BERLIN. [Junge Freiheit] The Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) has warned against attacks by Islamists on trains. Attack plans on trains are to play an increasingly important role, said a BKA spokesman of the Funke media group.

An Islamist magazine has called for attacks on trains by sabotaging railroad rails. "Even if there is no specific Germany coverage in the magazine, attacks of this kind are also conceivable in the Federal Republic of Germany

In the current issue of "Inspire", an English-language magazine for which the terrorist organization "Al-Qaeda on the Arabian Peninsula" is responsible,  they have published detailed instructions for the construction of a "derailment too." This is an "efficient weapon". It is "easy to produce," the executing terrorist does not die of martyrdom and traces could be "simply erased after the operation."

Three types of traffic on the railway

There are three ways to use trains as effective targets. "First, attack the wagon directly, from the inside or from the outside. Second, damage the rails at the destination to derail the train. Thirdly: attack the stations because there are always groups of people there and it can disable the traffic system."

The authors advocated a derailment as "a major influence on the economy." In addition, "the enemy is confused and disoriented by this new type of attack." The security authorities would also be "concerned about how to find a solution to this problem."

The terrorists, among other things, advertise the largest train accidents in the United States with hundreds of deaths. On a map, all the major railway lines of the country are sorted by company.(Ls)

Secret Militia Significantly Cuts Down Human Trafficking to Italy

In July and August the number of refugees arriving in Italy across the Mediterranean has declined significantly. Compared to the previous year, just under 90 per cent fewer refugees have reached the Italian coast, as the figures for the Italian Ministry of the Interior show. The decline is supposed to be related to a mysterious militia.

The number of refugees coming to Europe across the Mediterranean has recently declined radically. One reason for this could be a mysterious group. The so-called "Brigade 48" in the Libyan port of Sabratha ensures that there are no smuggling ships. Much is still unclear about the group: the members of the militia are armed, at the head of the group is said to be a former mafioso, who had perhaps even worked as a smuggler.

As the "Süddeutsche Zeitung" reported, the group recruits itself from former military and police officers. It is unclear who is behind the brigade and where it gets its money from. Should the government in Tripoli be responsible for them, this would be a spectacular turnaround: then money from Europe could flow indirectly into the pockets of the brigade. As the news agency Reuters has reported, the militia now consists of several hundred members. Witnesses report that members of the brigade are patrolling on the beaches and almost already appear as police.
Not the first incident in Libya
Similar developments took place last year in Sabratha's neighboring city Suwara, as a kind of citizen militia took over the control in the city and the city was mostly freed from human smugglers. How much influence the group has on the decline in refugee numbers is currently unclear. Fact: Compared to the previous year, the figures in August have fallen by almost 90 percent.

Whoever Adheres to Freemasonry

a.) Anyone who joins Freemasonry automatically incurs excommunication, which is simpliciter reserved to the Apostolic See.

The connection to Freemasonry is that one can be registered as a member. A special rite for reception is not required to incite excommunication. It is also not necessary for someone to take part in the Masonic meetings.

A freemason who wants to reconcile himself to the Church can only obtain the acquittal if he is completely separated from Freemasonry and removed from the membership list. He also has to promise never to pay a contribution, nor to participate in meetings of the lodge brothers. As far as possible, such a freemason must hand over all badges, books and documents to the ecclesiastical superior or his delegate. Furthermore, he must also make reparation for the offense as much as possible.

Muslims "Want" the Colosseum to Hold Their Friday Prayers

Colosseum and Constantine Arch: Symbols of Christian Martyrdom and the Constantine Wende. Now Muslims want to hold their Friday prayers there. The occasion is this year's sacrificial festival. Islamic superposition of Christianity and repression?

(Rome) On the 31st of August, the Islamic Sacrificial Festival begins in 2017, which will last until the 4th of September. The Muslim community of Rome wants to celebrate the feast at the famous Coliseum. The ruins are not only one of the best-known landmarks of the city, and also the expression of the highly developed architecture of the ancient Romans, but above all the symbol of early Christian martyrdom.

Occupation of the Milan cathedral for the Friday prayer

The Coliseum is particularly important. In the past, the Islamists have shown particular historical knowledge and, above all, attention for places of symbolic significance. The Coliseum has already been shown several times in pictures and in propagandavideos of the Islamic State (IS) - specifically in connection with the conquest of Rome.

Takeover of famous Christian places

The city on the Tiber is particularly hated by the Islamists. They consider Rome, not Washington, London, Berlin or Paris, as the capital of the world, because the Eternal City is the seat of the Pope. He is seen by the jihadists as the head of Christianity.

This coming Friday, the Muslims of Rome will hold their Friday prayer at the sacrificial festival "Eid al Adha" at the Coliseum. A corresponding application for a "religious event" was submitted to the Roman city administration. It is said that they want to condemn "the assassinations of Barcelona." Islamic critics have doubts and see in it a "pretext" to increase the chance for granting.

IS propaganda with burning Coliseum

The application was presented this year by the community of Bengali Muslims, represented by the Dhuumcatu Association. According to their request, they wants to occupy the entire exterior of the Coliseum, the Via San Gregorio and the area around the Constantine Arch, for her Friday prayers. This space has so far been connected annually with the Pope's Way of the Cross on Good Friday, transmitted by TV broadcasters all over the world. Islamic critics regard the proposal as a conscious attempt to "seize" a famous historical object, but also a deeply Christian symbol. It is about a "fight of the pictures" and about the "power of the pictures".

Politics and religion flow into Islam

In October 2016 500 Muslims had already gathered in the vicinity of the Coliseum for "prayer". In reality, it was a protest against the closure of numerous illegal mosques in the Italian capital. At the same time, they asked the new Mayoress Virginia Raggi (five-star movement), to include the city's Islamic places of prayer in the city map. Even then, the images of the prayer protest have triggered mixed reactions. The incident showed above all how seamlessly politics and religion in Islam flow into one another. The daily La Verità recalled the prediction of Muhammad:

"After to Constantinople, Rome will be subjected to Islam."

One does not have to go so far, say others. It is enough to look at the current propaganda videos of the Islamic State (IS) to recognize the importance of the coliseum for jihad. They show the coliseum under the black flag of the IS or in flames. "There is reason for concern," said Italian journalist Sarina Biraghi.

The spokesman of the Great Mosque of Rome, Omar Camiletti, hastened to comment:

"There are symbolic risks. Rome is our city. Damaging the image of Rome would also affect us, which is why we disapprove of such rallies."

Really, these words do not soothe.

Permission is still pending due to security concerns - historical-religious allusions

The requested authorization for the  Friday prayer on 1 September by the competent Quaestor, the highest state official in Rome, is still lacking because of security concerns. He is responsible for security and must also examine the permit in the light of the latest attacks and IS threats against Pope Francis.

The Bengali-Muslim Association Dhuumcatu establishes the application on their Facebook page with the words:

"At this festival, the Muslims commemirate the sacrifice brought by the Prophet Abraham peace be with him. It will also be an opportunity for us to express our indignation at the assassinations such as those of Barcelona. These criminals should know that they can never regard themselves as Muslims who endanger others."

But then it is said with historical and religious allusions that all the Romans are invited to sacrifice, because this "Islamic prayer" on the ancient triumphal road of Rome under the triumphal arch which Constantine dedicated to the victory over Maxentius in the Battle of the Milvian Bridge, will show what Islam really is in practice. "

The context of the Islamic Friday prayer with a historical turning point for Christianity and European history is "not clear," says La Verità.

"Who knows how the Muslims would react to a Christian procession in or near the Al-Haram Mosque in Mecca or on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem or some other symbolic location? But do not worry, there is no danger of such a Christian zeal - not even to protest against terrorism, much less the Islamic. "

Drone Buzzes Vatican Caused Concerns About Terror Attack

(Rome) Italyis on high alert, but this is also the case in the Vatican. The danger of an Islamist terror attack is taken very seriously by security experts. On Saturday an unidentified drone triggered an alarm over the Vatican.

A small flying object, actually of the size of a toy, left all antiterror safety levels switched to red in the city at the Tiber. The alarm triggered a carabinieri patrol in the early morning. They had seen a drone in the "no fly zone" near St. Peter's. The Antiterror alarm levels were activated by protocol. A police helicopter went up to secure the borough of Borgo from above. When the drone landed on the roof of a house within the district and identifications of drone owner and house owner were carried out, the former could not be found. The alarm has nevertheless been terminated. The house where the drone landed is only a stone's throw from Saint Peter's Square. The investigators traced the drone to a tourist who made a photo or film recording of St. Peter. Nevertheless, there is a polemic, since the incident shows how easily a potentially dangerous flying object can be approximated to a sensitive object and also disappear again. Rome is currently flooded by drones to view the sights from above. It's a new tourist hobby which has already led to heated discussion in security circles. A drone ban was already pronounced for individual districts. Last year, a 31-year-old US-American was detained because he had flown his drone into a forbidden flight zone.

Vatican spokeswoman downplays the matter  - Commander of the Swiss Guard sees it differently

In the Vatican they tried to down play the game. In contrast to the police, deputy press officer Paloma Garcia Ovejero said that there was "no alarm". Neither the video threatening the pope by the jihad militia Islamic State (IS) nor  the Barcelona bombings has changed threat levels, according to the spokeswoman.

The concern to preserve peace is in definite contrast to the latest statements by the commander of the Swiss Guard, Christoph Graf, which arise from concerns about possible Islamic terror attacks on the Vatican. "This is just a matter of time," the colonel added, adding that "the ongoing adjustment of their methods of training must also prepare the Swiss Guard for "terrorist threats."

The drones contribute to increased tension among the security forces, which - usually unnecessarily - have to pay attention to unidentified "toys." Last winter, the Italian secret service had sent a message to all security forces, warning of air attacks. Among other things:

"Over the past few weeks, the Israeli authorities have arrested two men on the border with Jordan, carrying a pair of self-propelled drones (Parrot brand) modified with a transport capacity of up to 3 kg. The two men are said to have reported the use of the drones for unspecified terrorist activities."

In the context of information from the Italian terrorist unit of the Carabinieri of Rome, a January 2017 a terror attack has been planned. In Rome, according to the source, Islamists were in contact with a hitherto unknown source, which discreetly and anonymously makes modifications to drones of the Parrot brand.

The Italian security forces are also worried because Islamic terrorists have been shown to have contact with Muslim circles in Italy and have also partly resided in Italy. This includes Anis Amri, the assassin of the Breitscheidplatz in Berlin. He drove a truck into a Christmas market, killing around 60 people. Afterwards he escaped to Italy, where he was killed by a police gunshot. Also, Amri's brother, Soufiane Amri (pseudonym Aka Abu Dharr), was temporarily in Italy.

Two weeks before the terror attempt in Berlin, the brothers were quartered in a hotel in the Italian harbor town of Ancona on the middle Adriatic Sea and met with other persons. What they did there is still unknown. Ancona is an important port for ferry boats. It links Greece and the Balkans with Italy. This is an important immigration route from the Middle East.

Barcelona Terror: "mayor was negligent for ideological reasons"

"The murderers are guilty, but the mayor of Barcelona was obviously negligent because she refused to secure the Rambla area for reasons of ideological correctness."

Santiago Martin, well-known priest and founder of the Franciscans of Mary, last Sunday during the sermon in his parish referred to the refusal of Mayoress Ada Colau to secure Rambla by traffic bollards as the government in Madrid had demanded. On 17 August, five men in the pedestrian zone rushed into the crowd with a vehicle. 14 people were killed in the terror attack by the Islamic State (IS), and we're 130 injured. Colau, mayor of the Catalan capital since 2015, is governed by Barcelona en Comú, a left-wing alliance of the left-wing populist movement Podemos, Greens, Communists and other leftist groups.

Cardinal Re: "Paul VI. Had Prepared Two Letters of Resignation"

(Rome) Had Pope Paul VI. already prepared for resignation? This is what Giovanni Battista Cardinal Re claimed in a long interview with the magazine Araberara, which was released yesterday.

The former prefect of the Congregation for the Bishops and the present Subdeacon of the Cardinal Collegium tells of "his" six popes, revealing a hitherto unknown detail.

Pope Paul VI, who ruled from 1963, died on 6 August 1978 of a heart attack. According to his closest collaborators, the abduction of his personal friend, the Italian Prime Minister and Christian Democrat politician Aldo Moro by the Communist Red Brigades (BR) had crushed him. The Pope had publicly offered himself to the terrorists as a hostage in exchange for Moro, but he was found murdered in a car on 9 May 1978.

Cardinal Re now revealed that Paul VI. had written two letters of resignation. The Cardinal does not make any connections. It is, however, to be assumed that they are directly related to the abduction of Moro and his readiness to be held hostage. Cardinal Re seems to be less concerned with the historical context, but with the current reference to a resignation of the Pope, which has been a subject of controversy since the unexpected resignation of Benedict XVI.

"At that time," said the Cardinal, church law did not foresee an apostate in the office of the Church, with the exception of the fact that the Cardinal's collegium assented to this. For this reason, Paul VI. wrote a letter of resignation, and sent a second letter to the Cardinal Dean, asking him to convince the Cardinal's collegium of the necessity releasing him from the Office.

Cardinal Re knew of these letters "because Pope John Paul II showed them to me."

The cardinal subdeacon  confirmed in the interview also a grueling stalemate, which was given in the two conclaves of the year 1978. Cardinal Secretary of State Giovanni Benelli and Cardinal Giuseppe Siri of Genoa were opposed to each other as opponents. Since neither Benelli nor Siri received sufficient votes to create the breakthrough, Patriarch Albino Luciani (John Paul I) and then the Archbishop of Krakow Karol Wojtyla (John Paul II) were elected as pope.

John Paul I said Cardinal Re: "He wanted to meet me and told me that he thought the papacy was too great a burden."

Chilean Jesuit as Zeitgeist Battler for Adoption by Aberrosexuals

(Santiago de Chile) There are things which must be intelligible by reason, or, as the saying goes, by a healthy understanding of the house. This includes the fact that a prohibition of homosexuals' adoption of children is the result of the fact that they have opted for a life change that excludes reproduction. The difference to heterosexual but unintentionally childless couples, who can adopt children, is obvious. Yet the evident is not obvious to everyone, especially if it contradicts the Zeitgeist.

Among the obtuse is the Chilean Jesuit Felipe Berrios, who was recently a guest of the TV program Mucho Gusto on the Chilean TV channel Mega.

In the television interview Father Berrios SJ states that he agrees that children may also be adopted by couples of the same sex.

Moreover, the Jesuit declared that for him homosexuality,  "is neither a bad thing nor a disease or a sin. The homosexuals are created by God and God wants them just as they are."

That the Holy Scriptures, the entire tradition of the Church, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church, say something else, does not seem to touch the Jesuits. He did not go into his position at all, but agreed to the more pleasant and simple song of the Zeitgeist.

France: Clear Shift in Seminaries -- Diocesen Seminarians Decline, Traditional and Communauté St Martin Communities Increase

What will the priest of tomorrow be like? France shows a clear
indication.

(Paris) The trend of the figures about French seminarians shows some notable trends. Riposte Catholique compares the figures of the seminarians of May 2017 with those of May 2010. What changes can be seen during these seven years, the duration which consists of an entire period of priestly formation?

At the end of the 2009/2010 academic year (shortly before priestly ordinations) there were 918 seminarians in France. At the end of the 2016/2017 academic year, the figure was 853. This represents a drop of seven percent.

The numbers include the diocesan seminaries and all seminarians, whether French or foreigners, who study for a French diocese. Also included are the secular priestly communities of tradition (including the Society of St. Pius Xth ) and the Communauté St. Martin, which is playing an increasing role in France. The picture is therefore not entirely complete, since the Catholic orders are missing. The statistics, however, deliberately includes the world clergy.

Seminarists in France: comparison between the academic years 2009/2010 and 2016/2017

The 94 French dioceses experienced a drop in French seminarians of almost a fifth (-18.2 percent). In the case of foreign seminarians preparing for a priesthood for a French diocese, the decline was even more pronounced and almost one quarter (23.1 per cent).

On the other hand, the priestly societies of tradition show an annual increase. The number of their seminarians rose from 140 in the academic year 2009/2010 to 160 in the academic year 2016/2017. This represents an increase of 14.3 percent.

During the same period, the Priestly Society of St. Martin (Communauté St. Martin), which was founded in 1976 by Jean-François Guérin, priest of the Archbishopric of Tours, was canonically erected with the help of the Archbishop of Genoa, Giuseppe Cardinal Siri. Guérin died in 2005, who was the Superior General until 2004, and was a member of the old-rite Benedictine Abbey of Fontgombault. The mother house and the community priest's seminary are now in the former Benedictine Abbey of Evron.

The Priestly Society of St. Martin, who had 43 seminarians in France in 2010, had 98 in the past year. It was able to more than double its numbers. The increase is 128 percent.

The figures do not include the members of the Propaedeutic (Preseminary).

Clear shifts in the overall picture

The changes also mean shifts in the overall picture. In 2010, French diocesan seminarians accounted for two-thirds (66%) of all seminarians preparing for the priesthood in France. With the foreign seminarians who studied for French dioceses, their share amounted to 80 per cent. The seminarians of the priestly communities of tradition accounted for 15.3 per cent of the total number. The Communauté St. Martin had a share of 4.7 percent.

In 2017, the picture is clearly different: the French diocesan seminarists now account for only 58 percent of all seminarians who are covered. Together with the foreign seminarians for French dioceses, their share is 69.7 percent. The proportion of the priestly communities of tradition has increased to 18.8 per cent, and that of the Communauté St. Martin even to 11.5 per cent.

The proportion of diocesan seminarians are also distributed quite differently in the diocese. Eleven of the 94 dioceses had only one seminarian in the past year, five had no one. 13 dioceses had only two seminarians, 17 more only three, and another 18 dioceses between four and five seminarians. In other words, two-thirds of the French bishops do not even have a new priest every year.

Half of the diocesan seminarians are from 13 of 94 diocese - except Frejus-Toulon

More than half of all diocesan seminarians are from 13 of the 94 dioceses. Two diocese stand out: the Archdiocese of Paris and the Diocese of Frejus-Toulon. The largest number, with 70 seminarians, is the Archdiocese of Paris. At the lower end of the list, the seminarians of 42 diocese are to be counted in order to reach the number of seminarians in Paris. The archdiocese includes 3.3 per cent of the inhabitants of France, but accounts for 11.8 per cent of diocesan seminarians and 8.2 per cent of all seminarians.

The Diocese of Frejus-Toulon in Provence is a real exception. It has been headed since 2000 by the Bishop Dominique Rey. Although the Diocese is only 1.6 per cent of the population of France, the small diocese, with 42 seminarians, represents seven per cent of all diocesan seminarians and almost five per cent of all seminarians. On the whole, the seminary of Frejus-Toulon attracts most priestly vocations in proportion. At the seminary, 66 seminary participants were trained in the last academic year. In the past, Bishop Rey has promoted the establishment or founding of new orders and communities, including those with a missionary and traditional charism. The education at the diocesan seminary of Frejus-Toulon is also appreciated by priests of tradition.

27 dioceses had more seminarians in 2017 than in 2010. Not all of them signify a trend reversal, but some already. Worth mentioning was the increase, especially in the diocese of Lyon, Bayonne, Rennes, Montpellier, Meaux, Saint-Brieuc and Digne. The diocese of Bayonne is also headed by Monsignor Marc Aillet, a traditional bishop, who belongs to the Priestly Society of St. Martin.

Overall, a general shift can be observed. It leads away from the post-conciliar spirit and in a graded way towards the tradition.

First Priestly Ordination in the Immemorial Mass in Nigeria Since Liturgical Reform

(Abuja) On 15 August, the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary a first Mass was celebrated in Nigeria in the Immemorial Roman Rite.

Monsignor Gregory Ochiaga, the emeritus bishop of Orlu ordained Deacon Charles Ike from the Priestly Society of St. Peter to the priesthood. The priestly ordination took place in the parish of Enneemaka of Umuaka, which is supervised by the Society of St. Peter. Umuaka is located in the state of Imo.

Nne Enyemaka is Igbo, the language of the people of the same name who live in southeast of Nigeria, and stands for Our Lady of Perpetual Help. A copy of the Roman image is revered in the parish church built by the Society of Peter. The construction work is still ongoing.

The parish was established by the incumbent Bishop of Orlu, Augustine Uwuoma as a personal parish for the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite.

It is the first priestly ordination in the Immemorial Roman Rite, which has been offered in Nigeria since the liturgical reform of 1969/1970.

Barcelona: Terror Cell Appartently Had Sagrada Familia in Its Sights

Investigators: Behind the terrorist attack in Barcelona and the assassination attempt in Cambrils, stood a terror cell, which might have actually had Barcelona's famous basilica "Sagrada Familia" in its sights.

Bacelona (kath.net) Behind the terrorist attack in Barcelona and the assassination attempt in Cambrils stood a terror cell, which might have actually the famous church "Sagrada Familia" in its sights. This was reported by N-TV and other media. According to Spanish media reports, the investigators found images of the Gaudí cathedral when they had analyzed the computer data of the suspects.

The investigators further suspect that the terrorists originally planned a major attack with hundreds of dead, but could not realize it by an accident.

N-TV also reported that, according to the investigators, the Moroccan Imam Abdelbaki Es Satty, who lives in Spain, could be responsible for the radicalization of the group. The young men, who became perpetrators, were between 17 and 18 years old and have apparently radicalized themselves only in contact with the Imam. Earlier, they apparently did not have any links with Islamic terrorism.

It was begun in the last century by Antoni Gaudí and consecrated in 2010 by Pope Benedict XVI.On Sunday the funeral service for the victims of the terrorist attack took place. The church is visited annually by about two million tourists and is considered one of Barcelona's great landmarks.

Russian Orthodoxy Sees Progress in the Dialogue with Catholics

Moscow Metropolitan Hilarion in newspaper interview: A lot has happened in the past ten years - progress also in the political relationship between Russia and the Holy See

Rome (kath.net/KAP) Russia's Orthodox Church sees a "significant step" in dialogue with the Catholic Church. In the last ten years, much has been done in relation to each other. As well as between Russia and the Holy See, said the Foreign Minister of the Moscow Patriarchate, Metropolit Hilarion, the Italian daily "Il sole 24 ore" (Thursday). There is consensus on current problems such as the loss of spiritual values ​​and Christian persecution. "This is a problem which disturb both the Orthodox Church and the Holy See in all of our soul, and drives us to unite our forces to find a common solution," the Metropolitan said.

10,000 Pilgrims of the Society of St. Pius X this Weekend at Fatima -- "Largest Pilgrimage in 100 Years at Fatima"

10,000 Faithful are expected at the Fatima Pilgrimage of the Society of St. Pius X this weekend, which has already generated media attention in the run-up. It is the fourth Fatima Pilgrimage of the FSSPX. The first took place in 1987 with Archbishop Lefebvre

On Sunday, August 20, at noon, worshiping the Eucharistic blessing will end at 6:30. At 9:30 am a pontifical High Mass, will be celebrated by the General Superior of the Society of Pius X, Bishop Bernard Fellay. At 3 pm, a common rosary closes the pilgrimage.

After the rosary, the consecration of the Militia Immaculatae and its members to the Immaculate Heart of Mary takes place in the same locale. The Militia was founded in Rome on 17 October, 1917 by St. Maximilian Kolbe. That was four days after the last Marian apparition in Fatima, which Kolbe at that time still knew nothing. And it was three weeks before the Bolshevik October Revolution broke out in Russia. As if he had known it, Kolbe had with the Militia already created as an antidote to the rearing of totalitarianism and enemies of the Church. In 2000, P. Karl Stehlin (FSSPX), along with the Novus Ordo Militia, also revived Militia Immaculatae in the spirit of tradition.

The Portuguese daily Jornal de Noticias reports in its edition today that 10,000 pilgrims will come to the pilgrimage of the Society of Pius X to Fatima next weekend. The title of the article, however, is obviously formulated with bad intentions:

"10,000 pilgrims protest in Fatima against the present Church"

No Catholic undertook a pilgrimage to "protest" against something. The article itself contains more applicable information.

Even more generous space was given to the FSSPX pilgrimage by the daily newspaper Diario de Noticias. It's headed:

"Greatest pilgrimage on the 100th anniversary comes from conservative community".

The article describes the reasons for the pilgrimage and briefly describes the current situation of the relations between the Society of St. Pius X and the Holy See. A big picture in the article shows Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, the founder of the Society. The Society has already carried out three pilgrimages to Fatima in the past. The first took place in 1987. 30 years ago, Monsignor Lefebvre also participated. The other two pilgrimages followed in 1997 and 2005.

Are discussions with Rome again at the "starting point"?

The media interest could be related to expectations that Bishop Fellay made statements on the current situation that resulted from Cardinal Müller's letter to the FSSPX's Superior General. Four days later, on 30th June, the Cardinal was dismissed by Pope Francis as Prefect of the Congregation for Doctrine of and the Faith.

Cardinal Müller, on 26 June, informed Fellay that the Congregation for the Congregation at its General Assembly of May had decided that the Society of Pius X and every Society member would have to sign the Doctrinal Preamble as a condition for canonical recognition. Such was offered to Monsignor Fellay in September 2011 by Cardinal Levada, the Prefect of the Congregation of Doctrine and the Faith at that time. The exact wording thereof was never published. Little changes could be made, as Cardinal Levada explained to the Society (see the chronology of the conversations between the Holy See and the Pius Brotherhood ).

At the end of June, Cardinal Müller also announced that this conditio sine qua non was endorsed by Pope Francis. The sitution in August 2017 is again or still, what Monsignor Fellay already said in June 2012: one was again at the "point of departure"?

SSPX: The Numbers

[Katholisches] The Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X (FSSPX) includes 635 priests, 215 seminarians and 40 pre-seminarians, 117 religious brothers and 79 oblates. The priests live in 165 priories in 32 countries and have 772 centers in 72 countries around the world.

A total of 14 districts and four autonomous houses are subordinate to the General House. Six priestly seminaries are run by the Society.

195 Sisters belong to the sister branch. 17 sisters are among the missionaries in Kenya, founded by Bishop Fellay in 2011. Four Carmel monasteries are connected to the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X.

Porno Film Shot in a Church: Dutch Prosecutor Dismisses Charge

(The Hague) The Dutch Prosecutor's Office refuses to charge prosecution for a porn film shot in a Catholic church.

Yesterday, on the occasion of the Feast of the Assumption, the Dutch Prosecutor's Office archived the complaint against the producer and the performers of a porn film, for shooting in the church dedicated to St. Joseph in Tilburg, better known as Heuvelse Kerk. Tilburg is located in the Dutch province of Nordbrabant.

Because of the devastation of the church, the city council had received a report from the priestly council. The public prosecutor's opinion, however, is that "no criminal offense" was committed. The behavior was indeed "disrespectful", but one could not recognize a criminal offense when the penal code was read. "Blasphemy is not punishable" in the Netherlands, which is why there is no law violation, the prosecutor's office said in their statement yesterday.

Two actors were filmed in a side passage of the church and in a confessional committing a sex act.

Professor Harrie de Swart, responsible for the administration of the church, expressed his surprise at the decision of the prosecutor. He recalled that the actors had to overcome a barrier to get to the "filming locations".

The prosecutor informed that the church could seek a civil procedure. Whether it will come to such a thing is not certain. De Swart yesterday advised the diocese, for "there has been enough excitement in this cause which has led to nothing."

The 81-year-old Jan van Noorwegen, who is a priest at the church, carried out a rite reparation, when the church desecration became known at the beginning of the year. The Heuvelse Kerk was built in neo-gothic style in the 1870s.

The film was shot for Meiden van Holland, the video channel owned by the Dutch porn actress Kim Holland.

Evil Dominican Lashes Out at "Tyranny" of Tradition

An article published at the Dominican Order's official website said Radcliffe addressed "absolutism and 'the tyranny of tradition at the exclusion of creativity'" in a May 10 talk in Brisbane, Australia.
