Italy: Authorities Try to Abolish Christmas, For Real

Edit: After hearing about how a man dressed as a Roman Centurion attacked and substantially damaged an ancient local church in Rome recently,  here's a more uplifting tale describing the constant war against the powers and principalities.  There was a viral meme a few years back that a Bradford City Council in England was abolishing Christmas to mollify Muslims, by referring to Christmas as "Midwinter Festival"?  Still, atheists in Santa Monica have the same idea.

Yes, it's happening again except this time it's Italy and Catholics aren't sitting back, letting it happen and then bemoaning that it happened with the usual resignation easily detectable in Catholic and conservative circles these days in Northern Europe and the United States.

In the province of Caraoso in Piacenza, Italy, a school Principal has overstepped his bounds and will now have to find himself a new job.

This just in from a correspondent about a really interesting situation in Italy where Cultural Marxism attempts to rear its ugly head and is stomped by an angry mob of ordinary Italians.  People in Europe don't appear to be quite as sanguine and passive about the authorities destroying their traditions as are alleged Catholics in the United States.  Nativity scenes are routinely attacked by the ACLU or local miscreants and Anarchists with impunity:

A principle of a public elementary school in the Province of Piacenza decided to ban any mention of Christmas (including the display of the traditional nativity scenes) in order not to "offend" north African students. At which point the parents exploded in protest. The mayor of the town promised to personally deliver 4 nativity scenes and will press to have the principle transferred out of the school. The protests have arrived at the ministry of public education in Rome. Can one imagine such a protest happening in the oh-so-Christian USA? No, one cannot.

Jeff Anderson Flailing in the Waves

Jeff Anderson, the mid-range litigator from the Land O' Lakes, has used all of his evil power to obtain the assistance of Pinch Sulzberger's scandal rag, the NYTs, to publish libelous stories about the Pope. Now he's engaging in a bit of historical wishful thinking, but he's been enriched by colluding with homosexuals in the Church who deceitully were ordained despite Its existing rules against ordaining homosexuals, and no one can take that away from him, not yet, but will he take it with him when he goes to meet his maker?

Sure the money helps Jeff Anderson's ACLU enterprise and his promotion of various Democratic causes, while he simultaneously attacks one of the last remaining bastions of tradition left in the world.

The citation from the following article taken from his website gets at one of the principle reasons behind his "crusade". He's not so much concerned about his abuse victims (well, the money's always nice), but about a forlorn political agenda to destroy the Catholic Church.

The Germans have a saying, "he who eats Pope dies". Jeff Anderson is getting old, let's see how he ends up. Interestingly, some of his foremost potential allies are disassociating themselves from him. Could it be that his inept and hubris tic attack on the Holy See is threatening to discredit the very movements he promotes.

He is certainly feeling the heat. How now, diplomatic history?

For decades the strange practice of treating the Catholic Church as a state has been bad for women's equality, gay rights and reproductive freedom. The Holy See's fictive statehood allows it to promote its retrograde views on gender and sex in diplomatic settings and during treaty negotiations.

Now, the unfolding sexual abuse scandal reveals another dark side of the Holy See's claim to statehood: the extraordinary immunities claimed by the pope in the face of conspiracy accusations that span the globe.

How about the dark side of your soul, Jeff?

Who Killed The New York Times?

Perhaps we have some bias, we'd like to think all the irrational attacks against the Catholic Church, and the support Pinch Sulzberger, the paper's editor, gave to the ACLU shill, Jeff Anderson when he leaked his Wisconsin case to the press to exploit the moral gap left in the institutional Catholic Church by liberal Prelates and their verminous offspring, here, here, here, here, and so on.

No doubt, there's an overarching agenda of Cultural Marxism present at the paper which, while it has attempted to steadily erode the cultural and social framework of the United States and its institutions, is garnering a deserved reputation of unfairness, even unkindness to the truth.

Dissident Priest Continues to Defy Archbishop on Defense of Marriage

Shown at a previous parish in Bloomington,
the Rev. Mike Tegeder serves [served] in Minneapolis.
Brian Peterson, Star Tribune

Editor: Whether Father Mark Tegeder and his aging and decaying Cabrini Parish are supporting Leftist causes with front-groups like the ACLU to fight against voter id registration or promoting unrestricted immigration with all that entails, he can also be relied upon, without fail, to attack his lawful superiors and the rulebook by which he's expected to live as a Catholic priest.

We were watching Father Mark Tegeder, the 68er Revolutionary who has, unaccountably, been a Catholic priest in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis for a very long time. Despite frequent attempts to keep him in check by repeated warnings, the outspoken advocate for sins which cry out to heaven for vengeance, [Genesis 11: 13] he continues on, unpunished.  Until now it seems.

The article by the anti-Catholic 'Minneapolis Star and Tribune' doesn't talk about how he mismanaged his parish or fundamentally contradicts the teachings of the Church to which he claims to represent.  They're more interested in portraying Tegeder as a brave hero facing an implacable hierarchy.

Tegeder currently "ministers" to two communities,Gichitwaa Kateri [Which typically serves a dozen aging 68ers, claiming to represent American Indian spirituality was the creation of another Leftist destroyer, Father Notebaart, now mercifully retired] and St. Francis Cabrini which are well-known for Liturgical abuses and deviation from Church teaching.

Father Tegeder is asked "if it will last", we certainly hope not:
"I'm a good poker player," [card cheat?] said Tegeder.
"But I don't need to prove anything. If [Nienstedt] wants to throw me out, I'm fine with it."
"The intensity of his determination I think is very praiseworthy," said Flahavan. "He's ratcheting it up. A lot of current priests believe he's on the right track, but some think he may have gone too far. Some say he's difficult to work with, which means he's sometimes out there alone."
Flahavan compared the struggle of priests like Tegeder to that of Sir Thomas More, "weighing the promise to obedience against wondering when to cross the line."
I asked Tegeder if he had a Plan B. At first he said no. But just before he got ready to bike through the cold to his home in Richfield, he pulled out his driver's license.

A reader responds:  "Tegeder is the exact opposite of St. Thomas More.  He defended marriage against a tyrannical Protestant King and Tegeder is trying to destroy it on behalf of something even worse."

Professional Catholic Bill Donahue Defends Leftist Prelate

Neumayr asks: What will the Pretty People think if I withhold Communion from powerful pro-abortion Catholic pols? Will the Washington Post editorialize against me? Will I lose my place of honor at posh parties? Will my dissenting priests think ill of me? Will I be scorned at the next USCCB meeting?

Editor:  No, not all, you'll also receive a hit piece by Bill Donahue, gosh darnit!

You Need Some Catholics Dealt With?
Edit:  We've been skeptical of Bill Donahue in the past.  Whether he's invoking hate crimes, or defending the USCCB, he can be counted on to be the Liberal crusader he truly is, although he does try to appear as the man in the middle. He has defended Cardinal Mahony in the past and he tends to resemble a beltway community organizer and professional Catholic than a defender of the Church's reputation he claims to be.  Bill Donahue is a professional activist who has defended politicizing prelates in the past.  Let's be clear.  Cardinal Wuerl crumbled to the the homosexual cabal and betrayed one of his priests just as we'd predicted he would.

Apart from looking at things from this artificial Left-Right continuum, Bill Donahue, who earns  $399,156  a year or so in his ACLU-like vocation, is looking out for the interests of Liberal prelates.  There's simply no way to defend what the disgraceful and traitorous behavior of the Cardinal, especially when he went behind the scenes to ask for Neumayr's dismissal  at the American Spectator for exercising his first amendment rights as a journalist telling the truth to boot.

Despite showing great sympathy, Father Guarnizo was censured and dismissed for simply doing his job for refusing communion to a lesbian Buddhist who confronted him in the rectory before a funeral Mass.  No thanks are forthcoming either to other professional Catholics, like Ed Peters, either.  Ed Peters joined in with other professional Catholics to besmirch the reputation and legitimacy of a great priest who was only doing his job and was well within his rights.

Maybe Ed Peters should resign?

Now, when a layman makes a stern but legitimate case against the furtive and vindictive ++Wuerl, who comes to the rescue, but the rainbow crusader, Bill Donaue!
Neumayr alleges that a priest in Cardinal Wuerl’s archdiocese was put on leave for denying communion to a lesbian at a funeral mass. His version has been contested by the Washington archdiocese [click here]: what led to the sanctions were “credible allegations” regarding the priest’s “intimidating behavior toward parish staff and others.” Even if Neumayr were right, his condemnation of Cardinal Wuerl in the vilest terms is inexcusable [How else are you going to describe how ++Wuerl sent his priest down the river on behalf of a Marxist agit-prop campaign?].
Neumayr says Wuerl is one of those “cufflinked cardinals” who “worry not about punishment in the next world but slights in this one”; their goal, he says, is to curry favor with the “Pretty People.” Worse, he has the audacity to put the cardinal on notice, exclaiming that “Wuerl can only earn the red of his rich robes through a willingness to endure the blood of Jesus Christ’s martyrdom.” Neumayr is not above wallowing in the dirt: he refers to the Washington archbishop as “Wuerl the girl.”  [Maybe you're overreacting, and misrepresenting him a bit Bill in your desire to do a hit piece?  He actually cites several insiders he knows who calls +Wuerl that.]  And in his latest screed, he comes completely unhinged when he charges that Cardinal Wuerl has “exposed the Holy Eucharist to sacrilege.”
I have never met George Neumayr, but it is clear that he is a right-wing fanatic, [You're a leftist shill, apparently] a man whose dogmatism is as scary as the authoritarians on the left. [The only thing that scares me is your ability to change sides on a moment's notice and muddy up the waters.]  On the other hand, I have known Cardinal Wuerl for about 25 years, [That's worrisome indeed] and I have nothing but respect for him. [Interesting admission, we're going to hold you on that, Mr. CDL activi$t]  When I was a professor in Pittsburgh, it was Pittsburgh Bishop Donald Wuerl who got me involved in the Catholic League. Unlike those who hit below the belt and then claim victim status (Neumayr says Noguchi’s phone call to TAShas created “troubles” for him), Wuerl is a real man. That’s the kind of person I like, not the girly-type who hit-and-run and then whine when confronted.

FARC Bombing Kills Mother and 8 Month Old Child

[Colombia] The terrorists of the FARC, its leaders, Piedad Córdoba, Ivan Cepeda and their allies at Alvear Restrepo Lawyers Collective [Like the SPLC or the ACLU but even worse] , these murderers and thieves have now committed an act of barbarism yet again for the admiration and support of the FARC.

They have murdered a girl of 8 months and her mother. They set off an explosion using 6 kilos of plastic explosive, killing the mother, the wife of an official, and her child on the 30th of December, just a few days ago at a police station in Orito Putumayo, near the Equadorian border.

Vatican Plans to Squelch Ambulance Chasing ACLU Shill

Attorneys try to squelch U.S. suit seeking papal testimony on scandal

Wednesday, March 31, 2010 2:51 AM
By Nicole Winfield

VATICAN CITY -- Dragged deeper than ever into the clerical sex-abuse scandal, the Vatican is launching a legal defense that it hopes will shield the pope from a lawsuit in Kentucky seeking to have him answer questions under oath.

Court documents obtained yesterday by the Associated Press show that Vatican attorneys plan to argue that the pope has immunity as a head of state, that American bishops who oversaw abusive priests weren't employees of the Vatican, and that a 1962 document is not the "smoking gun" proving a cover-up.

The Holy See is trying to fend off the first U.S. case to reach the stage of determining whether victims have a claim against the Vatican itself for negligence for allegedly failing to alert police or the public about Roman Catholic priests who molested children.

Homosexual Vampires of Sant Anselmo Italy and Modernist Monastery Coven

What is the loss of innocence worth?

It's a Vampire Coven in Lake Woebegone, and here is yet another child of the night who was caught murdering the souls of poor boys.

A predatory homosexual and fraud, "Father" Francisco Schulte of the Order of St. Benedict lurks like a vampire in locales as far removed as Italy.

St. John's Abbey had promised parents and their two sons who were among Schulte's many victims that he wouldn't hold an active position again, but he is now working since 2003, taking unsupervised trips to Italy at Sant Anselmo where he's been at large.

The man is known to us. He is most certainly a homosexual and a vile heretic.

Of course, this will further the erosion of the Church's spiritual and physical capital and abet the activities of the would-be Van Helsing, Jeffry Anderson and his ACLU war against Catholicism.

George Soros is Funneling Funds to Liberal Catholic Organizations

A flock of carrion birds and packs of liberal Internet wolves, some in sheep's clothing have descended from the dark master's cavernous lair. The atheistic George Soros has been attempting to divide the American Catholic Church still further by relying on existing liberal organizations within the Church, like the USCCB, and the Catholic Campaign for Human Development to promote immorality and politically hamstring the Bishop's ability to preach the Catholic Faith.

Still more interesting in all of this is Soros' connection in this case to President Obama and the Saul Alinsky style community organizing that has been a real wet blanket at Diocesan Offices teaching the Catholic Faith. Sometimes the distinction between these charlatans and diocesan employees is completely blurred.

The critical role of the Catholic Church in passing national health care reform legislation is coming under serious media scrutiny. But the story has taken a strange turn. It has now been revealed that George Soros, the billionaire hedge fund operator and well-known atheist, has been pouring hundreds of thousands of dollars into "progressive" Catholic groups that are significant players in the national debates over health care and immigration.

On the surface, it would appear that Soros would be opposed to many positions of the Catholic Church.

A major financial backer of the ACLU, Soros supports such causes as drug legalization, the rights of "sex workers" and felons, euthanasia, radical feminism, abortion rights, and homosexual rights. He does all of this in the name of promoting an "open society."

But a review of the records of his Open Society Institute finds that a group calling itself

Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good (CACG) has received $200,000 from them over the last several years.

James Todd of Pewsitter.com, which represents traditional Catholics, calls such groups "CINOs," or Catholics In Name Only. He explains, "This group and several others have sprung up recently-I suspect purposely organized and funded-to counterbalance the growing influence of the faithful Catholics AND to try to deceive and mislead the middle of the road Catholics that have determined the last 13 Presidential elections."

St. John's Abbey to mail letter about abuse to prep school alumni

Editor: The word "survivors" sounds so wussy.  The people who were preyed upon by homosexual clergy and have decided to tell about what had happened to them are witnesses and agents of vengeance perhaps, but "survivor" sounds intolerably Marxist.   It's really tragic the way that the people who're involved in legitimate claims are also being used by other agendas, notably anti-religious agendas like the ACLU.  If the Bishops think that by acting like a mouthpiece for the DNC in their frequent pronouncements in favor of Democratic Party foreign and domestic policy, they're in for a rude awakening. In any event, here's what's happening.
COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. [St. Cloud Times] — St. John's Abbey and the survivors of sexual misconduct by current and former abbey members have reached an agreement about the distribution of a letter signed by two survivors and Abbot John Klassen.
Writing the letter and distributing it to former students at St. John's Prep School in Collegeville was a key part of a settlement announced Monday that ended nine of 12 legal actions against the abbey.
However, the St. Cloud Times reports confusion soon developed about how to distribute the letter which names 17 current and former abbey members who have been credibly accused of sexual misconduct.
The agreement jointly announced Friday calls for the abbey to send the letter to anyone who attended the school and has their address on file with the alumni office.

St. John's Abbey to mail letter about abuse to prep school alumni

The Abbey at St. John's was required to publish the perpetrators, but Chicago Archdiocese, with its strange and troubled past, has refused to do so.  Actually, we'd like to see Fr. Andrew Greeley's alleged list of all the Chicago Boys' Club members.  Since he suffered an "accident" recently, we still haven't heard about that list, if it exists or not.

School pays $35K to teen over same-sex prom date ban

A school district has agreed to pay over $35,000 to a teenager whose insistence on bringing a same-sex partner to her high school prom prompted the district to cancel the event. The district also agreed to follow a "non-discrimination" policy regarding teens who call themselves homosexual, a move the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) called precedent-setting, reports Kathleen Gilbert, LifeSiteNews.com.

Constance McMillen has won acclaim from the homosexualist movement after suing the Itawamba County School District over the affair. The school had warned McMillen not to follow through with plans to dress in a tuxedo and bring a female partner to the dance; when McMillen insisted, the school cancelled the whole affair

Vatican denounces European ruling against crucifixes in schools

By Cindy Wooden

Catholic News Service

VATICAN CITY - The Vatican said it experienced “surprise and sorrow” when a European court ruled that the crucifixes hanging in Italian public schools violate religious freedom.

The European Court of Human Rights ruled Nov. 3 that the crucifixes hanging in every public classroom in Italy were “a violation of the freedom of parents to educate their children according to their own convictions and of the religious freedom of the students.”

Father Federico Lombardi, Vatican spokesman, reacted to the decision saying, “The crucifix has always been a sign of God's offer of love and a sign of union and welcome for all humanity. It is sad that it is being considered a sign of division, exclusion or limitation of freedom. That is not what it is and that is not the common feeling of our people.”

In his statement Nov. 3, Father Lombardi said, “It also is surprising that a European court is intervening so heavily in a matter that is deeply tied to the historic, cultural and spiritual identity of the Italian people.”

The case in question bears all the hallmarks of ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) style legal activism which is pointed to by the plaintif's suspicious Finnish heritage and the tactics employed. Finnland has a long tradition of Communism and thanks to just government persecution of Communists there, many Finns have spread to other parts of the world bringing their poisonous political beliefs with them.

Collegeville Monk Paid for Sex With Children

Edit: this story on Collegeville is going national. Evil clergy, the media and ACLU attorneys waltz to the destruction of the Church's reputation.

It's hard to understand why Bishops like Oliveires, Finn, Teberst van Elst, Nienstedt, were dismissed from their positions while men who are far more notorious like Daneels are raised to positions of trust.

St. PAUL, Minn. --  Father Finian McDonald, who for years worked as a counselor at St. John's University, had sex with at least 200 people and paid child prostitutes for sex while abroad, according to documents released on Tuesday.

Attorney Jeff Anderson released the personnel files of five monks and priests who were part of St. John's Abbey in Collegeville.

The five, including two who are now deceased, were previously listed by St. John's Abbey as credibly accused of child sexual abuse. Anderson said the redacted version of the posted on his website, show that priests who admitted battles with sexual urges still had access to potential victims.

Why are Jews trying to Wreck Italy?

This is from an article in 2005 and it demonstrates not only longstanding Jewish intolerance of religious expressions outside of Judaism, but it shows a certain similarity with other planned cause celebs launched by the SPLC, ADL and ACLU. Hello, Saul Alinsky. The Italian government will ignore this judicial bullying.

Italian Jews’ Crucifix Stand

The leader of the Italian Jewish community has called for public displays of crucifixes to be outlawed.

In a statement released last week, Amos Luzzatto, Chair of the Italian Union of Jewish Communities (UCEI) spoke out against the symbols as irreflective of all members of society.

"We do respect the Christian people,” Luzzato said. “But a symbol of divine presence in a public school should be recognisable by the citizens of all faiths and it should address them all in an equal manner.
“Now, since every school hosts citizens with different beliefs or no belief at all, we should rather avoid displaying any symbol".

Silence broken

The new declaration broke the August quiet of Italian politics and followed Pope Benedict XVI’s homily on Assumption of the Virgin Day, August 15.

From his summer residence in Castel Gandolfo, a village on a hill close to Rome, the Pope said that it is important to continuously display the divine presence "through the cross symbol in privates homes as well as in public buildings".

Since the revision of the 1929 Lateran Pacts of between Italy and the Holy See in 1984, the issue of displaying the crucifix in public buildings such as schools, hospitals and law-courts has been controversial and the subject of much debate.

In 2000, the Court of Cassation ruled as illegitimate the presence of the crucifix in polling stations. And, in its court order four year later, the Italian Constitutional Court, recognised that "The mandatory display of the Crucifix in classrooms would violate the state’s duty of equidistance with respect to different faiths and would contradict the need for a neutral public space".

However, the Court has somehow delegated the local authorities to decide whether to display the cross or not.

Rabbi reacts

Rome’s Chief Rabbi Rabbi Riccardo Di Segni, reacted with detachment to the situation.

He declared to the press: "I think there’s absolutely no new official position of the Church on the issue" he declared.

"It is important that the Pope underlined the religious aspect of the symbol. Benedict XVI is a Pope who talks very openly. In the previous polemics some were defending the idea that the crucifix is a cultural symbol (of the Western world); it is clearly not the case and we must take note of this clarification," Di Segni added.

Pro-Homosexual Pastor Fears End of Pension Plan

Pontificating from one of Minnesota's ugliest churches, Father Mike Tegeder, the Archdiocese's most outspoken non-Catholic has come out with guns blazing against the Archdiocese for its attempt to recover legal costs for an abuse claim against one of its alleged homosexual predators; he's right in a way, but wrong in so many others.  It's ironic how this demonstrates the tension which exists between the heterodox homosexual enablers within the official structure of the Church and the ACLU abetting Cultural Marxists on the outside.  The one provides a drum with which the other can perpetually beat.  As with the Scottsboro Boys, never mind them, the outrage of people against the Catholic Church caused by the abuse of innocent boys and children by homosexuals is priceless.

Father Tegeder goes on to also criticize the "Indian Liturgy" at Gitchitwaa Kateri, brainchild of hyper-relavent interior designer of ecclesiastical chic, the now mercifully retired, Father Notebaart:

Second, a letter was sent to all parishioners of the Native American Catholic parish in south Minneapolis, Gichitwaa Kateri, by their pastor suspending all Sunday Eucharists until further notice. He said he was doing it in the name of the Archbishop. The Archdiocese sent out the rather confusing clarification: “... due to a misunderstanding that resulted from efforts to address concerns proper to Gichitwaa Kateri, the Archbishop has directed that Mass not be offered ... until the pending matters might be resolved.” Denying the Eucharist over a “misunderstanding” is unprecedented.

In regards to that alleged "Liturgy," it's unfortunate that it wasn't closed down earlier or that it was allowed to exist for as long as it did.  It would  be an understatement to say of it that it constituted one continuous Liturgical abuse, and it is the only occurrence we know of today where the Archdiocese has closed down a modernist parish rather than the various conservatives ones, despite the false pretext offered that they were not financially sound.

In any event, Father Tegeder goes on also to lament the issue of the pension plan that is drying up because of the collapse of the stock market.  A solution might be to cut liberal priests like Tegeder loose and let them fend for themselves on those Great Society programs they're so fond of campaigning for.  If you payed a settlement to liberal priests who refused to sign and solemnly swear to the Syllabus of Errors, that they hold none of those errors, some of them might actually not do it, and so, an enterprising and prudent Prelate could save tremendous amounts of money and we wouldn't have listen to insufferable sniping from the supporters of the Archdiocese's homosexual subculture.

NCR Blogger thinks Catholic University of America is a "Welcoming Place"

Well, it's probably a good thing that CUA won't get sued by the ACLU because they have created a welcoming environment for Sodomy on their campus, but first, a couple of things. This should inspire you, if you haven't been so inspired already, to cancel your subscription to NCR. Then you should really re-consider paying all that money to send your child to what the authoress below insists is now a "gay-friend" campus called "Catholic" University of America.

Looks like NCR is also going to ride the victimization train in working to legitimize sodomy. The authoress also talks about coming into a world of acceptance after graduation. That's fine, you can have all the acceptance you want in the world, but you're still not happy unless everyone accepts the fact that you want to do what you do. What about all the gay bullying of straight people that goes on in the courts when a homosexual feels they're being persecuted against, they take it to the courts. So if you run a Seminary, a bridal business or what have you, and you don't want to cater to a sodomite's wedding, you can be forced to deal with litigation.

It's just one more piece in the decline of the West.

At the end of my admissions interview for the Catholic University of America (CUA), I asked, “Is this school welcoming for gay and lesbian people?” The interviewer responded simply, “Yes.”

When I walked onto CUA’s campus for the first time as a student, I thought I was walking on to a safe and welcoming campus. Unfortunately, I was wrong.

In my years at CUA, I was called a fag in class. I was constantly reminded about the rules against “homosexual activity” on campus. I was encouraged to live a chaste life by campus ministers. I was asked to resign from leading a women’s prayer group. I was ostracized from campus ministry activities. I was laughed at when I tried to start a support group for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) students on campus. The list goes on.

Attorney Jeffrey Anderson Gets Media Attention But Never Won an Abuse Case

According to Bill Donahue, Jeffrey Anderson has a track record of no wins, although he has obtained significant amounts of money representing victims and alleged victims of sexual abuse. Despite never winning a case, he is very effective in driving the media blitz on the Catholic Church, serving interests which one could discover by simply looking at his poltical contributions and membership in the ACLU as mentioned in a previous article, here.

Even CNN sees the significance of this man in the present media storm.

One lawyer behind many allegations of Catholic Church abuse

(CNN) -- The last month has seen a blizzard of new sex abuse accusations against the Catholic Church from across the United States. Almost all of them -- and the intense media attention they've garnered -- can be traced to one man: a Minnesota lawyer named Jeff Anderson.

Last week, an alleged victim of priest abuse in Wisconsin announced a lawsuit against the Vatican itself. Anderson is representing the alleged victim.

A couple of days earlier, a Mexican man who alleged abuse by a priest years ago filed suit against Mexico's top Catholic cleric in a U.S. court. The plaintiff is another Anderson client.

Homosexual Jailed For Abusing Young Men in Australia

The ABC article takes a jab at celibacy and wonders why the Catholic Church didn't do anything sooner. Moreover it fails to mention that this man was a homosexual. These ACLU, Progressive types don't care about child-abuse, they will reach for the closest weapon, the most convenient one with which to beat the Catholic Church. Never lose sight of that. Of course, this happened on Cardinal Pell's watch.
