree published yesterday by the Latin Patriarchate, according to the Julian Calendar, and thus was a suggestion triggered by the Bishops' Synod for the Near East in 2010. The decision addressed the paradox of different feast times in the same territory, and with that the element of division which has reached even into families.
The Ruling is Valid for 2013 ad experimentum
The decree will be issued ad experimentum only for the year of 2013. In 2014 in any case, the dates for Easter fall on the 20th of April and without any help, together on the same day. Til the year 2015 the Latin Patriarchate and the Holy See will meet for a final ruling. The Catholic Bishops of the Holy Land are prepared to give their agreement to a lasting adoption of the Julian Calendar and have expressed the wish that Rome may grant canonical approval.
In Israel, Palestinian Areas, Jordan and Cyprus the Western and Eastern Churches Celebrate Together
For the year of 2013 the ruling will effect the Catholic parishes of Israel, Palestinian Authority, Jordan and Cyrpus and then the complete sphere of influence of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem. There will be at least two exceptions in 2013. The parishes of Jerusalem and Bethlehem will celebrate according to the Gregorian Calendar during Easter on the 31st of March.
Exceptions exist in the Holy Sites of Jerusalem and Bethlehem because of the complicated legal system
Both exceptions are dependent upon the legal status quo, which date back to an Ottoman decree which certified the exact times the various confessions would use the various sites. These ordinances are expected to change in Jerusalem and Bethlehem, yet are at present unforeseen where the various confessions are eager to fight for every centimeter and every minute in the Holy Site. For the Catholic pilgrims who will visit the Holy Land and want to celebrate Easter in Jerusalem or Bethlehem, nothing will change.
The sign, which has been established by Catholics for the coming year, will be highly visible for the Christians in the Near East. In the Holy Land the divisions between Christians is clearly visible. It is not seldom that there is evidence of physical animosity between the confessions. The Latin Patriarchate wants to make a gesture of good will with this one-sided step and express the desire that for the faithful, whose families, might celebrate the feast at the same time.
Benedict XVI's desire For Worldwide Easter Between Orient and Occident
Pope Benedict XVI. has expressed many times the hope that Catholics and Orthodox will come to an accord for the celebration of the feast of Easter. The Holy Land represents the first step for that.

"You Know That We're Not Supermen"

The New General Prior of the Carthusians
"I sensed a powerful desire, to be useful to the Church and fellow man. I was also very drawn to the Apostolate."
(kreuz.net) Dom François-Marie Velut O. Carm has been the General Prior of the Carthusians since the 21st of September.
The cleric was born on the 30th of December 1948 as Michel Velut in Champagne in north east France.
He spent his childhood in this area as well -- in the small seminary of the 61,000 population city of Troyes.
Master's Degree in Paris
Then he studied in the Sorbonne and in the Paris 'Catholic Institute'.
There he earned a Master's Degree in Philosophy.
The subject of his work: "The Concept of Person in Christological Conflict of the 4th and 5th Centuries."
Entrance to the Carthusians
As Brother Micheal, he finished his 19th year with the Brothers of Charles Foucauld.
In 1989 he entered the Novitiate of the Grand Chartreuse at the age of 40.
There he made his solemn profession in 1996 as Dom François-Marie.
Relocation to Portes
On June 4th, 2001, Do François-Marie was relocated to the Charterhouse of Portes -- between Genf and Lyon.
On the 28th of September 2001, the monks there elected him Prior.
He then become a successor to Dom Étienne Descamps, who had held this office for 28 years.
After his election to Prior of Portes, he gave an interview to 'Voix de l' Ain':
How did you take your election to be Prior of Portes?
with a lot of fear -- but in the end there were enough signs to recognize the will of God. I only have to accept it.
As Procurator [General Secretary] of the Order, I already knew the house a bit. The canonical visitations which take place every two years, gave me a passing understanding about the expectations which exist in every Carthusian house.
In the Church there is a serious priest shortage. Isn't there some other way you would hae been more useful?
I sensed a powerful desire, to be useful to the Church and fellow man. I was also very drawn to the Apostolate.
In order to understand, it has to be taken at the level of faith, otherwise I'm only conscious that what I say, can only scandalize in view of the priest shortage.
We are all conscious of this: what was more awakening, is the radical step of total self-donation to God. This decision makes no sense unless it is looked at with the light of faith, if one believes in the value of prayer and a life given by God.
We feel as members of a family, who are conscious of our place int he Church, that Christ operates through others, through those who have abandoned themselves to the apostolate or in contact with His suffering. Everyone in his role.
You Carthusians, who have turned your entire lives to Christ and consider his work: How can you not be troubled by the evil, suffering, wars, which tear the world apart and the terror attacks?
This question disturbs teh whole world. We Christians ascribe them to human freedom.
It is not God, who will all of this. That is a part of our great plan of love, which human freedom is considered almost in a scandalous way.
Did He not allow his Son to be crucified? This concern for human freedom is the secret of the crazy love of God for men, a mystery, which excels us all.
We believe, that the eternal life of every person has more meaning for God than the earthly life and that the suffering, if it is the way of salvation, has a reason.
A great good can come from all the evil.
From a human perspective, what I'm saying here can excite indignation.
The evil and the suffering is also an opportunity for overcoming, love, generosity, devotion and universal brotherhood.
This answer to the evil through the good is a work of God's grace.
These acts are the purview of every human nature in his own frailty, his own responsibility.
You are preparing for the nine hundred year anniversary of the death of St. Bruno, your founder: What value do you see in this day?
We celebrate October 6th as the day of Bruno's birth into heaven, his entrance into eternal life.
That is an opportunity for us to find new strength and to deepen it, for which we are grateful to him -- for the charism of our vocation in the arms of today's Church, this way of life, which he founded and has continued to live in the course of the centuries.
He is our father, our founder, our model, our teacher. He has given us an example of total resignation: to long for fruitfulness, he decided to give up the illusory joys and the passsing riches of this fleeting world, in order to take up the search for God alone.
That is at the time that he refused to become Archbishop of Reims and instead became a hermit.
He gave us an example of heroic obedience, as he answered the Pope's call -- despite the danger of his his brother's dispersing.
He gave us the example of a complete obedience to the Spirit, as he refused to become Archbishop of Reggio. His words and his example call to us during our daily life: They might be an encouragement and inspiration, in our way in the moments of trial, hesitation and temptation, in order to continue ever more radically in our devotion to the Lord.
They know that we're not supermen. We have shortcomings. We are only humble Christians.
The isolation and the time of test in the desert brings us closer to men.

China's Church is "true" and Prays For an End to "Infidelity" in Other Countries -- Letter to Bishops' Synod
(Vatican) The Church int he Peoples' Republic of China is "living, true and devoted despite 50 years of persecution." The Bishops' Synod began with this witness by the Chinese Bishops on Monday. Msgr. Nikola Eterovic, the General Secretary of the Synod introduced the opening of the congress to the writings of Msgr. Lucas Li Jingeng, the Bishop of Fengxiang, who was refused participation in the Synod by the Communist Regime. The 90 year old Bishop has spent more than 20 years in the concentration camps of the CCP. After the Communist grab for power he was imprisoned, he was first released in the 70s with severe restrictions.
"I greet you who are able to participate in the Synod and venerate the tomb of St. Peter," wrote Bishop Li Jingfeng in his message. "It pains me very much that your voice could not be heard in the Chinese Church." The Peking regime is now allowing the participation of any Bishop in the Synod, neither those loyal to the regime, nor those who are true to Rome Bishops, of the underground Bishops are not to be discussed. "I will tell you that our Church in China, especially the laity, has shown the piety and uprightness of the early Christians since the beginning of 50 years of persecution." The Bishop of Fengxiang continued with a view to the situation in the Church in other parts of the world: "I pray fervently and constantly to the almighty God, that our piety, our faithfulness, our persistence may heal the tepidity, the infidelity and worldliness, which is the situation of dissipating openness and freedom abroad. In the year of faith you may be able to fathom why our faith in China has preserve red with such purity in your debates in the Synod. It is as the great Chinese philosopher Lao Tse said: "As disaster brings new flowering, thus disaster is hidden in tepidity.' The Church outside of China is infected with inertia, infidelity and the secularization of the Faith even of many clergy. In the Church in China, the laity are as pious as the clergy", said Bishop Li Jingfeng in his letter to the Synod.
Bishop Lucas Li Jinfeng has presided over the only Diocese in the Peoples' Republic of China for several years, which is the only Diocese associated to the underground Church loyal to Rome. In 2004 Msgr. Li Jingfeng was officially recognized by the regime in a moment of relaxation of relations between Rome and Peking without signing the infamous act of submission and joining the regime's Bishops. His Diocese has experienced several waves of persecution since then, in which priests were abducted, cloisters stormed and dissolved. The last incarceration Bishop Li Jingfeng has suffered was in Autumn 2001.

The German Bishops Ally With Child-sex Advocate Volker Beck to Destroy "Kreuz.net"
![]() |
Wants Decriminalization of Sex With Children, Volker Beck © Grüne Münster, Flickr, CC |
(kreuz.net) The Old Liberals have aligned themselves with those who despise the Church, in order to badger Europe's largest Catholic site.
Today the German homosexual-broadcaster 'domradio.de' of the Diocese of Cologne has insulted 'kreuz.net'.
It maintains that the German Breakaway Bishops have "prepared a quick end" for the popular site.
These measures have created a free-advertising effect for the internet bastion 'kreuz.net'.
Tell me, who are you going with?
The 'domradio.de' article cited a letter from the Secretary of the German Bishops' Confrence, Father Hans Langedorfer, to the homosexual, church-hater, college dropout, Comrade Volker Beck.
The Old Liberal priest affirmed the church-hater: "It must be a common goal to bring a quick end to this site."
Comrade Beck hates 'kreuz.net', because the site regularly pillories his inhuman politics.
Father Langendorfer and his Child Murdering Friend
In 2007, Father Langendorfer's new friend insulted the current landlord of 'domradio.de' -- Joachim Cardinal Meisner -- repeatedly as a "self-justified preacher of hate".
First, on October 1st he accused the Archbishop of Munich and Freising, Reinhold Cardinal Marx of "shamelessness" and "inhumanity", because he had defended marriage.
In 1988 Comrade Beck argued for a "partial decriminalization" of child molestation.
On the German lockstep direction Stalingrad
Another enemy of 'kreuz.net' is the lapsed Catholic and abortion politician, Comrade Claudia Roth (57).
She demanded according to information from 'domradio.de' a widening of the manhunt for the "man behind the site".
The Old Liberal Bishops the one who hates Bishops to take up "reinforced internal researches".
Matthias Kopp, the speaker for the Church-tax Bishops, saluted the Antifa-Neonazi-Comrade: Such outcries shouldn't be required.
They Covered up the Pedophile
Comrade Roth hates 'kreuz.net', because the site has exposed her Church-hate and her inhuman politics for years.
The Church-hater is a consultant with the infamous association 'Humanistische Union'.
In the past she has denied the pedophile intrigues in this group.
You May Not Criticize the Antifa-Neonazis
In September of 2006, Comrade Roth insulted the Pope for his apparent association with freedom of speech.
It is not acceptable, "if Benedict XVI" wants "to take away the freedom of speech from critics of religion" -- he heckled.
Because for Comrade Roth, freedom of speech ends when left homoseuxal- and abortion parties are criticized.
"Faschistoid Move"
In February of 2007 Comrade Roth described the former Bishop Walter Mixa of Augsburg as a "cold warrior".
In October of the same year he insulted him as a "crackpot, separatistic hyper-fundy from Augsburg".
A speaker of the Diocese of Augsburg accurately described these abuses as "fascistoid moves".
Comrade Roth's selection of words recall "in a horrifying way the propaganda campaigns of the National Socialists against the Catholic Church."

The People Want the Old Church Back
The people want the old Church back -- Society of St. Pius X on the Street -- Stormtroopers Attack a Funeral Procession -- "Homosexual" insult every normal person -- An errant fringe group
The People Want the Old Church Back
Germany. In many parts of the parishes there is now as before difficulties for the acceptance of the Second Vatican Council. The Essen Dogmatic theologian, Ralf Miggelbrink said this for the Catholic weekly 'Tag des Herrn' in the Diocese of Dresden-Meissen, Erfurt Gorlitz and Magdeburg. In the hearts of people, the Pre-Conciliar still endures, the Dogmatic theologian says: "Many a pastor, who had collected a lot of money from their communities in order to saw up a linden wood high altar during the 70s, has produced harm which still has an effect."
Society of Pius X on the Street
Germany. Last week about 150 Catholics prayed in front of the baby-slaughter organization 'pro familia' in Saarbrucken. This was reported by 'pius.info'. The human butchery is part of the international child-murder firm 'Planned Parenthood'. The human rights activists prayed the way of the cross for the unborn and drew along with candle light and torches through Saarbrucken. They carried signs which had messages like: "God's Fifth Commandment: You should not kill" or "Abortion is Murder and therefore a serious sin".
Occupation Troops Attack a Funeral Procession
Occupied Palestine. This Wednesday Israeli occupation troops attacked a Palestinian funeral procession in the 13,000 population city Beit Ummar -- eleven kilometers north west of Hebron. This cause injury to some of the funeral guests. The coordinator for the local people's committee against the building of the wall and new settlements, Mohammad Awad, reported to the news agency 'WAFA', that near the city cemetery, troops attacked the procession. They fired tear gas grenades and noise bombs amid the people. The inhalation of gas caused most of the injuries.
"Homosexual" insults every normal person
Germany. Whoever reviles police officials as "homosexuals" will not be charged with a criminal offense. The decision of the court of Tubingen went according to the anti-Church news site 'n-tv.de'. The concept "homosexual" is apparently not damaging to the reputation or degrading but value-neutral. The accused had insulted a police official as "homosexual", "dirty ...." and "fairy". For the last two insults and further infractions like assault with bodily harm the accused was fined with a fine of 1,350 euros.
An errant fringe group
"A very strong presence, in the armor of Our Lord, against the homosexual minority, who are treated as if they were a significant part of our society, and not as an errant fringe group. Keep it up, continue to expose the lies of those who are lost, so that they can be brought to truth."

German Homo-SS Bites Granite
Good luck, German homosexuals: The world is still far away from supporting your brown struggle against truth and freedom.
(kreuz.net) The police of the former Nazi Capital of Berlin have broken their teeth on the Catholic site 'kreuz.net'.
The one responsible for the Christian-hunt at the command of the brown homosexuals is the German Censor Policeman Philip-Henrik Költzsch.
German Mind-Snoops are at Work
Several days ago Költzsch contacted the current server company for Europe's largest Catholic site, 'kreuz.net'.
He described himself as a subordinate of the homosexual lobby:
"Here [in muzzle-Germany] an investigation is being conducted regarding public incitement to hate (§ 130 Strafgesetzbuch) by reason of, among other things, contents offensive to homosexuals by the web-presence of 'kreuz.net'.
The kind of National Socialist law in the preceeding paragraph being cited by Költzsch is illegal according to international legal standards.
The official censor also mentioned paragraph 95 of the German criminal code and demanded from the server company a "handing over of the complete available dates about the owner of the site, inclusive of payment dates and the IP-addresses of the last ten logins and exact times and data for the time zone."
The Basket
The firm answered the inquiry with a legal lesson: "According to the German 'Telemedia laws', an internet service provider "may" grant information, however it must not."
Paragraph 95 of the Criminal Code Order is subject to a requirement of judicial decree.
Only in "imminent danger" may a prosecutor order distrainment.
The Cold Shower
But that's not all.
The firm informed the muzzle official also, "that we are not a BRD (German) registered company and thusly do not fall under German law.
And: "We don't back up communications - payments and other information in any way."
The firm had to disappoint the Homo-SS: "Even if we wanted to we couldn't provide any information."

Father Schmidberger: There Isn't Much More to be Expected From the Pope
Father Franz Schmidberger: Volte Face in the Vatican
"What use is the Motu Proprio to the Old Liturgy if a year thereafter, one of the worst opponents of this Liturgy is given a key position?"
(kreuz.net) There are rumors that in the case of the regulation of the Society of St. Pius X that a certain western European country will have its ambassador to the Holy See threatened with resignation.
This was explained by Father Franz Schmidberger, Mathematician and German District Superior of the Society in an interview with the Catholic monthly 'Kirchliche Umschau'.
The Vatican Appeared Satisfied with the Answer
The clergyman recapitulated the most recent history of the negotiations of the Society with the Vatican.
On the 16th of March the CDF attempted to give an ultimatum to Society General Superior, Bishop Bernard Fellay, to accept the Dogmatic Preamble of September 14th.
Thereupon Bishop Fellay published a dogmatic text, which stressed the persistence of the Society in the Catholic position:
"The proposal of Msgr. Fellay went as far as we could, to satisfy the side of the CDF's position, and on the other side not to give up any of our positions."
The text found, according to Schidberger, "clearly the approval of the Holy Father and also the agreement of the Congregation for Doctrine and the Faith".
Pressure Was Put on the Pope
Then there came an unexpected change of position: Bishop Fellay received a new text on June 13th frot he CDF.
The new demands contained within were described by Father Schmidberger as "very surprising".
The Pope was not made happy happy, according to the CDF, with a subsequently specified interview, which Msgr Fellay gave on the recognition of the the Society.
At the same time, there was probably pressure put on the Pope.
Not Acceptable
The new demands bound the recognition of the legitimacy of the New Liturgy.
That was not acceptable according to Father Schmidberger: "How can one recognize a Liturgy as legitimate, which flees from the Catholic Faith and not to it?"
The second demand touched upon the Pastoral Council: The Society many only still discuss particularities of the Council.
They must then -- against their convictions -- attempt to reconcile it with the continuity of the earlier Magisterium.
Bishop Fellay had answered this text according to the statements of Father.
The Pope Speaks and Negotiates With a Forked Tongue
Father Schmidberger believes that the appointment of the heterodox Archbishop Gerhard Luwig Müller as guardian of the Catholic Faith was responsible for a change of course toward the Society in the Vatican.
He also criticized the appointment of Archbishop Arthur Roch as Secretary of The Congregation of Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments:
"What is the point of a Motu Prorprio about the Old Liturgy, if you appoint one of its worst opponents to a key position, which will counteract the Traditional Mass?"
Catholic, Roman Catholic
However, Father Schmidberger decisively rejects any separation with Rome.
He cited the founder of the Society, Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre: "Neither Liberal nor Modernist, nor schismatic, rather Catholic, Roman Catholic!"
This devise of the Archbishop called for almost a daily tightrope walk for the society in view of the Church crisis.
A Pilgrimage for Lefebvrists?
The future of the negotiations with the Vatican would be dependent upon Archbishop Augustine Di Noia and his scope of negotiations.
Father Schmidberger discerns then that the Society still has to remain in its current position of misunderstanding.
He appealed to the faithful, not to be bitter toward the Holy See, rather to preserve love.
Some prelates in and out of the Curia have pleaded for the Society: "They have recognized how important the effect of the Society in the official area would be."
Father Schmidberger thinks: "Would the consideration not have value, if it meant the pastoral care of a pilgrimage or another seminary?"
The Errors Are Finally Discussed Openly
Father Schmidberger can't imagine a renewal of the Excommunication of the Society.
At the same time he insists that Msgr Muller is "really not our friend".
He demands the acceptance of the the errors, which have led to the Conciliar and post-Conciliar decline.
The recognition of the Society would mean for the ecclesiastical confession, that certain expressions are to be corrected and requires the Traditional Mass for the healing of its members.
Father Schmidberger expects little of the Pontificate of Benedict XVI.: "Humanly, since his last personal decisions in Rome, there is not overly much to be expected."

Pope Benedict XVI to Visit Ukraine?
Pope Benedict XVI may possibly visit the Greek-Catholic Archbishop of Kiev, Swjatoslaw Schwetschuk in the Ukraine.
Vatican City (kath.net/KNA) Pope Benedict XVI may possibly visit the Greek-Catholic Archbishop of Kiev, Swjatoslaw Schwetschuk in the Ukraine, according to him. The possibility about such a visit was already discussed for this year, said Schwetschuk on Monday in informal talks during the Bishops' Synod. With a view to the social importance it is being descried as a "delicate matter".
As to the question if the Pope might come to his country, Schwetschuk said: "I believe yes". The Catholics in Ukraine are awaiting Benedict XVI., says the head of the Greek-Catholic Church in Ukraine. The possibility of a papal trip to the Ukraine has been speculated upon for quite some time; an invitation has been extended by the Catholics united with Rome.

Bored by Synod: Cardinal Meisner Encourages Going to Confession More Often
"Since then, it hasn't been going forwards, but backwards."
Edit: in other words, it's not just going to confession, but having a good resolution to do something about your obligations and the state of your Diocese.
Nothing besides the Sacrament of Penance: Joachim Cardinal Meisner recommends going to confession more often -- instead of solving the problems in the Church.
(Kreuz.net) "We have sat here since the past week and have listened to the interventions from early morning until the evening -- which are very interesting."
The Neoconservative Cardinal Joachim Meisner Cologne reaffirmed this yesterday for his Old Liberal Flamer-Site 'domradio.de' [They were preaching out against the "sins" of homophobia, earlier and Cardinal Meisner hasn't done anything to correct them.]
When he was asked to explain "very interesting", he explained: "Everyone has the opportunity, to give an intervention. This makes the work a bit laborious.
Because: "Getting down to business" in discussion circles -- where the Germans stew in their own juices.
Bla-bla Isn't Enough
The Cardinal spoke of a "disappearing faith".
One has to ask "very seriously": "What have we done wrong?" -- he asked.
He described himself as a veteran of synods who has participated in ten such gatherings.
Only: "Since then, it hasn't gone forward, but backward." -- insisted the Cardinal soberly.
Certainly he could not bear the hard reality for long, but quickly got out of it by talking about the "Holy Ghost".
Despite which -- according to his own account -- the ten Bla-bla Synods he had gotten through, he still effused optimism: "I am of good hope that the Snod can have a good result."
More Penance?
His website attempted to hack back into it: "Can you talk about what has been done wrong up until now?"
Cardinal Meisner retreated: "I can only say what I've done wrong."
Or: "And that's something you must also ask yourself."
Here is a solution: "Are we going regularly to confession, that the sins of our life will be effaced and we will make room for the Holy Ghost?"
Fact: At least based on the situation of the Church in Cologne and in Germany it can be concluded that Cardinal Meisner isn't going to confession enough.
The Problem is not the World
He cited John Paul II: "The conditions in the secular society have become significantly more difficult."
Still, the problem isn't the world, but the priests and bishops who've become more worldly -- and its vanishing faith.
