Berlin's Archbishop Woelki For Dialogue With the SSPX

Edit: this is the first that it's clear that the Society is expected, at least according to Archbishop Woelki, to accept the Second Vatican Council completely. It's also important to note that the Society continues to distance itself from and isolate Bishop Williamson.

The leadership continues to hold out hope for the "conservative" leadership of the Church.

Deutschlandradio Kulture interviewed Berlin's Archbishop Woelki about a relationship with the SSPX.  Here is an excerpt from the interview.

D-Radio:   But to whom is this rejection directed -- perhaps even to a Pope, who still directed a reconciliation with the Ultra-orthodox Society of St. Pius X, even though aware a member was a holocaust denier? [This again...]

Woelki:  For that reason, I believe the Pope has performed a very importance service.  His task consists precisely in forming reconciliation and unity, and in fact it comes straight from his office and in Tradition, which is also that of Taizé.  So it is not enough now to just close a group out, rather we stress here also the political arena is just as important as dialogue, to get to know people, and only then, when one speaks to another, can one integrate and then reconcile.  And I think that this is the important mission of this Papal office, to stand for the unity of the Church and seek this unity of the Church.

D-Radio:  But isn't it difficult to communicate and integrate this group of all things?

Woelki:  I don't know.  Therefore I think one doesn't know about this group ... It is surely a difficult group, it is not my group and one has to be very careful to maintain that now all, who belong to this group, are holocaust deniers or even belong to radical right bodies of thought.  There is in fact one of these, completely  insensible and irrational men, who did this, and so far as I know, the other so-called Bishops, who are also not approved by us,  by the Catholic Church,  have even distanced themselves from this man.

No, there is a group, that has problems with accepting certain statements in the Second Vatican Council in a certain way.  And I think that the dialogue has shown that the Pope is clearly on the level with the Second Vatican Council, and that he and now also these men, whom he has commissioned to lead this conversation has made it clear that the SSPX must accept statements about the Second Vatican Council otherwise no communion with the Catholic Church is possible.

Commentary from SSPX German District:  HE Bishop Woelki here represents the represents the course of most conservative Church leaders: In contrast to the enemies of the Society, they do not throw all the Bishops and priests in the Williamson-bag and recognize that the Priestly Society of St. Pius X has nothing to do with right--wing ideologies.

Because the current course is now set in Rome is on reconciliation and brotherhood,  the discussions with the Society will continue.

The Society of St. Pius X is regarded in this way as a mule, who has simply not yet understood that the Council "as a whole" has to be accepted.

This approach completely bypasses the problem of course:  The Catholic Church is in complete collapse 50 years after the Council.  You must pray for Msgr Woelki and all the other more or less conservative bishops that they come to appreciate at last this context:  the reason for the massive apostasy is the Council, at least those portions  that the progressives exploit with their new theology of the equality of all religions,  to prey on the Church.   This is how the Church has lost its purpose and consciousness of mission, and in consequence the loss of Holy Mass (replaced by a community meal) and therefore also vocations.

So long as the bishops do not recognize the crisis in the Church and their causes, there will remain a dialogue, which completely misses the point.

80 Percent of German Catholics no Longer Believe in God

Edit: sounds like Germany has more serious problems than the SSPX.

If it is the case that  80 percent of all German Catholics no longer believe in a personal God, then the alarm bells should be ringing.  Or if it can be said that 70 percent of Christians in Germany no longer believe in the Resurrection of the dead, then these alarm bells are ringing shrilly."  Bishop William Schramle said that he is duly concerned more women in service of the church, but are denied n interview with the 'Passauer Neuen Presse'.   The expression about the alarm bells is a euphemism.  That is closer to a declaration of bankruptcy, when one considers above all, that a remaining 20 percent remaining also do not believe in the entirety of Catholic teaching.

Furthermore Bishof Schraml is eager to include more women in the service of the Church, but forbids their admission into the sacramental offices.  He even had the courage to use the word apostasy in refererence to Hans  Küng's proposals for priestless Eucharists -- and saying the words of consecration together.

Father Schmidberger Addresses Assisi Meetings and Relativism

Fatal Result. The scandalous Assisi event of Pope John Paul II has been understood by Catholics in a way: "For each to make sanctify it according to his own fashion".

(kreuz.net) Vocations must be formed holistically.

Only in this way can the faithful receive a holistic vision of the Christian life, where private, familial, professional and social life be put together "as from one mold".

Father Franz Schmidberger(65) - mathematician and Superior of the German District of the Society of Saint Pius X said to newsportal 'kathnews.de' on 7. December.

The practical disappearance of vocations in the Conciliar Church, he continued, has led to the situation that there is hardly any more possibility "for a joyful, faithful youth, for Christian families for parishes erected with a missionary spirit or for the return to working to bring souls to penitence."

The Beginning: A heretical definition of the Mass

Father continued to speak about the Society's critique of the New Mass.

He cited the first edition of the Mass book in 1969:

"The Lord's Supper or the Mass is the holy gathering together or the meeting of thep people of God, who come together under the presiding of a priest, to celebrate the memorial of the Lord. For that reason the physical meeting of the Holy Church in an brilliant mass makes valid Christ's promise. >>Wherever two or three are gathered in my name, there will I be among them.<< (Mt 18, 20)"

The clergyman pointed out that in this representation "all elements" of the Sacrifice of the Mass fall short, which are set out in the 22nd Session of the Council of Trent in 1562.

The Liturgy on the Drawing Board Remains

Father Schmidberger admitted that this heretical Mass definition was "somewhat improved" a year later.

But: "The defined thing itself, namely the Liturgy elaborated on the drawing board remained the same. A one meal fellowship being presided over by a the Priest. Almost nothing was mentioned about adoring God and atoning for sins. On the other hand the SSPX insists that the Holy Mass is the unbloody renewal of the bloody Sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the Cross.

This is so that people in todays pleasure society can be brought to holiness, to the supernatural and Sanctifying Grace, to self-donation and to be led to serve.

The Old Mass Remains the Mass of all Things

The celebration of the Old Mass -- says Father Schmidberger -- has won ground "not spectacularly, but respectably" after the Motu Proprio:

"If the Bishops weren't giving their resistance to it, it would be much more broadly
diffused."

The Old Mass remains the measure for every Liturgy, "which is the perfect Liturgical expression of Catholic Dogma."

Above all there must be a "overthrowing of the (un)Spirit of the Council":

"The poison must be forced out of the mystical body of the Lord."

A Great Scandal

Concerning the subject of interreligion, Father Schmidberger recalled the Assisi Meeting of 1986:

"That was a great scandal for the entire Church, an offense against the first Commandment of God and against the first article of our Creed."

Above all this had put the "spirit of relativism" in the head to a considerable degree: "For each to make sanctify it according to his own fashion, say the people".

For Father Schmidberger it is "inexplicable how such a false step could be dedicated by a silver jubilee."

The Pope has attempted to address critics of the meeting by pushing the meeting "more to a cultural appearance".

Still the central problem with that is not put to the side for Father Schmidberger.

It consists in the "exclusion of the question of reality and the darkening of the reality that Christ is the only savior of the human person and the only true Prince of Peace in this world."

Healthcare Worker Suspended for Trashing the Pope on Line

Edit: why don't they start suspending priests for twelve weeks without pay?

Germany.
The church may terminate employees without notice if they offend the Pope. That is what the State Court of Baden-Württemberg decided yesterday, according to German press reports. In this specific case, there was a nurse who worked at a hospital of Caritas in Lake Constance. He spread defamatory articles against the Pope on the Internet under a pseudonym. When the author became known, 'Caritas' suspended the nurse without notice. Then he got twelve weeks without unemployment benefits. However, despite going against the ruling and has now lost. The plaintiff must also behave off duty so that "no contradiction to the principles of operation of employment" arises - the judges found.

The German Bishops Profit from Porn: Weltbild

Edit: This has been an issue for thirty years. Kath.net has just reported that Cologne has severed their relationship with Weltbild, an enormous publishing company which falls in just under Amazon in terms of revenue. Recently, there has been a tremendous reaction against this which is becoming increasingly intense.

The following article is from an anti-Catholic publication, 'Business Insider'. The only people reporting on this so far in English, are anti-Catholics. The conservative Catholic German media has been reporting on it non-step for the last two or three weeks.

One of Germany's largest publishing companies, Weltbild, has over 2,500 erotic novels in its online catalogue. Its owned 100 percent by the German Catholic Church.

Worldcrunch, summarizing an article by German newspaper Die Welt, says that for over 10 years Catholics have complained about the company, which has been owned by the church for over 30 years. The high point of this opposition came in 2008, when a 70-page report on the book sales was sent to bishops.

Die Welt reports that the situation came to light after a report this month mentioned the erotica distributed by Weltbild. The publication also said that over half of the bishops who were sent the report in 2008 failed to acknowledge receipt of the document.

Old Liberal Bishop Doesn't Have Anything "Certain"

Old Liberal Bishop Doesn't have anything "Certain"

Altliberaler Bischof hat nichts „Festes“

Germany.  The Old Liberal Bbishop Franz-Josef Bode of Osnabrück likes to talke about faith-communication more than of catechesis [Glaubenvermitteln].  He said this in an interview with Cologne 'domradio.de'.  The word catechize seems to the Bishop to show too much as if  "one had something >>certain<< that he can pass down.  On the contrary, the Bishops wants to "enter into an exchange."

Lecture by Professor Walter Hoeres

On October 15th Professor Walter Hoeres in Hattersheim gave a lecture on Pastor Hans Milch  (1924-1987), the founder of the chapel of St. Athanasius.

This is where professor Hoeres studied with Pastor Milch and then fought alongside him later against the decline of the Church, and learned to know him very well.  He impressively adumbrated for his listeners the thought of his colleague.

Father Hans Milch was raised in a strict protestant family home in Wiesbaden and converted during his captivity in the war in France to the Catholic Faith, which was a tremendous shock for his family.

He studied back then with the Jesuits in St. George and finally became the pastor in Hattersheim.  Because of his sympathy for Archbishop Lefebvre he was defrocked from his office and founded actio spes unica a movement of Traditional Catholics, who occupied the chapel in Hattersheim.

He was especially well known for his preaching.   One consideration which he always stressed was that Catholics should form an elite in society.  It was an interesting lecture which brought listeners closer to one who was zealous for the Faith.

Two Lutheran Pastors Have Become Catholic

National Lutheran Priests from East Germany convert to the Catholic Church by assisting at Holy Eucharist and professing the Nicene Creed.  They are preparing themselves now for the priesthood.

Dresden (kath.net) Two National Lutheran pastors have used their summer vacations to convert to the Catholic Church.  Jochen Schubert, who is married and has a daughter, is leaving the Lutheran rectory of Seelinstädt and has settled in Dresden.  Also Jens Bulisch from Schmölln near Bischofswerda has completed the step.  The 39 year old is married and the father of two children.  This was reported in "Der Sonntag", the weekly paper for the Evangelical Lutheran National Church of Saxony.  Both theologians work as pastoral assistants of the Catholic Diocese of Dresden-Meissen and are preparing also to become Catholic priests.

Bulisch had developed a growing coldness to Christian ritual according to the "Ostthüringer Zeitung".  "Are they celebrating the people themselves or God?",  so said the theologian found himself often asking.  And "Der Sonntag"  mentioned that there were still further theological considerations, some over the understanding of the priestly office, as well as personal experiences with the Catholic Church played a role,  to foster a decision "growing over the years".

Schubert was already known in the Evangelical Community for his love for Catholic traditions, noted the "Ostthüringer Zeitung".  He puts much value on the Liturgy, the use of a black instead of a white cassock and is said to have stressed Catholic feast days like All Saints, usually more than the inner-Evangelical ones.

The conversion to the Roman Catholic Church was consummated on the 25th of July this year, in which they assisted at a Catholic  Holy Mass and professed the Nicean Creed, reported, "Der Sonntag".

Pastor Fired For Showing Pornographic Pictures to Students

Editor: It looks like the Protestants have a vocations shortage as well. It will be interesting to see if the porno-calender was actually part of the approved instruction plan.

Dresden (kath.net/idea) The Saxon Church has dismissed a pastor from his position, because he had recommended a calender with erotic Bible scenes to his students. According to the Press Speaker Matthias Oelke (Dresden), Gunter Odrich was from the community of Graupa-Liebethal at Pirna, is to be placed on leave.

He may apply for a new position. At the present, there are 40 free positions within the Church of Saxony. It is yet to be seen if a possibly "fruitful" accord can be established between the less than 900 member Community. Thereon it has become clear that between the pastor and his community are some differences.

The backround and flashpoint of Odrich's activity as Religion Instructor at Herder-Gymnasium in Prima had been, where he created a furor by giving a calender with erotic Bible scenes to 9th graders (17-18 year olds).

For that reason he may not be employed any longer as a religion instructor. Odrich insisted only that he was using material from the teaching plan. In order to oppose his suspension, he has four weeks to appeal the decision of the State Church of Saxony.

Berlin's Mayor: "Gays" and Protestants are "Committed Allies"

Editor: How much more evidence do Protestants need in order to understand that this five hundred year experiment with Liberalism has been a failure?
Comrade Wowerweit

For honorable Protestants, who are still gathered in Germany, the time has come to become Catholics.

(kreuz.net) On the 24th of June the Berlin mayor, Comrade Klaus Wowerweit, will spread homosexual propaganda in the Lutheran Marian Church.

The occasion was for a march of homosexuals in the German Capital City.

Wowerweit is himself suffering from the condition of homosexuality.

According to reports from the Evangelical Portal 'medrum.de' the so called "Evangelical Church' of Germany is in his official estimation described as "committed ally" of the sin of Sodom.

The Godless event will include Kirchenkreis Berlin-Statdtmitte [Church Circuit in Berlin Central] and the militant anti-Christian Lesbian and Gay Association of Germany.

The official German Protestants have officially betrayed Christendom last November.

Since then, they promote the Homosexual Ideology.

The synod of the so-called 'Evangelical Church in Germany' have concluded unanimously to place the sin of Sodom on the same level as marriage.

The Sin of Sodom as a Gift from God

The - only on paper existing -- Berlin Protestants bless homosexual partnerships -- although Martin Luther († 1546)rejected the Nuptial Mass and regarded Marriage as a merely "secular thing".

This demonstrates that this Protestantic homosexual ceremony is only a propaganda affair for the normalization of homosexuality.

The superintendant of the Church Circuit in Central Berlin, Bertold Höcker, is according to 'medrum.de' an indisputable supporter of the homosexual mayor of Berlin.

Höcker was also present at the Godless event.

He pled during this for the sin of Sodom to be conceived as a "gift of God".

The site 'medrum.de' also informs that the national bishop of the so-called Evangelical Church in Bavaria, Johannes Friederich, is a hardened homo-ideologue.

Feeble Opposition

The Protestant response to those who support the normalization of homosexuality is feeble.

According to reports of 'medrum.de' the Evangelical Church in Baden has decided not to participate with the homosexual-disorder in the march with the 'Evangelical Church in Germany'.

A decision of the Church of Wurttemburg is still unavailable.

Even in Bavaria there is some opposition.

It is however only a question of time, till sodomy thoroughly infests these districts.

It serves for the separation of extremists

A proper disposition was undertaken by the 'Lutheran Evangelical Circle Church Section.'

The Stuttgart Church Council Hans Lachenmann (83) is a member of the 'Initiative Circle'.

He maintains: "The divine image will be damaged by the confusion between the female vagina with the male rectum."

And: "That one is an organ for the wonder of new life, and the other one serves as the elimination of excrement."

In order to come to this understand, one needn't await the most recent adjudication -- he answered to an objection to the Berlin Homosexual Ideologue Höcker.

The Germany wide oriented 'Lutheran Church Profile' became public in January of 2011.

Note from Wikipedia: The Evangelical Church of Germany (German: Evangelische Kirche in Deutschland, abbreviated EKD) is a federation of 22 Lutheran, Reformed (Calvinist) and United (Lutheran plus Calvinist) Protestant regional church bodies in Germany. The EKD is not a church in a theological understanding because of the denominational differences. However, the member churches (Gliedkirchen) share full pulpit and altar fellowship. The EKD has a membership of 24.832 million parishioners or 30.2% of the German population (status 31.12.2007).[2] Membership rates fell in 2008 to 24.515 million parishioners or 29.9% by the end of 2008.[3]

Cardinal Kasper Denies Suggestions of Schism Brewing in Germany

Editor: Cardinal Kasper also made controversial and encouraging statements earlier last week when he said that more people Communicated with the right intention before the Council than after translated here on Catholic Church Conservation.

The former Curial Cardinal considers the contention of Italian Vaticanista Tornielli about a threatened schism as a "hypothetical construction"

Bonn (kath.net/KAP) Cardinal Walter Kasper has rejected speculations about a threatened Church schism in Germany. Corresponding notions which appeared in "Focus" are also supposed to be in an alleged Vatican circulating dossier, which the long standing President of the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of Christian Unity, according to a report in the "Zeit" enclosure "Christ and World" this Tuesday, had described as "conspiracy theory" and "hypothetical constructions built up, combined with bits of information and other inadequacies."

The Cardinal explained the motives of the conspiracy theorists: "it seems that they want to breed mistrust and provoke a schism." The Munich news magazine had reported on Pentecost that there is an unofficial dossier circulating in the Vatican, which suggests that there is a schism in the Catholic Church in Germany. Behind this romantic current are hidden church societies, individuals from the German Bishops Conference, Catholic politicians and parts of the Jesuit Order.

The substantiation for this report is according to research from "Christ and World" a blog report by the mostly well-informed Vatican journalist of the paper "La Stampa", Andrea Tornielli. He reported on June 8th that some in the Vatican believe that in the foreground of the Papal Visit there will be a concentrated action of reformist forces in German Catholicism.

Kasper speaks thereon, that there is in his opinion no centrally controlled action of German Catholics for schism. The actions which the alleged dossier describe, whereabouts the open letter of Catholic politicians from January and the memorandum of Theologians in February were, according to the Cardinal, individual actions and not centrally coordinated. The Cardinal doesn't know of a collaboration which according to "Christ and World" has any direction from Vatican circles: "Who should that have been? I know no one here who would do such a thing."

Kasper understands with a view to the Catholic Church in Germany on the great interest for the Papal Visit in September. "There is a great, till now mostly silent majority, to whom one or the other critical questions are appealing, who otherwise are fed up with the other side and simply want to be Catholic," he said.

German Politician Criticizes Turkey's Treatment of Christian Minority

Religious freedom shouldn't just be on paper.

Konstanz (www.kath.net/ idea) The President of the CDU/CSU Factino in the Bundestag, Volker Kauder, effected a criticism of Turkey's relations with its christian minority. The recognition of the Turkish government, that all religions should have their place, must follow from deeds just as before, said Kauder to Konstanz's "Südkurier". According to his observations Turkey is continued unaltered a "politic of pulling Christian roots". Thus, there is no priestly formation allowed.

A one hundred year old Monastery like Mor Gabriel, the spiritual center of the Syriac-Orthodox Church in the area of Tur (Mountain of the Servant of God)in the Southeastern part of Turkey, is having its land put in dispute. "That doesn't work", says Kauder. Religious freedom shouldn't just be on paper. The politician continued that there are few lands in which Islam allows other religions to freely develop. The reason is that cultures imbued with Islam have no meaningful separation between religious community and the State.

The Power of Religion

As to the question why he is insisting on religious freedom, Kauder answered that a politician, for whom the Christian conception of man's image is a model, must involve the concern for human rights as well. As a Christian, says Kauder, he feels a special duty to stand by his fellow Christian brothers and sisters. He was shocked about reports of persecuted Christians who were put in stifling containers because of their faith.

At the same time he wonders at the courage of these people to sacrifice for their faith. As an example Kauder described the Catholic Bishop in the metropolis of Shanghai, Aloysius Jin. The over ninety year old Priest described his painful suffering during the Cultural Revolution's oppressive surveillance. Despite their power, the Chiense government fears the Pope in distant Rome. "That makes me conscious about what power religion can have", said Kauder.

The SSPX in Germany Lauds 'Universae Ecclesiae'

Editor: Something for everyone.

(kreuz.net) The Old Liberal Front in the German -- the theoflunkies, journalists and Bishops -- rebel against the new Instruction 'Universae Ecclesiae'.

That is the result of the first reaction to the document.

The German Bishops' Conference published only a brief press release on the publication of the new document.

The current Counsel of the Bishop's Conference will "advise" on the Instruction of the next meeting in June -- completely unnecessarily.

Accordingly, the original Guidelines of 2007 have "only been slightly altered".

The Nattering Bishops

The statement of the Bishops Conference attempted to downplay the importance of the Mass of All Times:

"In Germany there are 128 locations which celebrate the Mass at irregular intervals.

For that reason they are not organized in communities.

In comparison to which: In Germany there are 11,300 Parish Communities."

That these parish Communities are, in comparison to Old Rite Communities, massively over aged and spiritual dead is not discussed.

The Novus Ordo Eucharistic Celebration Expresses a Theological Break.

The speaker of the "Workers Community of Catholic Liturgists", the layman Benedict Kranemann, also criticized the Instruction.

Kranemann teaches in Erfurt.

He lamented that the Instruction had not taken into account the Critique of the German Bishop's Conference and the German State-theoflunkies.

There is a danger that "tensions within the Church will be intensified".

Kranemann asks, how "two different forms of religious services could stand for the same theology?"

This -- justifiable -- objection had been made also by Italian Liturgists.

In any case: The Sedevacantists are Discussed

The chief editor of the German 'Catholic News Agency', Ludwig Ring-Eifel, maintains, that the Instruction has "validated decisively the Traditionalist Faithful" in almost all points of argument.

The Instruction "has made an enormous entrance with the inhabitants of this stream near the Bishops" -- wrote Ring-Eifel almost as precisely careful as the Instruction itself.

In reality the Instruction forbids the Bishops to offer the ordination in the Old Rite in their Diocese.

Finally, Ring-Eifel commented on a "sharp" cut off of "tradionalist fanatics, who go so far as to declare the New Mass as invalid."

He mentioned the Sedevacantist position, in order to insinuate the Society of St. Pius X:

"The adherents of the Society of St. Pius X, which is at present in discussions over dogmatic conflicts with Rome, must decide where they stand."

Society of St. Pius X Praises Instruction

The German district superior of the Society of St. Pius X, Father Franz Schmidberger, boisterously praised the Instruction to the German 'Catholic News Agency'.

The Pope has placed a necessary bar on the arbitrary sidetracking of the Motu Propio by many Bishops.

The Cleric was especially pleased that the Instruction has promoted better Latin instruction.

Fr. Schmidberger sees a "serious Will" of the Vatican, 'to protect holiness of the Liturgy".

SSPX Organizes Pro-Life Procession in Freiburg

From the District Website: The yearly demonstration for unborn life has taken place in Freiburg!

With the approval of the police, the Society of St. Pius X organized an event for the prayer demonstration in front of the Abortion Clinic 'Pro Familia' in Freiburg on Wednesday on 27. April. There were approximately 200 faithful praying the stations of the cross and drawing finally through to the city center. The concluding speech was given by the Pro-life Movement, President Walter Ramm.

There were at times eighty policemen present to protect the pilgrims.

And from kreuz.net, the following:

If the defense of the violence of abortion is obviated, then the National Socialism of modern Germany can be swallowed without a problem.

(kreuz.net, Freiburg)The day before yesterday about two hundred brave defenders of human rights demonstrated against the violence of abortion.

It involved a democratic demonstration of the healthy forces among the people.

It was organized by one of the most famous Catholic groups in Germany -- the internationally active Society of St. Pius X.

The abortionists know only one argument: violence

The human rights advocates brought about two dozen of the leftist defenders of the violence of abortion to burning white hot. They had flocked together to fight against democracy and human rights.

The enemies of children violated the personal rights of the democratic demonstrators with a fanatical howl.

They were even encouraged in this to assault the human rights demonstrators with condoms.

The enemies of children found powerful allies in the media bosses.

So, the 'Baische Zeitung' played down the left fascist street violence.

The paper of the regime also underrated the number of the demonstrators down to "120“.

Stupidly they weren't in agreement with the anti-life fascist online news site 'fudder.de'.

Because this one reported -- even still evasively-- twice as many human rights protesters than were there.

'Badische Zeitung' downplayed the fascist racism

The courageous life defenders prayed in front of an abortion "clinic" of the German child murder firm, 'Pro Familia'.

This company was founded after the Second World War by a National Socialist, Racist.

The 'Badische Zeitung' unscrupulously downplayed the company's function by saying that they provide a place where, "in 'pro familia' pregnant women are advised".

The peaceful human rights demonstrators carried posters in order to call people's attention to this manipulation.

There we were to learn, for example: "What does an abortion cost? Not much -- a human life".

Or: "A right to choose to kill?"

A large police force had to protect the human rights defenders from the leftist rowdies.

These disturbed the prayers and songs of the human rights activists with their demonic choruses.

The police officials escorted the human rights activists in their prayer procession with two rows.

Two violent child haters were arrested by the police.

Man Sentenced to Ten Years of Prison for an Abortion

Editor: someone's going to suggest that the Doctor wasn't actually sentenced for murdering his child but for endangering the life of his illicit sex partner, presumably to keep the information from his wife and colleagues. So be it.

This in from another poster on another forum:
Actually, abortion is illegal in Germany, even if many people (including Germans) don't know this.
The German Constitutional Court has decided (in a "reverse" Roe vs. Wade ruling), that legal abortion is unconstitutional. Unfortunately, after that ruling, German politicians have invented a system of "crime without punishment", meaning that abortion is still illegal, but (under certain circumstances) not persecuted. In this case the abortion would have been punishable, because the conditions of non-persecution were not existing. However the court obviously decided to go for an attempted murder ruling.

Germany in 2007 a married German Doctor 41 wanted to abort his child with a another woman at home. He mixed blood thinner in her tea, in order to induce a premature birth. Because of nasal and bleeding gums the mother went into the hospital. There the doctors noticed the life threatening low blood pressure and managed to save the her but not her child. On Monday the Court of Coburg condemned the Doctor to ten years of prison and 20,000 Euros damages, for attempted murder. The condemned man has challenged the deed to the last and will appeal the case.

German Bishops Wallow in the Hysteria

Editor: There are far greater crimes than the very rare cases of sex abuse which have been manipulated by the enemies of the Church. Like howling with the enemies of the Church and helping them, for example, by capitulating to their false assertions.

Germany's Roman Catholic bishops kneel down, ask for forgiveness over clergy's abuse

By The Associated Press (CP) – 7 hours ago

BERLIN — Germany's Roman Catholic bishops say they are "deeply ashamed" by the abuse of youth by clergy men and the church's failure to hold the perpetrators to account.

The country's bishops kneeled down in a symbolic gesture Monday and asked for God's forgiveness at the beginning of their annual spring meeting in the western city of Paderborn.

The head of the German Bishops Conference Robert Zollitsch said in his prayer that men of the church have abused youth and damaged their lives.

Theology Professors Are Completely Irrelevant: Celibacy Memorandum

Manfred Lutz about the Theology-Memorandum: The great intellectual debate in German takes place without Theology professors in place.

Rome (kath.net) The famous psychiatrist and Catholic theologian Manfred Lutz rejected the suggestion in an interview with "Radio Vatican", that he had encouraged the authors of the controversial Theology Memorandum to leave the Church and become protestants. "That really didn't happen. What I -- psychologically actually -- found very interesting: I wrote an article for the Frankfurter Allgemeinen Zeitung in the beginning of February which was intentionally unpolemical in an admittedly polemical debate and finally made the impression, that really wasn't the case. The people understood even an unpolemical article in a polemical debate, polemically."

Lutz insisted during the interview that the Theological Memorandum is about power and powerlessness. "I believe that theology professors in Germany have a lot of power -- if they really are at once professors, they could actually do, what they want, and teach, what they want. They don't know anything else. On the other said there is the problem that these professors, that theology professors are not taken seriously an more. They are completely irrelevant. The great intellectual debate in Germany is taking place without theologians present. They are not being cited in the big papers and in talk shows either, the talk shows want Catholic positions and so they invite the Bishops."

For the theologians, it is certain that themes in the Church do not appeal to young people, but here we have an entire generation always bringing up the same concern. Lutz said of this: "I think this is the conservatism of the progressives in the Catholic Church". For the psychiatrists there are two conservative milieus in the Church. The one conserves that which they call "the Catholic". "And the other is always against, but always has proposals which the people well know they won't eke through. Then one can be hardened in
conservatively in a complaining ritual, and nothing changes."

For Lutz it is clear that everyone who has signed, actually knew that celibacy won't be overthrown by the debate. "And thus that we are now thoroughly angry about this, that which can't be overthrown, things aren't going to get better. Everyone knows that. One can hardly hardly exchange more arguments in the hope that the other side will take that as a real argument and not an attack. If they looked through the Memorandum once, psychologically: then the discussion would be worked out and pummeled into the Church, which isn't very fun, then to speak with such aggression." A dialog always begins on one side. Always begins with one speaking to another person, and the more meaningfully he does it, the more respectful he does it, the more the other will have the desire to answer. So begins the dialog", concluded Lutz with certainty.
