Marquette Professor Being Fired for Being Catholic

Edit: the faculty advisors of an allegedly Catholic University have voted unanimously to suspend the last Catholic faculty member on their staff without pay starting on April 1st and subsequently expect him to admit he was doing wrong in defending the Catholic Faith at a Catholic University as one of several humiliating conditions for reinstatement.

The announcement was sent to him on Holy Thursday. Very fitting and a great way to compassionate his Savior, but this  injustice, this evil is surely enough to fool even the elect.

We live in terrible times and it seems they will get worse. What a wonderful thing it is to be persecuted for His sake but we pray for this courageous man's relief and the good of his family as these Bolscheviks divide his garments among them...

[Marquette Warrior] It was announced Thursday,  which was (doubtless intentionally) the eve of the Good Friday holiday, and in the middle of March Madness. Marquette has decided how to punish this blogger for a post that revealed how an instructor in the Philosophy Department bullied a student who wanted to express his opposition to gay marriage in class. He was told “you don’t have a right in this class to make homophobic comments,” and further that it would be “offensive” to any gay students in the class if any such opinion was expressed.

Marquette reacted by telling us we would be stripped of tenure and fired

The Pope's Second Marxist Eco-Religion Video

(Rome) After the "unspeakable" Video (Messa in Latino) in January there is now a second Pope's video is being released, which is being billed again as "The video of the Pope". This time with the prayer intentions of the Pope for the month of February. Again, Pope Francis has personally turned to the world with a message.
The first video was posted on Epiphany, January 6 on the social networks. On February 6, there now followed by the second video.
The intention in the first video with Pope Francis was "dialogue." Whether good or bad, it is crucial that we talk together. These Christians, Jews, Muslims and Buddhists were on an equal footing and the religions were represented as equivalent: the baby Jesus next Menorah, Islamic prayer beads and a Buddha statue. The Pope was accused of syncretistic tendenciesThe theologian Klaus Obenauer wrote, the Pope must choose: either Nathan the Wise, or Jesus Christ .

No prayer intentions but ecosocial behavior instructions

The second video is about the environment, the preservation of the planet and against environmental pollution. In the video the Pope calls for a "change" that "Frees us from the slavery of consumerism."  A "new life" is needed. "Because we need a change which unites us all."
The video is indeed broader than "prayer intentions of the Pope," but the Pope does not call  to pray, he calls for behaviors. The Pope calls for, instead to prayer,  the integrity of creation in terms of environmental protection. His request is: "Take care of the common home". Like the first video there is no question of prayer and prayer requests.
The video was again being disseminated by  the Apostleship of Prayer , an initiative entrusted to the Jesuits. It was produced again by the media and advertising agency La Machi Barcelona, under the supervision of the Vatican Television Center CTV.

Where Are the Retractions on Pope's Love of a Murderous Ideology?

Edit: the following is an editorial by a Catholic Doctor who has seen more than his fair share of this sort of thing. He asks some important questions.

Early on, we were being vilified and called nasty names. We were right the whole time as it turns out.

Creative Minority Report featured the piece:

By Brian Kopp

Please take a look at the trajectory of this most recent story On the Pope and the Marxist crucifix.

Day 1: Catholic apologists for this pope here and in the mainstream Catholic press and some MSM erroneously claim that the pope is offended by the blasphemous Marxist crucifix, recoils in shock and exclaims, "No. That's not right." They further claim the pope rejected this crucifix and returned it to Bolivia. Anyone who reads the story in another light is pilloried and shamed here and elsewhere.

Day 2: Vatican press office claims the pope did not say "No. That's not right," but "I didn't know that". Many continue to believe the original erroneous narrative.

Day 3(?): The pope lays the necklace and pendant with the blasphemous crucifix at the feet of a Bolivian Shrine of Our Lady. Papal apologists claim its a sign of his displeasure and that he gave the larger crucifix back to Bolivia to lodge his displeasure.

And Today:
Pope says he wasn't offended by 'Communist crucifix'
"During a news conference en route home to Rome on Sunday, Francis said he interpreted Morales’ gift through the prism of Espinal’s Marxist bent and viewed it as protest art.

"After taking into consideration the time in which he lived, Francis said: “I understand this work. For me it wasn’t an offense.”

"Francis added that he brought the crucifix home with him." [Source]

Pope Francis Happily Receives Hammer and Sickle "Crucifix" From Marxist President of Bolivia

Update: we received this Rome Reports from a reader. Apparently, the Pope expressed his displeasure, but still accepted the blasphemous article with a smile on his face. Any surprise anyone would be confused?

http://www.romereports.com/2015/07/09/pope-to-bolivian-president-that-s-not-right

We aren't hopeful that the Vatican Press Secretary will offer a satisfactory explanation either.

Edit: here's from the blog of Father Ariel Levi Di Gualdo who has this response to the event where Pope Francis met with Marxist Evo Morales, who presented to him a crucifix shaped like the Marxist hammer and sickle.

[Islodipatmos] Upon seeing this the Holy Father John Paul II, comes to mind. The immediate spontaneous thought: what would happen if during an apostolic visit to one of the many countries he visited during his long papacy, some of head of state had given him a crucified Christ on a sickle and a hammer?

Undoubtedly, many martyrs were "crucified" on the hammer and sickle in the twentieth century, but just what was the true intention of the Bolivian President Evo Morales?

We have no answers to give, but we can pray for all the victims of Communism, asking the intercession of all the saints and blessed who have given their lives for the Church and who were martyred in supreme hatred of the faith from the children of the worst of Marxist ideologues in the name of class struggle that has nothing to do with the Gospel and with the message of salvation contained in it.

Neo-Cardinal Pimiento: "One Can Tolerate Gay Marriage"

(Bogota) He is nearing 100 and will be almost the oldest member of the College of Cardinals, when  Pope Francis will put the purple biretta on his head on February 14.  We are talking about Colombia's neo-Cardinal José de Jesús Rodriguez Pimiento, for almost 20 years emeritus Archbishop of Manizales.
In the current issue of the weekly magazine Semana dated January 11, an interview with  the Cardinal who will turn 96 years old was published in spe. The interview was published under the title "In the name of Francis."
The weekly claims to have conducted the interview because of the cardinal survey.  The named topic is"gay marriage and Cuba."
Semana: What did you feel when you heard the news?
José de Jesús Pimiento: Surprise. I'm not hoping for such an honor, because I have become an elderly and withdrawn person. It is a noble and generous offer of the Pope, that inspires me and acknowledges the work  that I have done. It is a comfort.
Semana: Why do you think Francis has chosen you?
José de Jesús Pimiento: He wants to highlight those who have effectively worked in the ministry. He sees us as models. Although I do not think I'm that, I humbly recognize that honor.
Semana: What was your job?
José de Jesús Pimiento: I have worked in various dioceses and given stimulus to the social work of the Church. I have coordinated the Accion Social Accion Catolica and  done definite work to assist the victims of the tragedy of Nevado del Ruiz. I have twice led  the Episcopal Conference, have been involved with the Holy See on the reform of the Concordat and worked in favor of implementing the Second Vatican Council in Colombia. I could not do everything what I wanted, but at least I moved ideas.
Semana: And what did you do?
José de Jesús Pimiento: I helped, instead of exploitation and capitalism, to solve the problems of the poor, like the excessive accumulation of goods that cause misery in the world.
Semana: Could the Pope also send a message of peace to Colombia?
José de Jesús Pimiento: I do not know if he plans to. In any case, my appointment is a call to Colombia to better understand its spiritual values and preserve them.
Semana: Do you agree generally with Francis?
José de Jesús Pimiento: I was touched because he stimulates the life of the Church. He is a creative shepherd, and knows his thinking on needs   time to apply. Today we encourage the values that humanity needs.
Neo-Cardinal Pimiento "One can tolerate gay marriage"
Semana: What do you think about gay marriage?
José de Jesús Pimiento: The state legislature makes many mistakes. What  the Lord and nature have determined can not be changed. Gay marriage is a  union that can be tolerated, but it is not a marriage.
Semana: What do you say about the work of the Pope in the case of United States and Cuba?
José de Jesús Pimiento: What he has done is not just   political, but the application of the Gospel in the life of  States.
Semana: Are you now living in the Vatican?
José de Jesús Pimiento: I'll stay where I am, in the retreat house of the Foyer de Charité from Bucaramanga and will continue to help those who seek me for advice.
Born in 1919 in Colombia, José de Jesús Rodriguez Pimiento  was ordained a priest in 1941.  In1955 Pope Pius XII appointed him Titular Bishop of Apollinis in Lydia (now Turkey) and Auxiliary Bishop of Pasto. In 1959 he was appointed by Pope John XXIII. to the See of Monteria. As a diocesan bishop, Msgr. Pimiento took part in the rest of the Second Vatican Council. In 1964 he was appointed by Pope Paul VI.  as Bishop of Garzón-Neiva and in 1975 as Archbishop of Manizales. In 1996, Pope John Paul II. acccepted the age-related resignation of the then 77 year old  archbishop. As a delegate, he participated in the II. And III. General Conference of Latin American Bishops, In 1968 in Medellin (Colombia) and 1979 in Puebla de los Angeles (Mexico), he was elected Chairman of the Colombian Bishops' Conference 1972.   It was an office which he held two consecutive periods. After his retirement he returned to pastoral care and worked as a missionary.  For several months he managed his home diocese as Apostolic Administrator. In 2005 he celebrated his golden jubilee as bishop.

Europe Between Sodom and Gomorrha

(Rome) The historian Cristina Siccardi wrote for the Corrispondenza Romana a review of the book " L'Europe tra Sodoma e Gomorra " (Europe between Sodom and Gomorrah) by Danilo Quinto (Arkadia, Cagliari in 2014, 188 pages, € 15). [Ed: The book is not in English yet as far as we know.]
The foreword to the book was inspired by the late legal philosopher and papal critic Mario Palmaro. The last, that he published.  Danilo Quinto was for 20 years a militant representative of  the Radical Party of Italy, from which the former European Commissioner and abortion activist, Emma Bonino began her efforts. Ten years ago he found the Catholic faith through  his present wife and broke with the Radicals.
Is the title of his latest book, pure provocation, or does it really recall today's Europe to the two biblical cities that were punished by God because of the spread there of aberrosexuality and razed to the ground? "Danilo Quinto proves in this book with insightful and well-documented arguments that the comparison is entirely legitimate," Mario Palmaro writes in his preface. "It is a shockingly objective judgment, which not a few contemporaries will be thrown by the concept, who are used to a gentle and lulling politically correct language. And by that, I mean not only those engaged in the construction of a new world in which the criteria  of true and good  are turned on their heads, and work for this project of moral devastation. I also think of many people who are sensitive to the so-called non-negotiable values, whether individuals or institutions that would oppose this destruction of value."

Increase in Sexual Freedom, Loss of Mental powers

In the 70s a crisis of values was spoken of by the substitution of being with having, from the generation gap between children and parents. The idea of the Christian family, with God and His laws into the center, broke down. With a loud voice, on all fronts freedom was proclaimed by the rules: sexual freedom (licentiousness and immorality) to have freedom of divorce, to use freedom of contraceptives, freedom of abortion (murder), female emancipation (Feminism), gender equality, class hatred (envy) were very concrete, while the spiritual powers, those which allowed people to do the best in tests, to make sacrifices,  practice renunciation for a greater good, to perfect oneself, which baptism calls one to sanctify one's own life, was getting weaker and has almost completely lost its meaning and raison d'être.
Just as the good brings forth goods, evil brings out evils: in  2003 the European Parliament called on the Member States, to give same-sex pairs  equal rights. Simultaneously, the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union (Nice, 2000) recognized  for all the right to marry and form a "family". "These are the results of several decades of European secular culture that encourages the human dynamics, rather than to curb and steer. That should be their job, to serve the public good, which is not an abstract, but a thoroughly concrete category, it is the part of life of a community or at least should be. To be used for the common good, i.e. to act in the sense of ethics. Abortion and divorce are considered by the European policy as social phenomena. As such, they are perceived and accordingly can be covered using laws. It's exploitation. The policy uses the things of life, making of it a political instrument," says Quinto.

Race Between the Governments to Make "Demonic Decisions"

The author makes understandable, explained and presented with great expertise. Not only because he knows the history of Europe, not only because he detailed its various problems and the legislation of the various States shows they  try to outdo each other in ruthless and demonic choices, but because the destructive system that is directed against the Christian Civitas, he knows from the inside. Through his years of work in the Radical Party at the side of  radical secularists like Marco Pannella and Emma Bonino 1 he got to know the policies and strategies used in the field, followed by its flagellant machinery.

The author concludes his strikingly truth telling book with the commitment to trust in the intercession of the Mother of God and Virgin Mary, to whom he appeals as a militant and pious son.  "If our God-fearing, Catholic ancestors had seen today's world, they who were aware of the seriousness of the earthly as well as of the supernatural life,  would have been horrified and would have asked Christ  to punish this perverse society, just as Sodom and Gomorrah were punished, "  said Cristina Siccardi.

Cardinal Cipriani: "Müller is a Bit Naive" -- Impulsive Clelia Luro: Has Liberation Theology Really Changed?

Ripping my Collar Off to do some "Real" Theology!

(Rome) on 11 September, Pope Francis received the "Father of Liberation Theology," the Peruvian Gustavo Gutierrez, in audience. Gutierrez had been invited to Rome by his friend, the new Prefect of the CDF Gerhard Archbishop Ludwig Müller. Müller presented with Gutierrez the recently published Italian edition of a book jointly written by the two. There was very little enthusiasm about it given by the highest representative of the Peruvian church, Cardinal Juan Luis Cipriani Thorne, Archbishop of Lima. He described Müller's pretense toward the topic of Liberation Theology as, "a bit naive". The Papal reception for Gutierrez, was also announced by the impulsive-progressive "Bishop's Widow" Clelia Luro, according to her own definition describing herself as a "Pope-friend".

Cardinal Cipriani Behind Cardinal Bergolio

Cardinal Cipriani Criticizes New "Courting" of Gutierrez and Liberation Theology in Rome

Cardinal Cipriani was critical in courting the new Liberation Theology in Rome. It is a purified form of Marxism and Liberation Theology that has become quite toothless, but the word still evokes bad memories, as the "Liberation Theology" in the 70s and 80s, worked as a Marxist idea-gate into the Catholic Church. To those who have concerns, include the Archbishop of Lima, Cardinal Juan Luis Cipriani Thorne. As a Latin American and a Peruvian, in particular,  he really knows exactly  the left slogans that reinterpreted a liberation from sin into a liberation of "social oppression". The South American cardinal is therefore also curt to the Roman "approach" to the theology of liberation, at least on Gutierrez. When asked about Archbishop Curia Müller the archbishop of Lima said, he is "a good German, a good theologian, a little naive." Thus, the unflattering commentary by Cardinal Cipriani last Friday on RPP radio .
"Bishop's"  Widow.

About the audience between  Gutierrez and  Pope Francis, the Cardinal said: "My reading is that he [Müller] wanted to do a favor for his friend [Gutierrez], who is dear to him, wanted to do a favor, and wants to help him in any way, to correct himself and incorporate him in the Catholic Church." According to Cardinal Cipriani, the Pope had only received Gutierrez at the request of Curial Archbishop Müller and not officially.

Francis Pope (front), Cardinal Cipriani Thorne (rear) Cardinal Cipriani: Liberation Theology Caused the Church "Great Harm"

The Cardinal is of the opinion that the unofficial audience was abused last Thursday in order to gain recognition of a theology which has done "great harm to the Church". The cardinal recalled that Gutierrez was never actually found guilty of that in the first half of the 80s by the then Prefect of the Congregation of the Faith,  Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, but he asked him, to "correct two of his books", one of which was the book "Theology of Liberation" which was to give the whole movement  the name. Whether Gutierrez is now "corrected, I do not know," said the Peruvian Cardinal.

The Church, says Cipriani Thorne, had never been closed to the social question and the misery of the people. It belongs to the distortion of liberation theology, claiming to have such an impact, in order to present itself as being the only truly "evangelical" theology. In fact, the liberation theologians, however, have swapped basic truths of the faith.

Pope Francis Has not Forgiven Gutierrez a Discourtesy

The Vatican expert Sandro Magister noted that Pope Francis, has truly received Gustavo Gutierrez but that the position of the Pope nevertheless is clearly distinct from that of the Prefect of the Congregation, Curial Archbishop Müller. As Latin Americans know, Pope Francis is very well aquatinted with Liberation Theology and its seduction. As a Jesuit provincial and even as a bishop in Buenos Aires, Jorge Mario Bergoglio sharply criticized  Liberation Theology. In addition, still playing into a personal touch, there is that the distant relationship to the head of the Catholic Church with Gutierrez, says Magister.

Just the fact that Gutierrez does not appear in the official audience schedule of the Vatican and the Holy See after the meeting with the Pope, issued no opinion as to whether there is evidence of a benevolent attitude that the Curial Archbishop has toward his friend Gutierrez is shared by Pope Francis.

Impulsive "Bishop Widow" and "Pope friend" Clelia Luro Speaks Again

Clelia Luro appears with the picture of her husband Jeronimo Podesta, a former priest, ex-bishop, Marxist Liberation Theologian and probably excommunicated. The rudeness, that the Pope believes Gutierrez to be guilty of, according to Magister, is a grudge, which is admittedly a bit confused because it plays on a very personal level. The source is again, the impulsive Clelia Luro, who, however, shall not be the only one since the election of Pope Bergoglio who was used as a media tool, will call attention to their own interests. In early July, the Argentine widow received a certain noteriety in the German speaking world when the Austrian newspaper, Die Presse quoted her as saying that - in her opinion - Pope Francis will "soon" abolish priestly celibacy. It's a hobby horse of Luros' that has to do with her own personal flaw. A battle the now 87-year-old woman has led for decades. She proudly says that she had called the current Pope as Archbishop of Buenos Aires every Sunday. It's a practice that apparently arose after the death of her husband. Also, since his election as Pope, he had already called her several times, most recently on the 7th of September.

Clelia Luros message was not treated with disinterest. She is primarily a crusader on her own behalf or that of her late husband, around whom everything revolves with her and seeks the "honor" to defend it. Luro is immediately, not only the widow of a former Catholic priest, but a bishop. Her husband, Jose Jeronimo Podesta (1920-2000) was ordained a priest in 1962 and bishop in 1946. As the Diocesan Bishop of Avellaneda, located as a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Buenos Aires, Podesta mixed heavily in politics. The President Juan Carlos Ongania, who gained power through a military coup in 1966, urged his removal. In order to avoid a diplomatic clash, Podesta was led to resign as Bishop of Avellaneda in 1967 and appointed a titular bishop. Podesta continued his political activities, including the Union Christian Peace Conference  (CFRP) steered by the Soviet Union. His political and religious radicalization led to an increasing distance from the Catholic Church. In 1971 he returned back to the Church back and in 1972 he married his secretary Clelia Luro that coincided with his anti-Church, Marxist political and religious struggle in the name of Liberation Theology.

"Bishopess" Mayr-Lumetzberger Received "Apostolic Succession" from Luros Mann

In old age, Jeronimo Podesta was discovered in all sorts of strange circles. These included the Austrian Christine Mayr-Lumetzberger from Linz and the German, Gisela Forster in Munich, both of whom happen to be for women priests in the Catholic Church. They were ordained by a "bishop" Romulo Braschi to become "priestesses" and consecrated "bishops". Braschi maintains for his side to have been illicitly but validly ordained by "Bishop" Podesta. But this in turn is contested by Podesta's widow, Clelia Luro, however. Besides the fact that the "apostolic succession" of would-be bishops is on thin ground, all parties, "consecration" and "sanctified" received excommunication anyway.

Podesta died in 2000 in poverty, but, the tradition, that the then Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Jorge Mario Bergoglio had hurried to his deathbed, who was the only one of the ecclesiastical hierarchy to do so. It is not known whether Podesta had died reconciled with the Church. Clelia Luro anyway confirms in Bergoglio, this gesture as an example of great humanity. From their previous battle positions, however, they have moved little.

Pope to Call Luro on the 7th of September? - Liberation from Liberation Theology?

Clelia Luro made this event public in a letter to Gustavo Gutierrez.  Her letter was published on the progressive Catholic website Redes Cristiana. Luro writes this that she had received a phone call from Pope Francis on the 7th of September. The Pope told her he had not forgotten the impoliteness Gutierrez had shown to her husband, Podesta.

As Gutierrez was to have held a lecture at a meeting of the Association of Priests of the Third World in Cordoba, which also included the former Bishop Jeronimo Podesta, the Peruvian Liberation Theologian was invited to speak, but he refused to give his presentation, "if Jeronimo would have remained in the hall." Gutierrez only began to speak as Podesta had left the room.

In the same letter, Clelia Luro, makes accusations against Gutierrez but also equally against other famous Liberation Theologians, and also ex-priest Leonardo Boff. "If liberation theology brings us to be the judge our brothers, then we would also need liberation from this theology," this was what the "bishop's" widow wrote, utterly moralizing about the ideologues, as she still seems to have militant Liberation Theologians close by her. Brother of Leonardo Boff: "We Should Have Listened to Ratzinger"

(Rio de Janeiro) During these days the media duck made the rounds, the prefect of the CDF, Curia, Archbishop Gerhard Ludwig Müller had called for a "reconciliation" with the liberation theology, the brother of the most famous liberation theologians of the world, Leonardo Boff has spoken up, and in a very different sense.

Liberation theology was one of the worst disasters of the Catholic Church. Its inventors are the theologians Gustavo Gutierrez, a Dominican, and Leonardo Boff, a Franciscan. It was created after the Second Vatican Council and is supposed to interpret and respond to the dramatic situation of mass poverty in Latin American countries. That's as far as the noble intention.

In reality, they mingled with the theology with the current fashion and seemingly unstoppable Marxism. First they justify class struggle, then armed struggle which leads inevitably to violence. And many Catholics, including priests, religious and seminarians have followed this siren song. The result has been great suffering and serious cracks and splits in the Catholic Church by priests who bartered the cross with the machine gun. Clerics, who, instead of following the example of the saints, rather imitated the example of Che Guevara and fought in the guerrilla struggle through the cities and the jungle and were eventually shot by the police or military.

For this reason, the Latin American bishops condemned the contagious Marxist theology in 1979. The same was done in detail, explained by the doctrinal congregation, under the leadership of Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger at the express request of Pope John Paul II, who was from in the Soviet-controlled Eastern Bloc, and was particularly sensitive to the topic. The CDF studied the phenomenon from the perspective of orthodoxy and the social doctrine of the Church. The condemnation was accomplished with two documents: Libertatis Nuncio (1984) and Libertatis Conscientia (1986). In both, it was noted that liberation theology was in a dependent relationship to the Marxist critique of society and is therefore incompatible with the Gospel message.

Leonardo Boff, today, with other colleagues of the anti-Church boulevard magazine Fatto Quitidiano has this intervention Ratzinger never forgiven. He turned his back on the church and began a personal vendetta against them, including through its Brazilian "Base Communities". A kind Brazilian Don Gallo .

Recently Boff was reported to praise again and speak of Pope Francis effusively. And the media habitually gave him quite a hearing. It had been Boff, who had demanded on behalf of the Council, to the media, that "someone like Bergoglio" should not even be admitted to the conclave. The reason for the Boff did not mention, of course, is that Cardinal Bergoglio had met in Argentina Marxist liberation theology up close and dislikes. Bergoglio rejected the theses of Marxist theology and opposed his brothers in the Jesuit order, who joined Boff and Gutierrez. The result was a still ongoing resentment from parts of the Order against Bergoglio. As Boff has never forgiven him for the condemnation of the theology he created, so have some have the same Jesuits never forgiven Bergoglio.

It is interesting in this context an interview that the Brazilian newspaper Folha de São Paulo was held with Clodovis, the brother of Leonardo Boff. Clodovis, a member of the Servites, contradicted his brother:

"In the two documents published by Cardinal Ratzinger, he defended the original core of liberation theology: the commitment to the poor because of the faith. At the same time he criticized the Marxist influence. The Church can't do this. It's not like a civil society where people can say what they want. We are tied to a belief and if someone professes another faith, he closes himself from the Church. From the outset, it was clear the importance was to make Christ the foundation of all theology. In the hegemonic discourse of liberation theology, however, I have noticed that faith in Christ only appeared in the background. The anonymous Christianity of Karl Rahner was a great excuse to neglect Christ, prayer, the sacraments and the mission in which the focus was only on the change of social structures. "
Clodovis Boff, formerly himself a representative of the Teología de la Liberación , who was already critical of it in 1986 and finally distanced from liberation theology in 2007, added: "In the 70s Cardinal Eugneio Sales withdrew my teaching license of Theology at the Catholic University Rio. Sales told me in a friendly way: "Clodovis, I think you are mistaken. Doing good is not enough to be a Christian. The center is to confess the faith ... " He was right. In fact, the Church was irrelevant for us. And not only Her, even Christ Himself "

Undead Female “Religious" Hope for an Indulgent Pope to Aid Their Evil Deeds

Edit: someone has to cause an intervention to address these religious’ issues with addiction, anger, Marxism and sexism. They are clearly in denial about their hatred for the Church and God.

(New York) America's rebellious sisters see a glimmer of hope. At least, they have launched a trial to test whether the new pope takes the rod back from the wall which Pope Benedict XVI had used against them. They are hoping for the "mercy" of Pope Francis, but an act of humility and obedience is completely missing. The sisters have softened but have not budged from their disobedience.

For the new Pope the proud sisters have instead compiled a long list of demands and also the same judgement on the Church and the papacy of Benedict XVI. They "hope with many,” for "another reception and treatment" in the Church, not be be "2nd Class” any longer. The list has called for another “investigation", extends to the remarried divorcees, in whose ranks is to be found also a sister of the Pope, to the homosexual, by modernist theologians up to the rebel priests and of course last but not certainly not least, themselves, the rebel sisters of women religious umbrella organization LCWR, who the Pope has placed in 2012 under provisional administration.

After an apostolic visitation, the Vatican stated that the companies belonging to the LCWR, the U.S. women religious pursued to varying degrees, feminist, esoteric and humanitarian goals that had wandered far from the Catholic doctrine. Their commitment to the "weakest" is partly so selective that on behalf of the "right" of women to abortion they will defend abortion advocates and demonstrate against Pro-lifers.

The rebels believe "hope” to be allowed among other things, because the new pope himself comes from a order. From the mouth of one of the ringleaders, Sr. Nancy Sylvester of the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary of Monroe, Michigan (the sisters have their long ago lost their habit) it sounds like this: "I'm really confident about what he [Pope Francis] has already done and for his entire resume: he is a Pope with experience in line with the religious world." Sr. Simone Campbell, who is known for her speech at the convention of the Democratic Party in the 2012, where the candidacy of Barack Obama has been decided, said generously: "The world has great thirst for a spiritual guide, a 'real' spiritual leader, and I hope that the new pope is really this and not managed by internal political struggles, our business is based there and that is not a question of faith.”

It’s quite different from the view of the American bishops. The chairman of the committee responsible, Archbishop Peter Sartain of Seattle, said in a press conference that they have no reason to believe that anything will change under the new Pope to the position of the Holy See over the breakaway sisters.

The break goes deep through the Church in the United States. The urge to see the Church as a better humanitarian association with some ethical premises, is widely used in progressive circles. The reason Archbishop Sartain sees in this particular pressure is to avoid questions of doctrine or only selectively appeal to them, in order to avoid even the question of concrete consequences.

Father Guarnizo Explodes Vatileaks Suggestion Behind Pope’s Resignation

Edit: this is from Restore D.C.-Catholicism, which is publishing an interview with the courageous Father Guarnizo in Rome about the Vatileaks, who was himself the victim of a Soviet-style campaign of slander and character assassination, even on the part of his own superiors.  As it turns out, there were no leaks or original documents behind the stories attempting to discredit Benedict XVI.’s papacy and the journalist who originated the story even admitted as much.  Of course, the paper founded by Communist Antonio Gramsci is behind the whole thing.

HotAir.com interviewd Father Marcel Guarnizo a few days ago regarding the "leaked vatileak dossier" debacle.  I present that interview below.  One comment.  At one point you'll hear Father remark that the Vatican Curia is much more reliable than some of the local Catholic Conferences.  I think Father is way too charitable - to the local conferences, that is.  The United States Catholic Conference of Bishops has been downright inimical to the True Faith, having had the paw prints of both the late Cardinal Bernardin and Saul Alinsky all over its founding.  It's high time to throw that monstrosity in the dung heap.

Liberation Theology Will Get a Boost if Cardinal Turkson

Edit: right now, he’s the most favored to be the next Pope. This article identifies some of his political views which are in line with Liberation Theology and Marxist thinking. Right now Cardinal Turkson is the overall favorite to be next Pope according to Paddy Power, despite attempting to take himself out of the running by telling the press what he’ll do when he becomes Pope.

There is a world where it is possible to ‘wipe the tears from the eyes of those who suffer injustice‘. So says the man tipped by many to become the 294th successor to St. Peter as Pope and spiritual leader of the world’s one billion Roman Catholics.

Cardinal Peter Turkson of Ghana, who currently serves as president of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, is a renowned champion of the poor and marginalized.

In a lecture at Durham University Centre for Catholic Studies two years ago, Cardinal Turkson argued that:

“…despite the naysayers, economic resources do exist that could help wipe the tears from the eyes of those who suffer injustice, who lack the basics of a dignified life, and who are in danger from any deterioration in the climate.”

In a call to action, he added that the poor “benefit from champions in solidarity who believe that injustice can be reduced, that harmonious relationships can be fostered, that our planetary ecology can be made sustainable, that a world of greater communion is possible”.

In October 2011, the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace he heads set out a radical critique of global financial arrangements, which skew wealth and power away from developing countries.

Another Bishop with connections to Ghana is Bishop Terry Steib S.V.D. of the Diocese of Memphis Tennessee in the USA. Interestingly, the coat of arms shows a connection to Marxist causes of black power movement and East Germany.

It’s not surprising that this Bishop is a very enthusiastic supporter of aberrosexuality.

Part of his coat of arms even has a red chicken, symbolic of the Convention People's Party of Marxist agitator  Kwame Nkrumah, who was backed by the Soviet Union

Here is a description of Bishop Steib’s coat of arms, since none of the examples on line can be blown up successfully to give a decent picture:

The arms of Bishop Steib feature a tri-colored field - black, red, and green - which recalls the Flag of the Black Liberation Movement [represented by the cockerel]; this in turn is based on the Flag of the nation-state of Ghana, whose independence in 1957 gave rise to the general decolonization of the African continent. The colors represent, respectively, the great people that has sprung from this land, the blood shed in its defense, and the green plains of Africa. [It looks a lot like the flag of Communist East Germany, too]

Holy Father Breaks Taboo in Mexico, "Viva Christo Rey"!

(Mexico City) After a moving encounter with children on Saturday evening on the Plaza de la Paz, Pope Benedict XVI's Sunday was dominated in Mexican Leon by something uncustomary for European ears, and a courageous commemoration of the anti-Catholic persecution and resistance of the Cristeros.  The Pope recalled and reawakened the threatened spiritual and  clerical roots of Mexico, which he stressed at his Angelus.  The threat also comes today "from the drug bosses, the crisis of values and criminality."

In a spontaneous action, the Pope received eight families outside of the official program, who had been victims of the drug bosses.  Despite the threats of some political parties, Pope Benedict XVI did not shrink back in fear from demanding religious freedom as a fundamental right.   Mexico is readying itself for its next election and the appearance of the Catholic Church's Leaders causes increasing nervousness for some parties and have brought blatant anti-religious emotions to the surface.

The Pope Recalled the Persecution and Struggle of the Christeros

Upon the "Angel of the Lord" the Pope recalled the anti-Christian persecution in Mexico and the armed struggle of the Cristeros, who fought for the freedom of the Church and religion in a bloody war 1926-1929.  Benedict's desired address breaks a central taboo in Mexico.  In political and public life in the Middle-American country it was virtually forbidden to speak of the horrific persecution of Christians in the previous century,  when the people were ready to name Christ their true Lord,  the Mother of God and to give everything.

"In the times of trial and of suffering many of you were called to be martyrs, who with the cry. 'Long Live Christ the King and Mary of Guadalupe' bore lasting witness to the truth of the Gospel and the devotion to the Church."  With the revival of the battle cry of the Cristeros "Viva Christo Rey! Viva la Virgen de Guadalupe", Benedict XVI impressed his special and completely unexpected stamp and broke a decades long taboo.

Knights of Columbus Confront Occupy Vatican

Edit: I knew there was a reason for the Knights of Columbus.

VANCOUVER — More than a dozen protesters left the Occupy Vancouver demonstration and stood face to face with church officials over the weekend at the downtown Holy Rosary Cathedral as a planned march to "Occupy the Vatican" made it to the front stairs outside the building before being thwarted.

On Sunday afternoon, up to six Catholic-sponsored Knights of Columbus — as well as a handful of Vancouver police officers — stood guard at the top of the concrete stairs as a breakaway faction of Occupy protesters shouted slogans and demanded answers for atrocities committed at residential schools in years past.

The breakaway faction claims the church sits on native land.

Two Bonus Army Veterans Killed by the Ruthless US Army

Edit:  The recent severe injury of a two time Iraq war veteran, because of the alleged actions of the Oakland Police, has sparked some controversy.   It isn't the first time war veterans have taken part in protests in the United States.  In fact there was another protest called the Bonus March in 1932 when ten thousand war veterans along with their families camped out in Washington in the spring and the summer.  If ten thousand veterans with clear and respectable demands weren't satisfied back in the midst of the depression, it's unlikely that an unruly gaggle of assorted and conflicting interests who have no clear agenda, is going to accomplish anything either.

Back in 1932, General Douglas MacArthur was called out by President Hoover to crush the Bonus March.  Two war veterans were killed in the skirmishing involving tanks, cavalry, infantry and tear gas.  So not only were the demands of these people not met, but  the demonstrators were also chased out of their shanty towns with their wives and children in tow while their shelters and all of their possessions were burned down.

Occupy Wall Street isn't going to end any better.  Presently, the Oakland one has been cleaned up. Note:  All you need are jail cells.

The Passion of Cardinal Mindszenty

Cardinal Mindszenty -- a Priceless Grain of Wheat

Munich (kath.net/KIN) Father Werenfried van Straaten, founder of  the worldwide Catholic assistance organization "Kirche in Not" [Church in Need] preached free of charge on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the year about the popular resistance against the Soviet occupation of Hungary  began on 23. October 1956.  This talk was related to the fate of the Hungarian József Cardinal Mindszenty and his example for today.

Father Werenfried knew Mindszenty personally and visited him during the uprising on the 30th of October 1956.  The talk is only available now in a CD recorded on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of +Mindszenty's death in 1985 and praised him as a "priceless Hungarian grain of wheat".

The former Primate of Hungary is said to have "taken a cross on himself such as hardly any other Cardinal had to endure", said Father Werenfried.  After his incarceration by the Communist Regime on the 26th of December 1948, he was tortured for a week.  "On nights he was beaten with a rubber truncheon and by day he was prevented from sleeping", said Werenfried.  "So he was destroyed as a man, and appeared through the peep-hole in the door as one dead."

After his release +Mindszenty finally, as Werenfried criticized, became an "was sacrificed as an object of exchange in Ostpolitik to the illusion of the diplomats ."  "He had to leave his fatherland and was maltreated exactly as God's own son, who took the form of a slave and was obedient even unto death on the Cross."  That a "spiritual giant like Cardinal Mindszenty" was subject to this obedience, is a sign of his great holiness, stressed Father Werenfried and appealed to his listeners, never to be sparing, when it so happens, to help persecuted and oppressed Christians:

"We, who bear the smallest part of the cross of Christ, remain poor for eternity, if we don't take the greatest part of the love, that which the persecuted Christians need, to take as our charge.  While our brothers are washed in blood and tears, we will be tested in love.  If we are not eager in our superabundance and not heroic in our love, then we must tremble in our eternity."

To awaken this love in men, is the mission of the organization "Kirche in Not", said Father Werenfried, and warned therefore, that the persecution of the Church worldwide is a "symptom of a spiritual battle not unleashed by men".  With a view to the situation of the Church in the West he declared:

"For decades, the Faith has only been preached reluctantly and every has been done, to undercut God's Commandments.  People have ceased in the battle against evil and aligned themselves with perversions, which the fallen man feel enamored of."

Werenfried criticized further, that the defensive system of our society is disconnected by this false pacifism.  "The result of this infection is death", insisted Werenfield and said, "the less one believes in the Devil, the more dangerous he becomes."

Alleged Assassin of Marxist Prelate Found?

Edit: Beatifying this man is a real loser. He wasn't so much a "voice for the poor" as the kath.net article states, he was an agent of Soviet Foreign policy in Central America.

Bodyguard of a high Military official is supposed to have shot the Archbishop of San Salvador during Mass.

San Salvador (kath.net/KAP) There has been a sudden turn in the 1980 case of the murdered Archbishop of San Salvador, Oscar Arnulfo Romero. According to media reports there has been a revelation about the identity of the suspected perpetrator after more than three decades.

According to the newspaper "Colatino" it was the act of a a former member of the Army. Marino Samayoa Acosta, then a Non-Commissioned Officer of the National Guard, is supposed to have shot +Romero in 1980 with a precision rifle during Mass.

As the newspaper reported, the son of the politician and Colonel Arturo Armando Molina, tapped his father's bodyguard to do the job -- he was President from 1972 to 1977. Samayoa is said to have been the best shot in his unit.

Dali Lama Admits He's a Marxist

Usually what we hear from the Dalai Lama is an insistant yet soothing voice for compassion and peace.
So Tsering Namgyal, a journalist based in Minneapolis, was jolted by the Dalai Lama's talk to 150 Chinese students this month at the University of Minnesota. Writing at Religion Dispatches, he says:
Midway through the conversation, His Holiness, much to their surprise, told them "as far as socio-political beliefs are concerned, I consider myself a Marxist ... But not a Leninist," he clarified.
After all, China is constantly pressing to legitimize its takeover of Tibet in world opinion. Meanwhile, the Buddhist spiritual leader is the global symbol of Tibetan opposition and what the opposition considers the obliteration of its independence and religious culture.

Madame Nhu, First Lady of Vietnam, RIP

Editor: She was the brave and sharp witted First Lady of Vietnam. She was a devoted Catholic who deserves our prayers. We'll try to write a better obituary here for her than what she'll get from the Marxist New York Times. So it almost goes without saying that she has been unjustly maligned by the media for more than fifty years. She is almost universally referred to by enlightened and culturally sensitive leftists as "Dragon Lady", although she was herself a woman of high birth, being of the Imperial Family of Vietnam, and great intelligence. Her life has been bitter and tragic as she has lived in exile for most of it, owing to her country being stolen by Bolshevik thieves and the incompetent bungling of the Eisenhower, Kennedy and Johnson Administrations. Her brother-in-law was the most Catholic, courageous and interesting President of the Republic of Vietnam, Ngô Đình Diệm. Like many other Catholic leaders, he was assassinated, leaving the Communists reportedly shocked that the Americans could be so stupid.

She has little love or sympathy for the United States, which is understandable considering the way she was treated by our local Marxists in the press corp. As an interesting aside, it was her comments about Buddhist monks incinerating themselves, and her witty remark that indicted the Monks of hypocrisy, which they used to portray her ever after as "The Dragon Lady". Indeed, the way her sharp remarks were portrayed in the American press, she sounded vain, stupid and quite frankly, redolent of certain stereotypes held by the protestant mind-set in the United States about Asians. Her treatment by these journalistic Quislings reminds us of another brilliant Catholic Lady who suffered a like treatment from similar journalistic types almost two centuries earlier in 1789.

H/t: Tom

A nice profile of her by Mad Monarchist.

"The Dragon Lady" as she came to be called, was also a passionate anti-communist and was determined that women should play a leading role in defending their country from Communist infiltration. She formed a corps of women warriors and there is a famous photograph of her at their training ground, firing a .38 pistol for the first time. That event sums up a great deal of her character. Having never used a firearm before she was startled by the noise of the first shot. Laughing it off, she vowed that she would not flinch again and fired the remaining five rounds as though she were an expert. She also fostered a renewal of commemorations for the Trung Sisters, the heroic co-Queens of early Viet Nam who fought against Chinese occupation.

Two German Attorneys Charge Benedict With Crimes Against Humanity in World Court

Once again invoking the rare instance of sexual abuse in the Catholic Church, they have an agenda to promote.  It's the only institution left in the world which is standing against their dictatorship of relativism.
TWO GERMAN lawyers have initiated charges against Pope Benedict XVI at the International Criminal Court, alleging crimes against humanity.

Christian Sailer and Gert-Joachim Hetzel, based at Marktheidenfeld in the Pope’s home state of Bavaria, last week submitted a 16,500-word document to the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court at the Hague, Dr Luis Moreno Ocampo.

Their charges concern “three worldwide crimes which until now have not been denounced . . . (as) the traditional reverence toward ‘ecclesiastical authority’ has clouded the sense of right and wrong”.
