Vatican Warmly Receives Aberrosexual Lobby

(Rome) Today, for the first time, homosexual activists were officially received in the Vatican, but unlike the visitors initially announced and expected. Nevertheless, it was a historic event in the history of the Church.

Last week, French sociologist and gay activist Frederic Martel announced that Pope Francis would welcome an international group of homosexual activists. He referred to an Argentine compatriot and personal friend of the Pope, the former Supreme Court Judge and homosexual left-intellectual Raul Eugenio Zaffaroni.

Martel's announcement caused a great deal of commotion after the Vatican had just left the Christian World Family Congress in Verona a week ago. While the supreme ecclesiastical body has distanced itself from Christian associations committed to marriage and the family, does the Pope receive homosexual activists? The optics hung doubly wrong.

Martel, citing Zaffaroni, had also announced a "historical speech" by Pope Francis in favor of homosexuality. Yesterday, he dialed back. The speech was "canceled". Thus Pope Francis had missed "a historic opportunity". The apology, however, added to the sociology, as the Pope is under constant observation of his critics in the Church.

Vatican spokesman Gisotti also denied yesterday that Francis will be giving a "historical speech" today. He did not deny the audience. The decisions seem to have fallen only at the last moment. The trick was to send a signal of "openness" to the gay lobby, but not to give the inner-church resistance to the papal course too much impetus.

The result showed today. It was not Pope Francis who received the delegation of homosexuals, but Cardinal Secretary of State Parolin. It was also the cardinal who last week announced the distancing of the Holy See from the World Family Congress.

Behind the scenes, it seems that the last one has been worked out, because it seems hardly believable - however extravagant Zaffaroni may be - that the former Supreme Court Judge invented the audience with the Pope and his "historical speech" and even signed his own signature.

By noon this morning [5 -April], the invited homo-activists knew about the exact program. Homosexual organization Egale Canada tweeted:

"Today in the Vatican, we are witness to a historic meeting with the Secretary of State of the Holy See, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, to discuss the situation of discrimination and violence against LGBTI [He forgot “P”] people in the world."

“We expect a historic meeting in the Vatican"

Vatican spokesman Alessandro Gisotti then gave, unlike after numerous private audiences, an official statement.

"Cardinal Pietro Parolin received today in the Vatican a group of 50 persons, who work in different ways against the criminalization of homosexuality."

The Cardinal Secretary of State was on this occasion, Zaffaroni and Martel had already announced, "a study on the criminalization of homosexual relations in the Caribbean" passed.

"Cardinal Parolin gave a short greeting to those present, reaffirming the position of the Catholic Church in defending the dignity of every human being and against any form of violence.
“After listening to the comments of some of the participants in the meeting, Cardinal Parolin assured that he would inform the Holy Father about the content of the study. "

The "Globo Homo” was very pleased with the audience, even if it was not given by the Pope himself. The International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA) tweeted:

"ILGA World attended the historic meeting and called for a deeper dialogue."

ILGA World in the Vatican

ILGA World, the Globo Homo umbrella organization, also published a detailed statement.

In fact, the audience was "historic" even without Pope Francis. For the first time, the Gay Lobby was officially able to incorporate its more ventral positions into the Vatican, and was recognized by the highest government representative of the Pope, the Secretary of State, as a dialogue partner at state, not pastoral level. The attendees were not received as persons with their individual destinies, but - for the first time in history - as representatives of the organized gay lobby.

Egale Canada wrote on Twitter:

"We are proud to participate in this moment in history. This is the first time that #LGBTI activists have met #Vatican. At a meeting with Cardinal Parolin, we called on Pope Francis (@Pontifex) to make a statement condemning the criminal laws that persecute LGBTI people.”

How much balancing act does the Church engage in behind the closed doors for the Christian World Family Congress and the open doors to the organized gay lobby?

Progressive Apparatchiks in Switzerland Threaten Split If They Don’t Get Reformist Bishop in Chur

The truth is that the anti-Church reforms would just cause the split. This is true for anyone who wants to change the Church using synodal or other ways - The Monday kick by Peter Winnemöller

Linz (kath.net) Episcopal election campaign is a strange term. Nevertheless, he somehow uses it to address the incidents in Zurich. To use funds of the Church for an anti-church action behind the back of the bishop, in fact, that is only possible in Switzerland. The state churches manage the funds, the bishops have no say. This is an untenable situation, against which, however, only a few bishops resist.

One who resists this is Bishop Vitus Huonder. Already immediately after his election he was attacked and slandered. The Left media had him in mind from the beginning. A bishop who represents the Church's teaching in faith and morals, is an abomination to the world.

The term of office of Bishop Huonder is coming to an end. He will be on duty until Easter, when he will soon be on retirement. The mice are already rehearsing the dance on the tables. Most recently, the Regional Vicar of Zurich, Josef Annen, who recently, together with Synodal President Counselor, Franziska Driessen-Reding, wrote an open letter to Pope Francis as an ad in various newspapers published at the expense of the Church.

The background is the desire to get a bishop in the diocese of Chur in the future, who is amenable to the national church and no longer tries to interfere. Where the future bishop should be in matters of faith is clearly visible in the contents of the open letter.

The age-old reform agenda of the mission of Church sexual morality, the democratization of the Church and the women's priesthood are embossed in the paid advertisement. In many places in the Church - like the synodal path of the DBK - it shows how constant drops slowly hollow the stone. But consider at this point that reforms that take place against faith and custom are not in the truth.

Reforms of this kind do not change the Church, they do not change the teaching and certainly not the faith. They only inevitably lead to schism. The would-be reformers know that, because it is not for nothing that in the open letter designed as an ad, a split is blatantly mentioned as a threat. It is perfidious to use separation as a pressure medium in this form. It is diabolical, therefore, where there are threats of a split demands for required reforms are not met.

The truth is that the anti-Church reforms would just cause the split. This applies to all who want to change the Church in synodal or other ways. They do not change the Church, they divide parts of the Church and take many of good faith into the spiritual abyss. That is the danger that must be counteracted.

After the term of office of the current bishop of Chur, it is therefore not important to have a bishop who is after the hearts of the reformists. A bishop is needed who can continue to proclaim the faith without any curtailment and who can and wants to defy the unhealthy ecclesiastical system in Switzerland.

Church Militant Covers Sex Abuse Story Around Opus Dei

Edit: just got this from Randy Engle who has been following a sex abuse case in Spain.

[Church Militant]  Whether it's members of the Catholic Church following Christ, Jesuits following St. Ignatius of Loyola or Opus Dei members following St. Josémaría Escrivá, questions of fidelity inevitably arise.

Scandal is plaguing Opus Dei, the community of clerics and laity founded by St. Escrivá in 1928. His vision that holiness is for everyone and is accomplished in the ordinary acts of daily life has helped many Catholics draw closer to God. At his canonization in 2002, Pope John Paul II drewattention to Escrivá's mission:

Indeed, he never stopped inviting his spiritual children to invoke the Holy Spirit to ensure that their interior life, namely, their life of relationship with God and their family, professional and social life, totally made up of small earthly realities, would not be separated but would form only one life that was "holy and full of God."

Diocese of Limburg Recommends Visiting a Mosque for Lent

The representative of the diocese wants to push Catholics from the worship of God of to that of the God in the black stone.

[Kreuz.net]
Limburg Catholics are supposed to make a pilgrimage to the mosques because Muslims were murdered at the other end of the world. The German guilt cult knows no bounds [excerpt: catholic.de, page of the Catholic Church in Germany]

"Once upon a time, Mohammedans were
 the victims ..."

This statement is true only insofar as it concerns Europe. However, in the case of the terrorist attacks in Europe since the wave of immigration, the perpetrators were Mohammedans.

In the countries of allegedly peace-loving Islam, of course, the waves of assassination go on without abating: Shiites against Sunnis and vice versa.

"… at the other end of the world"

Because there was an attack on a mosque by a non-Mohammedan at the other end of the world, Frank van der Velden, an Islamic representative for the Limburg diocese, calls for a visit to a Friday prayer in a mosque by Catholics.

As if a European Catholic had murdered European Mohammedans during Friday prayers bowing to their god of the Black Stone.

Or, more clearly, neither the Mohammedans who had moved to Europe nor the Christian population of Europe were affected - neither as victims nor as perpetrators.

Limburger Schnapsidee

The glorious idea comes from Frank van der Velden, the Episcopal Representative for Islamic Issues of the Diocese of Limburg.

Van der Velden, a middle-aged theological graduate, studied Arabic in Syria and lived in Egypt for about 17 years. Therefore, his inclination to Islam should come as well.

Limburg, as a sign of Islamization, has had a burial ground for Mohammedans for 14 years. Because mandatory coffin law prevails (rejected by Muselmen) and the graves do not exist for ever, the number of buried Mecca pilgrims can be counted on two hands.

Personal contact with obstacles

Ünal Kaymakci, a Mohammedan lawyer and board member of the Islamic Religious Community of Hesse, announced that they would offer the unfaithful visitors of Friday prayers a place in the mosque to attend prayers as onlookers - but men and women would have to sit apart, as in Medieval Europe or as in synagogues these days.

Bad luck for cosmopolitan emancers in search of multicultural contacts. Because with the Mohammedans, there is still discipline and order, when one lowers the head on the ground during prayer (and forcibly raises the backside in the air).

Francis: Islam is Covered Under God’s “Permissive Will”

Edit: just received this content today.

Francis Said God ‘Permits’ Islam or ‘Wants’ Islam?

By David Martin

On February 4, 2019, Pope Francis incited controversy by signing a joint statement with the head of Egypt’s al-Azhar Mosque, which states that "diversity of religions" is "willed by God."

The passage inciting controversy read:

“Freedom is a right of every person: each individual enjoys the freedom of belief, thought, expression and action. The pluralism and the diversity of religions, colour, sex, race and language are willed by God in His wisdom, through which He created human beings. This divine wisdom is the source from which the right to freedom of belief and the freedom to be different derives. Therefore, the fact that people are forced to adhere to a certain religion or culture must be rejected, as too the imposition of a cultural way of life that others do not accept.”

Following this, the pope came under fire from faithful Catholics throughout the world who alleged that Francis was professing heresy by saying that God wills other religions.

At the General Audience of April 3, Pope Francis appeared to offer clarification of his February 4 statement, saying that God merely "willed to permit" Islam and other religions. His statement reads:

“Some may wonder: but why does the Pope go visit the Muslims and not only the Catholics? Because there are so many religions, and why are there so many religions? With the Muslims we are descendants of the same Father, Abraham: why does God allow so many religions to exist? God wanted to allow this: the Scholastic theologians referred to  the voluntas permissiva [permissive will] of God. He willed to permit this reality: there are many religions; some are born of culture, but they always look to heaven, they look to God. But what God wills is fraternity among us, and in a special way — hence the reason for this journey — with our brothers, who are sons of Abraham, like us, the Muslims. We must not be afraid of the difference: God has permitted this. We ought to be frightened if we do not work in fraternity, to walk together in life.”

Without directly mentioning the February 4 statement, Francis now appears to argue that he was referring to God's "permissive will," that God simply permits Islam to exist. And while the Church teaches that God in His permissive will allows evil and error to try us—to see if we will resist—this obviously is not what Francis means.

While purporting to uphold the truth of voluntas permissiva, he is validating Islam by saying that Muslims are "brothers, who are sons of Abraham" and who "are descendants of the same Father, Abraham." He's saying Islam is a valid religion of God, as if it were an extension of the One Universal Church.

2 / 3
Hence the pope is not speaking of God's permissive will but of what he sees as His ordained will. Note the context in which he made his February 4 statement:

"The pluralism and the diversity of religions, colour, sex, race and language are willed by God in His wisdom, through which He created human beings."

Francis obviously meant that diversity of  "colour, sex, race and language are willed by God" in the ordained sense, which they are, so we can only assume he meant "diversity of religions" the same way.

He now reverts to this "permissive will" explanation, seemingly to escape censure, yet he skillfully seizes on the opportunity to dignify Islam and other religions, saying that "they look to God," as if we were all brothers of the same fold.

There indeed are non-Catholics who look to God, many of whom will convert in time, but the god that is named and called upon in Islam is no God but a demon with a mask. Mohammad's linking himself to "God" and "Abraham" was only done for deceptive purposes. He was a false prophet so why is Francis dignifying his legacy?

The Demonic Nature of Islam

The fact is that the Quran, the Bible of Islam, rejects the person and divinity of Christ and teaches that non-Muslims and Christians should be "slain." Consider these two excerpts from the Quran:

"Kill them [non-Muslims] wherever you find them." (Quran 2:191) "Slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and lie in wait for them in every ambush." (Quran 9:5)

Unfortunately, Islam is driven by the devil and has been a major battering ram against the Church for fifteen centuries, and while God in His permissive will has allowed this to try our patients and charity, and our resolution to separate ourselves from its pestilent errors, He certainly hasn’t allowed it for the purpose of “walking together” with them and being one.

As Catholics, our oneness is with God, not the world, as expressed by the Apostle James who said, "the friendship of this world is the enemy of God" (James 4:4) and that "Whosoever therefore will be a friend of this world, becometh an enemy of God." (4:5)

True Fraternal Brotherhood

Catholics need to remind Francis that it is only through CONVERSION that we can become brothers and sisters in Christ. We must reach out and convert Islam and the world, yet Francis told Catholics in Morocco last week NOT to do this, arguing that the Church's mission does not consist in baptizing and converting people but in generating "change." Pope Francis warns Moroccan Christians against ‘proselytism’ This is contradictory, since the Church's commission from Christ is to change the world through conversion.

3 / 3
Hence it does not appear that Francis believes in being brothers and sisters in God. But let him prove himself. If he will preach that the mission of the Church is to bring the knowledge of God to the world and "teach all nations" (Matt. 28:19), and if he will extend the charitable invitation to all peoples to leave their particular creeds and miseries and convert to the Catholic Church, then we can believe him.

The Church infallibly teaches that there is no salvation outside the Catholic Church (extra ecclesiam nulla salus), so unless Francis believes that diversity of religions is permissively willed by God to elicit the Church's response to reach out and convert these religions, he is denying dogma, dignifying fake religion, and withholding the mercy of God from mankind.

Bishop Oster: “The Danger is a Split is Greater”

Passau Bishop skeptical about possible changes in sexual teaching by DBK: "We might then be out of the media focus, but at the same time religious indifference would grow.”

Passau (kath.net) The Passau Bishop Stefan Oster has commented on his blog once again at the spring plenary meeting of the German Bishops' Conference in Lingen and once again addressed the painful topic of "abuse.” Oster recalled that the phenomenon of abuse of children and adolescents naturally also existed in the rest of society. In the case of the victims, however, the ratio of girls to boys is around 4: 1, whereas in the Church it is usually the other way round, that is to say rather 1: 4. So he asks himself: "Who is drawn to the ‘Church system’ here - and how do we deal with it? How does priestly life today succeed under such radically changed social conditions? What role does the phenomenon of same-sex orientation play, even among priests?”

Oster once again praised celibacy, stressing that he considers life in the example of Jesus to be a great spiritual treasure in our Church, while he considers a farewell to priestlycelibacy “a great spiritual loss". "Our way of life already points to the actual, life completely filled with Him in the reality of God, in which one is loved not less but more and more deeply loved - but just not married anymore (Lk 20,35) .. Successful celibate life testifies to a fertility which comes from the Lord, and which exceeds purely biological fertility, contributing to the birth of new children of God (cf Jn 3: 3),”  writes Oster. His option is therefore that one must try everything to preserve the way of life of Jesus as a way of life for the priests. But one must also look honestly.

He also saw a direct connection between the "spiritual substance of a believing people" and the "spiritual substance of priestly life" and thus also the number of priests the Lord gave to the people. For Easter, therefore, a change based merely on structural "needs" was much too short. In a free election of celibacy for priests, according to the bishop, the celibate form of life among the diocesan priests would disappear rather quickly and be confined to the monasteries.

He was also skeptical of Cardinal Marx's promotion of sexual morality. It is necessary to justify here why what was previously sin is now no longer sin and now perhaps even should be blessed. These questions also touch upon the doctrine of faith and ethics so much that at the same time there must be a development on the world Church level. "Some hope for an impetus from us in Germany, which would then be so intense and convincing that it could prevail  in the world Church or just could apply to us because of regional differences. I think both ideas are not realistic,” said Oster.

The bishop also criticized the fact that in Lingen reference was made to "new human scientific insights" without actually putting them into practice. He did not really hear anything substantial here. "Rather, I am convinced that the theology of the body developed by Pope John Paul II unveils the constitution of human beings as a personal, relationship-oriented, sexual being in a well-grounded way. At the same time, it does justice to our biblical tradition and, in my opinion, also addresses the heights of humanistic sciences," emphasizes the bishop, while there are all too many of the “reform minded” that rather want to “dampen further development”  in the area of sexual morality, since otherwise the frustrations afterwards would only be all the greater and likewise offers the danger of a split. With this topic, however, Oster is focused upon the trust in the Lord and that this can actually change and deepen the ability to love. This always includes and does not exclude the dimension of sexuality and, in his view, leads to a sexual morality as the Church teaches.

Oster also points out that, even if there were a possible change in the Church's sexual morality, the Church would not be implicitly less the Church nor would the teaching somehow be more humane, more forgiving, and more acceptable to all. The situation of Protestant cousins makes this hope seem deceptive to Oster. "Maybe we would be out of the media focus, but at the same time, religious indifference would grow with not a few - when the Church is finally like a liberal society would like to have it. But I hardly see growth opportunities for the Church," said the bishop

In conclusion, the bishop believes that many faithful believers simply want to be Catholic and receive and live the faith as delivered and celebrated by the apostles, scripture, tradition and liturgy. He himself just wants to be Catholic and let himself be changed anew. I want to do that too, and I have repeatedly promised in my ordination as deacon, priest, and bishop that I will stand up and fight for this very belief with complete conviction, and I am sure that the Lord will bless all and anyone can also experience joy, who embarks on this path - no matter how challenging the times are,” writes Oster.

Apostolic Zeal Embarrasses Papal Jesuit

Edit: while he has ever been silent about Islamic wars being waged against Christians throughout the world, he was quick to admonish the tiny remnant of the indigienous Catholics of Morocco to ignore the great commission and not, “prosylitize”.

No one is more embarrassed by apostolic zeal than a decadent Jesuit.

[Lifesite] Pope Francis asked Moroccan Catholics last Sunday not to seek converts to the Faith. He said that the Christian mission does not  consist in baptizing Christians but in generating "change," which is contradictory, since the Church's commission from Christ is precisely to change the world through conversion.

The Church's mission from the beginning is to reach out and extend the knowledge of Christ to all peoples,
that all people might leave their particular creeds and idols and be joined with Christ in His Catholic Church. (Mt. 28:19,20)

The Church has no other mission, therefore to tell the faithful not to proselytize is to deny Christ and to encourage this denial in our lives. It was concerning this attitude that Jesus said: "He that shall deny me before men, I will also deny him before my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 10:33)

Green News Outlet: “...just as many sexually abused by members of the Protestant church”

Newspaper from the left green spectrum criticizes media presentation on Church sexual abuse.

Hamburg (kath.net) "In the discussion about sexualised violence, the focus is on the Catholic Church - how the Protestants deal with their cases of abuse, is little present in the media." That was criticized by “taz,” a national newspaper from the left green spectrum. "114,000 people are affected by sexual abuse by Catholic priests in Germany. This is what a recent study by the University of Ulm says. The surprising thing: just as many have been sexually abused by members of the Protestant church,” so the presentation by “taz.”

Offering an overview of the situation in the (Protestant regional church) "North Church,” the article cites Anselm Kohn, abuse victim and founder of an anti-abuse initiative, "The Church is perpetrator and criminal organization but wants to be enlightener, pastoral counselor and judge."

The churches need to allow external review, the report concludes.

Lavender Lobby Wants Program Out of Austrian Schools

The Austrian Minister of Education Heinz Fassmann (ÖVP) would now like to ban the Christian “teen star” out of the Austrian schools after pressure from the gay lobby now.

Vienna (kath.net) The Austrian Minister of Education Heinz Fassmann (ÖVP) would now like to ban the Christian “teen star” out of the Austrian schools after pressure from the gay lobby. "I recommend no further employment of the association in the schools,” so Faßmann (ÖVP) on Monday according to a report by the daily newspaper "Die Presse." Just a few days ago, the Ministry of Education had once more defended that the association continued to be in the schools. According to the "press,” more and more "complaints" have been received by the Ministry of Education in recent weeks. Sex Education can be used in schools, and schools can choose how.

According to the left-wing weekly newspaper Falter, even the archdiocese of Vienna is said to have criticized “teenstar.” Notably, the so-called "archdiocesan experts" who claim that the information on masturbation and homosexuality is no longer "at the level of today's science and theological discussion" and that teenstar "reinforces stereotypical standards and the differences between being a man and being a woman.”

Ukrainian Ecclesiastical Conflict Impacts Antarctic

Chapel on Ukrainian research station switches from Moscow-compliant jurisdiction to the new independent Ukrainian church - churches and religions in Ukraine are calling for peaceful presidential elections.

Kiev (kath.net/KAP)The Ukrainian church dispute now has an impact on the Antarctic.

The Volodymyr Chapel, which was officially part of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, was built in 2011 in the Ukrainian Vernadsky Station in Perpetual Ice. The Ukrainian National Scientific Antarctic Center in Kiev has announced that the chapel of the new autocephalous "Orthodox Church of Ukraine" is to be placed under the control of the Ukrainian media. A corresponding request to Metropolitan Epifanij, head of the church, had already been made and answered positively.

According to media reports, at the Antarctic Station's current shift change, a copy of that tomos (document) was also brought along, with which Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I released the Ukrainian Church into independence at the beginning of January 2019.

Meanwhile, there are more important decisions in Ukraine itself. The "All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religions" called on the people of the presidential election next Sunday for a "conscientious voting decision" and not to vote "against something" but "for a good and, above all, peaceful future for all". In the election of the new head of state, it should be remembered that one should choose not in their own interest, but in the interest of the good of the entire state. The elections must be peaceful, respect for those who represent other political opinions, is essential, according to the church and religious representatives.

The Council also proclaimed Saturday, 30 March, the "Day of Prayer and Fasting" for honest and peaceful elections. The "All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religions" has around 20 Christian, Muslim and Jewish churches or religious denominations.

The current incumbent President Petro Poroshenko has to fear for his re-election on Sunday. According to surveys, the former Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Tymoshenko, and especially the actor and newcomer Volodymyr Selenskyj in the electoral favor before Poroshenko. According to observers Poroshenko was all the more eager to found the new Ukrainian Orthodox National Church. In the surveys, he was able to gain between six and eight percentage points.

The President is not only looking for closeness to the Orthodox, but also the Catholic Church. So this week he handed over to representatives of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in Ternopil a small monastery complex that originally belonged to Dominicans and was expropriated during the communist era. According to a report by the church news portal "risu.ua.org", “historical justice" has been restored. He also wanted to thank the Greek Catholic as well as the Orthodox Church of Ukraine for their constant prayer for Ukraine, Poroshenko said.

Nearly 28 percent of already determined voters said they were voting in favor of Selenskyj. Poroshenko and Tymoshenko are going head-to-head with about 16 to 17 percent to qualify for the April run-off election. The 36 other candidates remained in the polls under 10 percent of the vote. More than 20 percent of voters, however, said they were still undecided.

Pray for Pope Francis

Word has come to the EF that Enzo Bianchi, "prior" of the Bose Monastic Community and confidant of Pope Francis, has communicated to the leadership of the Federation of "Evangelical" "Churches" in Italy that Pope Francis has finally accepted Jesus Christ as his "personal Lord and Savior" and has thus been "born again." We at the EF believe that this conversion bodes well for the authentic reform of the Vatican. Naturally, given how prone the Curia is to maintaining the status quo, the Pope's conversion has of yet borne no visible fruit, but certain power players in the Vatican are now apparently afraid of being fired, should the new "Evangelical" pope seek to clean the Augean stables of his own staff. Cardinal Coccopalmerio ("Cardinal Cocco" for short) and his fellow partiers, for instance, have threatened Pope Francis with blackmail should he actually follow through on his newfound convictions. They, apparently, have proof that the Pope is actively plotting to interfere in the next American election so as to thwart Putin's foreign policy and to secure the election of Beto O'Rourke. Oh, and apparently the Pope likes Beto's "poetry" too.

Eucharistic Miracle in Portugal

From Bill Fall by way of Catholicism.org: When I was in Portugal in 2017 our group visited the church of St. Stephen in Santarem (derived from the name Saint Irene) where a more than  600-year-old bleeding Host is reserved above the high alter.  Lucia of Fatima attended Mass here when staying for several days with a benefactor, while awaiting word when she could see her bishop before being sent away for  schooling under the Dorothean nuns.  Our group of pilgrims from the U.S. also had the great privilege of being able, one at a time, to climb a little ladder behind the altar to view the precious Host up close, if only for a few seconds each because of the long line queued up to do the same.

The other day I found a short video about that miraculous Host.  Here is the link:

Francis Snubs Victorious Salvini — Meddling in Italian Elections and Losing

Pope Francis preemptively declared  that he does not want to receive Italy's Interior Minister Matteo Salvini in audience.

(Rome) The EU elections cast their shadows. Pope Francis flirts with the globalist left. For Matteo Salvini, Italy's Interior Minister, the doors to the Vatican, however, remain closed - as long as he does not give up his opposition to mass immigration, so does not accept the abolition of state borders and the surrender of sovereignty.

The gates of the Vatican are open not only to moderate leftists, but also to those on the radical left, such as the former President of the Communist Party of Austria (KPÖ), Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras (see The Pope speaks like a leftist  or Venezuela's Bolivarian Socialist dictator Nicolas Maduro. Numerous are the events that the political arm of the Pope, Curial Bishop Manuel Sanchez Sorondo, were organized with links - also in the Vatican. For six years, however, the gates of the Vatican have been hermetically sealed for representatives to the right of the center. Exceptions are only state visits and other diplomatic obligations. [And who can forget the endorsement of murderous Marxism in the hammer and sicklefix?]

This is currently being felt by Italian interior minister Matteo Salvini. The Leader of the Lega, who has stood  since 2013, and led them from a regional party to an Italy-wide, EU-critical and anti-globalist party. As Minister of the Interior, he consistently closes the so-called "Mediterranean route" of illegal immigration. He confiscates the ships of the NGOs, which he accuses of functioning as an "ordered taxi" to Europe and thus to promotes illegal immigration. [And human trafficking]  Salvini wants a Europe of Fatherlands, in which national sovereignty remains, and the EU is only an economic but not a political union.

Although Salvini does not contradict Catholic social teaching with these positions, he is in open contradiction to the political convictions of Pope Francis. This is especially true for migration policy. At the height of the "refugee crisis" in 2015, Francis called on governments to "receive everyone, both bad and good". Words that especially irritated the population.

Matteo Salvini so far did not apply for audience with the Pope. It was said at last, however, that the professing Catholic wanted to bury the "hatchet" with the Pope. The request for an audience was in the air. That's why Francis took the initiative as a preventative measure.

He now let the Minister of the Interior know that he would not receive him in audience unless he opened the Italian ports for "refugees." Since 2015, the term "refugees" has been obscuring the fact that they are mainly economic migrants. When a group of 108 migrant pirates recently seized a ship by force, the migration lobbyists' apology narrative was that they needed to "understand" such violence because they were "fleeing from Libyan concentration camps." Pope Francis does not even object to such grotesque justifications of breaking law. But he is implacably hostile to those who defend the rule of law and the law in force.

Meanwhile, with its sovereignty policy, the Lega rushes from electoral success to electoral success in Italy, even in the southern Italy, where it has been rejected in the past. Matteo Salvini is in contact with Steve Bannon. It is not yet clear exactly which alliances will be forged for the EU elections. Should Salvini, together with Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban, head an EU-critical coalition, this group of demos is even credited with a head-to-head race with the EPP, which Orban has just suspended just as he  criticizes the globalist ideologist George Soros.

The unsolicited disinvite by Pope Francis is already part of the EU election campaign. It is part of the election campaign à la Bergoglio, who has interfered since his own election to the papacy in many countries in major election campaigns, but so far has severely shipwrecked. From his native Argentina, which for whatever reason he did not visit, to the USA and Italy, the candidates and parties that Francis did not want to see on the levers of power won, which he also clearly understood beforehand. The political left, who in the past howled at every conceivable opportunity and with outraged anger accused his predecessors of "interference" in internal affairs, suddenly finds nothing to complain about.

His preference is for the political left, even with preferential sympathy for the radical left. He would have liked Hillary Clinton in the White House than Donald Trump, but his candidate was left-wing US Senator Bernie Sanders.

Pope Francis traveled a few months after his election, in the summer of 2013, to the island of Lampedusa, which until then was known only to a few outside Italy. It was he who drew public attention to the mass migration and the Mediterranean route. Not to criticize the illegality and to show legal ways, but to challenge the rule of law and to put the migrants per definitionem above the law. He later repeated the same with the visit to the island of Lesbos for the Balkan route and the Mexican Ciudad Juarez for the Central American route. The repeated message is clear: Everyone has a right to migration for whatever reason, and must, wherever he goes, find unconditional acceptance. The Italian Episcopal Conference, rebuilt by Francis, obeys the pope, as do many priests, and for political reasons seem prepared to even engage with that party, the Lega, which is by far the most popular party with the practicing Catholics of Italy. Francis stands unquestioningly in a row with dubious figures from the Catholic viewpoint, such as Hillary Clinton, George Soros, Michelle Bachelet and the brothers of the apron.

His attitude not only promotes the mass migration without restrictions, which can swell rapidly with the migration of peoples, but undermines state sovereignty and leads to the dissolution of borders. These are the declared goals of the fatherlandless globalists, as George Soros is one.

The fronts are clearly drawn. What is puzzling is the priority that Pope Francis gives to politics, even at the risk of risking, for political reasons, the break with a sizable portion of the Catholic faithful  The opinion has already been expressed that there has not yet been such a political pope in church history. The Renaissance popes around the year 1500 would have acted as politicians only on the level of the central Italian small states, but otherwise as popes and heads of Christendom. Francis acts as a politician on a global level. But where does he act as head of the Church? [!]

The pope from Argentina, who had no problem meeting with Fidel and Raul Castro, with Nicolas Maduro, with Cocalero Evo Morales and with the former leader of the Communist Party, considers a meeting with Italy's incumbent Interior Minister Matteo Salvini unreasonable and obviously morally so reprehensible that he should be avoided by sin.

The pope of gestures wants to set a gesture with this.  He wants to divide the world into good and evil, but in a whole new moral order, with Salvini belonging for Francis with Donald Trump and Brazil's President Jair Bolsonaro to the "axis of evil.” The positioning is equal to an electoral recommendation. Also the time is not chosen by chance. Pope Francis is not a puppet of whisperers. He decides himself.

The Lega won last Sunday's seventh consecutive election. She hurries from one electoral victory to another. On Sunday, when she conquered the southern Italian region of Basilicata, which has belonged to the left uninterrupted since its founding, Salvini wrote on Twitter:

"7: 0 for us, and now we bring back Europe".

This challenge to the EU elections will cause more reactions. Pope Francis’ reaction of is now known.

Superfluous Art-Bishop of Innsbruck

Art in Innsbruck Cathedral: The comparative form of "I" is "Me".

(Vienna) Innsbruck's Bishop Hermann Glettler is one of theChurch  representatives who obviously attaches great importance to making himself superfluous. He does not stand out as a "stumbling block" in the world, but through oddities and a kind of provocation, as they know the world. He seeks attention by leaving the sacred space to artists. The latest Glettler activities in Innsbruck.

An Austrian bishop who challenges the self-satisfaction and hopelessness of the world by seriously proclaiming the truths of faith? No. Shepherds who congratulate or offer themselves with ever new ideas of the world? Full program.

Currently, a carved body of Jesus Christ can be "admired" in the old hospital church of the Tyrolean capital, which is suspended by the feet, dangling from the organ loft. The installation is called the "Christ Clock." An upside down cross or corpus of the Crucified has always been understood as an antichristian symbol. What drives satanists and enemies of the Church, with Hermann Glettler, for the first time and publicly, drives a bishop. [Schönborn hosts similar displays.] Does this, in a world of decades of taboo breaking and crossing the border into tastelessness, insults and blasphemy, still cause surprise or indignation? The killing of the true, the good and the beautiful is well advanced. Bishop Glettler seems to be one of those who are convinced that they can not change the factual, because they themselves no longer believe in the changing power of the Gospel, which is why they subject themselves to fact by approximation.

Light-footed Bishop Hermann Glettler

In the Innsbruck Bishop's church, therefore, the increasing number of tourists and the diminishing number of believers can "enjoy" a neon installation that at best proves bad taste, at worst blasphemous.

To dispel any doubt of any kind of christological or theocentric interpretation of the "work of art", the same message is simply "me,” which in German is “mich”. The English variant of the German personal pronoun in the accusative should certainly have been used only because the pronunciation of the common Bavarian "mi" for corresponds to “mich.” Guaranteed! A rogue who wants to see in it a form of increase of the egoistical “I” of the human being.

A small, religious brushstroke then has to be, which is why the two installations are put on display specifically for Lent. Which should be clear that they should prepare for Easter. Look at one. As a viewer, you would never have thought of it. Honestly not.

Both artistic operas are by Manfred Erjautz. The order for the  was given by Bishop Glettler personally. However, he does not bear the costs. Erjautz and Glettler have been working together for at least 15 years. The "plastic chasuble" is part of this obviously "fruitful" cooperation. The artist

brings money, the bishop opportunities for self-expression. Broader circles were reminded of the PVC chasuble (Priest in Bat Look) in 2018 because it portrayed the Admont Benedictine monastery as a dubious advertising medium for its exhibitions and museums.

"The installations of contemporary art in sacred spaces promoted by the Bishop of Innsbruck are part of a precise strategy that one sees in art, even the blasphemous, that does not matter, a modern instrument of evangelization," said Lupo Gori.

In mid-March Glettler was invited to the Catholic Private University of Linz, one of the most superfluous ecclesiastical institutions in Austria, to give a lecture on the relationship between culture and the Church, where he affirmed his "strategy.” The host of the private university is Bishop Manfred Scheuer of Linz, who was Glettler's predecessor as Bishop of Innsbruck. They know each other. And they support each other. There is no lack of similarities. Both are first-rate miscreants that bring their dioceses losing years in the best of all cases. Both are eagerly awaiting the removal of priestly celibacy in order to conceal with married priests the shortcomings of their co-perpetrated decline - at least temporarily.

Body of the Crucified, suspended upside down

According to Glettler, the Church must adopt the "spirit" of the Second Vatican Council. I am aware of the spirit of the Council that its rotten fruits are visible to everyone. What I still do not realize is the Council's alleged "blessings", which are constantly invoked as if the recognition of a superfluous council were the conditio sine qua non, not the truth of faith. No, it can easily be doubted, thinned, distorted and denied, but the Council is not. No, the council is not. Anyone who casts doubt on the Council seems to be threatened with immediate legal execution - one might say so. A strange paradox.

Plastic Chasuble - Art Bishop - Art Bishop - Plastic Bishop? (1)

According to Glettler, the "spirit" of the Council is a paradigm shift that transforms the Church from a rigid place of preservation to an open, flowing place of innovation, open to the other and the different.

The blasphemous installation of Christ in the old hospital church is ambiguously called: "My own personal Jesus". Everyone can worry about the connection between Jesus Christ's perversion and this title. The artist and bishop will vigorously contradict one another, as was the case with the blasphemous work of art. The body and a severed arm serve as pointers to indicate the time of day.

Where dubious trivialities take center stage, there must be a lack of substance.

Lupo Gori's summary of the new Glettler activities:

"In this sense, in the Jacob's Cathedral, the bishop's church of the land, with the head hanging down," Christ Clock "indicates the dramatic hour that has struck in the Catholic Church and for the Catholic Church, for a Church that is daily insulted and turned upside down by their own shepherds. "

Through shepherds who make themselves superfluous and poison the salt of the earth.

Innsbruck (kath.net/rn) In Innsbruck, on the occasion of the inauguration of the new studio of Radio Maria in Stift Wilten, an unusual incident took place last Saturday with Bishop Glettler. Ironically, when the bishop processed in to the altar at the beginning of Holy Mass, the nearly 1.5m large crucifix fell to the floor with a loud bang, just as the bishop passed by the cross. The left leg of the Christ corpus had broken off.

The incident is very interestingfor several reasons. Thus, the Innsbruck bishop is, due to his "art ideas", receiving more and more criticism by believers. With his last idea, in which an old figure of Christ transformed into a clock, the bishop must have gone too far.  Local Catholics are even planning to file complaints in Rome about the bishop. "That is why the Lord will give you a sign of his own accord ..." (Isa. 7:14), it was said in the daily reading last Saturday, by the way.

Catholic Churches Are Being Desecrated Throughout France and the Authorities do Not Know Why

Arson attack in Saint-Sulpice (Paris) on Sunday 17 March at noon. Impression of a cultic fire.

(Paris) "Catholic churches are being violated throughout France and the authorities do not know why". Under this title, the US weekly Newsweek published an article on a worrying phenomenon in its latest issue (March 21).

France has witnessed a series of attacks against Catholic churches since the beginning of the year. It's about vandalism, arson attacks and profanations.

Statues are destroyed, tabernacles broken, the Blessed Sacrament scattered, crosses and other sacred objects stolen. Newsweek does not reduce the phenomenon to predatory criminals. The phenomenon is more worrying.

"What causes concern is the increase in anti-Catholic sentiment in the country."

Smashed statue of St. Joan of Arc

On the 17th In March, an arson attack was perpetrated in the Parisian church of Saint-Sulpice. The church dedicated to St. Bishop Sulpicius II of Bourges (+ 647), with its two towers, is one of the most prominent churches in the French capital. It is almost the same size as the cathedral church Norte-Dame. Since the 16th century, this was associated with a seminary of the Sulpicians, which received seminarians from all French dioceses and had great influence on the formation of the French clergy. In the French Revolution and the 1906 Law of Separation of State and Church, the seminary was closed and the buildings expropriated by the state.

The arson attack on the church took place in the middle of the day immediately after the last Sunday Mass. People were not harmed. The police began investigations into unknown perpetrators after firefighters discovered arson as a cause.

Fallen Cross in the church of Saint-Nicolas.

The church plays a role in Dan Brown's "The Vinci Code - Sacrilege".

Since the beginning of the year, attacks on churches have increased. Incidents such as the destruction of a statue of Mary and the overthrow of a large altar cross in the church of Saint-Nicolas of Houilles are not isolated cases. The same devastating outrage happened in the church of Saint-Alain in Lavaur, where statues of saints were smashed and the cross was overturned.

Saint-Sulpice in Paris. Fire in several places

A topography of church abuses shows that they are spread all over France. The incidents range from the north to the Spanish border.

In the Church of Notre-Dame-des-Enfants in Nimes, the tabernacle was broken and the Holy Eucharist was thrown to the ground. Throwing the cross or the body of Christ into the dust is a recurrent element of the attacks. Christianophobia, a French blog on the documentation of Christianophobia, describes the accumulation and type of attacks as "diabolical".

Battered Mary statue

The consecrated hosts were scattered throughout the sanctuary. A cross had been smeared with feces on the wall.

In February alone, 47 attacks were registered in France. The Observatory Against Intolerance and Discrimination of Christians in Europe of the Commission of Bishops in the EU (COMECE) speaks of a significant increase.

"I think there is a growing hostility in France against the Church and its symbols. It seems to be directed against Christianity and the symbols of Christendom as a whole,” wrotes Newsweek, quoting Ellen Fantini, the Observatory's director.

Destroyed side altar

France is a country with a strong, secular tradition. The French Revolution of 1789 was the first attempt to destroy Christianity in the country. The attempt was repeated several times and was written in its intention was written in 1906 in the law on the separation of Church and state. More than a hundred years later, the pressure is not only from militant secularists and Satanists, but also from Muslims, who have long been influential in determining social development in France.

In February, Prime Minister Edouard Phillip met with the leadership of the French Bishops' Conference. In a statement, he then said:

"In our secular republic, the places of religious observance are respected. Such acts disturb me and must be unanimously convicted.”

According to the state of affairs, state authorities are in the dark about the perpetrators, which is astonishing given the resources available. The Catholic Church in France does not seem to be one of the priority objects of protection for the state.

New Rules for Religious: Exclusion for “Absence”

Pope Francis wants to modify the canon 694 of the Code of Canon Law

Vatican (kath.net) Anyone who belongs to a religious community and "stays away" from their own community for at least 12 months will in the future be considered by Church law to have been resigned from the Order. This is what Pope Francis writes in a new motu proprio entitled "Communis vita". The letter was published by the Vatican this Tuesday. This was reported by “VaticanNews.” The Pope would therefore like to modify Canon 694 of the Code of Canon Law. So far, under the canon 694, which regulates the exclusion from the Order, two reasons have been enumerated, namely, if the corresponding religious or the nun "evidently dropped from the Catholic faith" (paragraph 1); another is when he or she has "made a marriage or attempted to conclude a marriage, even if only in the form of civil marriage" (paragraph 2). Now a third reason is added.

Order of Malta Pushing Gay Heroes in Comics

After the coup, the Order of Malta is rebuilt into a humanitarian NGO, pays homage to political correctness and, just before the 1,000 year anniversary of its founding, heads into an identity crisis.
(Rome) In the Sovereign Order of Malta in early 2017, a coup against the reigning Grand Master and Prince took place. Pope Francis was not its author, but its executor. The knights, who since then have exercised their power in the Order with papal backing, have issued a new order: it is no longer for the defense of Christianity, if necessary with the sword, or with the hospice. This is what the Order has done so far. Shortly before the completion of its millennial existence, a new order was issued. It reads: Political correctness on the way to becoming a humanitarian NGO - and a serious identity crisis.

"There was a time, about three years ago, when the Order of Malta still proved to be scandalized by the news that the Order was involved in international humanitarian projects in Myanmar, Kenya and South Sudan where contraceptives are distributed although this is in open contradiction to the social doctrine of the Church. "

Mauro Faverzani (Corrispondenza Romana), from whom these lines originate, places them in opposition to the current religious situation. In 2016, the leadership was still in a state of outrage, but it did not end well. The then Grand Master, the Briton Fra Matthew Festing, who resisted the creeping reorientation of the Order, was deposed by Pope Francis. Faverzani puts it a bit more precise and painful for the Church: the Grand Master was "put on one leg".

Those responsible for the new course, especially the Grand Chancellor of the Order, the German Baron Albrecht von Boeselager, remained in the saddle thanks to their good contacts with the Vatican Secretariat of State and with Pope Francis. For a year now, the Order has again a Grand Master and Prince. The shift in power towards the Chancellor and the "German group" in the Order did not change that.

The new agenda: migration

The new slogans with which the Order is making public today are: migration, multiculturalism and multi-religiosity. Slogans that are popular in the current Vatican. So it is not surprising that Chancellor Boeselager praised UNO's controversial Global Compact for Migration as "an excellent instrument for managing the phenomenon of migration". The Holy See had sent none other than Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin to Marrakech to offer the papal blessing to the program of  new migration.

The "new" Order of Malta fulfills its agenda with German thoroughness and is also involved in the attacks against the Italian government, in which the Lega of Interior Minister Matteo Salvini sets new accents against uncontrolled mass immigration. Salvini announced last Sunday after the seventh election victory of his party within a year in a row: "And now we bring back Europe". Francis, on the other hand, sympathizes with the other side, who are involved in the project of the Eurocrats, which is also reflected in the Order of Malta

“Serious problems implied in the UN text, especially the threat to the freedom of the press and expression, have already become visible. Criticizing immigration will be banned in the EU and prosecuted by law. And with hard penalties. The Global Compact itself, " says Faverzani. "But the Maltese Knights either do not seem to know that, or they do not care, because they so enthusiastically and unconditionally agree with the project."

The new ways and the answer of Benedict XVI.

Grand Chancellor Boeselager announced another mega-front in which the oldest Catholic Order of Knights intends to play an active role: multi-religiosity and religious pluralism. In order to follow the words, deeds immediately follow, the Order will hold a conference in Rome "with representatives of different religions". Of course, she will also deal with the Order's humanitarian mission. The danger is obvious: Even in the course of the conflict between Grandmaster Festing and Grand Chancellor Boeselager had been warned that the "German group" wants to rebuild the Order into one of many, identityless humanitarian NGOs, which is little more than a compliant arm of left-liberal UN would be.

Benedict XVI. writes in his encyclical Deus Caritas Est of December 2005:

"The increasing number of organizations striving for man in his various needs is ultimately explained by the fact that the imperative of charity is inscribed by the Creator in the nature of man himself. But it is also a result of the presence of Christianity in the world, which repeatedly awakens and brings to life this often deeply darkened imperative. [...] It is all the more important that ecclesiastical action of love retains its full luminosity and does not simply merge as a variant of the general welfare system.”

And further:

"Inner awareness of the Catholic dimension of the Church will inevitably increase the willingness of the co-worker to coordinate with other organizations in service of the various forms of neediness; but this must be done in the light of the specific profile of the ministry that Christ expects of its disciples. [...] The practical action remains too little, if it does not feel the love of man himself, which nourishes the encounter with Christ. "

Politically correct to Aberophilia?

Even aberrophily has arrived at the time-honored order of knights. It does not appear on the official website of the order's administration, but on that of the Grand Priory of Rome. A press review featured an article in the daily La Repubblica, which Pope Francis said was the only newspaper he regularly reads. The article reports on a Roman comics festival on women's rights and "gender issues" of all sexual "affections" by creating "new images of contemporary heroines, lesbian love stories and women's friendship".

The learned philosopher and psychologist Mauro Faverzani adds:

"This is supplemented by the expressions of an unqualified and total agreement with the statements of Pope Francis, with particular attention to the topics of particular importance to him. They are the expression of a rediscovered idyll after the storms that took place a few years ago and led to a 'revision' of the Sovereign Knights and Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and Malta, as its official name once implied.
The Order is certainly very obedient. But is he still really sovereign? "

Bishop Fürst: “No Intercommunion”

Bishop of Rottenburg: A reception of the Catholic Eucharist by Protestant Christians and the Protestant Eucharist by Catholic Christians is not possible according to current ecumenical state of affairs.

Rottenburg (kath.net) Churches can not merge in a localized way. This was the opinion of the bishop of the Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart, Gebhard Fürst, at a discussion event in Ravensburg, RTL reported. A reception of the Catholic Eucharist by Protestant Christians and the Protestant Eucharist by Catholic Christians is not possible according to current ecumenical state of affairs. Reasons for it are, for example, a different understanding of the change of the substance in the Host and understanding of the Church. At the same time, the bishop encouraged further efforts for ecumenism.

Fürst explained, according to RTL: "But we are still not in church fellowship between the two confessions and that is necessary in our understanding, because you don’t merely receive the gifts as individuals, but in the community, which is supported by a particular faith.” Background of the discussion is the controversial "Ravensburg Declaration", which was signed in 2017 by representatives of the Protestant and the Catholic Church in the city and is in favor of a joint communion of the two denominations.
