Brave Puerto Rican Bishop Fired by Arbitrary and Unjust Bergoglian Dictate

Bishop Daniel Fernández Torres, Puerto Rico's bravest bishop, was removed from office by Pope Francis as a "troublemaker".

(Rome) Bishop Daniel Fernández Torres of Arecibo, the only bishop in Puerto Rico who opposed vaccine apartheid, was retired by Pope Francis at the age of just 57.

Monsignor Daniel Fernández Torres was born in Chicago to a Puerto Rican family but grew up in Puerto Rico.  In 1995 he was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Arecibo.  He studied dogmatics at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome and then worked in his Caribbean home as a pastor and from 2000 as regent of the seminary of Arecibo.  In 2007 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him  Auxiliary Bishop of San Juan de Puerto Rico and, in 2010, at the age of 46, Bishop of Arecibo.

As such, he attracted attention in 2020 when he took on left-leaning US Territory Governor Pedro Pierluisi and urged him to stop the gender agenda being promoted by the Biden administration.

The second conflict with Pierluisi has followed since August 2021, when the governor of Puerto Rico imposed compulsory vaccination against Covid-19.  Bishop Fernández then made it clear that there would be no vaccination apartheid in the church areas in his diocese.  The bishop recognized the right of conscientious objection to compulsory vaccination and gave his priests and deacons permission to grant exemptions to Catholic parishioners.

The bishop was the first pastor to be confronted with compulsory vaccination and made it clear that in his diocese there would be no division of the faithful and no segregation, i.e. discrimination, of healthy people.

However, he was left alone with that.  The other five bishops of the Caribbean island shortly thereafter issued a decree with “pastoral guidelines” on behalf of the Puerto Rican bishops' conference, with which they instituted vaccination apartheid.  The unvaccinated may only take part in the liturgy in separately designated parts of the church.  The five bishops justified their decision with reference to "contagions and outbreaks,” although the SARS-CoV-2 virus koof or Covid-19 did not differ in any noticeable way from other seasonal flu waves.  Above all, they emphasized that the new guidelines should be issued in order to show “solidarity” with Pope Francis.  Francis had introduced compulsory vaccination in the Vatican and described "vaccination", which is in fact a gene therapy, as a "moral obligation".  The bishops did not say that they were actually kneeling before the Pierluisi government.  Priests and deacons who have not been able to present proof of vaccination by September 15 are no longer allowed to celebrate the holy liturgy in public.

Bishop Fernández refused to sign the guidelines.  Rather, he made it clear that he would not tolerate this segregation of believers in his diocese.  In doing so, he courageously stood alone against the Church's first apartheid regime of the 21st century.

Today, half a year after the beginning of the apartheid regime, Bishop Fernández was retired by Pope Francis, although the bishop of Arecibo is only 57 years old.  The background is quickly explained.  Bishop Fernández disrupted the "good relations" with the government and the consensus in the bishops' conference with his courageous stance on the Corona issue.

Other reasons are given behind closed doors and in some media in Puerto Rico as to why Bishop Fernández became a nuisance to his confreres.  He openly and bluntly addressed the problem of pederastic priests and publicly criticized them.  He also refused to use the believers' money to pay off the debts of the Archdiocese of San Juan.

In keeping with his nature, the deposed bishop was not silent about his removal.  He had a final press release published through the press office of his previous diocese, confirming the rumors that had been circulating before.  The bishop quotes from an unspecified document in which the reason for his dismissal was given:

"I have not been obedient to the Pope, nor have I been in sufficient fellowship with my brothers, the Bishops of Puerto Rico."

 Bishop Fernández writes:

“In response to what is happening, I feel blessed to suffer persecution and slander (cf. Mt 5:10-11) for proclaiming the truth about human dignity in the present circumstances where 'it is uncomfortable:  It is contrary to what we do...' (Wisdom 2:12).  Today I can hold my head high, and even though I'm imperfect and a sinner, I know I did the right thing, and that gives me great inner peace.  I am also comforted by the Hebrew meaning of the name Daniel that I received at my baptism: 'God is my judge'.

I am very sorry that in the Church, where so much is preached about mercy, in practice, some people do not have even the slightest sense of justice.  One day the Apostolic Delegate simply told me by word of mouth that Rome was asking me to resign.  A successor to the apostles is now replaced without proper canonical procedure for his removal.

I was informed that I had not committed a crime, but that I had allegedly 'not been obedient to the Pope and had insufficient fellowship with my fellow bishops in Puerto Rico'.  It was suggested to me that when I resign from the diocese I would remain available to the Church if I was needed in another position;  an offer that proves my innocence indeed.  However, I did not resign because I did not want to become an accomplice in a totally unjust process that I am reluctant to see in our church.”

As the Vatican Press Office announced, Pope Francis appointed Msgr. Álvaro Corrada del Río SJ, Bishop Emeritus of Mayagüez, Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Arecibo ad nutum Sanctae Sedis.

"My Body Belongs to Me" or "Your Body Belongs to Me" --- Superior of SSPX Unconvincing Opposition to Corona

Father Davide Pagliarani's warning about the Corona crisis, which is not convincing
.

 Thoughts by Giuseppe Nardi

(Menzingen) The Superior General of the Society of St. Pius X (FSSPX), Fr. Davide Pagliarani, spontaneously commented on December 11 at a conference in the USA at the request of participants "also on the subject of Covid-19 and vaccination".  On January 18th, the Society of Saint Pius X published his free speech in a German translation.  Excerpts had already become known and sparked polemics.  Father Pagliarani takes a more detailed and differentiated position than most bishops do.  In the German-speaking area, there is governmental servitude in this regard.  The bishops' conferences and their presidents sound like government mouthpieces.  But P. Pagliarani's "admonition" also calls for a few comments.  So he says:

"How long will the problem last?  Is this all complicated?  Yes!  Is this all a bit crazy?  Yes!  Is the stress that weighs on all of humanity understandable?  Yes!  Is it permissible to ask questions about all these problems?  Yes!  Is it legitimate to be against mandatory vaccinations?  Yes!  But …!"

The "but" is explained in the following sentence:

“But this major problem is linked to a medical issue.  That is the main reason why the Society does not speak directly on this issue.”

That is the crux of the matter.  The Corona problem that moves people, whether on one side or the other, is not a medical question, but a political one.  Governments have turned a medical issue into a political one.  The entire discussion, the multitude of problems, conflicts, fears, coercion are connected with this political interference.  That could not be said and seen through with certainty in the first few weeks of the ongoing Corona issue.  Some professionals like Prof. Bhakdi and Dr.  Wodarg did it back then and should be right with their assessment.  Since May 2020, however, it can be generally seen through if you want to see.  Since then, numbers have been on the table, and these facts have become more and more important.  This includes the ongoing cover-up and obfuscation by governments and their cronies, which is perhaps even more telling.

It is appropriate to stay out of the medical question, it belongs to the doctors, at least as far as it does not touch on moral questions.  But it's not about the medical question, it's about the political one.  If politics, if governments, had not interfered, Corona would have passed humanity long ago without attracting any attention.  "If there had been no PCR tests worldwide, I don't think anyone would have noticed," said Prof. Franz Allerberger, head of AGES, the Austrian Robert Koch Institute, in a video interview on June 19, 2021.  Allerberger described the effect of protective masks outside of hospitals and homes as not a medical but a political question.  It's all about this.  As of January 2020, Corona is primarily a psychological war, a war started and waged by someone.  In the meantime, those responsible cannot be fully named, but they can be named to a large extent.

Pagliarani's reference that one does not comment on the matter because it is a question of medicine must therefore come to nothing.  It is about the political question for which a medical question is used as an occasion or pretext.  Nobody expects an opinion on a medical question from bishops, communities or even the Society of Saint Pius X, but they do expect orientation on moral questions, questions of natural law and social teaching.  According to Prof. Allerberger, the Corona crisis, which was triggered or staged without any need, is shaking the entire social fabric, from the state down to the family.  A schism was created according to plan, the artificial genesis of which took place before everyone's eyes and which now runs through almost every community.  There has not been a more devastating situation since the end of the war.  And nothing in this spiral of decomposition has anything to do with the medical question, but everything has to do with the political question.

Why P. Pagliarani cites aspects of "globalism and conspiracy" as the reason why "the Society is holding back" remains incomprehensible on the basis of his further comments on this chapter.  Wouldn't it be more appropriate to take a stand and put the current events into the "big picture" in order to make the connections clear?  So he says:

"The main expression of globalism, namely the destruction of the natural moral law and order that the Church has preserved and protected, is the creation of a new 'world' with new 'laws', with a new authority.  With or without Covid, with or without vaccination.  This globalism didn't just start a year ago.  It's much older."

Doesn't it seem reasonable to assume that Covid and the "vaccination" are not outside of "this globalism", but rather are a genuine expression of it?  Instruments to realize exactly the goals outlined by P. Pagliarani against the natural, the divine order?

In the important chapter on sin, the Superior General, despite the resolution not to comment on a medical question, suddenly dares to go far ahead when he says: "Even traditionists and Catholics who are faithful to tradition are dying of Covid!" Of course, "also traditionalists and  traditional Catholics" must die.  No one should have doubted that.  However, the postulate with the exclamation mark indicates that P. Pagliarani seems to be convinced that the officially counted "corona deaths" actually died of Covid-19".  At least that's daring.  The diagnosis "Covid-19" is, and that too is initially not a question of medicine, but of what government policy wants.  Think of the phrase “deceased from or with” that was unknown until the Corona crisis;  one thinks of the factually exclusive corona diagnosis based on the PCR test, which cannot distinguish corona from influenza, which is why the officially stated numbers say nothing about how many corona intensive care patients are due to Covid-19 or for a completely different reason are in the intensive care unit;  think of the highly dubious way of counting the “corona deaths”.  These are all not medical, but politically desired decisions.

The statements of the Superior General in his last chapter “False Principles” are embarrassing.  Roughly speaking, Father Pagliarani says that because there are also “wrong” people, he calls “leftists” and “extreme leftists”, the Society of St. Pius X can not join a position.  What is the purpose of distancing?  Why so polemical?  The question can only be: Does someone say and do the right thing?  I saw Society members at a rally with their flags walking alongside Che Guevara apologists and Catholics with depictions of the Sacred Heart.  That was what happened on the train and offered the observer an unusually interesting picture.  The named may not otherwise have much in common, but on this issue they are united and walk side by side.  Good this way.

Pagliarani's last "reason" why the Society "does not speak directly on this subject" then becomes a real own goal.  Let's hear for ourselves:

"In one sentence: 'My body belongs to me!' I do what I want with my life.  That's why I decide for myself whether I want to be vaccinated or not.  We find the same slogans of the 1960s and 1970s - 'My belly belongs to me' - in a certain 'women's movement'.”

P. Pagliarani insinuates that the opponents of the Covid injection, which is ineffective against Corona but more deadly than the official figures for the Corona virus show, have the same spirit of the abortion advocates.  Isn't the opposite actually the case?  The pro-abortionists say “my belly is mine” when they really mean “your body is mine”, that of the unborn child they want to kill.  We are now experiencing the same mentality among vaccination fanatics and vaccination advocates.  They also say "Your body belongs to me" to the government, which wants to dispose of it.  A wrongly used slogan, as is done by the abortion lobby, is therefore wrong, neither per se nor in other situations.  In the specific case, the rejection of a fact-free, dangerous, only for BigPharma profitable corona vaccination obligation, the slogan "My body belongs to me" is correctly opposed to the mendacious postulate "Your body belongs to me".  This is what the Society of Saint Pius X might point out, along with the broader categorization that the body ultimately naturally belongs to God.  Personally, I can say that I was delighted when I was finally able to read the unspeakable abortion slogans at rallies against the Corona measures in a justifiable context.  Tactical cleverness can also be cited for the use of this slogan.

This last “reason” also makes Pagliaranis uncomfortable because he does not address the question of unethical Covid substances in his remarks.  The fact that the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, with the “Note” published on December 21, 2020, waved through the production of all Covid substances previously approved in the EU using aborted children does not change the question of conscience for the individual.  Leaving this unmentioned, as already done by the bishops' conferences and the Ecclesia Dei communities in the German-speaking world, makes the previous polemic even more dubious because of the identical slogans (but not content).  Comprehensive information is required to make a responsible decision in favor of a Covid injection.  In this regard, there is an almost unbelievable gap.  In the vaccination streets is not enlightened, but work on the assembly line.  Even the superior general does not try to close this gap.  Perception remains selective.

In this context, should Pagliarani not blame the multitude of broken promises made by the governments, the many lies they have told, the false figures they have presented, the revealingly one-sided decisions they have made, the hideous discrediting and hostilities,  which they have triggered or approved of, the many hardships into which they have thrown countless people, whether through irresponsible fear-mongering or through threats to their existence?

Finally, it should be remembered that remaining silent about an apparent wrong has morally relevant implications.  P. Pagliarini does not even dare to refuse vaccination.  Even the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith did that when Pope Francis did the opposite in the Vatican and gambled away another piece of his already tarnished credibility.  Silencing an injustice includes the failure of the Church hierarchy, which is plainly evident to all.  Where others do not want to raise their voice or believe that they cannot raise their voice, the Society of Saint Pius X would at least have to make it clear that the Church, with all recognition of the state and its authority, is not a bailiff of the government.  But the Superior General is also silent on this point.  Why?  Who, if not he, is free from the shackles of concordat and episcopal pressure to speak out?

The overall impression?  P. Pagliarani moves in a more differentiated way, but still on the line of the bishops' conferences.  That surprises and leaves a little perplexed.

The medical question seems to be pretend so as not to have to comment on the political one.

The current leaders, who are in office today and in Silicon Valley tomorrow, are treated with kid gloves as if they were a higher authority than the Church.  That sounded different from the mouths of representatives of the Society of Saint Pius X in the past.  Pagliarani also hints at it when he refers to currents and enemies that go back much further in history, but then retreats and, where it becomes concrete today, avoids it.

Killed and Maimed by the Jab

by Brian Shilhavy

Editor, Health Impact News

Joel Kallman, the 54-year-old Oracle APEX software developer who designed the CDC vaccine tracking system, is dead two months after the first experimental mRNA shot.

Jovita Moore, an Atlanta news anchor, developed two brain tumors 12 days after second experimental Pfizer mRNA injection.

Lisa Shaw, a 44-year-old BBC Radio voice, died in the hospital after suffering blood clots after receiving the AstraZeneca shot.

Lisa Stonehouse, a 52-year-old Canadian woman, developed blood clots in brain and was dead 12 days after the AstraZeneca shot.

Lynnae Erick, a 50-year-old Canadian woman is dead seven days after the experimental Pfizer mRNA injection.

Jennifer Gibson, a Canadian woman, develops Bell’s Palsy two weeks after the AstraZeneca shot.

You probably did not see these stories in your local news, or if you did, they probably conveniently failed to mention they received a COVID-19 injection prior to their death, so we bring their stories to the public in our continuing coverage of death and destruction following the COVID-19 bioweapon injections.

Cardinal Sarah Reassures TLM Community as Busybody Complains to Paris Archdiocese About Traditional Chapel's Scamdemic Procedures

Cardinal Robert Sarah encourages the priests arrested in Paris. The picture shows the cardinal in the church in March 2015 when he was talking about the new evangelization and the liturgy.

From a Catholic.

[Katholisches] Robert Cardinal Sarah assured Abbé Marc Guelfucci, his chaplain Abbé Gabriel Grodziski and the parish of Saint-Eugène-Sainte-Cécile in Paris of his support and wished the priests courage and trust in God. On Sunday, April 11th, Abbé Guelfucci read the letter to the congregation and conveyed the cardinal's blessing.

"I will kill the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered" (Mt 26:31).

What Jesus said to his disciples the evening before his death came to his mind spontaneously when he was reading the reports about this year's Easter Vigil in the congregation, writes Cardinal Sarah.

“I wish to express my support and condolences to you and Abbé Gabriel Grodziski in this test which meets you as pastor and pastor of souls, and I want to encourage you, the parishioners of Saint-Eugène-Sainte-Cécile, to pray deeply, especially during the Holy Mass."

Cardinal Sarah remembers with joy and gratitude of his successful visit in March 2015, during which he was received by a congregation whose piety touched him.

"I bless you all with all my heart and entrust you to Our Lady of Consolation and Saint Joseph, Protector of the whole Church."  --Robert Cardinal Sarah

The two Parisian priests of tradition had celebrated the Easter Vigil in the traditional Rite in their community and are now under investigation for endangering the lives of others and confronted by Archbishop Auppetit with a canonical  investigation.

The Mass was public and on broadcast on the YouTube, followed by the community. The whole thing only turned into a media scandal after a non-Catholic brother of one of the people baptized had turned to the press indignantly because the hygiene regulations had been disregarded in the Mass. Abbé Guelfucci has now made a clear statement at Sunday Mass on April 11th. He emphasizes that short fragments were deliberately selected from the four-hour video material, which mainly show the procession and the baptisms of adults, in order to give the impression that the hygiene regulations are being disregarded. It was also completely wrongly commented that the faces were dipped in the same water during the baptism without disinfection with prepared towels. Abbé Guelfucci speaks of "Slander and defamation campaign intended to harm the Catholic Church, the diocese and the community" .  He reminds that Catholics have implemented all hygiene measures in a particularly disciplined manner, even before the first lockdown in March 2020. At no time did the community become a source of infection. “We trust Christ and the Virgin Mary to make the truth visible."

Archbishop Aupetit has meanwhile written to the parish on April 10th. At his request, this letter was read out to the congregation. According to the Archbishop, the video material shows irresponsible violations of the hygiene regulations (especially distance rules and mask requirements), even if the comments are exaggerated in places. He calls for a full implementation of the hygiene rules so that he is not forced to close the church.

In view of this positioning and such a threatening tone, it is to be hoped that Archbishop Aupetit will not allow himself to be instrumentalized in a war of the republic against the Church and sacrifice the pastor of Saint-Eugène to appease the anti-church republic.

Mike Church Has Been Gone for Four Weeks -- Anyone Know Where He Is?

Edit: Mike Church was on here saying he was just fine, despite coughing and weezing quite a bit with a fever throughout the broadcast. He once produced a podcast two or three times a week, yet he hasn't broadcast in four weeks. Hope he's alright!

Never mind, he's right here at his own webpage. He must have been Shoahed at Youtube.

My Own Personal Experience Doesn't Justify the Destruction of Tens of Thousands of Businesses and People's Livlihoods -- Let Covid Run Its Course You Nancies!

Edit: bvs asked how I was doing. I hate confessional blogs where people talk about themselves. Maybe there's a good reason for writing such a blog, I don't know. It's just not me.  I'd rather spotlight people I love and respect, like E. Michael Jones or Roberto de Mattei (Who no doubt disagrees with me on Covid) In any event, my suffering through this disease should give me a little authority to speak about Covid and how the liberties of the West are being destroyed by efforts to respond to its mostly non-existent effects.

Saint Nicholas Punching Arius

How am I?  Horrible!  I'm very slowly and painfully pushing my lungs to expand so I can keep them from getting more pneumonia and spit out the old stuff.  Still on 0xygen.  My family doctor is concerned it's taking so long. But so what, folks?  I'm in middle age and while there are people who depend on me, if I die, would it be such a great loss?

In any case, obviously this has not changed my view on Covid.  Just because it's affected me personally in such a severe, potentially lethal and horrible way, it's no reason to suppose it's a great threat to most people. The real threat are the Communists exploiting it to control people's lives and destroy independent businesses and freedom of speech!

Deaths from people who have preexisting donditions or are very elderly,  do not justify putting millions of people out of work and destroying the livlihood of businesses while it enriches the usual suspects like Bezos, Soros, etc...

This disease has been awesome for me spiritually.  If I had died, I might have spent thousands of years in Purgatorio, but I'd have gotten to Heaven eventually, barring any last minute lapses that were part of my own wickedness anyway. Maybe I'd have become more powerful than leftist progressives could ever imagine?  I don't deserve salvation, but God's will, please don't let me die forever as I deserve, O' Lord.

Thank you God, for this trial and the opportunity to suffer and pray manfully through this pain!

Note: I'm also very grateful to God's creatures (like my cats) who gave me phone calls, consolations, prayers, had Masses said for me and offered up their own sufferings for my benefit.  It's truly humbling.
