Meet the Liturgical Jacobins of Collegeville

Editor: the language of the Mass has never been anything but elevated and hieratic. But there are some, let's call them  Liturgical Jacobins.  Russel Kirk once described the automobile as the Mechanical Jacobin.  If we could describe the car that way, how would we describe the Mass as it's said in Collegeville?  Liturgical Jacobins don't really care about the democracy stuff. While they complain about this Missal change being imposed from above, they don't recall how the Novus Ordo Missae is in large part, a summation of Liturgical abuses by Liturgical Revolutionaries like Father Virgil Michel of Collegeville, Dom Beauduin, Pius Parch and the Infamous Bishop Annibale Bugnini,  imposed on the laity, most of whom didn't like it when it came out and correspondingly voted with their feet by leaving the Church entirely.

Boy, Ruff, instead of worrying about enforcing your Jacobinism on the unsuspecting remnant in the pews, you should be worried about whether or not there will be a Collegeville to spread poison and ugly art in the next twenty years.  With an average age of sixty seven, at least half of the "Monks" in the Modernist Monastery will be dead in the next ten years with very few incoming vocations to replace them.  Awww, no more bad art, bad music and Modernism.  It's sad too, because at one time, Collegeville housed many brilliant minds, some of them probably orthodox, if the late, great Tom Roeser and St. John's Alumnus can be believed.  Certainly, St. John's will never produce another scholarly politician like Eugene McCarthy.

If we can take the current decline in numbers at Collegeville as a democratic vote for the New Mass which the praytell.com types love so well, then really, "the People" don't really want the New Mass at all. Although Pat Marker at Pine Curtain singles out abuse as one of the primary factors, there's a deeper reason for the decline in the numbers of vocations.  It's the Modernism.  Otherwise, how do you account for the enormous numbers of religious entering religious houses since the beginning of the Nineteenth Century and after?  The revival coming after the French Revolution was not really checked until the spiritual malaise of the Second World War and the dramatic debacle of the Second Vatican Council, which opened the windows and doors of the Church, it is said, and everyone left, mostly never to return.

It isn't the very rare but glaring and evil evidence of sexual predators lurking on the outskirts of the Pine Curtain, it's the Modernism, the Liberalism infested in the minds of the Monks that lead many to believe that there are no punishments, in this life or the next, for their crimes.   Indeed, the only punishment most are suffering are the diseases related to old age, very soft living and the starchy fare they consume in quantity in the Refectory.

Rot Visible from Ten Thousand Feet

COLLEGEVILLE — Change is never easy, and come November, it’s going to get harder for some Catholics to celebrate Mass.

The implementation of the English translation of the third typical edition of the Roman Missal will be “the biggest single moment of change for Catholics who worship in English in the 40 years since the revisions of the liturgy which followed Vatican II,” according to a lecture last week to the Church Music Association of America by Monsignor Andrew Wadsworth.

“The Missal is basically the prayer book for Mass, with all of the texts that are said by the priest or congregation,” said the Rev. Anthony Ruff, associate professor of theology at St. John’s University and School of Theology/Seminary.

Let the Crow Eating Begin: Bishop Defends the Great Corapi

I do not know thee, depart from me...

Editor: A lot of people have been drawn in to the abuse craze and the abuse-hoax here by working wittingly or otherwise to perpetuate and substantiate stupidity of these uncanonical and therefore unjust zero tolerance polices. All you need is an accusation to suspend someone. So, some anonymous person makes a phone call, and all of a sudden, boom, Father McBrien is out of a job teaching at Notre Dame? Well, I'm sure that if Father McBrien were accused of abuse, the application of the procedure would be very different.

This whole thing is dishonest and people shouldn't be surprised when the special pleading the Bishops have been engaging in for the last forty-plus years comes back to haunt them.

Don't mean to pick too much on Mark Shea. He still thinks Father Corapi violated his vows, but at least he apologized. His vitriol has been pretty typical of a lot of people who should know better, like here. Anyhow, some people are going to eat their crow for being unreasonable and others aren't.

And speaking of dishonesty, "Catholic" Online can't even get the story straight. Father Corapi isn't leaving the Church. Last time we checked, Catholic Online was stealing an artist's work and not crediting them with it.

Here's a great response to clear up some of the "hoo-ha" in this "kerfluffle":

Great Pyrenees Sheep Dog Guarding the Flock

FIRST OF ALL LET ME ESTABLISH THAT I HAVE NOT SPOKEN WITH FATHER CORAPI.
The fact that he has chosen the nom de plume of The Black Sheep Dog is revealing:  he cares for the flock of sheep he has been ministering to all these years, sheep that he well knows are of the Lord’s flock, not his.
As a suspended priest he cannot function publicly as a priest, but he can continue to evangelize as long as he does not present himself to the public as a priest.
Every baptized person is given the obligation of being a witness to the truth, of being an evangelizer.  In Father Corapi’s case, the obligation is all the greater in view of the gift of the sacramental priesthood he has been given.  Prevented (hopefully only temporarily) from exercising that priesthood in a public manner during his suspension, he is aware of his obligation to be a witness to the truth and to continue to evangelize.  He evidently intends to do so until his suspension is lifted not as Father John Corapi but as The Black Sheep Dog.

Eucharistic Adoration is a Vatican Emphasis: Catholic News Consults Father McBrien

Editor: Vatican News Service has termites working in it. Asking Father McBrien about the Eucharist is like asking Ronald McDonald what he thinks of the healthfood. Catholic journalists who site him should be put under interdict, handed over to the secular arm, whipped and thrown into the dungeon.

Why can't Father McBrien find a  real job doing something else rather than the destructive and unhelpful job he's doing now as a "theologian".

[VNS] At the same time, however, some theologians object to adoration as outdated and unnecessary, and warn that it can lead to misunderstandings and undo decades of progress in educating lay Catholics on the meaning of the sacrament.
Monsignor Kevin W. Irwin, dean of the School of Theology and Religious Studies at the Catholic University of America, said Eucharistic adoration by the laity originated in the 13th century as a substitute for receiving Communion at Mass.
At the same time, he said, the church often encouraged a believer's sense of "personal unworthiness" to receive the sacrament -- which Catholics believe to be the body of Christ -- so many resorted to so-called "ocular communion" instead.
Eucharistic adoration was also used as a teaching tool to reaffirm the doctrine of the "real presence" of Christ in the Eucharist, said the Rev. Richard P. McBrien, a noted theologian at the University of Notre Dame.
For instance, McBrien said, devotion grew during the 16th- and 17th-century Counter-Reformation, in response to the arguments of some Protestant Reformers that the Eucharist was merely a symbol, not the actual body of Christ.
In the days when priests celebrated Mass in Latin with minimal participation by the congregation, the hymns and prayers associated with adoration gave lay Catholics an opportunity for public worship, Irwin said.
Liturgical reforms after Vatican II greatly increased the laity's participation at Mass, which Irwin said satisfied the "felt need for participation in public prayer." Irwin called that an "underlying reason" for the practice's decline.

"Theologian" Lies About Her Work to Bishops

Editor:  Of course Cardinal Wuerl's all-too mild admonitions of this Nun are accurate.  These power junkies will do anything to maintain their merciless Old Liberal grip on Catholic children and students.

Here's some more back ground on her deeds from Father Z.  And here's another link that will defend her from America.  And finally, here's where the Bishops are urging Catholic schools not to carry her perfidious books from Huffington Post.
By Dennis Sadowski
Catholic News Service

WASHINGTON (CNS) -- Fordham University systematic theology professor Sister Elizabeth A. Johnson defended her 2007 book that recently came under harsh criticism from the U.S. bishops' Committee on Doctrine, restating concerns that her work was "thoroughly misunderstood and consistently misrepresented" by the committee.

Her vigorous defense of "Quest for the Living God: Mapping Frontiers in the Theology of God" came in a 38-page letter June 1 to committee members, reported National Catholic Reporter. The newspaper said it received a copy of her correspondence from a source not affiliated with the university.

Capuchin Franciscan Father Thomas Weinandy, executive director of the Secretariat for Doctrine of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, told Catholic News Service June 8 the doctrine committee was expected to discuss Sister Elizabeth's response when the bishops meet June 15-17 near Seattle in Bellevue, Wash.

Soylent Green is REAL

Editor: the Frankenstein labs have come up with a trick out of science fiction to help solve world hunger.  There was a famous film called, "Soylent Green".  It's a film based on a novel called, Make Room! Make Room!, by Harry Harrison describing a dystopic future where the world is driven to starvation because of malthusian-like overpopulation.  Despite the fact that the malthusian thesis has not come to pass, our masters have decided to get us interested in marketing some exiting ideas related to cannibalism.

Here's the link to the story on lifesite, news...

A pro-life group that monitors the use of cells from babies victimized by abortions is today highlighting a biotech company, Senomyx, which it says produces artificial flavor enhancers using aborted fetal cell lines to test their products.
The group Children of God for Life is calling for a public boycott of major food companies partnering with Senomyx.
Debi Vinnedge, the director of the pro-life organization, tells LifeNews.com today that, in 2010, her group wrote to Senomyx CEO Kent Snyder and pointed out that moral options for testing their food additives could and should be used. But when Senomyx ignored her letter, the group  wrote to the companies Senomyx listed on their website as “collaborators” warning them of public backlash and threatened boycott. They included food giants PepsiCo, Kraft Foods, Campbell Soup, Solae and Nestlé. (See update below.)

Larger viewStudy: Few women advancing to top positions in Minn. companies

by Martin Moylan, Minnesota Public Radio
April 1, 2011

St. Paul, Minn. — A St. Catherine University study has found women are making little progress in winning seats on Minnesota corporate boards or moving into the executive suite.
The study found women hold only about 14 percent of the available seats on the boards of Minnesota's 100 biggest public companies. That's in line with the findings of the researchers' studies done in 2008 and 2009.
Professor Rebecca Hawthorne said CEOs have to do more to see that women advance up the corporate ladder

Progressive Theologian Being Given Ultimatum

Editor: The Maryknolls will finally be forced to boot dissenting Father Roy Bourgeois if he doesn't recant his opposition to Church teaching. No doubt there will be complaints about medievalisms and draconian tactics from oppressive Rome, but it's only fair since people like Father Bourgeois have been oppressing their students and seminarians with their arbitrary and irrational non-sense for more than two hundred years in the Catholic Church.

RELIGIOUS REALITY CHECK

buy microsoft office 2010 home and professional oem download March 30, 2011

Catholic League president Bill Donohue offers a religious reality check based on some news items from today:

Bart Ehrman doesn't believe in God, which is why he is just the right guy to teach religion at the University of North Carolina. A member of the "Jesus Seminar," a motley crew of religious cynics, he wants us to view the Bible with great skepticism. But not his writings—we should all swallow his dogmatic convictions. His latest book contends that the Bible is a forgery, though he is unable to identify who the cheaters are. Unfortunately for Bart, it was just reported that Biblical scholars believe they have uncovered a collection of ancient texts in a Jordanian cave that may constitute the earliest Christian writings.

Patrick S. Cheng is a seminary professor who also needs a reality check. His brilliance shines in the Huffington Post: he argues that "Christianity is queer because radical love lies at the heart of both Christianity and the queer experience." Perhaps he should read Leviticus.

Fr. Roy Bourgeois has had three years to recant his opposition to the Catholic Church's teachings on criteria for the priesthood. If he doesn't do so in 15 days, the Maryknolls will be forced to kick him out. This will no doubt please him, which is why there will be no reality check.

This is Your Church on Modernism. Any Questions?

Editor: People indifferent and lackadaisical about Catholicism. People are leaving the Catholic Church in droves. Why not, people need the truth and many administrators have hijacked Catholic education and turned it inside out. "Truth, what's that," they say.

No interest in the religious life. Religious life can be a tremendous sacrifice. Many exemplaires of religious life, however, seem to be little more than overly comfortable academics and social workers.

This is all part of the auto-destruction of the Church, or "church-sponsored" suicide.

Wow, seventy percent of people don't believe in Real Presence...Wow.

Voris spells it out:

Bishop Calls for a New Syllabus

"Keeping in mind the now decades-long experience of interpretations that are doctrinally and pastorally mistaken and contrary to the bimillennial continuity of the doctrine and prayer of the faith, there thus arises the necessity and urgency of a specific and authoritative intervention of the pontifical magisterium for an authentic interpretation of the conciliar texts, with supplementation and doctrinal clarifications; a sort of "Syllabus" of the errors in the interpretation of Vatican Council II.

There is the need for a new Syllabus, this time directed not so much against the errors coming from outside of the Church, but against the errors circulated within the Church by supporters of the thesis of discontinuity and rupture, with its doctrinal, liturgical, and pastoral application.
Such a Syllabus should consist of two parts: the part that points out the errors, and the positive part with proposals for clarification, completion, and doctrinal clarification."

Humorous Forms For the New Liturgy: Architectural Modernism

Editor: Bewildering, but not surprising. Notice how the indeterminate forms and bare spaces can accomodate ambiguity and foster religious indifferntism, that erroneous idea that all religions are equal.  This space could accommodate practically any event, a blood drive, a barmitzva, an autopsy, a house closing, almost anything, that is, except for the Mass of All Ages.

An Old Liberal Bishop has rolled out a wire table for the believers in a stilted presentation.

New Table in the Hospital Chapel in Klagenfurt

(kreuz.net, Klagenfurt) The Old Liberal Bishop Alois Scharz von Gurk has blessed a newly constructed hospital chapel in the city of Klagenfurt population 94.000.  The Diocese reported this from its press office at the beginning of December.  [Ho-ho-ho]

Klagenfurt am Wörtersee is the capital of Kärnten.

Bishop Schwarz took this opportunity to  consecrate a wire table, which could pass for a counter top.

The metal construction was designed by Architect Dietmar Feichtinger, who had planned the entire clinic.

The humorous form will serve as a table for the New Mass.

The Bishoip used the rite with oil, incense and fire -- which could have been used for an actual altar -- also for the wire table.

Every Wire Strand is an Apostle

For his Sermon, Bishop Schwarz dared a comical allusion.

The twelve wire strands which are fastened to the counter, represent in the tortured imagination of the Bishop, the Twelve Apostles:

"The close circle of friends around Jesus held this house and that table, on which the bread was broken and the wine, the blood of Christ served as the redemption of the world," he mystified.

According to the witness of the Gospel, there was only one apostle under the Cross -- namely John -- usually.

A Symbol of the New Desolation

The bare chapel was described by Bishop Schwarz as "sanctified and sanctifying place of the power of God".

He also thanked the alleged artist, Karl Brandstätter, the one who can be blamed for the inarticulate window glass in the desolate room.

The Bishop explained that people would find "the Savior" in that bare room.

"There are many people who have access to God, some, who seek him, som, who speak with him, without knowing who he is, and some, who still don't know him that he seeks, the God of their life"  -- testified Msgr Schwarz Soundwave.

On Thankfulness in the Christmas Season. Is Pray Tell a Catholic Blog?

While we’ll probably never know why, the liberal Benedictine blog run by our *friends* in Collegeville has removed the post on the blasphemous and sacrilegious “adaptation” of a traditional Catholic hymn to contemporary “lyrics.” EF covered the story here:

Scripture says that whenever a sinner repents, all heaven rejoices, so we should as well. Indeed, we must also rejoice in this holy season that the Holy See has held back the deluge of “liberal” “liturgy” that would otherwise ensue if the “liturgists” at Collegeville were free of Roman oversight. For a particularly horrid example of what they would concoct, take a look at what their Coreligionists have done to Presbyterian worship:

Having mentioned protestant worship, we ought to ask if Pray Tell is a Catholic blog. While Catholic Benedictines started it and are obsessed with the improved translation of the Roman Missal, the blog’s description does not use the word “Catholic” to describe itself. Perhaps it’s just a “catholic” blog.

So when a Lutheran contributor wrote about the last O Antiphon, should we be surprised?

Weakland Appointed Seminary Rector Attacks Church's Teachings

The head rots from the fish down and bad appointments of Bishops yield bad results and this former Seminary rector is now in charge of a parish.  He was appointed by Archbishop Weakland..  Archbishop Weakland himself was a favorite of Paul VI.   Not only does the Seminary rector, Father Victor Capriolo suffer from deficiencies in theology, but he suffers from deficiencies in his knowledge of human nature as well:

I am aware also that Saint Paul says the various distinctions we use to categorize and divide one another are not appropriate for the Church. “There does not exist among you Jew or Greek, slave or free, male or female.” (Galatians 3:28).
I’m sure women can relate well to their belonging to the Church as the bride of Christ; but, I wonder, how can men do that? As baptized members of the Church, men are part of the Body of Christ; but can they see themselves as the bride of Christ?
If the body of Christ is both male and female, I wonder … if there were both male and female priests as head of the Church, then that spousal image of Christ and his Church would make better sense for both men and women.

"Catholic" Blog Defends David Berger's Homosexual Deception

Homosexual friendly clergy at "Pray, Tell" blog, hosted by some priests at a Modernist Monastery in the Midwest are focused like laser beams on what a dishonest homosexual activist from Germany and former theologian has to say about the Catholic Church and Its legitimate aspirations.  Berger's already accused the Church of hypocrisy about Its position about sodomy, why doesn't he join St. John's Abbey and all the other liberals who pose as Catholics and found their own religion?  It's ironic indeed that one of the largest centers of homosexual predators in the country if not the world also hosts a website concerned about the sexual health of Traditionalist priests.

Speaking of aspirations, Berger is enjoying almost universal praise from the anti-Catholic press.  The bloggers there, after insisting they are very familiar with Berger's work are very defensive of the homosexual charlatan.  If they ever met at St. John's Abbey for a conference, you can be assured there'd be a mutual admiration society set up.  One of the homosexual enabling blog's commenters complained that he didn't know what Berger's "professional" status in the Catholic Church is.  Well, Berger still teaches at a Catholic high school in Germany and like a lot of schools who hire active homosexuals either knowingly or unknowingly often refuse to fire them even after they've proven themselves to be less than honest.

Father Ruff rises to Berger's defense, insisting that he's read the deceptive German sodomite:

Fr. Allan, if you haven’t read the book by Berger, perhaps you should step back from comparing it with Michael Rose’s book.

Berger is a bright theologian (doctorate in the field). I’m not so sure that Michael Rose even claims to be a theologian. Rose holds that homosexual orientation and homosexual people is the problem. We need “good men” again. Berger, rather, discusses the problematic ways people do or don’t deal with their orientation. I think this is a significant difference. I find the former homophobic, but not the latter.

I wouldn’t lump Berger and Rose together.

Yes, the latter is a lying homosexual poser, a confidence man who admitted to winning over people in Traditionalist circles to earn income while he  was living in a homosexual relationship with hiis "partner".  The former is an honorable man and was very accurate about what was going on at the Louvain, which at the latest had abandoned its Catholic identity and will be closing out in any case, due to a lack of interest in what they have to offer.

Another blog contributor, Father Cody Unterseher is worried that this histrionic creature's book won't continue being carried by Ave Maria Press, thanks Cody:

One wonders if Sapientia Press of Ave Maria University will be courageous enough to keep Berger’s little book Thomas Aquinas & the Liturgy in print. It’s an very useful contribution, and I’d hate to see it fall victim to unnecessary and unhelpful suppression.

Vienna's Pastoral Office in the Hands of Left Feminist

The old Liberal Cardinal of Vienna is promoting an old Liberal Church functionary, who is associated with the anti-Church group "We Are Church".  The anti-Catholic media bosses will praise her.

Christoph Kardinal Schönborn
Christoph Kardinal Schönborn
(kreuz.net, Wien)Today on the feast of the Immaculate Conception, Christoph Cardinal Schönborn of Vienna has made some of his personal decisions known.

The old Liberal Vienna Regent, Secular Priest Nikolaus Krasa will be the new General Vicar.

Fr. Krasa is a passionate mountain climber. [sounds dangerous]

He proceeded to terminated his position in 'Press Service of the Archdiocese of Vienna", to continue on in the old Liberal line of his predecessors.

The old liberal Viennese Subregent, Fr. Richard Tatzreiter, follows Father Krasa as Regent.

Fr. Tatzreiter was recently promoted as the supposed result of "collegiality" of priests.

Finally the Cardinal named the old Liberal Pastoral Theologian Veronika Prüller-Jagenteufel as the new director of the Pastoral Office.

The current old Liberal director, Fr. Michael Scharf, will be the Spiritual Assistant to the Pastoral Office.

Everything is on a Course in the Direction of Decline

With the naming of Mrs Prüller-Jagenteufel, Cardinal Schönborn has established a decisive course to put women in positions of responsibility normally held by clerics.

Already, women head the Financial Office, the Office of Schools, the Business and Accounting Departments of the Archdiocese of Vienna in the old Liberal decline.

Mrs. Prüller-Jagenteufel worked as Assistent and received her credentials studying under the anti-Church Viennese Pastoral Theologian, Fr. Paul Micheal Zulehner.

She was decisively involved with the preparation and execution of the Cardinal's anti-Church penance and protest liturgy with anti-Catholic Society, "We Are Church" in the Spring of 2009.

The event served to play up the infrequent homosexual abuses of children in the ecclesiastical area.

Initially, Mrs. Prüller-Jagenteufel's wished for proposal "a 'date of foundation' in the Church":

"We could confront the necessary institutional deconstruction anti-cyclically with many initiatives, experiments, community foundings and departures"  -- the Pastoral Theologian varnishes the the destruction of parishes.

Jesuit: "I Am a Religious Atheist"

Austria. Christendom must become "atheistic and religionless".  This was said by the old Liberal Jesuit, Father Roger Charles Lenaers (85), at a lecture in Vienna according to a report of the Linz commerce website, 'kath.net'.   The old man is active in the parish of Vorderhornbach in the Diocese of Innsbruck.  Religion consists in a thin flow of experience for the Jesuit that the human intellect can't grasp entirely and is hidden behind an experiential "something":  "Because of this I am a deeply religious atheist."

No SSPX Priests Allowed in Vienna's Cathedral Book Store

The New Book About "Hetzendorf" by Publisher 'Facultas'
Today a book was ordered in Vienna, that didn't just bring the local Archdiocese to snort.  The first drops of sweat are flowing.

(kreuz.net, Wien) This evening Heidemarie Seblatnig presented her new book "Hetzendorf and the Iconoclasim of the Second Half of the 20th Century" in Vienna according to neo-Conservative videosite 'gloria.tv'.

Mrs Seblating has been a university lecturer at the Institute for Architectural Science at Technischen Universität Wien.

Her book contains selections from nine authors.  Within the most recent iconoclastic attack on the Catholic Church is dealt with, which has raged since the 50s.

The seminarian Michael Wimmer addressed the Iconoclasm as the rejection of ecclesiastical identity.

The Italian architect Ciro Lomonte asserted in his selection that the forms of expression in modern architecture do not work with Catholic Liturgy.

The aesthetic and institutional back ground of the late historical church building has been dealt with by Viennese Art Historian Inge Scheidl.

Under the provocative title "Altar Lights on the Firewood Crate" the Art Historian Mario Schwarz is also included in the volume.

The German Historian, Publisher and Luther researcher Gerhard Scuder writes about Martin Luther and his one of the causes of modern Iconoclasm.

Other authors are from the German Oratorian Father Uwe Michael Lang of the Congregation for Liturgy and the new Bavarian Cardinal Walter Brandmüller.

I Had to Wait Outside

Already the pre-history of this relevant and captivating book shows its explosive force.

The books should have been introduced in the Viennese Cathedral book store -- in the immediate vicinity of the Cathedral of St. Stephen.

Mrs. Seblatnig had won the Dogmatic Theologian of the Society of Pius X., Father Matthias Gaudron, as a consultant  for the book's presentation
.
Actually, then the Cathedral book store scrubbed the entire book presentation. Because of the Christmas business it basically can't give any more book presentations.

According to 'gloria.tv' the old Liberal Viennese Auxiliary Bishiop Helmut Krätzl is presenting his new hate book against the Church in the Cathedral bookstore.

Mrs Seblating was forced then to give the book presentation in the Schottenstift in the City Center.

Note: Hetzendorf was once the hunting lodge of the Hapsburgs.  It's now being used by a fashion school.

David Berger -- Will Homosexual be Fired as Religion Instructor?

The homosexual theologian has been fulminating for days against the teaching of the Church and is also attempting to justify his "homosexual-life" -- A speaker for the Archdiocese offers that matter at this point being arranged "is still in process".

Cologne (kath.net)  Will the contentious Cologne theologian David Berger leave his job as Catholic religion instructure, after he has been outed for months now as a practicing homosexual and having lived a double life for years?  In the Archdiocese of Cologne at this time a kath.net inquiry has been informed, "the entire matter at point being arranged "is still in process", exlained a speaker to kath,.net.

Berger has been publishing for some days his obscure theses to the media.  A very unfounded thesis for example was told to "Spiegel":  "It must be made known that a large number of Catholic priests and seminarians in Europe and the United States are homosexually inclined."  Berger is to this date still the religion teacher and German teacher at Ville-Gymnasium in Efstadt.

Kath.net then offers the Catechism and several citations from Holy Scripture: [Genesis 19, 1-29, Romans 1,24-27; 1 Corinthians 6,10; 1 Timothy 1,10]  They repudiate the natural law, because the propagation of life is closed to such a sex act.  They do not have a true and affective sexual maturity.  They are not in any case to be sanctioned.

Reds at USCCB Continue to Promote "Disarmament"

In a tip of the cheese hat to /Antonio Gramsci, the gathered Catholic Bishops continue to undermine their homeland, their Church and the families they are sworn to protect.  Some people perhaps thought that there would be a major change, how wrong you were. Now Bishop Hubbard of the scandal ridden and heretical Albany Diocese is "peacemaking" in the Bernardinian style. How Bishop Hubbard has a job, much less how he's able to dictate to the United States how it should defend itself simply boggles the mind. So, not only is he running interference for homosexuals, posing as priests so they can prey on the young, but he's trying to prevent your homeland from defending itself from nuclear destruction.  Hey, do you really think it's a good idea to send money to your Archdiocese?

Archbishop Dolan, Bishop Hubbard Voice Bishops’ Support for Ratification of Nuclear Arms Reduction Treaty
WASHINGTON (November 30, 2010)—The new president of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) and the chairman of the U.S. bishops’ Committee on International Justice and Peace have urged the United States Senate to ratify the New START Treaty. The treaty, signed by President Obama and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on April 8, would reduce the nuclear arsenals of both countries by 30 percent.

“The Church’s concern for nuclear weapons grows out of its commitment to the sanctity of human life,” wrote Bishop Howard J. Hubbard of Albany, New York, in a November 29 letter to the Senate. “Consistent with Catholic teaching, the Holy See and the U.S. bishops have long supported reducing the number of nuclear armaments, preventing their spread to other nations, and securing nuclear materials from terrorists. For decades they have promoted the twin and interrelated policy goals of nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation. We understand this is an ideal that will take years to reach, but it is a task which our nation must take up with renewed energy.”

Father Altier is Back on Line After Imposed Exile

He didn't learn to preach like this at Saint Paul Seminary
Father Altier's sermons can be heard here.  He's finally back on line after being silenced by the old Liberal Archbishop Harry Flynn for speaking out against the Diocesan indemnification program, "Talking About Touching".

It would be nice to hear Father back on Relevant Radio again since while he was on it, it actually sounded like a Catholic radio station as it somewhat misleadingly represents itself to be.

Back in 2006, Father Altier was indeed unjustly silenced and relegated to a funeral home assignment, despite the very liberal Dennis McGrath's claims to the contrary:

Father had indeed frequently and inappropriately (if not disobediently) criticized the archbishop and archdiocesan leaders (and not simply on the VIRTUS child protection/education program). The archbishop responded to that request by Father Altier with a kind and non-confrontational letter directing him to take a break from his radio and web site commentaries to concentrate on his pastoral work. There was no 'silencing' or 'censuring' involved.

Aside: Meanwhile, Pro-Homosexual priests like Father Tibesar, Father Tegeder and Fr. John Bauer are priests in good standing in the Archdiocese to this very day.  There have been no apparent attempts to discipline them. In fact Fr. John Bauer was even entrusted to close down the Traditional Latin Mass Center of St. Augustine's without much adieu from the comfort of his Soho digs near the Purple Basilica where the parish officially promotes the normalization of homosexuality at Gay Pride every year.

If it is true that as the Church teaches that it is a disgrace for a man to lie with a man and that sodomy is a "sin which cries out to heaven for justice", why is it that one of the Archdiocese few orthodoxy priests who meekly submits to the authority of his wicked Bishop, isn't more forcefully reproved, but is indeed tolerated and even encouraged?

Pope's New Bishop in Basel is a Disaster

This is what happens to you when you study Wittgenstein, you turn into an eternal graduate student, then you make ridiculous and inflammatory statements to the press that aren't Catholic like the new Bishop designate of Basel just did.

The drama continues, as the new Bishop of Basel says some wacky things, on rorate, here.
