President of the Catholic Medical Association Says Hand Communion is More Infectious Than Communion on the Tongue

Prof. Filippo Maria Boscia, President of the Catholic Medical Association: "Hand Communion is more dangerous than oral Communion".

(Rome) Numerous Episcopal Conferences around the world, including those of the German-speaking area, have forcibly introduced [sacrilegious] hand Communion in Novus Ordo. They justify this with protective measures against the Coronavirus. This is contradicted by the President of the Association of Catholic Doctors, Prof. Filippo Maria Boscia.

The usefulness of state radical measures is increasingly being discussed. The same applies to the proportionality of episcopal requirements, which have been made a condition for the re-opening of public Masses.

The doubts range from a distorted re-discovery of the Ostiarian [Porter] to the registration requirement and disinfection, to masks in the sanctuary. Concerns revolve not least from a climate of fear and insecurity that is fostered by this, with which the Church runs the risk of dragging fearsome people even deeper into a spiral of fear, instead of using reason and moderation to correct the out-of-control standards.

At the centre of the criticism, however, is the compulsion to communion in the hand, which was decreed by the bishops. Over the past 50 years, there has been a real re-education in the German-speaking area when it comes to receiving communion. In 2020, many Catholics no longer know that the proper form of Communion is on the tongue. Hand Communion is only a tolerated exception, which was at first initiated by the German bishops against the Holy See with open arrogance, similar to what is happening today with de facto recognition of divorce, second marriage, intercommunion and the blessings of aberrosexuals. The result is numerous sacrileges and disturbing scenes, such as the Requiem for Bishop Kurt Krenn in 2014 in the Cathedral of St. Pölten when a believer knelt down to receive Communion, and the priest who was dispensing Communion told her not to "flaunt herself".

Under the pretext of the Corona crisis, the bishops made a formally tolerated exception a compulsion and completely got rid of the normative form of receiving Communion. If there is a lack of understanding among the faithful, it is because the clergy have already lacked it. The Church is understood hierarchically, which is why the crises start from above, not from below.

Prof. Filippo Maria Boscia, President of the Association of Catholic Doctors in Italy, disagrees with the bishops. Hand communion is by no means safer, but on the contrary, more contagious, according to the well-known physician.

He was very glad that public Masses were allowed again. It is right and important to protect health. Now, however, a discussion about the distribution of Communion has broken out.

"The problem that worries us all, we doctors first, is the spread of viruses. What is certain is that the hands are the part of the body that is most exposed to viruses because they grasp everything from infected things to money. There are people who are obsessed with the idea being infected and getting sick. I would like to tell you an anecdote about this:

At the beginning of my career, a fellow doctor handed me an elegant fountain pen so that I could sign a certificate. He didn't want it back because I had touched it and he gave to me. Since the situation embarrassed me, I bought him another fountain pen, but he didn't want it either, because it would probably have been touched by many before me and him. So I now had two elegant fountain pens. But he contracted a virus and died, perhaps because he lacked the antibodies."

Now to the question of receiving communion.

"Communion on the tongue is safer than hand Communion. The hands, as I said, touch everything. Hand Communion is therefore definitely more contagious. In Africa, I performed interventions in an operating theatre on a dusty road. No favourable conditions, but no one got sick. It wasn't a risk for these people.'

At the moment, many voices are heard, even the proposal to introduce tweezer Communion from Germany.

"Yes, I read that about the tweezers. Also the proposal to distribute the Consecrated Hosts in small envelopes to take away. Seriously, after the Spanish flu, we continued to practice oral Communion, and it was all the same as before. I think we are crossing the line of common sense. We should not be chasing certain things. Yes, health is important, no question, but no to exaggerations and extravagances. As a doctor, I am convinced that hand Communion is less hygienic and therefore less safe than oral Communion. Apart from that, are we not told every day not to touch everything, to wash our hands, to disinfect, not to let our hands touch the face, the eyes, in the nose? We have to follow some healthy rules that are helpful. We have no fears and speculations, let alone chasing commercial interests."

The so-called Corona deaths in Italy are on average 80 years old. In some countries, even a little older.

"Fragility has always accompanied the last stage of our life, in which our health is more vulnerable. I do not want to go through a court case in terms of the treatment of patients. If I were to make criticisms, I would address them to the families. Many of the dead have died in retirement homes. In many cases, the families have deported their loved ones there. I wonder: Why didn't you keep them with you? At a certain age, people need far more humanity than any treatment. Unfortunately, there is a tendency to outsourcing and hospitalization. In doing so, we have sterilized and standardized the transitional rites, but dehumanized them and thereby lost the sense of compassion for the pietas in the true sense of the word."

Viennese Pornokardinal Schönborn Complains About John Paul II

Edit: being a specialist at covering up sexual abuse in Vienna, promoting Islamic invasion, promoting Freemasonry, selling porno and running the Church down, he's not one to talk.  Gloria.tv has it right about John Paul II. He had terrible appointments.

[Gloria.tv] Vienna's Cardinal Schönborn, who could not praise John Paul II enough in his lifetime, attacked him for his 100th birthday.

Talking to the Vienna diocesan newspaper, he criticized John Paul II’s choice of bishops and his “inability to cope with the abuse scandal." Schönborn was made a bishop by John Paul II.

He complains that John Paul II sometimes appointed bishops "bypassing all institutions," although, with Francis, whom Schönborn adores, this has become the rule.

Schönborn concedes that this method has also led to "great bishop personalities". As an example, he names the anti-catholic Milan Cardinal Carlo Maria Martini (+2012).

John Paul II appointed almost exclusively modernist and occasionally neo-conservative bishops. The latter - for example Schönborn - are loyalists without convictions who adapt their ideology to the respective regime.

There's a Site That Celebrates Evil Architecture Like the Modernist Monastery

Edit: I had to look at this a couple of times.  I blinked.  There is actually a site which is trying to save Brutalist architecture.  #SOSBRUTALISM.

#SOSBRUTALISM #SOSBrutalism is a growing database that currently contains over 1,800 Brutalist buildings. But, more importantly, it is a platform for a large campaign to save our beloved concrete monsters. The buildings in the database marked red are in particular jeopardy. This is an unprecedented initiative: #SOSBrutalism is open to everyone who wants to join the campaign to save Brutalist buildings! It is a powerful tool that allows fans of Brutalism to communicate with one another across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr etc. You can follow our social media feeds below.
Interestingly, they are taking note of Brutalism's "bloody mindedness".

…what characterises the New Brutalism…is precisely its brutality, its je-m’en-foutisme, its bloody-mindedness. Reyner Banham, 1955

#SOSBrutalism has also led into an exhibition which has been jointly organized by the Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM) and the Wüstenrot Stiftung. It was on display at the DAM, Frankfurt am Main, Germany, from November 9, 2017 until April 2, 2018. With 47,000 visitors it was a great success, including a wide press coverage in print, radio and German prime time TV news. “SOS Brutalism – Save the Concrete Monsters!” is currently travelling. The first venue was Vienna with a new chapter on Austrian Brutalism: Architekturzentrum (Az W), May 3 until August 6, 2018. Stay tuned for future updates.

They even wrote a review of the Abbey Church at Saint John's Abbey in Collegeville.  What other kind of architecture would you expect to be associated with a den of vampires?

Collegeville, Minnesota, USA, Show on map #REL #CastInPlaceConcrete #FoldedPlate #North America
This edifice is part of a large Benedictine monastery and consists of a trapezoidal nave and a bell tower the shape of which is itself reminiscent of a bell. With the sculptural use of exposed concrete on a monumental scale, the church is considered a key item in Breuer’s oeuvre (Breuer’s first religious building), and in North American church architecture per se. Here, for the first time, there is a massive, rough-walled interior and thereafter the folded plate walls became an ever more prevalent feature. In Europe, there is nothing comparable at that time, either.
Heritage-listed since 1979.

Jesuit Spadaro at Civiltà- Cattolica Says Catholics Aren't Being Persecuted

Edit: pay no mind to the man behind the curtain.

(Rome) Fr. Antonio Spadaro SJ, one of Pope Francis' closest confidants and the head of the Roman Jesuit magazine La Civiltà Cattolica, provides an official reading of the radical measures taken because of the Coronavirus, which has strangled the sacramental life of the faithful on an unprecedented scale. In the editorial "Pandemic and Freedom of Worship" of the new issue of the magazine (issue 4078), which will be published on Saturday, Spadaro emphasizes that the months-long suspension of the Mass is "not a religious persecution" because the Church was "never closed".

It is the intention of the article, which appears shortly before the re-admission of public services in Italy, which will apply from 18 May, to defend the alliance between the state and the Church, which was almost self-imposed at the end of the day in the Corona crisis, with the Church having the unsuitable role of a state servant.

The ban on religious celebrations is "usually" understood as "discrimination or even persecution," Spadaro says. In the current case, however, this is not the case, Spadaro said. The Roman Jesuit magazine always appears with explicit permission from the Vatican Secretariat of State, with Pope Francis personally taking over the role of censor in contrast to his predecessors on articles that are important to him.

The printing permit confirms that Spadaros's reading is that of the Holy See. Spadaro becomes even clearer: "This does not seem to be the time to invoke a misunderstood 'civil disobedience'."

The Pope's confidant wants to say:

"The current restrictions are legal and acceptable from a human rights point of view. We believe that the protection of the weak and vulnerable is also very important from a religious point of view and must therefore be reconciled with the need for community and assembly. The measures are aimed at protecting human life for both believers and other members of society. it is therefore important to recognize that the prohibition of meetings, including religious celebrations, should not normally be understood as religious discrimination or even persecution."

The official, if only official, reading of the Holy See on the radical measures of secular and ecclesiastical authorities differs in essential points from the sensational appeal of Veritas liberabit vos of a group of well-known cardinals, bishops and intellectuals, including the former Prefect of the Roman Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Gerhard Cardinal Müller. In it, they expressed concern about the radical restrictions, rebuked the uncritical, even propagandistic behavior of many mass media, and expressed fears that the Coronavirus could be used as a pretext for certain forces to reach for world domination through the establishment of a world government.

Spadaro does not mention the appeal. The positions are too far apart, and the Vatican does not want to be associated with such criticism. In recent years, a great deal of time and energy has been spent to get closer to these very forces that are meant in the call. Therefore, official Rome does not even want to promote this by mentioning the concerns and concerns mentioned in Veritas liberabit vos. Their effect on the people is feared. Spadaro therefore prefers silence.
However, he also mentions criteria for the restrictions imposed because of the Coronavirus:

'However, all restrictions on fundamental rights must have a legal basis, necessary, proportionate and generally proportionate to the purpose they serve and the law they restrict. The threat of Covid-19, however serious it may be, does not free governments and parliaments from these requirements."

However, a closer examination of whether these criteria have been and will be met, the secretary of the Civiltà Cattolica only applies the state measures to a limited extent, and where he does so, this is done in agreement. Given the large number of steps taken by individual governments, it would also be difficult to discuss the situation in broad terms. However, a number of measures are similar, just as the slogans issued are largely identical, even identical. Which suggests a common handwriting. A summary assessment would therefore be quite conceivable. If Spadaro does not attempt to do so, it confirms the basic intention of the editorial.

The head of the Roman Jesuit editorial board instead refers to the measures to restrict religious freedom, which recently caused considerable unrest in Italy. Initially, in the course of the so-called "Phase 2" from 4 May, the government had also promised to re-open public services, but then categorically ruled them out. Pope Francis had to intervene to soothe the displeasure of the bishops. The government then announced that it would be re-approved by the end of May, and then it agreed on 18 May.

Spadaro also responds to this:

Voices of the "various religious communities" had wondered "whether all measures of the lockdown were proportionate. On the other hand, because of the urgency and danger, governments had to make very serious and far-reaching decisions in the short term, which put a huge burden on them in terms of responsibility." An allusion to the fact that, for example, in Italy, the Corona measures were adopted by the government by mere decree of the Prime Minister, but without law. From a formal point of view, an entire country was paralysed by a mere administrative act and a 60 million people were taken hostage by state. Spadaro does not say that, but the reference to the "administrative act" at least makes it sound ominous.

Defence of government measures

In his editorial, however, he defends the radical measures taken:

Society must be "aware that the present restrictions are mainly for the moral imperative of protecting human life and are not used for other political purposes." They are to be understood in this way and exceptions are exceptions:'except in some regrettable cases'.

The fundamental approval and moral legitimacy of the state coercive measures is the common thread of the editorial:

"While in democratic states it is always necessary to scrutinise and monitor government measures, especially when they restrict fundamental rights, this does not seem to be the right time to invoke what would be a misunderstood 'civil disobedience'."

Finally, the ecclesiastical clean bill of health follows:

"Underestimating the health authority's claims would be irresponsible," he said.

This does not include a critical questioning of the significance, risk and extent of the Corona threat. Spadaro also expresses no concern about misleading scaremongering by government officials, experts and the media, for example, by repeatedly calling corona-positive people "sick," although all previous surveys show that no more than 10 percent of those infected fall ill with Covid-19. The virus is one thing, the disease (Covid-19) is something else.

It is only after his defence of the state restrictions that Spadaro says that it is "important":

"(...) governments provide ad hoc measures to enable believers to participate in the culture, in compliance with safety conditions based on the course of the epidemiological curve. The spiritual needs of religious communities, which contribute with their values to ensuring social stability and cohesion, must not be neglected."

The creation of a precedent

Implicitly, with the editorial of Pope Francis's close confidant, the Civiltà Cattolica calls the government's drastic interventions a precedent, which means that governments will in future be allowed to ban public services in the event of "health necessity." Since fewer people have died with and from the coronavirus in many countries, including the entire German-speaking area, than in a seasonal flu wave, this could also justify a permanent lockdown in the winter half-year, which paralyzes the world in every flu season. Moreover, no severe-mortality has been detected so far, not even in Italy, which plays a central role in general perception and media coverage, although in Belgium far more people are counted as "Corona deaths", as well as in Spain, and the United Kingdom is in the process of equating with Italy.

Spadaro does not ask questions about what is so different about the that it justifies such a radically different approach. Above all, it does not ask whether the assumptions used have been true. Nor about selective information policy, including the retention of important figures by the governments of different countries, the omission of important verifications, for example through antibody testing, and the conspicuously aggressive attitude towards critics.

The editorial, which is used to support the radical state and Church measures, ends with a statement that seems to be fundamentally correct, but in the overall context free in the air:

"The Church, if it really is the same, is never 'closed'"

Hutton Gibson Has Died

Edit:   a reader just told me that Hutton Gibson has passed away.  Here's an obit from Father Moderator who is close to the deceased.

Hutton Gibson, father of actor-producer-director Mel Gibson and ten other children, and an outspoken traditional Catholic, who rejected both the heretical Newchurch of the New Order and the Society of St. Pius X, died (not of the Chinese Virus) on May 11, 2020, at the age of 101, having been born on August 26, 1918, three months before the armistice ending World War I was signed. He himself was a World War II veteran, serving with the United States Marines at the Battle of Guadalcanal against the Empire of Japan. Gibson was also a highly-successful quiz-show contestant in Australia and the United States, becoming Grand Champion of the famed "Jeopardy!" Tournament of Champions in 1968, winning well over 100,000 U.S. dollars from his various contests.
It was only fitting that a man who had so staunchly promoted and defended the traditional Catholic Faith all his life should have had a happy death, fortified by the traditional Last Rites of the true Catholic Church  and surrounded by his family. In the cause of traditional Catholicism, which he vigorously advanced throughout his long life, Hutton Gibson founded the Alliance for Catholic Tradition, wrote six books, and published a monthly traditional Catholic periodical, "The War is Now!" He rejected the post-Vatican II heretical Newpopes as null and void.

Hutton Gibson published six books and one video that expose the invalidity of the Newchurch of the New Order, founded on November 21, 1964, at the Vatican II Anti-council. He wrote early on about what has become clear to many only now, many decades after the Anti-council, that the Anti-council and Newchurch has in fact been initiated and run by Modernists and Freemasons. Gibson published three book collections from his periodical "The War Is Now!":
  1. Is the Pope Catholic? (1978)
  1. The Enemy Is Here! (1994)
  1. The Enemy Is Still Here! (2003)
Gibson also published three other books and one video:

  • The Robber Church
  • Authority & Jurisdiction of the Society of St. Pius X
  • Time out of Mind
  • Catholics, Where Has Our Church Gone?(video)
  • In 2006 Gibson purchased a church building in a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and founded there the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Chapel.

Evil Fargo Bishop Tries to Impose Sacrilegious Handcommunion

Edit: Communion in the hand is a sacrilege.   We wonder how our friend on the margins is doing?  Need we remind that Communion in the Hand as a concept is a Calvinist innovation? Not even that pimp Martin Luther would have dared it.

[wdtprs] The Diocese of Fargo is one of the US dioceses which has improperly banned Communion on the tongue, in the context of the Wuhan Corona Lockdown Virus.  This ultra vires policy flies in the face of Redemptionis Sacramentum 92.

Fargo also violated Summorum Pontificum in applying this unfortunate ban to the Traditional Latin Mass, wherein it is not permitted to distribute Communion in the hand.

Responding to challenges to this power play, Bp.  John Thomas Folda, responded that:

Some have said that in conscience they cannot receive Communion in the hand, and so will not receive the Eucharist at all if they cannot receive it on the tongue. This seems to elevate a personal preference or stance to a higher level than the value of Holy Communion itself. There is nothing inherently irreverent in receiving Communion in the hand; the highest authority of the Church allows it. If one’s conscience places a higher value on a physical posture or manner of receiving than on the Sacrament itself, then I would conclude that the conscience is erroneous and has been improperly formed. It would make no sense to deprive oneself of the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ, merely because Communion cannot be received on the tongue.

Chicoms Want Approved Version of Scripture

Edit: a reader posted this in the comments on the Robber Barron post and what he plans to do to Scripture. Many heretics before him have had their own translations of Holy Scripture featuring their own pet errors, like Wycliff, Luther, Scofield and all too many others. This is a good place for a Chy-NA post.  The Chinese government is planning its own official scripture translation at The Sun:

Although no specific books were mentioned, party officials called for a "comprehensive evaluation of the existing religious classics aiming at contents which do not conform to the progress of the times."
Reports say bible-bashing China wants all major religions to review their holy texts and to adapt them to the "era of President Xi Jinping".
China officially recognises all faiths but the country is known for its Big-Brother surveillance and policing worship is just one aspect of this.
Beijing highlights that "Jesus Christ's parables" will have to fall "in line with the Communist Party, failing which they run the risk of being purged from the bibles available to the faithful."
The Bible and Christianity are apparently not alone in being targeted, with the authorities setting their sights on all major religions, requiring a "sinicisation" of the Quran and the sutras found in Buddhism.
The authorities apparently want "a complete reevaluation of existing translations of religious classics".

Meanwhile, Chicoms have plants who have infiltrated the American University system, in Arkansas of all places.  Alex Jones covered the story:

An engineering professor at the University of Arkansas has been arrested by the FBI and faces up to 20 years in prison for allegedly hiding funding that he received from the communist Chinese government.
The New York Times reports that “Simon Ang of the University of Arkansas, was arrested on Friday and charged on Monday with wire fraud.”
“He worked for and received funding from Chinese companies and from the Thousand Talents program, which awards grants to scientists to encourage relationships with the Chinese government,” the report notes, adding that “he warned an associate to keep his affiliation with the program quiet.”

    Mattei Criticizes Viganò on Corona

Edit: this seems to be very much at odds with what he says in the translation at Rorate of his most recent essay on Coronavirus.  What next?  Is Mattei going to say that the Bishops can't condemn birth control and abortion because such statements lie outside their expertise?

[Gloria.tv] The Roman historian Roberto de Mattei critizised Archbishop Viganò's appeal against the Coronavirus regime.

De Mattei told Die-Tagespost.de (13 May) that it perplexes him when bishops comment on "health measures" taken by governments because this "exceeds their field of expertise." However, such a self-evident statement is hardly enough to disqualify the Viganò appeal.

Viganò made his only public appearance in recent years at a Munich rally organised by De Mattei, thus helping it to gain international fame.

Young Priest Names Benedict in Canon But Not Francis

[Gloria.tv] Father Enrico Bernasconi, an assistant priest in Torremaggiore, San Severo Diocese, Italy, believes that Benedict XVI has not resigned and is still Pope, despite Benedict XVI protesting otherwise.

Bernasconi, who was ordained 3.5 years ago, told Rivelazione.net (April 28) that he feels encouraged by Benedict’s gestures like keeping his Pontifical name, the white cassock and the signature including the acronym P.P. (Pontifex Pontificum).

Bernasconi therefore decided in his "conscience" that Francis is not a pope and, therefore, names Benedict XVI during Mass.

He follows the example of retired Archbishop Lenga and Father Francesco D’Erasmo.

Edit: what would Don Leonardo Ricotta think of this?

Princess Gloria Thurn u. Taxis Tells of the Bishops: "Who No Longer Seem to Believe in the Sacrificial Meal."

(Munich) While governments and episcopal conferences describe the radical measures as "unavoidable", Princess Gloria von Thurn und Taxis speaks of "pure harassment." This refers to the ban on worship lasting many weeks, which also included the Easter period.

In an interview with the German daily Die Welt, the Princess from Regensburg found clear words. Without the consent of the bishops, the state would hardly have dared to enact a ban on public services.

"You can really get the impression, where here there are state officials who act brazenly and submissively, of those who no longer seem to believe in the sacrificial meal."

The Princess also criticizes the fact that the bishops, who are "sovereign princes" in her diocese, hide behind the collective called the Episcopal Conference.

"The President of the Episcopal Conference is by no means the chief, but at best a kind of moderator."

This also refers to the Bishop of Limburg, Monsignor Georg Bätzing, who has been in office for two months, who succeeded Cardinal Reinhard Marx at the head of the German Episcopal Conference.

"One often gets the impression that the bishop's collective with a large or very large president suffocates the authority of the individual local bishop."
The Episcopal Conference is therefore, in her eyes, "superfluous, for it deprives their episcopal Lords of a great deal of time and strength."

The Duchess defends the sensational appeal of Veritas Liberabit Vos to a group of cardinals, bishops and intellectuals, among whose first signatories is included Cardinal Gerhard Müller, Bishop of Regensburg until 2012:

"These are facts that, under the pretext of the Covid 19 epidemic, in many cases inalienable rights of citizens have been violated and their fundamental freedoms have been disproportionately and unjustifiably restricted, including the right to freedom of religion, expression and freedom of movement."
What is needed in the face of the Corona crisis is a culture of debate for science. "It would be helpful," says the duchess, if it would not only be the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) who always has the floor, the organization which had proclaimed a lot of contradictory things in a very short space of time. This is also about the resulting "information deficits" that create uncertainty and fear.

In this context, the Prince criticized the increasingly inquisitive attitude of the government and the mass media against other opinions in recent weeks:

"To denigrate any counter-opinion as right-wing populism is enormously damaging here."

Evil Robber Bishop Who Pirates the Church for Aberrosexual Agenda is Going to Do the Bible

Edit: a Facebook Group called, "Clean the Church" just noted that Bishop Robber Barron is setting his destructive sights on something new.  The Bible.  Will his Bible be gay friendly and approved?  Barron is going to do the Gospels so you can, "read them like no one has read them before."   Novelty isn't a good thing.

+Barron's "Producer"!  As JohnPaul Norris notes:

Oh boy! It looks like "hell is almost empty" and "everyone has a reasonable chance of going to heaven", gay-promoting Bishop Robert Barron has decided to publish his own version of the Bible...

I wonder if his bodybuilding "producers" also edited his version of the Bible..

I guess that explains why Barron says so many disquieting things when it comes to challenging the consensus on aberrosexuality.
