Tossati Correspondent: "Martini Did Not Want Bergoglio"

Here's our attempt at Spanish with the help of some google translate of a letter Marco Tosatti of Infovaticana received from a very learned and well-connected correspondent in who is known by the tantalizing nom de guerre, Romana Vulneratus Curia.

Marco Tosatti:

Today, Romana Vulneratus Curia (RVC for short) has exploded. So much so that he has written an ironic message, a bit bitter, but serious, one that is markedly different compared to the usual. Then, with indifference, as if nothing happened, he has let slip between lines an indiscretion in his comment in the title, and in the article which we put in bold. And forgive me that there is little! Anything that comes to me deserves some consideration by the humble person who writes these letters, who does not have the Vatican frequency or ecclesiastical connections of RVC. Here it is:

Letter to Tosatti

"Dear Tosatti, at first I wanted to write to you of what is more of a marvel for us, the Italians, that we prefer that nothing is lost. We have everything we can wish for: Mrs. Boldrini, Count Gentilini, the teacher Bonino and above all the great Pope Bergoglio, who loves and protects all of us Catholics and Italians above all. But do we need anything else to be calm and serene? Then I read the article by Father Spadaro in Civiltà Cattolica and finally I understood what is the origin of all the evils in the Church, in politics and in society: conservative and traditionalist Catholics. And I wondered if Spadaro would not be quite right to distrust these old, reactionary, sectarian, and Manicheans, who still insist on the claim that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, resurrected and redemptive of the world. But have these Pharisees read or understood the great prophet Karl Rahner? Then, still in the morning, I read the insinuations - intimidations - made to Pope Ratzinger on the story of Regensburg and I was surprised. But are traditionalists the danger of Catholic faith and civilization? What if it were the others? Do you want to see, I asked myself, that this friend who was explaining me could have been right, unlike the general opinion. You see, the great Cardinal Carlo Maria Martini in the 2005 conclave (when Ratzinger was elected) would have dissuaded his colleagues from electing such a Jesuit cardinal explaining that if he were elected pope, the prestige of the Society of Jesus would be compromised for another hundred years, and in a more painful way than with Pope Clement XIV, who in 1773 dissolved the Society of Jesus? But not satisfied with unverifiable indiscretion, I tried to understand when, why and how the Company was reconstituted by Pius VII in 1814. I admit that the story is not clear about this, but it follows that after 5 years of prison, that when Pío VII returned to Rome on 24 of May of 1814, one of the first things that did, two months later, the 7 of August, was the reconstruction of the Company of Jesus. Immediately after, he obtained the restitution of all the territories subtracted to the Church. I repeat, history does not explain it, but after the liberation of the Pope, the restitution of the territories and the reconstruction of the Company took two months. What would Napoleon himself have suggested? Well ... maybe Tosatti himself could explain it. Your RVC . "

Cardinal Müller: "Francis and I? I am Loyal to the Pope, but no Flatterer"

(Rome) Matteo Matzuzzi of Il Foglio published a detailed interview with Gerhard Cardinal Müller, the Prefect of the Roman Congregation for the Congregation of the Faith, who had been dismissed by Pope Francis on June 30th. The interview also addresses the question of why Cardinal Müller gave the decisive vote in the final vote of the bishop's synod of 2015, which saved Cardinal Kasper from a defeat and Pope Francis from the loss of face, but only made the controversial post-synodal letter Amoris laetitia possible.

The pope was breaking the dams, the Prefect of Doctrine and the Faith played fire-brigade - and was shown the door

In the last 16 months, since the publication of the controversial post-synodal letter of Francis, Amoris laetitia, Cardinal Muller has entered the public with a clear counter-position to the pope without criticizing the Pope directly and by name. The core question of the double bishops' synod on the family was whether or not re-married divorced - and in consequence other believers in irregular relationship situations - are admitted to the sacraments. The traditional doctrine of the Church is decidedly no, because Christ teaches the indissolubility of marriage against the divorce practice of the Old Testament. On 20 February 2014 Cardinal Walter Kasper, on the other hand, said yes to the Cardinal's Consistory. There is no doubt that Pope Francis favored Kasper's affirmation and that today's practice was made possible by him in some dioceses and whole countries. Officially, however, the pope did not raise the question, in order not to expose himself to charges of heresy. Critics therefore speak of an oblique advocacy.
The fact is that today every bishop of the world Church can decide for his diocese himself, whether or not remarried divorced persons are admitted to the Holy Communion. In 1977, as the historian Roberto de Mattei recalled a few days ago, Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre prophesied this fragmentation of the world Church, which would have to reach out to those who want an adaptation of the Church to the temporal spirit.

Francis Brought the "Greatest Confusion"

Cardinal Müller has repeatedly appeared in the past months in order to contradict the case of Kasper and his followers. The Prefect of Faith renounced any criticism of Pope Francis, although that he was the main contributor to the "greatest confusion" only a blind man could deny, as Cardinal Carlo Caffarra criticized at the beginning of the year. Cardinal Müller emphasized, however, what was implicitly a criticism of Cardinal Kasper, and also of Pope Francis, that the doctrine of the Church and, indeed, the resulting practice had changed. The prefect of faith also emphasized that "no one, not even the pope," could change the doctrine of Christ about the indissolubility of marriage.
Clear words, which, however, could not stop the oncoming train of the Kasperians because they know the Pope on their side. Thus they could and can call the CDF prefects, whether they were called Müller or Ladaria, a "good man" in the distant Rome.
Before the first Bishop's Synod, Kasper had declared unequivocally against criticism that the Synod was either going the way it wanted it, or it could be canceled at once. It was a form of coercion that would have had consequences but which did not exist, because Kasper had been the shadow of Francis since the beginning of the pontificate.

An "inherited" CDF prefect

The relationship between Pope Francis and the Faith Prefectures inherited from  Benedict XVI. never reached a brotherly cordiality. At the latest, with the protest letter of the thirteen cardinals, one of them Müller, at the beginning of the decisive bishop's synod in 2015, led to the final break. The cardinals felt they were being led by nose, and said that clearly. They gathered in Rome to discuss each other, and had to conclude that the Synodic Government, already determined by faithful Bergoglians, had already already formulated the synodic result. The Cardinals protested against a defeat of the Synod and, above all, against preconceived results. Pope Francis and his court had been caught in flagranti manipulating the course of events.
The pope "raged," was how Edward Pentin reported when in November 2016 the Dubia (doubts) of four cardinals about Amoris laetitia became known. He did not so much rave about the letter, which he could dispose of in the paper basket. He raged that the letter became public. The same papal anger against the four cardinals, Brandmüller, Burke, Caffarra, and Meisner, with their Dubia (doubts) about Amoris laetitia is still there a year later. Francis ignores the Dubia to this day, and it may be concluded that he had also ignored the protest letter of the 13 Cardinals of October 2015. His anger, the only reaction, is triggered because the criticism of the Cardinals, whether wanted or not, came to the public.
In 2015, the pope himself appeared before the synodals and raged against a "hermeneutics of conspiracy". Against the Dubia of the Cardinals, he sent out his closest collaborators, who attacked and publicly denounced them. To be exact, the representatives of the papal entourage did not fall over the Dubia, which would have been justifiable. No, they left the Dubia on the left, refused to be contentious like the Pope, and fell upon the Cardinals themselves.
It is not only since then, whoever adheres faithfully to the traditional doctrine and practice of the Church, Francis is in the process of having them trampleddismissedfired, placed under house arrest, or placed under interim administration.
Cardinal Müller was dismissed on June 30th. The admission that he had not been extended in his office after the expiry of his term of office is, at best, cosmetics to defuse the situation.

It is well known that at the end of the double synod on the family, which was specially constituted and directed to push through the Kasper proposal and allow the remarried divorced to Communion, that with the dambreak in the remarried divorced against the Christ's commandment, further dam breaks would be automatically included.

Schönborn's Graduality Principle and Humanae vitae

The Kasper thesis, with which he wanted to achieve his goal, could also be applied to other situations. Christoph Cardinal Schönborn already provided the extended theory for the first family code in 2014: the gradual principle. There are therefore no irregular situations. As such, the Church identifies all sexual relations between people outside marriage, the only regular relationship provided by God. According to Schönborn, every relationship between two people is only a gradual differentiation of the Lord's command. Sometimes more, sometimes less. The Church should accompany the fullness, but in all respects already weakened the realization of this commandment. This thesis forbids, this is the main point, any criticism of irregular relations , such as adultery. This would overcome the contrast that finally exists between the Church and the Zeitgeist since the sexual revolution of the 1960s. This was a contrast that a few clerics felt as a strain and which they wanted to get rid of today rather than tomorrow.
Pope Paul VI. Had, on the other hand , affirmed him with his Encyclical Humanae vitae, which was often designated as prophetic, in the "Revolution Year" Even at that time, entire bishops' conferences, including those of the German-speaking world, were denied him. A break that has since destroyed the Church like a poison on the living body. Amoris laetitia is the first step to overcome the break. Not in the sense of the restoration of the commandment of Christ, but by capitulation to the prevailing temporal spirit and its hypersexualization.
At the end of the Bishop's Synod in 2015, the plan of the Kasperians, supported by Francis, still seemed to fail. The required majority was not reached during the vote on the synod report. A victory of the sacramental order handed down throughout the line, but with a beauty defect. The Pope would have stood in public as a loser, and a profound break would have been visible in the church. Such a scenario not only made the Kasperians nervous, who were threatened with a loss of content. It also made those nervous about the public image of the church, its image and prestige.
Thus, a compromise was made feverishly presented by Cardinal Schönborn, who - not Kasper - became one of the real makers of "Amoris laetitia". The vote on the revised final report resulted in a majority of only one vote. Knapper did not go anymore. Cardinal Müller had voted for the compromise. His voice was so decisive.

Why did Cardinal Müller vote for synod report?

Matzuzzi asked the dismissed faith prefect why he had voted for the Schönborn draft. He had, since the publication of Amoris laetitia, had to run after the Bergoglians, to remind them, quite unsuccessfully, that "no authority, no priest, no bishop and not even the pope" could correct the teaching of Jesus Christ.
Here the answer from Cardinal Müller:
"The Synod has clearly stated that the individual bishops are responsible for this way [of the remarried divorced] to lead people to the full sacramental grace. This interpretation is there, no doubt. But I have never changed my private and subjective position. As a Bishop and Cardinal, I have represented the doctrine of the Church, which I also know in its fundamental developments from the Council of Trent to Gaudium et Spes, which constitute the two guidelines. This is Catholic, the rest belongs to other convictions. I do not understand how different theological and dogmatic interpretative positions can be reconciled with the clear words of Jesus and St. Paul. Both have clarified that you can not marry a second time when the legal partner still lives. "

"Understand the Reasons for the Dubia of the Four Cardinals"

At the same time, Cardinal Müller explained the reasons given by Cardinal Burke, Cardinal Brandmüller, Cardinal Caffarra, and Cardinal Meisner, who had since passed away, to the Pope to present five Dubia to Amoris laetitia.
"I do not understand why you do not start a dialogue in peace and serenity. I do not understand what obstacles stand in the way. Why are such tensions made public, too?"
Words which are an obvious criticism of Pope Francis, who has refused to meet the Cardinals' desire for dialogue since September 2016. Also, at their request of last April to be received by the Pope in audience, the four cardinals received no answer. No Answer!

The Spirit of God and the Spirit of the World

Cardinal Müller sees a willingness within the Church to work to adapt to the spirit of time. Matzuzzi referred to Benedict XVI's criticism of the Zeitgeist. Cardinal Müller:
"The emeritus pope spoke of the zeitgeist, but St. Paul spoke of the spirit of God and the spirit of the world. This contrast is very important and must be understood. The affirmation of faith - the Church and the bishops - does not depend on the applause of an uninformed mass. And another thing: our work is treasured and appreciated when we convince a man to give himself completely to Jesus Christ by placing his existence in the hands of Jesus. In his first epistle, St. Peter speaks of Jesus Christ the souls of souls! And today one speaks of responsibility for culture and the environment? Yes, but we have many competent laity. People who bear responsibility in politics: we have governments and parliaments, etc. The Apostles did not transfer Jesus to the secular government of the world. There were prince-bishops in earlier centuries and they have not done well to the Church."
And addressed to secularization, Cardinal Müller said:
"They live as if God did not exist. The problem is not secularization but de-Christianization."

Müller: "All Elements of the Lived Faith Have Collapsed"

Rome (idea) - Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller - until the beginning of July Prefect of the Congregation of the Doctrine and the Faith - has drawn a dramatic image of Christianity and the Catholic Church in Europe. "All the elements of the faith lived, the popular piety, have collapsed", he said in an interview with the Italian daily "Il Foglio" (issue 21 July). All of Europe is in a "process of forced de-Christianization, which goes far beyond simple secularization." Man is defined "strictly without God and without transcendence." In the Catholic Church, participation in ecclesiastical life, the spread of faith and the new vocations of priests and religious, has greatly diminished. Müller warned the church not to waste its powers in internal struggles. According to him, "so-called progressives" seek victory, "persecuting all so-called conservatives". The 69-year-old was Bishop of Regensburg from 2002 to 2012, and from 2012 to 2017 Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine and the Faith.

Cardinal Schönborn says Amoris Laetitia is Perfectly Orthodox

"I answered him, 'Holy Father, Amoris Laetitia it is perfectly orthodox.'"

Cardinal Christoph Schönborn apparently answered the question put to him Pope Francis, whether the controversial post-synodal letter Amoris laetitia is orthodox, that is to say, right believing. On April 8, 2016, Amoris laetitia was presented by Cardinal Schönborn in Rome to the public. Immediately afterwards, Francis thanked the Archbishop of Vienna for the idea that Cardinal Schönborn had said that the church would open the door to Communion reception for the remarried divorced. On this occasion Francis asked him whether Amoris laetitia was in agreement with the doctrine of the Catholic Church. Schönborn for example, presented his speech at the preparatory meeting of the World Meeting Families in Limerick on the 13th of July, at the preparatory meeting for the World Meeting of Families in 2018. On April 16, Pope Francis explained on the return flight from Lesbos that  Schönborn's presentation is the authentic reading of Amoris laetitia.

Chief Dominican Devil Says Sodomy is a Divine Gift

Edit: it's so absurd we can't comment.
ROME, May 19, 2015 (LifeSiteNews.com) -- Pope Francis has appointed radically liberal, pro-homosexual Dominican Father Timothy Radcliffe as a consultor for the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace.
The Holy Father made the appointment on Saturday, according to Vatican Radio.
Father Radcliffe, an Englishman, author and speaker, was Master of the Dominican order from 1992 to 2001, and is an outspokenproponent of homosexuality.
"We must accompany [gay people] as they discern what this means, letting our images be stretched open,” he said in a 2006 religious education lecture in Los Angeles. “This means watching 'Brokeback Mountain,' reading gay novels, living with our gay friends and listening with them as they listen to the Lord."

Cardinal Müller Questions Cult of Personality Around Pope Francis

[Katholisches] "Every Catholic, especially every bishop and every cardinal, has a positive and constructive relationship with the Pope. But this is anything but courtly manners and the groveling of subordinates, against which Pope Francis always spoke."

"That means that not everything he does and says is, from the outset, already perfect and unquestionable."

"There should be no personal cult and a pope-touching tourism."

Cardinal Gerhard Mueller, prefect of the Roman Congregation for the Congregation of the Doctrine and the Faith, no longer in office, on Pope Franziskus, report of the German Press Agency (DPA), quoted from Der Spiegel v. July 19, 2017.

Regensburg Dompatzen: The Report and the "Coincidental" Names of Ratzinger and Müller

(Regensburg) "What a coincidence," wrote Vaticanist Marco Tossatti regarding the investigation of abuses in the Regensburg Domspatzen, after his acquaintance with the final report. He did not believe in "coincidences," said Tosatti, if they were to happen in "a country so precise and above every suspicion as Germany." This thought came to the attention of the Vatican, when he had to read yesterday that the "final" report on abuse was published at the Regensburg Cathedral.

The ORF and numerous other media yesterday headlined, "547 Children at Regensburger Domspatzen Abused." The verb "abused" makes you cringe and think of sexual abuse of minors. A rogue might think, with the ORF one would not have exactly intended that. A glance at the article shows that almost 90 per cent of the cases were physical chastisement, which was one of the most common methods of education in the period under investigation since the end of the war. The example demonstrates the enjoyment with which the "quality media" are currently, vehemently presenting themselves as the defenders of journalism against the spread of "fake news," in the event of resentment, in this case against the Church. The same year, the same ORF had used the verb "abuse" in connection with the Regensburger Domspatzen, as Der Spiegel did yesterday. In this case the "crux" is, as is often the case, in the large press agencies. They specify line and words that are taken over by the other media. Suspiciously, Tosatti, who does not mention the ORF report, is interested in the fact that the latter, in order to remain an example, comes from the "religion" section. At the latest, we can see that the issue is also about Church policy.

The "final" report presented on Monday speaks of 547 cases in the period of half a century, of which "thankfully, or thank God," only "concern 67 sexual abuse cases," says Tosatti. The rest are from educational methods, which at the time had been disapproved of by at best only a few parents.

More serious is sexual abuse. "The German Church did well to work it out with an investigation by a person responsible to someone external to the institution." 48 Victims were found. The two chief perpetrators have been dead for about 30 years, which is why prosecution is impossible. It would no longer be possible due to statute of limitations anyway. The victims will receive compensation of 20,000 euros each.

Case Ratzinger

"At this point, coincidences begin," says Tosatti. As "fate" would have it, Georg Ratzinger, the older brother of Joseph Ratzinger, had been the musical director of the Regensburg Dompatzen for 30 years appeared in the final report. Seven years ago he said in an interview that he had also handed out a few Ohrfeigen [boxing the ears] for his first few years in his role at that time. Those who were young at that time know from their own experience or at least the observation that head smacking [Kopfüsse] and Ohrfeigen were not a rarity in the fifties and early sixties. "If I had known something about the abuse, I would have done something," Georg Ratzinger said at the time. And also "I apologize to the victims." He also did it because of the pain that the good reputation of "his" Dompatzen was defiled by the deeds of others.

At the press conference on the presentation of the final report, however, the lawyer, Weber weighed in heavily. He gave Georg Ratzinger the responsibility of "closing his eyes" and not doing anything. Is Georg Ratzinger, who is not accused in the report of being himself involved in ill-treatment or even abuse, only a substitute accused because the real perpetrators are long dead? Or is he given the responsibility because he is called Ratzinger, and because his more famous brother was the head of the Catholic Church, and is still somehow so for a few Catholics? Was the side swipe only for media attention, which was promptly granted, or once again broke into that deep German anti-Ratzinger reflex?

Tosatti does not believe in any "coincidence" because of its timed occurrence with Benedict XVI's message for the funeral of Cardinal Joachim Meisner. This message was read as a criticism of the state of the Church and of the shepherds who did not fight against the dictatorship of the Zeitgeist under which the German church groans.

Case Müller

"Then there is Cardinal Gerhard Müller," said Tosatti, who is also mentioned in the final report. Before his appointment as Prefect of the Congregation for Doctrine and the Faith, Müller was the Bishop of Regensburg. The report criticizes how he had handled the "case" of the Regensburg Dompatzen. Above all, he is accused of a lack of dialogue with the alleged victims. To this Tosatti wrote:

"Poor Müller! It was not enough to step through the pope, and after the first stomach pain (see the interview with the Passau Neue Presse ), he had to pretend that nothing had happened, and that the Pope wanted him nothing but good. Now this sympathetic trifle came through his native Germany, where, as is well known, he is very popular among his countrymen."

The loser is the one who's mocked, says a German proverb. In the case of Cardinal Müller, it is evident that there is no lack of countrymen within and out of the Church, who are eager to show their disapproval. And whenever someone is down, it is particularly easy. In some cases, some seem to be interested in the fact that the Cardinal will never get up again. Yet he will not give them such satisfaction, which he will do even if he is weakened in his power.

At the same time as the presentation of the final report, the appointment of the new secretary of the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith was announced in Rome . To this Tosatti wrote:

"The one who was appointed was not, as expected, the Assistant Secretary, Archbishop Agostino DiNoia, but the under-secretary, Monsignor Giacomo Morandi, the man who was placed in the Ratzinger and Muller Congregation a year and a half ago. A pretty quick career. He is really born under a lucky star, like that of Beniamino, the Prefect of the Clerical Congregation and the great director of the pope's court. All just coincidences."

Archdiocese Sells IHM Sisters Property to Satanist Pop Star

Edit: the IHM Sisters who once occupied a large property in the La Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, California until they were thrown out by Cardinal Mahony in 2011, are now being thoroughly divested of what was their home. Realizing that their shrinking and now elderly remaining members could not remain in the property any longer, they sought to sell it to a woman who wanted to turn the community house into a boutique hotel. Meanwhile, the Archdiocese under Cardinal Gomez objected to the sale, in favor of selling the property to admitted satanist Katy Perry, while claiming to be representing the best interests of the sisters. But they seem to be the only ones objecting to the sale of the property to the evil pop star.

Despite filing a law suit against to sell the property to the original buyer, the sisters lost their court battle in March of last year to the evil pop star.  We were unable to find any further articles after April of 2017.

This story didn't get a lot of coverage from Catholic media, and we only heard about yesterday reading a comment threat from 2015. Cardinal Gomez seems to be just as evil and unprincipled as his predecessor.

Two nuns have enlisted the help of the Pope’s personal lawyer to fight a court case against Katy Perry’s attempts to buy a former convent, describing the singer as “disgusting” and accusing her of “witchcraft,” according to a report.

The Daily Mail reports that the 32-year-old singer is facing a legal challenge from the Order of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary over her attempt to buy the $14.5 million property, situated in Los Angeles’ Los Feliz neighborhood, which was formerly lived in by Sisters Rose Catherine Holzman, 86, and Rita Callanan, 78.
“I do not like Katy Perry’s lifestyle,” Callanan told the paper. “I gave a lot of the things from the internet to show the Archdiocese what kind of woman she was. Some of the things she does are disgusting.”

During her first encounter with the singer, Callanan said that Perry was eager to show her a tattoo on her wrist with the name Jesus, and the singer said she planned to buy the property so she could “sit down and drink green tea, and just go to the meditation garden and just meditate.”

What's Going on in Bergoglio's Pontifical Academy for Life Anyway?

Edit: Randy Engel sent this to our e-mail. Hope we can help expose this manifest evil.

Dear Friends – Is there no end to the anti-life scandals at Pontifical Academy for Life?  Or is it Death?

Karolinska Institute is NOT a “Medical University.” It’s a Big Auschwitz  for unborn children.

In the selection of its members, the Vatican must also consider the institution that the member represents. In the case of Katarina Le Blanc that institution is the Karolinska Institute – one of the world’s foremost promoters of abortion and abortifacients. The Institute also is involved in non-therapeutic fetal experimentation and the provision of fetal tissues from aborted babies.  Its eugenic mind-set is illustrated by its pioneer promotion of human embryo preimplantation diagnosis and in-vitro Fertilization.

Either remove Le Blanc and all the other anti-life characters which infest the “academy” or just shut the growing hell-hole down! Enough is enough!

Randy Engel, U.S. Coalition for Life

Pontifical Academy for Scandals - One Scandal More :Source: La Nuova Bussola Quotidiana

The Nuova Bussola Quotidiana writes, that Katarina Le Blanc from the Swedish Karolinska Institutet, who was named on June 13th as a member of the Pontifical Academy for Life, works with human stem cells derived from aborted children.

In 2013 she published with other authors an article in PLOS ONE on stem cell research based on cells harvested from killed human embryos. The Pontifical Academy for Life declared in 2000, that such research is immoral.

In July 2016 Le Blanc published in Scientific Reports with others a study based on cells taken from the lungs of aborted children, purchased from the abortion-network Planned Parenthood at the price of 45 Dollars a baby.

New Secretary of the CDF Named

(Rome) Pope Francis has appointed a new secretary of the Roman Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith with remarkable speed. It is the Italian priest Giacomo Morandi, who, since 2015, held the office of sub-secretary at the Congregation.
Born in Modena in 1965, Msgr. Morandi was ordained as a priest for his home diocese in 1990. After various pastoral tasks, he was appointed bishop vicar for catechesis, evangelization and culture. Most recently, he was Archbishop of Modena in the cathedral chapter and vicar general of the archdiocese. He also taught Bible Studies at the University of Religious Sciences of Modena and Patristic Exegesis at the Atelier of Theology of Cardinal Spidlik, which is connected with the Pontifical Oriental Institute. In October 2015 Francis named him as Undersecretary to the Congregation for the Congo.
The former secretary of the Congregation of the Doctrine and the Faith was the curial bishop, Luis Ladaria SJ, who, Francis appointed on 1 July, as the new Prefect of the Congregation as successor to Cardinal Gerhard Müller. Cardinal Müller had been dismissed the day before by Francis. Officially, his mandate was not extended after the end of his five-year term of office. This had never been the case before. It is generally known that the relationship between Pope Francis and Cardinal Miiller was never really harmonious. For this reason, is why a regular dismissal was suggested.
Giacomo Morandi was at the same time, appointed by Francis as the titular archbishop of Cerveteri.
Morandi's appointment to the Congregation of Doctrine and the Faith took place on October 27, 2015. The date is remarkable, for only two days before, the hard-fought bishop's synod on the family had ended with a half defeat for Francis. Already at the beginning of the Synod, Cardinal Müller, together with twelve other cardinals, had sent a protest letter against a synod, the results of which have already been confirmed.
The appointment date of Morandi to the Congregation followed on 27 October, 2015. Pope Francis' s dismissal of Cardinal Müller was a definite decision. This coincides with the time when Francis marginalized the prefect of faith. At the latest since the end of the Synod, Francis appears to have waited only for the perfunctory end of Müller's term in office.
The present titular bishopric of Cerveteri is from the 5th to the 11th century a diocese in the former church state (Latium). Bishop Marinus was even elected Pope in 882 as Marinus I. Bishop Annisus participated in the canonization of Bishop Ulrich of Augsburg in 993.

"Now There is Even a Pseudo-Ratzinger" -- Sharp Attaks by Ultrabergoglians Against Benedict XVI after Meisner-Requiem

(Rome) Last Saturday the requiem and the funeral of Joachim Cardinal Meisner took place in Cologne. The emeritus Archbishop of Cologne had passed away last July 5th in his 84th year. Benedict XVI Gave greetings to the ceremony, which was read by his personal secretary, Archbishop Georg Gänswein, in Cologne Cathedral. The former Pope's message triggered violent reactions among the Ultrabergoglians.

Cardinal Meisner, who had to witness expulsion from his East German home Silesia as a child, and afterwards more than 40 years of communist dictatorship in Central Germany, is one of the four signatories of Dubia (Doubts) on the controversial post-synodal letter Amoris laetitia by Pope Francis. The four cardinals who addressed five questions to Francis in September 2016 have been regarded as the principal enemy of the papal court and convinced Bergoglians. Undaunted, Cardinal Meisner held fast to the questions which are a critique of the latest developments in the Church. He was "returned home" (Benedict XVI) without receiving from the ruling Pope his answers, and without being received by him in audience, which he had requested along with the other signatories in April.

Convicted shepherds were sought, "who resist the dictatorship of the temporal spirit"

Benedict XVI's greetings were, therefore, particularly badly received in the Pope's circle. The Pope, who had resigned in a surprise in 2013, said in Cologne that the Church "urgently, especially needs  convincted shepherds, who resist the dictatorship of the Zeitgeist, and live and think decisively from the faith."

Benedict XVI did not answer directly to the conflict of the deceased Cardinal with Pope Francis' agenda and the Dubia to Amoris laetitia. Nevertheless, he made every effort to make it clear that he saw Cardinal Meisner as such a "convicted shepherd" who resisted "the dictatorship of the Zeitgeist."

This unmistakable distinction for the man, who, together with three other cardinals, challenged the ruling pope, drove some Bergoglians to be red in the face with anger. This also applies to a further passage in the greeting of Benedict XVI, where he compares the current state of the Church with a boat "almost filled to capsizing". This image was also used in the Missa Pro Eligendo Pontifice of 2005, which preceded the Conclave, where he was elected Pope. Once again, he spoke in 2012 when he blessed the participants in the pilgrimage of the Catholic Action of Italy, who had come to Rome in the year of their faith.

Ultrabergoglians demanded Benedict XVI's silence

Melloni against Benedict XVI.

The reactions could not fail, as some Ultrabergoglians have already bitterly complained to public statements from Benedict XVI in recent months. In connection with a greeting to Cardinal Robert Sarah, Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Order of the Sacraments, which was added as an epilogue to his latest book, "Power of Silence", led the rabid frothing of leading progressive representatives, who have been particularly zealous since the election of Francis as pope. Alberto Melloni, the director of the Bologna Progressive School, and Andrea Grillo, influential liturgist in the era of Francis, clearly demanded that Benedict XVI. be silent.

This, however, can not be forbidden, and he gave a greeting to his secretary, Archbishop Georg Gänswein, which he read in Cologne.

Alberto Melloni, head of the School of Bologna, whose main work, the multi-volume history of the Second Vatican Council, was translated into German at the expense of the German Bishops' Conference, made a poll on Twitter. Melloni doubted polemically that the words came from Benedict XVI. He wrote the disparaging tweet,

"There is a Proto-Ratzinger, a Deutero-Ratzinger and now also a pseudo-Ratzinger with negative allusions to the ruling pope."
Melloni's like-minded historian colleague Massimo Faggioli seconded:

"It would be nice to know who wrote the message of Joseph Ratzinger for the funeral of Cardinal Meisner."

Both regard Benedict XVI's words as a criticism of Pope Francis.

The ghostwriters of Francis and the memory gaps of the pope

It is widely known that Benedict XVI personally, as Pope, wrote by hand all the texts which were important to him. Nothing could have changed in this practice of the frequent author. Francis, who has never written a book, knows, however, that he is using documents with the help of ghostwriters. Have the two Bergoglians, Melloni and Faggioli, perhaps, confused Benedict XVI. with Francis?

Their polemic is aimed at Benedict XVI, who has already resigned from the papacy. It may, therefore, be doubted that the two Bergoglians, with their pages, were alluding to Pope Francis. However, on 16 April 2016, on the return flight from Lesbos, a few days after the publication of Amoris laetitia, he had to admit to the question of the journalist Jean-Marie Guénois of Le Figaro that he could not remember exactly what he had put down in the recently published Apostolic Letters.

On the same occasion, instead of responding to the question of Francis Rocca from the Wall Street Journal, Francis referred to his colleagues: "I recommend you to read the presentation given by Cardinal Schönborn, who is a great theologian. He is a member of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith and is well acquainted with the teachings of the Church. In that presentation your question will be answered. Thank you."

Pope Benedict Warns Church is in Collapse

July 15, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) – Pope Benedict XVI sent a sobering message at the funeral of Cardinal Joachim Meisner today, saying he was moved at the dubia cardinal's ability to "live out of a deep conviction that the Lord does not abandon His Church, even when the boat has taken on so much water as to be on the verge of capsizing."
The Church "stands in particularly pressing need of convincing shepherds who can resist the dictatorship of the spirit of the age and who live and think the faith with determination," Pope Benedict said in a message read by Archbishop Georg Gänswein, his personal secretary and head of the papal household. Because of this "pressing need," Meisner "found it difficult to leave his post."
"What moved me all the more was that, in this last period of his life, he learned to let go and to live out of a deep conviction that the Lord does not abandon His Church, even when the boat has taken on so much water as to be on the verge of capsizing," the pope emeritus concluded.

SSPX Ordain New Priests in Ecône and New Seminary in Dillwyn

On June 29th, the Feast of Peter and Paul, Monsignor Alfonso de Galarreta consecrated twelve priests and six deacons in Ecône.
On July 7, 2017, Monsignor Bernard Fellay consecrated nine priests and six deacons in the United States. It was the first priestly consecration in the new seminary in Dillwyn, Virginia.

The General Superior of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X recalled in his homily the great dignity of the priesthood:

The Priests

In the Holy Eucharist, our Lord gave a means to multiply Himself. There is only one Jesus, one Body, one Soul. And in each host, He is completely, fully there. He multiplies Himself through the real presence. But He hides Himself. For our Lord Jesus Christ, His species is the priest, though the man that is the priest is still present. Our Lord is the priest and the victim. There is only one priest, Jesus. Only Jesus absolves in confession. At Mass, the priest opens his mouth and says, ‘This is My body,’ and it is Jesus speaking. These words do not belong to the man; they belong to Jesus.
The only one who has the might in His words and to produce what He says is God. In Genesis, how did God create? By speaking. By His might He makes what He says a reality.
This might is given to the priest when he gives the sacraments.
When the priest speaks, the whole, infinite holiness of God comes through. The priest’s hands are consecrated – they are dedicated to give blessings. It is beyond understanding what kind of treasures God has deposited to His priests. The priest himself is an incomprehensible sign of God’s love. St. John Vianney said that if we understood what a priest is, we would die of love.
A priest is a mediator, a key, one that reunites God and man after they have been separated by sin. The priest repairs the damage caused by sin. When God chooses a priest, He chooses a victim. It is hard to understand. Our human nature does not like it. But a vocation is a call to be a sacrifice.
Every Mass is a sacred sign of an invisible sacrifice. In a Mass, our Lord Himself perpetuates the sacrifice of Calvary. This sacrifice is consummated with the Communion of the priest. The priest is obliged daily to make this sacrifice. In each sacrifice, we priests offer ourselves. Each priest should say, ‘I am immolated with the sacrifice on the Cross. I am dead with Jesus.’ That is the priest that will cleanse sin from the world. To be a priest is something serious. Modern men want to get rid of sin; they have no sense of sin. They want to get rid of mortification and death. But Our Lady said souls will go to hell because no one makes sacrifices for them. A sacrifice hurts.
Charity, which is love, is difficult to really understand. It is gentle and kind and good, yes. Those God loves the most – look at what He requests of them. Who does God love more than the Blessed Virgin Mary? And we know what God had planned for her.

Cardinal Ranjith Calls For Prayer and Fasting Starting Tomorrow Till July 23rd

The capital region is the most affected area. Mosquito breeding has been made worse by heavy rains. Colombo's archbishop called for “acts of fasting and penance in expiation for our weaknesses and sins."
Colombo (AsiaNews) – Since the beginning of the year, dengue fever has killed at least 225 people in Sri Lanka. It is a real epidemic, the worst ever.
The number of infections nationwide is already 38 per cent higher than last year, when more than 55,000 people were diagnosed with dengue and 97 died, this according to the Health Ministry. The capital region is the most affected area.
In view of the situation, Card Malcolm Ranjith, archbishop of Colombo, called on Catholics in the Archdiocese to observe a week of prayer and fasting, 15-23 July. "Let's pray to the Blessed Mother," he said, "and all the saints, that they may intercede for us at this time of need."
Dengue fever is a mosquito-borne infectious disease. Last month's heavy rains left the cities waterlogged, with puddles and rain-soaked garbage providing ideal spots for mosquitoes to breed and multiply.
This year's strain is particularly dangerous, said Dr Priscilla Samaraweera of the National Dengue Eradication Unit. There is no cure for any of the four strains of the virus, which causes a high fever, weeks of exhaustion and in some cases a vicious skin rash. Patients most at risk of dying are the elderly, children or those with other medical complications.
The authorities are trying to find a solution. Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena urged the public to co-operate with officials trying to fight the disease
In Colombo alone, about 25 teams of soldiers, police officers and public health inspectors were deployed in searching dengue mosquito-breeding places and clearing process door to door and advising people to clear clogged drains and empty outdoor pots that might have filled with rainwater.
In total, the government has deployed 400 soldiers and police officers to clear away rotting garbage, stagnant water pools and other possible mosquito-breeding grounds.
Card Ranjith called on Catholics to hold a novena dedicated to Saint Sebastian, protector against the plague.
"I recommend special prayers at the Holy Mass during the week,” he said, “and the possible celebration of a triduum on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 21-23 July, in al parishes, including an eventual procession and blessing of the statue with our Blessed Mother, Saint Sebastian, and all the other saints known for their powerful intercession in our illnesses."
The prelate also called for “actions of special charity towards the needy, a campaign to eradicate possible mosquito breeding grounds, a clean-up of the surroundings, and acts of fasting and penance in expiation for our weaknesses and sins."
He ended saying, "Let us storm Heaven with our prayers and acts of renunciation, so that the Good Lord may bless our country, save it from this epidemic and grant our people blessings and good health."

Radio Vatican Promoting Women's Ordination

Women at the altar - This is obviously what the German-speaking department of Radio Vatican wants and has published strange pictures on its Facebook page. After protests by Catholics the pictures were removed - PHOTO

Vatican (kath.net) The German-speaking department of Radio Vatican yesterday, again, provoked Catholics with a strange selection of pictures and caused a certain ideological headlines to flash on their website. For example, on the Facebook site, with reference to an article on the Holy Eucharist and the phrase "How was the bread and wine again?" "What is the Body and Blood of Christ? " Strange photographs were published in which various women in civilian clothes are to be seen at the altar with the Blessed Sacrament together with an open sacramentary. Above all, a picture clearly gives the impression that a Catholic priestess is active on the altar.

After protests by the faithful on the Facebook page of Vatican Radio, the photos were later partly replaced or supplemented.

Edit: some may remember the last two times we reported this when they were promoting sodomy.

Evil Editor of La Civiltà Cattolica Attacks Church Militant

Edit: The fact that Spadaro, a man of very dubious orthodoxy but great power in the Church, is angry with Church Militant, is a positive indicator that they are doing the right stuff.  It's a sign of sanctity, even, isn't it?
VATICAN CITY (ChurchMilitant.com) - An influential Vatican advisor is slamming Church Militant as belligerent, an apostolate that employs "shocking rhetoric" to allegedly impose a "ultraconservative" political agenda in Catholic dress.
Father Antonio Spadaro, S.J. is Editor-in-Chief of La Civiltà Cattolica, considered the official voice of the Vatican and whose contents are reviewed and approved by the Vatican Secretary of State before publication. Spadaro is also one of Pope Francis' closest associates and an influential advisor. In an article titled "Evangelical Fundamentalism and Catholic Integralism in the USA: A surprising ecumenism," published in the current issue of the journal, Spadaro goes on the attack against American conservatives, Evangelicals and President Trump, and laments "Catholic integralists" who allegedly insert politics into their work of saving souls.
"There is a shocking rhetoric used, for example, by the writers of Church Militant," Spadaro writes, "a successful US-based digital platform that is openly in favor of a political ultraconservatism and uses Christian symbols to impose itself. This abuse is called 'authentic Christianity.'"
