Two Things Move Vienna's Cardinal: Fear and Praise

What is the main problem of the Old Liberal "Pastor's Initiative" in the view of the Cardinal?  They have sounded their reputation far beyond Austria.

(kreuz.net, Wien) The Old Liberal 'Pastor's Initiative' has done enormous damage to the Austrian Church in the Catholic milieu worldwide.

The Old Liberal Cardinal, Christoph von Schönborn explained, according to the news agency, 'kathpress".

Apparently, the Cardinal meant to identify the "Austrian Church" with his own reputation.

A life for the headlines

The Authors of the "Call to Disobedience" do not appreciate the damage they have caused.

The Cardinal put that in for appearance's sake.

There were international headlines like: "Difficulties in Austria."

Or, "Church in Austria in Crisis", "Church in Austria on the Brink of Schism" and:  "Priests call for disobedience."

The Cardinal is concerned about outer appearances

The Cardinal considers the effects of the 'Pastor's Initiative' as an "unbelievably negative input" in the "Church image" of Austria.

He stayed with these formulations which stay so closely the superficialities which are so important to him.

He actually holds the imaginary problems of the 'Pastor's Initiative' for real.

He only wants to undertake "solutions in other directions".

At the same time, the Cardinal wants to take "headwinds" -- as long as they come from the Old Liberal side -- "in a sporting way":

"Without the wind there is no sailing, and when contrary winds occur there has to be some shifting, that is creative or inspiring."

In Vienna everything goes -- unless it's Catholic

The Cardinal signaled his full support with the usual weaselly vocabulary.

It requires "workable solutions" with the world Church.

Cardinal von Schönborn encouraged the Old Liberals to examine closely what has happened in order to see what "has already happened and what also can be done."

It has already happened that prominent Vienese adulterers have had their union blessed with the agreement of the Cardinal and have thus been confirmed in their mortal sin.

Other adulterers could add themselves in the great churches of Vienna.

On the other hand, the Archdiocese denied a Priest of the Society of St. Pius X from saying his first Mass at a Viennese church, although the parish pastor had requested permission.

The Germans praise Austria's wheelchair reform

The Cardinal shows that his "reform process" is an apparent break.

This has especially caught the attention of the -- Old Liberal -- German Bishops, he said, discrediting himself.

A central figure of his church regime is the person he appointed to be Director of the Pastoral Office, Veronika Veronika Prüller-Jagenteufel.

She is a declared feminist ideologue and student of the long arm of the media bosses, Father Micheal Zuhehner.

Holy Father's Brother Intervenes in Austria

Msgr Ratzinger and the Author

The silent cry of the abortion victims reach God -- but not on the ears of the Catholic Bishops.

by Dr. Josef Preßlmayer

(kreuz.net)Msgr Georg Ratzinger could end the cooperation of the Church in Austria with the mass murder of unborn children.

This was from a talk which took place on Monday on 5. December, in Regensburg with the brother of the Pope.

The Prelate will make his annual visit to see is brother from the 28th of December to the 10th.

This will be an opportunity for him to report to the Pope, that the Austrian Diocese collaborate with the "abominable crime of abortion"(Gaudium et spes, 61).

It do this with the openly deadly counsel of 'Aktion Leben', which  employ the  final solution deadline and are massively supported by the Bishops materially and financially.

Even Prelate Gänswein will be present

Prelate Ratzinger will also talk with the Papal Secretary, Prelate George Gänswein.  I have also sent my information about the scandal.

From this, the Holy Father will learn that this is a petition from "Catholics who are pro-life in stead of pro-choice" with exhaustive documentation.

The Infamous Law

The 'Aktion Leben  Österreich' is supporting the final solution deadline in contradiction to Catholic teaching.

This allows the slaughter of children up to the   14th week of life.

If it is suspected that a child is handicapped or if the mother has valid health reason or when she is not 14 years old, then the child can be murdered..

John Paul II. demanded Resistance

In his Encyclical 'Evangelium Vitae', 73, Pope John Paul II († 2005) called for resistance against the final solution deadline:

Abortion and euthanasia are thus crimes which no human law can claim to legitimize. There is no obligation in conscience to obey such laws; instead there is a grave and clear obligation to oppose them by conscientious objection. From the very beginnings of the Church, the apostolic preaching reminded Christians of their duty to obey legitimately constituted public authorities (cf. Rom 13:1-7; 1 Pet 2:13-14), but at the same time it firmly warned that "we must obey God rather than men"(Acts 5:29).
Austria's 'Aktion Leben' recommends the the killing pill RU 486. They refer to the child slaughterhouse of abortionist Christian Fiala in Salzburg or they point to the Fleischmarkt slaughterhouse in Vienna in the following words: "In Vienna, it's known, there is a butcher who can do the job." The Diocese supports these consultants for these slaughterhouses with ten thousand euros every year.

'Aktion Leben' insults abortion victims

'Aktion Leben' challenges the scientifically known and noted in the "Documented Patient Brochure" that there are physical and psychological effects of abortion

This spearhead of Catholic child murder ridicules the mothers, who must suffer an abortion, with the supposition on their website, that such effects are the "fabrications of radical groups".

These business fronts for Satan discredit  themselves.

Otherwise, they don't even fulfill the criteria which are required for pregnancy conflict counselors.

Fasting For 100 Tagen

After the return of Prelate Ratzinger from Rome I will visit him again.

Then I will learn which measures the Holy Father will take, so that the Church will no longer be soiled by the blood of unborn children.

I am certtain that I can then break my prayer fast in front of Vienna's Nunciature. At the present moment I have gone from 71 to 49 kilos after 100 days.

 The Collaboration Must Cease

I also ask for more prayers and if possible fasting, that this butchery and collaboration of the Church with these hired executioners can be ended.

I do this in the name of the name of the children martyred in their mother's wombs.

This silent cry goes to God's ear, but not to the ear of the Catholic bishops.

The Church is deceiving mothers of abortion

The murder of the unborn is euphemized by the Vienna church paper, 'Der Sontag'.

They wrote on 13. September 2009: "A goal for the introduction of the deadline ruling was to give pregnant women in an emergency a medically safe way to abort."

Such formulations cloud the truly criminal character of such an act.

The Church is opening the gates of Hell to those mothers who choose abortion.

Three Million Victims

In Austria there are 84,000 abortions conducted every year.

That amounts to over three million unborn children lost to abortion in thirty six years.

Through this our land and all of Europe will be handed over to Islam by way of this Auschwitz ramp of multi-million baby-selection according to the criteria of usefulness.

Please support the Pope-petition at 'kath-prolife.at', if you still haven't done so.

Austrian Leftists Cover up Massive Abuse Scandal

Edit: It's an amazing structure. It has housed the Vienna Boys Choir and children who were concentration camp victims. The leftist press isn't talking for obvious reasons.

Coverup:  for almost two long days 'orf.at' -- the website of the former Nazi "Reichsender" Vienna -- reported absolutely nothing, that means not even one line.

The Left is Silent About Real Child Abuse

(kreuz.net) In Austria, the biggest pedophile scandal in the history of the nation has been uncovered.

As expected the crime has been overlooked by the leftist sex-crazed comrades.

Prostitution Operation in Girls' Home

The leftist pedophiles organized a prostitution business in the Vienna castle of Wilheminenburg-- which was operated as a Girls' Home from 1961 to 1976.

On the contrary the left media bosses -- who have been outraged by the ecclesiastical trifles -- are now as meek as cripples.

A reader 'Logos" informs in the comments of an article on the website 'andreas-unterberger.at':

"Almost two days long and 'orf.at' [Former Nazi "Reichsender" Vienna] has reported nothing, that means not even a single line"  -- he revealed.

Since the coverup wasn't working, Reichsender has changed its strategy.

"Now their new headline is: >>Doubt about Accusations of Abuse<< -- wrote 'Logos'.

He continued:  "That belongs in the instruction manual of manipulation."

Caning is worse than Rape for the Left

'Logos' recalled then that the caning administered by a priest of Vorarlberg and similar cases were in the headlines for days and entitled with words like "crime" and "sex abuse".

Church representatives had to appear to justify themselves while still portrayed as "guilty" or were at least called out as defendants.

'Logos' asks, if that would have happened to Austrian Chancellor, Comrade Werner Faymann or Vienna's Mayor, Comrade Micheal Häupl.

Child Murderer to Child Murderers

'Logos' also mentioned the anti-Church website 'diepresse.at'.

He wanted to post the fact that the National Socialist Child-enthusiast, Heinrich Gross († 2005), was a member of the SPÖ after the war:  "Not publicly censured!"

Reader 'Logos' stressed that child murderers  found a "logical home" after 1945 in the Socialist Party.

The SPÖ-Friends of Youth

He recalled the other comrades in the company of the SPÖ- Friends of Youth.

-Comrade Julius Tandler († 1936) employed himself in the destruction or sterilization of "unworthy lives".

-Comrade Otto Mühl (86) busied himself as an SPÖ-promoted action painter and was condemned for molesting boys and girls. He paid his victims hush money out of government funds. High creatures from left-political and decadent society participated in his orgies.

-Comrade Peter Noever (70) hastily got back on the child molester mill after his imprisonment in a former Imperial Museum. Citation: "He has suffered and done penance enough."

- In the affair of the kidnapped Natascha Kampusch, 'Logos' insists that much evidence was sold or lent out. To Whom? Vienna's Red justice persistently prevented Miss Kampusch from appearing before a judge, that means, compelled to speak the truth.

The Red Barbarians Take Power

'Logos' recalled also that the Comrades of the SPÖ in Castle Wilhelminenburg put up a marble plaque: "Palaces... for children".

That is a citation from the battler against unworthy life, Comrade Julius Tandler.

In this connection 'Logos' recalled the Austrian Economist, Ludwig von Mises († 1973).

He spoke of the "Red Barbarians" and warned of the impending horror which would take place if ever these men came to power.

'Logos' continued: "Men like Julius Tandler, Heinrich Gross and the United Social Democratic Party are these terrors."

Polish Pastor's Health Damaged by Psycho-Terror of Old Liberals

Father Skoblicki
Edit: there are a few gripes from the usual quarters that this priest isn't Catholic enough. He's promoting the Catholic Faith, he's building a side altar. He's doing a lot of the right stuff and he's making a lot of the right people angry.

Pure lack of respect for human dignity:  The anti-Church Kopfinger schismatics are working with psychological terror, false reports and death threats.

(kreuz.net, Kopfing) The Pastoral administrator of Kopfing, Fr. Andreas Skoblicki, will leave his parish for a few weeks according to the media bosses.

The health of the Pastor has suffered greatly in the past weeks.

A Doctor has advised that Father Skoblicki needs three weeks to recover.

The absence is the month long psychological terror of the Old Liberal Kopfinger Schismatics in league with the anti-Church media.

The Polish clergyman  has, since he's lived as a foreigner, hardly any personal support.

Father Skoblicki has even received death threats.

He will visit his Polish home and and stay out of the line of fire of the Austrian media which seems bent on executing him.

The Diocese of Linz has said on the website 'nachrichten.at' that the Diocesan Office will put together a priestly grant.

The Diocese is already in talks with priest.

The Lies about First Communion

The regional media concern has struck for months with false reports about the Pastor.

On the most forward front the ‘Oberösterreichische Nachrichten’. is the most rabid.

The last libelous lines from the paper:  next year there is apparently not going to any "first communion".

Actually the local grade school principal -- a bitter enemy of the Pastor -- immediately denounced  the report.

The parents in the first communicants can expect a beautiful celebration in Kopfing.

Why didn't the Diocese Clear this up?

Today the ‘Oberösterreichischen Nachrichten’ has published its most recent lie under the incendiary title, "New Explosives in Kopfing".

The Pastor has built a new side altar in the Church, "without a permit".

The construction was authorized, actually, by the Construction Office in Linz.

Thusly the question remains: why didn't the Bauamt denounce the lie from the anti-Church newspaper?

Pope's Man in Austria Criticizes Dissidents and Bishops

Edit: This was the priest in Linz Diocese who was relentlessly hounded by the Liberals and set up by the Viennese Cardinal when he was named as Auxiliary for Linz. He's had the courage to criticize the Bishops in the past. It's too bad there aren't more like him.

The Windischgartner Pastor Gerhard Maria Wagner is critizing the Pastors' Intiative and the Bishops: In my view sometimes money plays too big a role with the Bishops, while courage plays a lesser role, for them to say: "This is the clear teaching of the Church".

Linz (kath.net) The famous Windischgarstner Pastor, Gerhard Maria Wagner, has dismissed the controversial Pastors' Initiative and stressed that it is time to declare the "Church's teaching". "In the case of remarried and divorced, for example, the Church has made clear stipulations, that it is not negotiable. That's actually also true of the other points of the Pastor's Initiative as well." As to the question if one may refuse these people Holy Communion during Mass, explained the Pastor, that it still may not be done. He would like, however, not to put anyone on the pillory. Afterward, he'd like to speak directly to the person. "The remarried and divorced person may be in the Church, but may not receive the Sacrament."

As far as the theme "celibacy" is concerned, Wagner refutes the notion that it comes from the 11th Century. "We've also heard this heresy that celibacy comes from the 11th Century. There is research that show that this goes back to earlier times. The Church could alter it, however, if it wanted. But despite the various problems, which we have in the life form of celibacy, it is a guidepost. We must give witness of a priestly life, where joy is palpable." The pastor of Windischgarsten also clearly stated, that the Priesthood is not a theme to be discussed in the church any longer. "That is a dogmatically formulated fundamental dogma that priestly consecration is not possible for women. We can't do what Jesus never did. He was surrounded by women and demonstrated their importance. But at the Last Supper the basic framework was established counted only the twelve male Apostles participated, and we can't go back on that. Otherwise it is a 2000 year long tradition that only men are consecrated," he insists.

Wagner appealed to the Bishops as well, that this Pastors' Initiative must be addressed with what must be said. He would like to say to Helmut Schüller that he has lost his way, that this act will not "lead to the healing of the Church". "We have already had a Reformation and know what came of that. The "Call to Disobedience" is a real scandal. We have so much good in the Church but are stuck on these same tired themes." The pastor of Windischgarsten is also criticizing the Austrian Bishops. "in my view money plays a bigger role with the Bishops and less so the courage to say: "This is the teaching of the Church. Whoever can't abide by that, must find another faith community." He believes that the Church "will probably have to become smaller", so that it can become more "basic" in order to become "big again". "We need a clear witness that we don't fear the numbers", says Wagner. For people who persist in the Pastors' Initiative, he says, this is a real "fall from faith".

"Disobedience": Proposals are a 'False Path' says Retired Heiligenkreuz Abbot

Gregor Henckel-Donnersmarck in the "Kurrier" -- Interview:  Making a point of view, in order to get people's attention, is "not right".

Vienna (kath.net/KAP) Retired Cistercian Heiligenkreuz Abbot Gregor Hencke-Donnersmarck describes the Pastors' Initiative as a "wrong path". "A deficit in Faith will not be corrected in more pastors," so says +Henckel-Donnersmarck in an interview with the daily "Kurier" on the (20th. August) It would be more important to the message to baptised and confirmed people; "there, where the priest can't get there. There is no prohibition against preaching, rather there is even a mandate," said the Abbot.

The question isn't whether priests should marry or women should be priests: "it is on the capacity for modern people to believe", says the Cistercian +Henckel-Donnersmarck

The Heiligenkreuz Abbot fears in general that in Euroope, people have lost the sensus for the Faith: "chasing after them, to give a point of view, only to get their attention, is also not right," says Henckel-Donnersmarck. "We have a message, which we must hold to."

Church is a "very indulgent authority, but it still isn't a democracy at heart", insists Hecnkel-Donnersmarck with a glance to the "Discussion on Disobedience". "We should speak of the important themes like th Sacraments and Jesus Christ in these difficult pastoral situations."

As to the question if anything new can be permitted in the Church, the Abbot referenced Pope Benedict XVI: There is a development in the Church with "strong, new impulses". There remains though an "unalterable message". One should not bow to new fashions or allow themes push their way in, "which have nothing directly to do with the Faith".

Will There be Justice For Cardinal Innitzer?

Time Magazine's Cover For Man of the Year 1938

[Kreuznet, Austria]. The Archdiocese of Vienna is working together with a Holocaust Museum in Washington, in order to accuse Austrian Church History. This was reported yesterday by the the news agency 'kathpress'. It concerns data being researched about the Viennese Cardinal Theodor Innitzer († 1955). The Prince of the Church supported the Anschluss of Austria to the German Reich. At that time he signed a declaration with "Heil Hitler" Actually, from October 1938 – during the time when Reichskanzler Adolf Hitler († 1945) was an internationally celebrated political figure – the Prince of the Church turned against the Nazi political movement. He preached in Vienna's Stephansdom: „Unser Führer ist Jesus Christus“[Our Führer is Jesus Christ]. Today's leadership in the Archdiocese of Vienna on the other hand, has collaborated for years with the Abortion-State.

Scandal-Diocese Linz Prepares to Showtrial Another Conservative Priest

Editor: A religion instructor has been organizing a smear campaign against the pastor of a small parish near Linz, Austria. She has brought in an Austrian radio broadcaster, part of Hitler's propaganda machine, the anti-Church Reichssender. Of course, this brings to mind the persecution the conservative Father Wagner of Linz suffered when he was named as Auxiliary Bishop last year.

Priest Will Be Publicly Executed by Reichssender Vienna

This clergyman has a full church in his parish.  But that won't help him.  Because the media monopoly have chosen him as a victim.

(kreuz.net)  Old Liberal circles are leaping to a witch hunt against Pastor Andrzej Skoblicki of Kopfing in the Diocese of Linz.

They are supported in this by the anti-Church 'Österreichischen Rundfunk", which is the successor of the anti-Church, 'Reichssender Wien" of the Nazi era.

Yesterday, the broadcaster published a hit piece against the priest.

The population 2000 village of Kopfing is located seventy kilometers northwest of Linz.

A "retreat to the Middle Ages" would be a great leap forward

The clergyman is reproached for teaching the Catholic Faith.

In familiar jargon the 'Österreichischen Rundfunk' explained that Fr. Skoblicki's community is "divisive" or "being led back to the Middle Ages".

The concept "divisive" is a codeword which the media monopoly uses because Father Skoblicki doesn't tell them what they want to hear.

The "retreat to the Middle Ages" means that he declares stone solid morality and doesn't just say yes and Amen.

In the schools there would be concerns about the pedagogical capabilities the clergyman lacks.

An anticlerical religion teacher is behind the campaign

For over two years there have been -- according to the Österreichischen Rundfunk' -- 431 signatures against the priest.

There is an anticlerical religion teacher behind the campaign.

She has allegedly gathered about thirty persons around herself, who have taken up the fight with the monopoly media against the priest.

The priest from Poland is "arch-conservative" -- cursed the 'Österreichischen Rundfunk'.

He demands -- like Christ -- absolute faith and will not allow any question -- is how the 'Österreichischen Rundfunk' characterized his own conduct.

The work with youth is supposedly "disrupted" by this.

The question is, if this is the case in the surrounding country parishes.

The elected Pastoral Council is standing behind this priest

The parish of Kopfing exhibits an above average level of church attendance.

The Catholics of the area are reviled by "Österreichischen Rundfunk' as "hangers on" of the Pastor and "sectarian".

The Hammer: Even marriages are broken up because of "his teaching" -- slanders the broadcaster.

There has been no word from the pastoral council -- because this board stands behind their pastor.

The 'Österreichische Rundfunk' ascribes evil motives to the Priest, that he had said, "The wages of sin is death".

Actually, that is from a citation from the Saint Paul's Epistle to the Romans.

The Bishop receives the enemies of the priest

As expected the powerful slanderers of the Priest have been received with open arms in the scandal Diocese of Linz.

There has already been a discussion between Bishop Ludwig Schwarz, the Pastor of Kopfing and the General Vicar Severin Lederhilger.

In the meantime, ‘Österreichische Rundfunk’ have only interviewed the enemies of the Pastor.

Because here is exactly what the monopoly broadcaster company is accusing the clergyman of doing: that the former Fascist Broadcaster will not admit that its attempt at manipulation can be questioned by anyone.

You can see the video of the Divine Mercy sermon given by Father, where he explains a sick call where he witnessed a little miracle from a person who wasn't much of a church goer, but while in terrible pain was able to utter the words, "Jesus, I trust in you" before they died a few days later. Unfortunately, it's in German, but you can really see a devoted and sincere man of God, here...

Bishop Walter Mixa Concelbrates Requiem for Otto Habsburg

Edit An Emperor's dying wish? There was a lot of carping in the comments column about calling Otto Habsburg, "Emperor". If we say it, we don't mean it sarcastically. In any event Bishop Conrad Zdarsa is apparently the main celebrant, although we were hoping it would be done in Vienna. No mention of why. One commenter even complains that there were no photos of people kneeling for communion, but at least they had a shot of some of the family members in mantillas.

Did the late Emperor do this? Two archenemies meet at the Altar of the Lord.

(kreuz.net) Last Saturday at the Church of St. Pius in Pöcking, a Requiem was celebrated for His Imperial Majsty, Otto von Habsburg.

Pöckingis a  community of 5600 in upper Bavaria in the County of Stamberg in the vicinity of Munich.

The place belongs to the Diocese of Augsburg.

Otto von Habsburg died on the early morning of the 4th of July in Pöcking, where he'd lived since 1954.

The Emperor's Requiem was concelebrated by none other than the disgraced and dishonored Bishop Mixa, cast out of his Diocese of Augsburg.

Msgr Mixa concelebrated Mass at the expressed wish of the Emperor.

After the Requiem, Bishop Mixa was positively euphoric.

He ran to children and people in wheelchairs in order to lay hands upon them in blessing.

His face beamed at this.

The Emperor of Austria is Dead

Editor: He would have made a much better King of Spain than what we have now. The fate of the Kingdom of the Danube now rests in his successor, Karl's hands, Gott Rett Kaiser Karl. As he once said of his son, according to a British tabloid, "my son is Catholic enough, he knows what to do".

May His Highness, Apostolic and Imperial Emperor, rest in peace.

In 1961, Spanish dictator Francisco Franco offered to make him king of Spain after his own death. Habsburg declined, but [and] later praised the fascist leader for helping refugees, calling him a "dictator of the south American type ... not totalitarian like Hitler or Stalin."

BERLIN — Otto von Habsburg, the oldest son of Austria-Hungary's last emperor who saw the end of his family's centuries-long rule and emerged to become a champion of a Europe united by democracy, died Monday. He was 98.

Habsburg died in his sleep at his home in Poecking in southern Germany, where he had lived since the 1950s, with his seven children nearby, spokeswoman Eva Demmerle told The Associated Press.

Habsburg used his influence in a vain struggle to keep the Nazis from annexing Austria before World War II, then campaigned against the Soviet empire in the decades after the war.

Remember when Otto Hapsburg physically confronted Ian Paisley at the EU, where Paisley insisted he was punched by His Highness.

Cistercian Abbot Says the Right Things, Does the Wrong Ones

Two sided witness of a Cistercian

On the one side, he says things that are true and important.  But why has he made a homo-lobbyist as Theology Professor in the College run by the Monastery?

(kreuz.net) Abbot Gregor Graf Henckel von Donnersmarck (68) ears that Europe is quickly on the way to abolishing itself.

In the twentieth century there won't be any Europeans "in our sense" left.

The Abbot was born in Breslau.  From February he has led the Cistercian Monastery Heiligenkreuz in Vienna.

He was interviewed by the opposition Berlin weekly 'Junge Freiheit'.

Theory and Praxis

Abbot Henkkel von Donnersmarck spoke spontaneously without notes before for the newspaper:

"The Europeans, as we know them, have almost destroyed themselves by suicide and namely from destabilizing marriage and the family as well as contraction, murder of unborn persons and the offering of equal status for sterile and non-reproductive relationships".

And: "Discrimination doesn't just mean that the same is made to be unequal, rather
by the same token, that one unequal is portrayed as equal" -- the clergyman said.

It is for him a fact that marriage is seriously discriminated against, when one takes its partnerships, which would not correspond to their characters, to make them similar or equal.

With this expression the Abbot had his mouth mightily full.

For it was during his time as Grand Chancellor, he has engaged the a homosexual lobbyist and neo-Conservative politician, Andreas Schnider as the professor of religious education and catechetics.

He sees no loophole

Abbot Henckel of Donnersmarck criticized that most Europeans view freedom and wealth as the end point of development.

From that resulted a lack of desire for the future:

"Sooner or later the realization and the understanding will come that it is not the Church which stands in the void, but rather we ourselves."

A way out from the worldly, dictatorial relativism which is dominant throughout Europe and which is actually identified as the danger of our time, the Abbot can foresee no way out.

Actually he has the hope that Christendom allegedly worldwide, is caught "in an upswing".

Viennese Cardinal Snubs Princely Family of Liechtenstein, and the Church

Editor: The Viennese Cardinal is no respecter of rank and privilege. He gives the runaround to everyone who's Catholic. At least someone is looking out for the education of children in Austria.

Erase it: The Austrian Bishops have been playing a game for a year with the spiritual health of minors using devilish religion books.

Prinz Gundakar and Prinzessin Marie von und zu Liechtenstein have, because of ecclesiastical bureaucratic decay, been sent from Pontius to Pilate, while Bishops and the Vatican turn diplomatic pirouettes.

The two marrieds are living in Lower Austria and are responsible for five school age children.

Diocesan Approved Deviltry

In October 2008 the married couple turned to the President of the Austrian Bishop's Conference, Christoph Cardinal Schönborn.

They requested that he eliminate material hostile to the Catholic Faith -- with Episcopal approval -- being used in Catholic religious instruction.

It concerned:

- the "Graz Series" for Middle School. They contain the various parts "I am by you", "With you I can grow", "Travelling with you", "Together we'll make the world".

- the hand book "Joy for Faith",

- a series of writings of the Old Liberal Viennese Religious educator, Martin Jäggle, with the instruction text "You like me", "you make my life beautiful", "You lead me", "You trust me".

The applicants looked for the good advice of Gertrud Dörner.

With her help, it was demonstrated that the offensive texts falsify the Faith.

In April 2009 the Old Liberal Austrian Bishop's Conference struck down the appeal.

The Couple von und zu Lieschtenstein 2009 made an application for retraction of the judgment. This was struck down in July of the same year.

The Long Way to Rome

The couple weighed against the decision again, but this time with the Congregation for the Faith.

The appeal was sent back on November 2009 for formal reasons.

Prinz Gundakar reapplied his appeal to the Apostolic Signatura in November 2009.

This was remanded by the parents in February 2010 to the Congregation for Clergy.

Still the prince turned from this in the same month.

Incredible but true: In March 2010 -- almost a year and a half after first writing Cardinal Schönborn -- the appeal was received.

The Apostolic Signatura handed the problem down to the Congregation of Clergy. This office got down to business.

They asked Cardinal Schönborn for documents and information and a deep study of the recommendations of Frau Döner from the Congregation of Faith.

Cynical Bishops

Cynically, the Austrian Bishops Conference had already admitted in April of April 2009 that "in part" Frau Dörners observations on the faith unfriendly religion books were accurate.

And: "The corresponding hand books show, that these problems have their origin in questionable theological positions as well as in dangerous tendencies, to devalue the validity of faith".

These determinations are blank cynicism: For the episcopaly criticized books were considered by the Bishops to have been effectively used for Catholic religious instruction.

Pulling the Head from the Sling

The Congregation for Clergy called the Cardinal to address the situation.

The Cardinal explained November 2010 in a letter that the Austrian Bishops in the mean time had published a new lesson plan.

The incriminated school books were therefore no longer new, rather replaced in the whole by a new school book series.

Therefore it "is not meaningful" to correct errors contained, which the Congregation of the Faith had correctly ascertained, "for the short time frame for which this series of elementary school books are in use."

He will take efforts to explain the various errors concerned and inform the religion instructors in the use of these religion books so that they won't disseminate these identified errors --- joked the Cardinal.

Irresponsible Wolves

On 22. Februar 2011 the Congregation for Clergy explained that the reason for the conflict has been isolated, since the proposed concerns which were specified in the appeal were handled "in an acceptable way".

In other words: The Austrian Bishops have been risking the good of the souls of persons under age.

Now they've availed themselves of a hush-hush action.

The responsibility for this outrageous scandal doesn't convince anyone.

Schönborn: "The Crisis Will Make the Binding Power of the Church More Clear"

Editor: What you don't get in this discussion is what kreuz.net sees as the Cardinal's customary ambiguity, and putting out a discussion like this on the national level so that he can attempt to vitiate the Church's actual position. Moreover, the Cardinal states that the reason for so many people leaving the Church this year was their "orchestrated" sex abuse scandal, as kreuz.net says:

The real reason that people are leaving the Church is for the fact that over ninety percent are paper Catholics -- among whom are many priests and even Bishops -- there's no real connection to the Church there.

Here's the kath.net story:

With a view on controversial themes within the Church ++Schönborn pleads for an "open debate". This is also applicable to celibacy, for there is "good cause why we should discuss it."

Brixen (kath.net/KAP)In the crisis the binding power of the Church will again be made clear. The president of the Austrian Bishops' Conference, Cardinal Christoph Schönborn said this to the media in Brixen, with a view on the large numbers of those leaving the Church last year. The meeting of all the entire Bishops conference will deal intensively with the questions of church losses and also the legal measures against sexual abuse. The sex abuse crisis has been naturally blamed for the climbing numbers of church defections.

But there are also "signs of hope for a spring in the Church", urged the Viennese Archbishop, who spoke for an "open debate" within the Church about polemical themees. It needs consideration that people today can decide to live in the context of a plural and multi-religious society. This new freedom is also positive: "Christianity will be more a point of conviction, and we will have a free Church in a free society", emphasized the Cardinal and said: "The binding power of the Church will also become clearly stronger -- despite the abuse crisis."

More signs of hope are in the engagement of many young people, who are showing much concern for civil society and increasing interest in religious themes. For this back ground is pivotal, "the questions of faith, of God are wakening and taking hold in the midst of society", said the Cardinal. With a view upon controversial themes within the Church he pleads for an "open debate". This suffices also for celibacy, for it is " a good reason to have a discussion about it."

The Austrian Episcopate is preoccupied with its measures against sex abuse and correcting the configuration of the established guidelines. In the last year there is an increasing responsibility and "consciousness on to stand on the side of the victim". There are "clear standards" as well as working to know the truth and prevention. "I dare now to say that the Church has forged its way exemplarily", said the president of the Bishops' Conference, and effect a "positive example" at the national level.

The discussion with media representatives from Italy and Austria took place immediately before the begin of the four day plenary assembly of the Austrian Bishops' Conference, which intitially will meet in South Tyrol. Cardinal Schonborn will give a press conference about the Plenary Assembly on the 25th of March at 10.00 O'Clock in the "Club Stephansplatz 4", 1010 Vienna.

Graz Priest, "By 2050 Austria Will be Muslim"

Karl Tropper directed a sharp criticism against Islam: "The Koran is the purest inflammatory pamphlet. By 2050 all of Austria will be Muslim. Graz Bishop Kapellari is not amused: Uncultivated style.

Karl Tropper, the Pastor of St. Veit am Vorgau in the Diocese of Graz-Seckau has made severe criticisms of Islam according to Media Reports. In his most recent pastoral letter as per a "Kleine" news, he said that a Swiss Author had omitted that Muslims can not be buried with non-believers. The pastoral letter reads: "it's not only pure racism, this is also a backward step to Hitler and Stalin -- they have resolved to extinguish and extinguished, easily, millions of 'lives unworthy of life'." In another article he is asked by an author if Islam makes you sick and if "Islam" twists "the psyche of people into the completely absurd." His answer to the author: "You have to suspect it".

Pastor Tropper stated his critical positions against Islam and spoke per "KLeine" word for word, of "pure racism" or "the Koran is the purest inflammatory pamphlet.. Muslims can't be integrated... Islam is intrinsically aggressive.. In 2050 Austria will be completely Islamic..." And: "Islam is the most repugnant." Tropper says Mosques can never be a house of God, because they produce nothing but war.

There is irritation at the Graz Chancery over the words of Pastor Tropper. Bishop Kapellari said to the "Kleinen" - Times: "Those who are in positions of responsibility in the Church do not bring a solution to these problems when they make horrible oversimplifications and offer such an uncultivated style. This touches also on the theme of Islam, which the Church will meet neither with naivete and certainly not with raw aggression either." Pastor Tropper himself shows himself unmoved by the Bishop's displeasure: "At first the Bishop grouched at me again, but from the evidence I can see he remains guilty. I have to follow my conscience."

Pastor Tropper also caused a stire last year. While preaching at a first Communion
according to the "Kleine" newspaper that those who leaves the Church, will count themselves in the company of Hitler, Stalin and other criminals. He received a reprimand then in 2010.

Schönborn: Liturgical Reform is the Reinforcement of Old Traditions

Editor: The evils of the gathering space.

The Viennese Archbishop at the Altar Blessing in the Viennese Parish Church of Schottenfeld: The people's altar of the Liturgical Reform has now pushed the altar space in the foreground and posited another symbolism.

Vienna (kath.net/KAP) The liturgical reform of the Second Vatican Council is not the weakening of traditions, rather their reinforcement. Cardinal Christoph Schönborn preached this on Sunday at the consecration of an altar in the Viennese parish church in Schottenfeld.

Before the reform the priest prayed at the high altar facing the same direction as the faithful to the east -- toward the rising of the sun which Christ symbolizes. The people's altar of the Liturgical Reform has now pushed the altar space in the foreground and posited another symbolism, said Schönborn: "We gather around the altar, around Christ." With this reform it is brought more clearly to expression, "that Christ is our center". That is the reason that the consecration of an altar has a special meaning, explained the Cardinal.

Schönborn preached among other things about the abuse cases in the Church and acknowledged the misdeeds "even of us priests". Above all the Church is concerned in the fugure to gather itself around Christ and focus its life on Him. Then one doesn't have to be afraid of the future, said the Cardinal.

Pope: The Church is not Merely the Dispenser of Social Services

Editor: While remaining ambivalent to the nature of the Church and the State, the Holy Father restates the importance of the State in maintaining the moral order.  Religion may not be merely limited as the participant in culture.

Rom (kath.net/as) This Thursday morning Pope Benedict invited the new ambassador of the Republic of Austria to the Holy See, Alfons M. Kloss, for the handing over of qualifications, with which this extraordinary and appointed emissary was accredited.

In his address Benedict XVI. called Austria the "Land of Cathedrals", that in its culture, its history and not least in everyday life, the faith is deeply stamped and, while at the same time it could demonstrate a long history of friendly coexistence between different religions and cultures.

The Pope went about the "peculiar tension" in the relation between Church and State which exist in the various states of Europe.  It appears that one wants to adjust the Gospel to the culture, yet it is painfully intended to avoid the fact that the culture has been participated in by the religious.

As a second point Benedict stressed the actuality of the respect for religious freedom, which allows the ecclesiastical community to exercise its various activities, from which from which the entire society makes use. The engagement of the Church has its deepest foundation in God, "in God, is love": "therefore it is necessary, to attend the nature and actual effect of the Church, without making it merely a bearer of social services.  It is much more evident in the completeness of a religious dimension."

So, there is in place of prayer, "the tendency to counter egotistical individualism.  For all communal powers consist in the penetrating and persistent mission, to secure the moral dimension of the culture, the dimension of a culture, that which is representative of people as well as of life in society.

Finally the Pope underlined the importance of family politics and the meaning of marriage as a natural help to social ordering:  "Therefore, marriage and family necessitates the special protection of the state.  They are, for all of their members, a school of humanity with positive consequences for the individual and for society."

Justice for Abbot Joachim Angerer

Its true, he was an Old Liberal.  But that is only one side of the coin.  German translation of Jurg-Werner Oberlasser.

(kreuz.net) The site 'kreuz.net' reported something hard last November about the Old Lineral Abbot Joachim Angerer (76).

The Prelate was from   1986 till his defacto ouster the leader of the Premonstratensian Cloister Geras.

The Stift is located in the Diocese of St. Polten.

I know from my own experience that Abbot Angerer isn't only just Old Liberal.  He was also Liberal.

So he allowed without any ifs and buts the Latin Mass, Latin prayers and many ancient usages which the young men then wanted.

I am very convinced and can recall a corresponding discussion with him that he allowed the old Mass in his Cloister and in the incorporated parishes by implication.

Yes, he is Old Liberal, sometimes in a strange manner.  But he is also a good man, who imposed no limitations against his conservative fellow brothers and perhaps also from conviction.

Those who supported him, either left following his resignation -- and that -- or wanted themselves to be abbot.

In order to support the abbot, they used the lever of money.

The odd acolyte service of those priests now condemned for abuse had often criticized Abbot Angerer.

But he remained powerless against his fellow brothers.

One had to hold these dubious priests in the Priory of Fritzlar closed in the meantime.  For in the priory -- why indeed? -- that too many had gone.

About the former Bishop Krenn of St. Polten, who attempted, to outwit him, one can only shake one's head in the face of such hindsight.

The idea that Msgr Krenn had been really conservative, no one could seriously maintain.

Abortionist Uses Forceps to Kill Babies, Says Austrian Radio

Socialism with a human face?  Today the "Austrian Red Radio" had an unexpected bout of humanity.

(kreuz.net) The website of the left-leaning '‘Österreichischen Rundfunks' [Austrian Radio] is the largest internet medium of the land.

For years they have defended the violence of abortion against unborn people with macabre bitterness.

The reason was the criminal and abortionist Kermit Gosnell (69).

Butcher Gosnell murdered innocent children for years in a abortuary in Pennsylvania, USA, -- completely legally.

The 'Österreichische Rundfunk' called him a "doctor" and his slaughterhouse a "clinic" in any event.

Actually then the broadcaster made a sudden pirouette:  "Abortion doctor kills babies with forceps."

That has gripped the entire Country with "horror".

There, the broadcaster has nothing against the murder of unborn children, the problem for them appears to be the "forceps".

Really, it's how the Red Radio pampered doctors murder their devalued victims.

Perhaps caresses?
