Archdiocese of Saint Paul: Agitator Shows Signs That She Sympathizes With Aberrosexuality

Edit:  Currently, there's a significant media attack being levied against the Archdiocese of St. Paul, its Archbishop, loyal priests and laity.  A look into the background of those making the charges and who is associated with whom should give even a casual reader insight into what is behind this attack, and the sheer vindictiveness of it.

Father Michael Tegeder, long-time dissident who is also close to an accused sexual abuser himself, Deacon Joseph Damiani, has an interesting advocate in the form of the canon lawyer who blew the whistle against the Diocese, Jennifer Haselberger. (An investigation was reopened in June against Damiani and he was removed from ministry pending the investigation.)

Despite the fact that there are more sexual predators at large in Collegeville, Minnesota, than in the Archdiocese, Jeff Anderson's efforts are focused on the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of St. Paul who himself opposed same-sex marriage.  Could it be that Anderson's own sympathies for "marriage equality" are determining the targets of his righteous indignation?

Haselberger was among voices who unjustifiably accused Father Paul Marx OSB of anti-semitism during an HLI Mass at the Cathedral, where she essentially joined herself to gomorrist counter-demonstrators  who carried signs with blasphemies and committed indecent acts in 1997 on the Cathedral steps. The attorney, Jeff Anderson himself is a very significant donor to the American Civil Liberties Union.  Their championing for the destruction of the family is well documented.

Whistleblower Haselberger, who is collaborating as a witness for Jeff Anderson's crescade against the Catholic Church, recently issued an affidavit about Father Tegeder and the Archdiocese which strikingly demonstrate where her sympathies truly lie.  Bishop Cozzens merely says that her views don't necessarily coincide with the Archdiocese.  As reported in Columbus, Ohio's, The Republic:

[Minneapolis] In a sworn statement released Tuesday, Jennifer Haselberger alleged that a former top deputy to Archbishop John Nienstedt proposed declaring the Rev. Michael Tegeder disabled to silence his opposition to the archbishop's efforts to promote a constitutional amendment against same-sex marriage. She said in her affidavit that the archbishop is the only person with the power to declare a priest disabled, and no medical diagnosis is necessary.
Tegeder told The Associated Press that the affidavit was the first he'd heard of the idea of silencing him.
"It's laughable. ... That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard," [Not as laughable as misrespresenting yourself as a Catholic priest in good standing.] said Tegeder, who serves as pastor at St. Francis Cabrini Church in Minneapolis and has been calling for Nienstedt to step down for some time.
Surely, traitors merit the hottest places in Hell?

Dozens of French Clergy Say: I Have Already "Married" Divorced and Homosexuals

(Rome) 75 French priests and deacons say they are prepare to ecclesiastically marry divorced. No, even aberrosexual pairs. In the clergy there are liturgical trapeze artists. They purport they are entitled to Christ, the Church and the Sacraments, finally even human happiness itself. "Behind this hide the same methods, which are applied to hand communion," says Riposte Catholique. Will Pope Francis react as Paul VI?

Whoever still didn't know it, knows it now: dozens of Catholic priests are outspokenly saying they have already "married" divorced and homosexuals.
This was the shocking assertion of the
Conférence catholique des baptisé-e-s francophones (Catholic Conference of French Speaking Baptized Men and Women). The assertions were clear. 75 priests and deacons maintain, they are breaking Church law and giving the Sacrament of matrimony according to their own discretion. The disobedient priest and deacons are getting a head start with a view to the Bishops' Synod on the Family in October. They clearly have an expectation that their "abuse of the Sacraments" (Corrispondenza Romana) will be officially imposed and raised to the level of normalcy . In this manner, they are attempting to put pressure on the Bishops' Synod. One of the many progressive and heretical attempts to extort the current ecclesiastical leadership.

Invalid Nuptials in Churches

The 75 French deacons and priests are celebrating "weddings" between two people, of which one or both are objectively barred a Church wedding, because they were married in the Church,
even though they were civilly divorced. Civil marriages do not involve the Church. Ecclesiastical marriage, thus a Sacrament, is valid for life. A divorce is not possible. An ecclesiastical annulment can only determine, if an ecclesiastical marriage was validly consecrated and if there were no objective impediments at the time of marriage. In this case the marriage can be declared invalid. It had never existed.

Similarly invalid are "marriages" of people divorced in the Church, and likewise if aberrosexuals It is considered merely as a mockup of a Church act without any validity. That raised the question why these are generally being addressed at all. Then there is also the more pressing fraud deacons and priests engage upon, when they fool such people with marriage. On disciplinarian questions there is another question, as to how much guilt they bear in which they are engaged in such blasphemous mockeries of the sacraments. In stead of an advantage, such a farce of marriage does serious spiritual damage to those participating in it. Not least is the damage to the Church's image and the confusion such acts, n
Which go unchecked, cause among the faithful, those of other confessions and non-Christians.

Just as the sacramental marriage is indissoluble, every "marriage" of persons who are objectively hindered, and in such an impediment, as it is known to be a concrete case is null and void from the very start. Canon law leaves not the slightest doubt on this case: "The essential properties of marriage are unity and indissolubility; in christian marriage they acquire a distinctive firmness by reason of the sacrament."(Canon 1056)
For Some Clergy No Rules Are Valid
– How is it With Reality?

Actually for some priests and deacons there are no rules that seem to be valid. Because ultimately, the sacrament have no validity? The shocking suspicion, that they themselves have fallen from the faith, won't be hard to discount. More than 60 percent of priests have reported that in contentious situations, or in those where there are clearly objective impediments to marriage, neither appeal to the competent pastor, nor bishop. They "celebrate" much more for customer inquiries, as requested like service persons, and they're done. The next request. The word "celebrate" is flexible anyway. One "celebrates" a party. That's what it's all about. To celebrate a party is fun. Every opportunity is good for that, even in the Church, even if for "heterodox" reasons, like the instrumentality toward the Bishops' Synod to have the wishes of the baptized addressed, to put the sacraments of the Church in question, which can not be applied in the Church, nor binding.

Slight of Hand: "Blessing" Instead of Sacrament

The "Liturgical Trapeze Artists", says Corrispondenza Romana, are not embarrassed. They are trying to employ euphemisms to their abuse, so that their "celebrations" are "only" simple blessings in the Church, but not a Sacrament. For that priests and deacons make excuses for the "Farce", which is just a game. There isn't a sensible doubt: what these disobedient priests and deacons mercilessly injure, that they would also if there was an opportunity, even mercilessly abolish and alter. Which in turn raises the question of their personal faith.

Through the slight of hand of a supposed "blessing", which is only a simulated ceremony that looks like a wedding, the disobedient priest and deacons assume completely for themselves the pretension, of being completely within the bounds if Church law and not to have crossed any ecclesiastical limits. Dialectics make much possible. The question of intellectual honesty is not considered. And not only that. macht viel möglich, sehr viel.

They Haven't Read Familiaris Consortio

In Familiaris Consortio Pope John Paul II wrote to the remarried and divorced:

"However, the Church reaffirms her practice, which is based upon Sacred Scripture, of not admitting to Eucharistic Communion divorced persons who have remarried. They are unable to be admitted thereto from the fact that their state and condition of life objectively contradict that union of love between Christ and the Church which is signified and effected by the Eucharist. Besides this, there is another special pastoral reason: if these people were admitted to the Eucharist, the faithful would be led into error and confusion regarding the Church's teaching about the indissolubility of marriage.

And addressing the entire question still more clearly:

"Similarly, the respect due to the sacrament of Matrimony, to the couples themselves and their families, and also to the community of the faithful, forbids any pastor, for whatever reason or pretext even of a pastoral nature, to perform ceremonies of any kind for divorced people who remarry. Such ceremonies would give the impression of the celebration of a new sacramentally valid marriage, and would thus lead people into error concerning the indissolubility of a validly contracted marriage."

"Arrogant and Sacrilegious Audacity"

Seven of the 75 polled disobedient asserted that they had also already "blessed" aberrosexual couples. 39 respondents admitted that they are prepared, if the opportunity presents itself. "The arrogant and sacrilegious audacity of these disobedient priests and deacons requires a clear and immediate answer from competent Church authority," so says Corrispondenza Romana.

The situation is, however, not that as it is, as when they would be attending their competent positions. The Catholic French daily, La Croix, owned by the Bishops' Conference, limited it's report to the laconic observation that the "question of 'second marriage' which is one of the sensible questions, which will be addressed by the Bishops' Sunod from the 5-19th of October in Rome.

Same Methods Accompanied the Introduction of Hand Communion

According to Riposte Catholique, there is an intended strategy behind this, to influence the Bishops' Synod according to the motto: since some are already doing it at present it would be better to make it a rule. That is, says Riposte Catholique, exactly the method that introduced hand Communion. In order to hinder Paul VI from strengthening hand Communion, the "Rhenish Alliance" intervened with the statement that such a step would do more damage to the Church than good, because this praxis is already in general use in many parishes and tacitly accepted. Paul VI. "The sorry results of this decision, to interpret it as harmless, is well known. And how will Pope Francis act?," asks Corrispondenza, leaving the question hanging in the air.

Bishop Vorderholzer and the New “World Christian” of the “Climate Neutral” Katholikentag

(Regensburg) Bishop Rudolf Voderholzer of Regensburg is of the opinion that the term layman should be replaced by  “World Christian" in the parlance of the Church, which should mean as much as Christian in the world and Christian to the world. This would better reflect the teaching of the Second Vatican Council of role and mission of the laity.
Bishop Voderholzer, a new member of the Congregation of the Faith in Rome, considers that the term  "lay" for baptized but not consecrated Catholics, probably with a view to the universal priesthood,  to be discriminatory. The bishop made this statement  on 31 May at the Katholikentag, [Catholic Day] which was held in his diocese. That’s when a controversy arose  in the context of a discussion of the role of the laity in the Church. The organizer of the Catholic Conference is the  Central Committee German Catholics (ZdK).
The bi-annual Catholic Day serves as a platform for all Catholics of Germany, or at least nearly all.  The restriction is necessary because the big event is dominated by progressive to radical progressive groups. Those looking for a truly Catholic,   offer true to the faith,  will not find it at Katholikentag  right away. Seriously faithful Catholics  have disappeared  for several years from such new events, such as the Congress Joy of the Faith of the Forum of German Catholics or the Congress Meeting World Church or the Church in Need. The Katholikentag is primarily a diluted,  a disintegrating on the margins Catholic milieu that maintains its more anti-Roman sentiment, constantly talks about “structural" reforms "struktuelle" because  what it lacks in  content, it  compensates by  hyperactivity.

"Catholic Lesbian" Instead of Pro-Lifers

A glance at the program of the Katholikentag "in which the taboos fall” confirms  any apprehension. While the non-negotiable values whose defense Pope Benedict XVI.  had urged  were at best marginally represented, there were "Catholic lesbians", "gay Catholics", "women against the celibacy" and other groups, by definition, anti-church groups who were given a lot of space. The ZdK supports the government bill for abortion counseling system of women determined to have an abortion, whose hypocritical government neutrality allowed  and accepted the funded killing machine. Bishop Voderholzer initially had refused the participation of the Association Donum Vitae following Rome’s guidance, but then quickly caved in before ZdK.  In a joint statement by Bishop and ZdK it was said:  "While maintaining different fundamental views" recommended by both sides, Donum Vitae will be allowed at Katholikentag. The position demanded by Cardinal Raymond Burke that Catholics be “uncompromising” Pro-lifers would be hard pressed to find at Katholikentag.  Zdk does not want to offend  the zeitgeist because shows   pro-lifers the door. Tellingly would therefore translated better as "Toothless German Catholics" ZdK, or more accurately with “Zeitgeisty German Catholics.”

Some years ago the ZdK published  a declaration on the Jews, which states that Jews need neither Christ nor the Church, as they are already members of the Old Covenant which has never been repealed. Finally, a heresy, but above all a fraud against the Jews, who are deprived of  salvation.

Trying to Garner Applause

The question remains, what Bishop Voderholzer with his proposal would like to express exactly beyond activism and zeal for reform. Why should the terms "Catholic" and "Christian"  no longer be sufficient? Since the claim in the self-designation of Christian has always been universal and transcends all boundaries of nations and states, the complement appears as "World Christian” is just as bulky as  it is a superfluous pleonasm. Or should priests and religious who leave the battlefield in the world a new type "World Christian"? Will it be said that the consecrated representatives of the Church give up the fight for the non-negotiable values, and the final decision is left to the “worldly Christians"?
Ultimately, the proposal of Bishop Voderholzer seems a rather unsuccessful attempt to garner  applause from ZdK and other disaffected progressive laity.  Perhaps the anti-Church Association We are Church, which recently hit the headlines with the excommunication of its president Martha Heizer, is adopting  the proposal of the Bishop of Regensburg.
What remains of the Katholikentag  in Regensburg than to “to touch a bishop"? Despite the "new openness" with the "Francis" effect, which the ZdK conspicuously benevolent "welcomed", enter in the "mature Christians”, who will in the future be possibly named "World Christians", even after several days of Katholikentag are frustrated by the same “unresolved problems of the Church”. It’s a burden  that they do not get rid of, if they do not accept the Church's teachings in faith, but believe they are justified here and there bending it according to their wishes.   Bishop Voderholzer would have had a large audience, had he called upon some basic things of being a Christian to memory.  As an aside, and it is noted in passing on the  ZdK,  that a Holy Mass in the Old Rite was not allowed in the Katholikentag extravaganza despite its more than 1,000 events.

Masses for Remarried Divorced and Aberrosexuals with Communion "For Everyone"

(Vienna) A "disobedient" priest and a suspended deacon "anticipate the Vatican." They have announced that they will be offering this  summer of  their own "services for remarried divorcees, gays, lesbians and single mothers" as Die Kleine Zeitung Graz reported.
The whole thing takes place in the Diocese of Graz-Seckau in Pfarrverband Kirchberg an der Raab-St. Margaret in the Austrian province of Styria. Bernhard Preiss, the pastor of the parish association, is one of the "disobedient" priests of the Pfarrers Initiative of the former Vienna Vicar General and Caritas Director, Helmut Schüller.

"Disobedient" Pastor and Suspended Deacon

For Preiss and his deacon there are "signs of change". Starting this  summer the Parish Community will offer  a "service" for "remarried divorcees, homosexuals and single mothers", in which "all can receive Communion." The initiator and organizer is Deacon Gottfried Url, who defers together with pastor Preiß,  to Pope Francis. Deacon Url is actually no longer a Deacon because he was suspended from duty. He is himself  divorced and remarried and is thus is engaged in his own self-interest.
"I have now read many texts of the Pope - and everywhere  Francis writes of compassion and solidarity", said Url who is quoted by the Kleine Zeitung and draws  arbitrary and just as far-reaching conclusions. "My office has been made quiescent, but when I'm asked, I help", is how Url describes his idiosyncratic understanding of obedience. He "assists" at funerals, Easter food blessings or, "this year at the Easter Vigil in Loipersdorf".

Second Marriage "No Contradiction" Main Thing "First Partner is Financially not Left Hanging"

The fact that a second marriage is not contrary to the ideal of lifelong  bond  is something  of which the deacon is "convinced" for obvious reasons. The teaching of Christ on the sacrament of marriage does not seem essential to the "deacon".  What is "Important"   for him is only, "not to alienate first partner  and not to leave him financially in the lurch." Marriage teaching for him is just a product of Church history, which is why he also does not have to respect this.

"Spring Awakening in the Church" by Pope Francis

Pastor Preiß sees in  Pope Francis a "Spring awakening in the Church." In the new parish Journal 2 /2014 of the parish association, he writes: "Spring Awakening means that new impulses, the Sun of love and fertile rain of trust are also effective in the Church."   The new "Spring Awakening"  Preiß presents in direct connection with the Second Vatican Council, which had overcome "a 400-year long period of intransigence and control.". The Church's doctrine and its defense is reduced by the "disobedient" pastor to  "fears, institutional thinking, ideologies, stubbornness, habits, and questions of power." John XXIII. had  "reformed" the Church by the "vernacular", "people's altar", the "appreciation of laymen versus the Cleric (Priest) in the Church" and the "priesthood of all people." But then  "the reinforced rather re-enforced  reactionary forces."  Now, however, "only with Pope Francis, once again we hear other sounds from Rome."
The Austrian bishops returned from Rome "thrilled and full of praise." Cardinal Schönborn had admitted that they had yet  been too "timid" in Rome for "local church autonomy" and "decentralization". Preiss quotes the Cardinal with the words: "I struck    my bishop 's breast: We have surely trusted too little,  to say what our situation required and how we see things."  "A good, albeit late acknowledgment," says  the rebel Preiss who feels himself confirmed. According to Preiss also quotes the words of the Honduran Cardinal Maradiaga, who criticized  Cardinal Prefect Müller: "The world is my brother is not so. You should be a little flexible when you hear other voices. "

From "Carnival Mass" to "Homo-Liturgy"

For Pastor Preiß there is no Mass, but only "Worship". In  last March 2 he called on all "worshipers" to come "masked" as to the "Carnival Mass" because "God loves to laugh."
Url turns with his "service" to all of those who are "Excluded", he arbitrarily says. The "services" to be held "alternately in Kirchberg and St. Margaret" and  four times a year "on the first Sunday" in season. The first date is going to be 22 June at Kirchberg.

Holland's Bishops in Rome -- Holland's "Progressive" Direction "Manifesto" to Pope Francis

(Amsterdam) There are rumors on the progressive wing of the Catholic Church in the German speaking nations, that the Lower German Dutch are to be added. From theologians Manifesto "We want women Cardinals" about the uprising German Bishops and Ordinaries against the indissolubility of the marriage sacrament, on the demand for priestesses by the new President of the Superior Conference of Male Religious Communities in Austria, is immediately seconded by the President of the Association of Women's Orders of Austria to the memorandum Cologne Catholics for an anti-Meisner as the next Archbishop of Cologne, the bandwidth registers nervous twitches. The latter demand is reminiscent of the desire for an anti-Benedict XVI. as the new Pope. The bishops of the Netherlands are on an ad limina visit to Rome. These progressive groups have written a "manifesto" to Pope Francis, in which they make statements of support for the new head of the Church as a "defender" of the Church and of the Church's heritage. However, the ulterior motives are different.

Dissident Priest is on Sabbatical to Anglican Monastery for Year: Discipline?

Edit: since attacking the Church during the campaign on behalf of marriage which was promoted heavily by the Diocese, involving the prayer, expense and personal time by many in the Diocese, Father Bob Pierson O.S.B. had taken it upon himself to challenge traditional Church teaching and attack that campaign.

Father Pierson is a monk at the decaying Monastery of St. John's in Collegeville Minnesota who has done a lot of things he will one day have to answer for.

He has also been known for other offenses in the past, for example,  he resigned from his job as Campus Minister at Saint John's University when Pope Benedict announced new norms (which are generally ignored in most places) about formation for priests in the seminary, that they may not have deep seated problems with respect to homosexuality.

In the last year, he also hosted a naked retreat which would involve "touching". At the time, we felt that  it was the surfacing of one of the previous Abbot's methods of instruction for his novices, whom he insisted on interviewing in the nude.

Then, Pierson seems to have gotten himself banned from speaking in the Archdiocese of Minneapolis and St. Paul, where the Archbishop told him not to speak any longer in his jurisdiction, as a result of attacking the Archbishop's defense of marriage initiative.  That didn't stop Father Pierson from continuing to speak in other parts of the United Stats, and to use his Facebook page to promote his anti-Catholic agenda.

Now, Father Bob Pierson's Facebook page is down and he's on sabbatical for a year at an Anglican Monastery called Holy Cross in West Park, New York.  We hope that he decides not to return after his "sabbatical" and hope that his stay in Holy Cross becomes permanent, barring a dramatic road to Damascus of some kind for this persecutor of Christians.  It would be nice if it were more obvious that this was some part of a disciplinary action on the part of someone.  There's no indication it is, but hopefully, Pierson will follow through with his occasional threat and find the more doctrinally suitable, if unsound, Anglican communion his permanent home from now on.

Lou Ferrakhan Comes to Dissident Priest’s Chicago Parish

Edit: last week we noticed that the unstoppable Father Micheal Pfleger of Chicago had invited Louis Ferrakhan to his parish for an interfaith gathering on March 1st.  There is no sign of the ACLU or the SPLC and the usual professional whiners. Cardinal George at least has tacit approval of this event.   He wrote the following report in his usual understated way on his Facebook page:
Woke up just thanking God for His Goodness and Mercy this Morning! Minister Farrakhan gave such a Beautiful Message of Unity and Love last Night! He challenged us to come together and be made New in Christ! To lay down our weapons and use the gift of our Minds and Hearts. He reminded us of the Power of Light! I am so grateful for his friendship. He is my friend, my Brother and Mentor. I pray that the World will embraces his message and that we come together!
Famous quotes:

"White people are potential humans - they haven't evolved yet.”
 Philadelphia Inquirer, March 2000

"They [the Jews] are the greatest controllers of black minds, black intelligence. They write the scripts - the foolish scripts on television that our people portray. They are the movie moguls that feature us in these silly, degrading, degenerate roles.

"The great recording companies that portray our people in such a filthy and low-rating way, yet they would not allow such a man as Michael Jackson to say one word that they thought would besmirch their reputation, but they put us before the world as clowns and as purveyors of filth. No, I will fight that.”
Meet The Press interview, October 1998

"The Jews have been so bad at politics they lost half their population in the Holocaust. They thought they could trust in Hitler, and they helped him get the Third Reich on the road." Saviours' Day speech, Chicago, February 1998

"Of course, they [the Jews] have a very small number of people but they are the most powerful in the world, they have the power to do good and they have the power to do evil ... Now what do the Jews do best? Well, they have been the best in finance that the world has ever known …

"They finance a lot of stuff in the world, and there's nothing wrong with that, but they are not good politicians, they are the worst politicians because they don't recognise really their friends and as well their enemies ... " Saviours' Day speech, Chicago, February 1998

"It seems like being gay or whatever sin you wish to be a part of is okay ... but I have the duty to lift that gay person up to the standard to ask if they want to live the life that God wants them to or live the lifestyle that they want to live." Boston speech, August 1997

"I believe that for the small numbers of Jewish people in the United States, they exercise a tremendous amount of influence on the affairs of government ...Yes, they exercise extraordinary control, and black people will never be free in this country until they are free of that kind of control ... " Meet The Press interview, April 1997

"I don't own Hollywood. Who depicted black people? Who writes the books? Who writes the plays, the songs that make us look less than human? Do you mean to tell me that Jews have never done any evil to black people? …

"Were they not involved in the slave trade? Yes, they were ... and to the extent that they were involved, somebody has to bring them to account. And I believe that has fallen on me." Interview with New York Amsterdam News, January 1994

Dissident Priest Attacks Archbishop's Defense of Marriage

Edit: we'd reported earlier that Father Mark Tegeder, who is the pastor of a dissident parish in Minneapolis, Minnesota, just couldn't shut up about the Archbishop's work to defend marriage. Despite threats from the Archdiocese he keep his mouth closed, the Civil Rights priest believes he's on a quest.

Archbishop Nienstedt's been taking on the decadent Monastery of St. John's Abbey, demanding that Father Bob Pierson not speak in his Diocese, but what will become of Zen Garden Tegeder?

He says he's "uncomfortable", but apparently he's not uncomfortable enough. Traditionalist Catholic priests have been suspended and sent packing without their benefits, without anything more than unemployment for merely saying things that are Catholic but unpoular.

What will happen when a priest attempts to capture a popular, but morally depraved, movement but utters something uncatholic? Here's the article from "Princeton Eagle"
“Interestingly, though, we have also seen a sharp decline in the amount of politicking in churches (and all places of worship) over the last five years or so, which suggests that clergy have recognized the danger in mixing too much Caesar in place of God,” Campbell said in the email.
Minnesota pastors and religious leaders, while in general not dismissive of the idea that churches can be sullied through political activity, appraise the risks differently.
“I think we’re all uncomfortable,” Pastor Tegeder said.
But churches have always reacted to events in society, he said.
Martin Luther King, the great civil rights leader, came out of the African-American Baptist church.
He witnessed or presided at thousands of marriages, explained Tegeder, and it’s the commitment, not the sexes, that’s sacred.

Peruvian University Blames Opus Dei For its Woes

The only really cool thing about Davinci Code

Edit: We wish!

Sounds like people are starting to get fed up with all the false advertising.

Are you being legitimately accused of failing to live up to the mission statement of your organization and actively working, for your own reasons, to debase its stock in the cultural, artistic, intellectual and economic marketplace?

We know, let's blame a boogieman!

Btw, there's nothing wrong with the use of a flagella provided that  it is used under spiritual direction or as part of a religious order's disciplina.  It's not done so much to inflict pain,  but as a reminder and a spiritual exercise just like praying the rosary or kneeling before the Blessed Sacrament in the tabernacle of your local church as part of a healthy spiritual habitus.
(Reuters) - One of Peru's top universities says it thinks maneuvers by the conservative Roman Catholic group Opus Dei are behind the school's high-profile falling out with the Vatican.

In a dispute that could drag Peru and the Vatican into a diplomatic spat, the Catholic Church ordered the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP) in a July letter to drop the words "pontifical" and "Catholic" from the official name it has been using for more than 60 years.

The university, which was founded in 1917 and is widely regarded as the country's most progressive institution of higher education, has refused to comply with the order. The Vatican says it will press its case with Peru's foreign ministry.

Vatican representatives say they have spent years trying to persuade the university to comply with Church laws and that a large financial donation the school received should be managed in accordance with those.

For our part, we didn't know about the Opus Dei kid's show.  That would be awesome!  Give the coverage on the Spanish Civil War that no one actually learns about in school and tell the real story of Opus Dei and St. Josemaria in a matter of fact approach?

Out With The Bad in With The Good

Edit: The SSPX is in and Cardinal Bernardin's experiment in Church undermining is out.

Even Regensburg's Bishop calls them parasites.

Cardinal Schonborn might legitimize them by meeting with them and even secretly agreeing with their message and techniques, but they are increasingly finding that not all are welcome as this group below in the video, Minnesota's Call to Action knows.

Let us be serious, however,  we know the song and the billboard says "all are welcome", but is anyone who disagrees with their message of tolerance for sin and disobedience really welcome?

Bishop Morlino Defends His Conservative Priests

Edit: amazing that at least in this Diocese, in contrast to others, that faithful priests are being defended, even in this case where the dissident opposition is so strong that it cut donations in half and possibly resulted in the loss of the parish's school.

MADISON — Roman Catholic Bishop Robert Morlino is trying to quell a backlash against some conservative priests in Platteville by warning parishioners that they risk the possibility of being barred from sacraments such as communion, confession and burial.

A report Sunday said the warning came Wednesday in a five-page letter from Morlino to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Platteville.

The congregation has been roiled by opposition to the traditionalist priests, who arrived in June 2010. Donations are down by more than half since they arrived, and about 40 percent of the 1,200 members have signed a petition seeking the priests’ ouster, The church’s 77-year-old school is set to close June 1, a loss many parishioners blame on the collapse in donations.

Here's a scriptural passage cited by the Bishop::

“Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak the truth, each one to his neighbor, for we are
members one of another.  Be angry but do not sin; do not let the sun set on your anger, and do
not leave room for the devil…And do not grieve the holy Spirit of God, with which you were
sealed for the day of redemption.  All bitterness, fury, anger, shouting, and reviling must be
removed from you, along with all malice. [And] be kind to one another, compassionate,
forgiving one another as God has forgiven you in Christ.” (Eph 4:25-27, 30-32)

Father Mike Tegeder is Being Relieved of his Parish Duties

There is a controversial Minnesota Pastor at the Parish of St. Edwards who's been flaunting the authority of his employers for a very long time, as long as he's been a priest. He is responsible for having women come into the parish and preach the homily, which is not acceptable. Despite being asked not to do this by Archbishop Nienstedt, Father Mike refused to obey, he said, with the Devil himself, non serviam. The Wild Reed of Australia's going to have a panic meltdown after this. The resident dissident in favor of marriages involving other than a man and a woman has been cheering on the sidelines for Father Mike Tegeder for a long while

We've heard from the usual sources that Father Mike will at least be reassigned and probably won't be doing parish work any more.

There's been no comment from the Archdiocese so far.

We told you Father Mike was paddling into "dangerous pastoral waters".

But Father Mike's not the only one with Lay Preachers in the house.

Somewhere in Switzerland: Theologian complains about Benedict's success.

Somewhere in Switzerland, an elderly, EX-theologian ponders a cup of coffee laced with liberal amounts of Jägermeister and looks out of his window, reflectively like you'd expect an ex-theologian would, to those legendary Swiss Alps. Suddenly, the phone rings. He lays aside the copy of America Magazine and answers the phone.

"Hey, Hans. This is Mori, from your publisher Burns and Oats."

"Yes, hello."

"I need you to do something for me. I want you to write something about this Anglican Reunimaccallit."

"Ok. Have you sent my royalty check?"

There's a long pause.

"Don't worry, it should be there any day."

After about five minutes of effort, he hits the "send" key on his brand-new MacBook, as easyKüng99@yahoo.com and you can read it here:
