Congress Pushing to Make Criticism of Jews Illegal

Edit: they’re taking a further step in making free speech illegal. Judaism and Jewish Culture are no longer topics of rational discourse, and Jew is not a term that can be approached without deep religious veneration. 

Imagine if Catholics were protected by such a law. I’d warrant people would become very sick of it.

Washington, D.C. - Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-09) issued the following statement after voting in favor of H. Con. Res. 57 – “Expressing the sense of Congress supporting the State of Israel.”  This resolution was presented after members of Congress, including Rep. Jayapal, engaged in hateful antisemitic speech and labelled an entire nation as “racist” because of her strong hatred and antipathy towards the Jewish people:

 

“It is a sad day in Congress when we must address the vile, anti-Semitic hatred expressed by certain members.   Israel is not a racist state and I strongly condemn the recent anti-Semitic and hateful remarks made by Representative Pramila Jayapal.  Israel, the nation, was created as a safe haven for the Jewish people immediately following the Holocaust.  Israel is the historic, and current, home of the Jewish people.  The nation of Israel has every right to protect its sovereignty, its borders, its people, and doing so does not make it “racist.”

 

There is zero room in our society for these vile, hateful and bigoted comments in the Halls of Congress.  As our strongest ally in the Middle East, I will never shy away from my long-standing support for Israel. The anti-Jewish and anti-Israel statements by members of Congress must be condemned,” stated Congressman Gosar.

[Frontline News] A Texas nurse who blamed COVID-19 on “Right-wing conspiracy news outlets,” the unvaccinated, and those who didn’t wear masks, died suddenly this month. No cause of death has been revealed. 

 Kathryn Wyant Huffman worked as a float nurse at Medical City Dallas Hospital and would rant on social media about those who were not compliant with mandates, while lauding those who took the injections as having “good sense and courage”. In November 2020, Huffman took to Facebook to shame people she saw not wearing masks, claiming they “watch a lot of Fox News”. The then-57-year-old praised those who complied with restrictions as “decent, caring neighbors and citizens”.

According to the Evening Standard newspaper, John confirmed that Spacey had stayed the night at their home in Windsor following the ball, and that he and Furnish had stored a red Mini car that the actor had bought at the event’s charity auction (a car he had told jurors was “the most expensive Mini Cooper ever”).

Peter Hitchens Comments on Archbishop’s Tinkering With Our Father

Edit: as I watched this, I couldn’t help but be a little cynical since it was Henry VIII who really kicked this sort of thing off in the first place. Surely, this ridiculous clown Archbishop is an evil clown, but he’s only following a precedent established long ago by other clowns and their apologists. This gender-inclusive specious line of argument has been sort of persisting for years with various adherents voicing their concerns, like among the Methodists and at your weirdo Newman Center, where the personal experience of abuse, particularly of women and effeminate males, is used as a pretext to remove gendered terms for God the Father. 

So why is it being dealt with now with such earnestness by official conservative spokespersons like Peter Hitchens as if this is some kind of new sensation that shakes the Church of England? It’s not like some Father Geraldine Granger in a colorful jumper hasn’t already had a go at making church more friendly and inclusive.  These media generated circuses really make you wonder, so programmatic and astroturfed.

It’s almost like these fuddy-duddies,

like the stodgy comic villains of a tedious Romcom, complaining about attempts to make the Church more relevant are even less relevant than the initiatives they mock.

There’s also the issue of Hitchen’s former Trotskyism and his heritage as a Jew. Some may remember that he has played a role in opposition to his more widely esteemed brother and war mongering Trotskyist, Christopher. What he may lack for in effective solutions to deal with these kinds of modernizing and very tired clichés, he more than makes up for it in terms of framing the discussion for the hoi polloi to be corralled and counted.

If he really wanted to do something, he’d become a Catholic and address the Jewish Question with fairness and honesty, but he gets extremely testy when these things are brought up.

Somali in Bavaria Sexually Assaults 10 Year Old Girl

Unbelievable: Mahdi A. is said to have chased the crying girl through the train, according to police circles.  He is also said to have pursued his child and aunt at the train station in Dorfen.  Both then sought shelter in a snack bar.

Background: The drunk man has been in Germany since November 2015.  An asylum procedure failed.  His tolerance expired in June and was then extended.  He lives in Germany with an “enforceable obligation to leave the country”.

A police officer quickly established that Mahdi A. is no stranger to the authorities.  The register contains entries for property, violent and narcotics offences.  The innkeeper later tells of the Somali's alleged threats: "I'll destroy you, I'll take you all apart."

 ►On Tuesday, reporters visited the Somali in his accommodation in Mühldorf in Upper Bavaria.  Mahdi said he's been in prison twice for drug-related offenses.  He doesn't have a job.  He gets unemployment benefits.

 The man denies the incidents in Dorfen: "I just tapped the child's knee to calm her down." He admits that he spat at the police officers during his preliminary arrest.  These had previously hurt his arm.

 Justice let him go – but now he is in custody

 At first no.  BECAUSE: The public prosecutor's office in Landshut let Mahdi A. run again!  This was confirmed by a spokesman on a BILD request for comment.  That meant first of all: no detention!  The public prosecutor: "The suspect, who has a Duldung (provisional residence) in Germany, is not yet in custody." The investigations continued, "under high pressure".

Then the turning point: The suspect was provisionally arrested by the police late Tuesday evening.  At the request of the Landshut public prosecutor's office, an arrest warrant was issued around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.  Reason: "Strong suspicion of sexual harassment and threats."

Now Mahdi A. is in jail.

The public prosecutor confirms: "He was brought to a correctional facility today after being presented to the district court in Landshut."  His apartment in Mühlbach was searched and two cell phones were confiscated.

The Federal Police are responsible for criminal offenses in train stations.  Chief trade unionist Heiko Teggatz to BILD: "I have absolutely no idea why detention was not ordered immediately, followed by detention pending deportation.  That was grossly negligent."

Interior expert Stefan Heck (CDU) to BILD: “Anyone who behaves like this has definitely not long to reside in our country.  Here, the only solution is detention and then quickly back to Somalia!”

The unknown perpetrators apparently tore them down, as the flag loops were still attached to the poles, according to the police.

The amount of property damage caused has not yet been determined.

The office of CSD Pirna e. V. was also targeted. Unknown individuals spat on the windows of the association on Langen Straße during the night of July 6th to 7th.

Currently, the State Security Service of the Dresden police is examining connections between the incidents. The investigations are still ongoing.

Militant BLM Activist in Philadelphia Mass Shooting

[New York Post] The rifle-wielding suspect who donned a bulletproof vest before allegedly shooting dead five men and injuring two children in Philadelphia has been identified as a Black Lives Matter supporter who shared gun-toting memes on social media. 

Kimbrady Carriker, 40, was nabbed shortly after the bloodshed in the city’s Kingsessing neighborhood Monday night, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported, citing sources.

On his Facebook page, Carriker posted two pictures of himself wearing a bra, a women’s top and earrings with his hair braided long in March, three months before the alleged shooting.

June 23 saw Pope Francis welcomed around 200 artists from around the world, to mark the 50th anniversary of the inauguration of the Vatican Museums’ collection of modern and contemporary art. ++Gänswein Removed From All Vatican Posts

Archbishop Georg Gänswein in an audience with Pope Francis on January 9, 2023. It was the last audience for the German prelate, and there will be no farewell celebration either.  Before July 1, Gänswein has to leave the Vatican without an office or assignment.

(Rome) Archbishop Georg Gänswein, officially still Prefect of the Papal Household and former private secretary of Benedict XVI, had been removed from all Vatican posts, as reported by the traditional blog Messa in Latino, citing a "cardinal source".

Pope Benedict XVI, shortly before resigning from office, appointed Msgr. Gänswein as Titular Archbishop of Urbisaglia and Prefect of the Papal Household in 2012.  Even after the German Pope withdrew to the Mater Ecclesiae Monastery in the Vatican Gardens, Gänswein accompanied him as private secretary.

It was an open secret in the Vatican that Francis only left him in office him out of consideration for Benedict XVI.  Gänswein's dismissal would be viewed by many Catholics as an affront to Benedict XVI.  Francis was not interested in alienating the faithful any more than they already did over a personal issue.

At the beginning of 2020, when the post-synodal exhortation on the Amazon Synod was to be used to lay hands on the sacrament of Holy Orders, Francis shied away at the last moment when Cardinal Robert Sarah, together with Benedict XVI.  presented a passionate plea for priestly celibacy in book form.  Francis raged unmistakably because of the thwarted plans, as reported by informed circles.  According to the motto "If you can't beat the master, beat his servant", Gänswein drew all of the Bergoglian lightning bolts.  At the same time, Francis suspended Benedict's private secretary from his official post as prefect of the papal household.

As Msgr. Gänswein writes in his memoirs published earlier this year.  It has remained so to this day.  Gänswein continued to receive his pay for the post, but no longer had a job.

On January 9th, four days after the funeral of Benedict XVI, Francis called Gänswein.  Then it was said presumably that the encounter was about Gänswein's future.  Several weeks later, rumors circulated that he was being transferred to a Central American country as apostolic nuncio.  The statement never had any basis, but it confirmed that Francis had told the German prelate that he no longer had any need for him now that Benedict was dead.

The day before the last audience for Monsignor Gänswein, on January 8th, at the Angelus in St. Peter's Square, Francis had said:

 "Let's ask ourselves: am I a person who divides or a person who shares?"

as Msgr. Gänswein writes in his memoirs published earlier this year.  It has remained so to this day.  Gänswein continued to receive his pay for the post, but no longer had a job.

The statement was obviously not meant to be self-critical, but rather rhetorical.

In the meantime, the rumor had spread, much more plausibly, that Gänswein had to return to his seething homeland without an office or assignment.  He would not be the first dignitary for whom Francis no longer has a need.  Interestingly, it hits a striking number of Germans, i.e. churchmen of that nation, whose highest exponents, secular and ecclesiastical, rehearse the rebellion against the divine order, especially sub et cum Francis.

Benedict XVI  died on December 31, 2022. Shortly thereafter, Francis gave Gänswein six months to pack his bags as mentioned at the audience.  The cessation of salary payments fits in with this.  In addition, according to Messa in Latino, Gänswein was ordered to vacate his apartment in the Vatican, which he had paid for with his own funds to renovate.  A subsequent tenant from Bergoglia will be happy about it.  The office of a prefect of the papal house should not be filled under Francis anyway.  As it was said some time ago in the papal circle, it works without it, as has been shown since Gänswein's suspension more than three years ago.

Official confirmation of the impeachment and Gänswein's removal from the Vatican, decisions that only Francis himself can make, is not yet available.

 [Update: June 15, 2023] No sooner said than done: With today's daily bulletin, the Vatican press office announced that Archbishop Gänswein had already lost his position as head of the Prefecture of the Papal House on February 28th and, as was recently leaked,  sent back to his home diocese by Pope Francis.  Msgr. Gänswein has to leave the Vatican on July 1st.

Poland’s Last Male Hermit Dies

[Notes From Poland] A Polish monk who spent the last 23 years of his life living in seclusion and was the last man in Poland to be officially recognised as a hermit by the Catholic Church has died.

Elizeusz Janikowski had lived a solitary life at a hermitage (pictured above) without running water or electricity atop Cierniak Hill in the Kłodzko Valley in southwestern Poland.

He passed away on Saturday morning at the age of 69 after a long illness, confirmed the parish of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Czerwona Woda.

Fake Eucharistic Miracle in Connecticut

Another sign that there’s likely nothing miraculous going on at these “Masses”, besides the fact that a Eucharistic Monster hands out sacrilegious Communion in the hand, is that the tabernacle has no veil.

Presybyter: “…Sometimes it comes in this weird way…” After saying how it was “pretty cool”, a few laity scattered  in the church gave themselves some half-hearted applause. How lugubrious!

The parish is Saint Maximilian Kolbe and was the last parish attended by the founder of Knights of Columbus. 

It looks fairly conservative. Surely, most of the laity who attend there believe in the Dogma of real presence of Christ in Holy Communion. I’m sure in most liberal parishes, the “faithful” would scoff at this as much as I am but for different reasons. 

Can you imagine a more humdrum and almost profane way God could manifest Himself? It’s not cool at all.

What’s even weirder, is that the pastor allegedly couldn’t give Holy Communion because his thumb was bandaged.

The Pastor is Rev. Joseph Crowley of the St Maximilian Kolbe Parish at St Thomas Catholic church in Thomaston, CT. This parish was previously known as St Thomas Parish until a merger and was the last parish served by Blessed Michael McGivney, founder of the Knights of Columbus.

[Catholic Snooze Agency] A controversial art display at a Manhattan Catholic church titled “God is Trans: A Queer Spiritual Journey” is undergoing a name and description change, but has not been removed as was previously reported.

News of the exhibit at the Church of St. Paul the Apostle in Manhattan was originally reported by the New York Post on May 7, causing a firestorm online with many calling the artwork “blasphemous.”

Two years ago, I wrote of the then threatened legislation: Unless constitutionally overturned, the ‘hate speech laws’ . . . will turn Ireland into a two-tier society of adult-children who cannot be looked crooked at and will have no responsibility for anything, and adults who will require to tiptoe around the adult-children for fear of offending them, to be held responsible for every conceivable remotely slighting meaning of their words or actions. The Bill, therefore, if made into law, will achieve all the things the authorities currently claim are resulting from our ‘racist’ society. It will divide the ‘community’; it will give rise, in the absence of the capacity for verbal exchanges, to violent interaction; it will turn Ireland into a profoundly racist society. There are those who say that this is the intention behind it; that, as a Cultural Marxist instrument, it is designed to foment division and chaos, leading eventually to civil war. If so, it will in time be a resounding success.  In recent weeks, as the Bill made its way — with minimal resistance — though the Irish parliament, I have been working in common with other Irish writers and commentators to alert and inform the outside world of what is happening in our country, and to warn them that it is soon to happen to their countries too. Edit: I remember for years this blog called "Dawn Patrol" in the aughts by an evangelical convert who then became a "conservative" Catholic convert.

Like others of her ilk, she likes to act as a networker and gatekeeper to offer criticism to Catholics who don’t meet proper Jewish standards. Apparently, Worst Things doesn’t meet with her approval any more.

At some point these conversos get mouthy about their true agenda after a few years when they’ve gained a following and some good will.  There are quite a few of them.
