Masonic Grandmaster Says Pope is “Prototype of Enlightened Despot of the World”

Freemasonry, the mafia and Pope Francis as a prototype of the "enlightened despot" who was supposed to rule the "global society" because democracy was "not suitable".

(Rome) What does a Grand Master of Freemasonry say about Pope Francis? A few days ago, the official website of the Grand Lodge of Italy (GLRI) published some Thoughts by Grandmaster Fabio Venzi. Even more enlightening seem to be words of his predecessor in the office of grandmaster.

The main concern of Grand Master Venzi is to correct on 28 pages "enormous inaccuracies, contradictions and misstatements" in the recent report of the Anti-Mafia Committee of Inquiry of the Italian Parliament. The Parliamentary Committee of Inquiry had submitted it on 21 December 2017.

Rosy Bindi as Chairwoman of the Anti-Mafia Committee of Inquiry of the Italian Parliament

Rosy Bindi as Chairwoman of the Anti-Mafia Committee of Inquiry of the Italian Parliament
The committee, which was in office until the parliamentary elections last March, was chaired by former Christian Democrat politician and Minister of Health, Rosy Bindi.

In the Bindi report, among other things, is the revelation of the infiltration of some Masonic organizations by the mafia. On page 155 there is a brief paragraph on the incompatibility of the Catholic Church and Freemasonry, without giving the reasons for this incompatibility. It wasn’t the allegations of infiltration by the mafia, but this paragraph of eleven lines, that was addressed by Grand Master Vanzi. "This is undoubtedly the most troubling part" of the report (page 2).

In his reply, the Grand Master claims a perfect compatibility between Church and lodge. Freemasonry is not plotting, the anti-masonry critics are absurd and slanderous in their statements (p.2ff) and probably suffer from a "dysphoria of personality" (p.26).

Grandmaster Creates Confusion

Grandmaster Fabio Venzi

Venzi, a sociologist, tries to confuse the average reader himself in apparent trivialities. So he writes:

"As I have already suggested, we know that hostility to Masonry was born before Freemasonry" (p. 25f).

In his latest book "The Last Heresy" (L'ultima eresia) he says:

"Hostility to Freemasonry goes with Freemasonry" (p. 11).

At his hearing before the Parliamentary Committee of Inquiry on 24 January 2017, he stated (see Stenographic Minutes of the Committee of Inquiry):

"Freemasonry was created in 1717. The first anti-Masonite document dates from 1652."

And further:

"The problems of free masonry are problems that arise along with Freemasonry.”
Not "Satanic", just a Luciferian component

"Lucifer" by Franz von Stuck (1890)

So what !? There is considerable confusion in the statements of the Grand Master. When was the hostility to Freemasonry really born? Even he doesn't seem to be able to believe that it could have existed even before the founding of the Masons. The statements of the Grand Master, however, help to better understand the incompatibility between Church and lodge. In his remarks, the Grand Master clearly shows that Freemasonry is a "mystery school" with an "initiation rite", "one of the many esoteric movements" (p. 4).

The Grand master, however, resolutely defends himself against the assertion of a "'Satanic' component of Freemasonry" (p. 5). On the other hand, he does not reject an initiatory, esoteric, gnostic and Luciferian component. The title page of his already mentioned, most recent book "The Last Heresy" is at least adorned with the picture of the painting "Lucifer" by the German painter Franz von Stuck (1890).

Conspiracy against the church? "Ridiculous…"

Freemasonry has conspired against the Church?

Impossible, ridiculous, absurd, says Grand Master Venzi. He also describes it as "ridiculous" that he is supposed to have "important, clerical allies" and "contacts with high-ranking representatives in the Vatican" (page 3f). In the book "Masonic Vatican. Lodges, money and occult power: The secret side of the Church of Pope Francis" (Vaticano Massone), published by the Vaticanist Giacomo Galeazzi in 2013 with his colleague Ferruccio Pinotti, sounds quite different. The two journalists also spoke with Grand Master Venzi.

Masonic Vatican (2013)

He "revealed to us that in his obedience, the only one recognized by the Grand Lodge of England, there are many priests. Venzi is in a sober and discreet way to begin a dialogue with representatives of the Vatican "(p. 54).

Galeazzi and Pinotti wrote:

"It is suggested by many that behind the recent and revolutionary events in the Vatican, especially the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI, is the hand of the lodges. In the corridors of the Sacri Palazzi it is whispered that even the election of the new Pope is their work. After a pontificate of closure like that of Ratzinger, it is probable that many among the lodge brothers hope, with the help of the Jesuit Bergoglio, to re-establish the old sympathies between the Society of Jesus and the Freemasons "(see also The Jesuit on the Pope's throne).
"Do you know the 'Santa'?"

Venzi denies in his "Thoughts" that the Masonic rituals are secret because "they are easy to find on numerous websites" (p. 13). However, he does not name such a website that could serve as a reliable source. If the rituals of Freemasonry, its obedience or any other obedience are not secret, then why not publish them on the official site of the Grand Lodge?

"The Last Heresy" by Grandmaster Fabio Venzi (2017)

Rather, the Grand Master blames the chairman of the parliamentary committee of inquiry Bindi for asking him a "provocative" question at the hearing (p. 23). In fact, the question to the Grand Master was directly related to the mission of the Anti-Mafia Committee:

"Do you know the 'Santa', the leader of the` Ndrangheta, who smuggle their men into the Masonic lodges? "1)

"Freemasonry can survive in the underground"

Grand Master Venzi is astonished that the Bindi report mentions a possible "dissolution of the societies" (p. 25) by the state.

Cryptically, the Grand Master indicates that the Masons are capable of working in the underground in such a case.

He says:

"Even if Italy forbade Freemasonry, it would still exist abroad, which could infiltrate it and rebuild it in Italy" (p. 25).
In other words, the Grand Master indicates that a state ban can not shake a secret society with so much experience.

The Bindi report also mentions Pope Francis, who in 2017 refused accreditation to the Holy See for a designated ambassador because of his membership in the lodge. Apparently, the Grand Master is concerned that the Italian State could follow suit and remove the Freemasons from its diplomatic service among its ambassadors. But this danger does not seem to exist, for Bindi emphasized in her report that the Anti-Mafia Committee of Inquiry had "nothing to do with the phenomenon of Freemasonry itself", not even with Italian Freemasonry as a whole, but only with four obediences including the Grand Lodge (p. 91f).

The Grand Master does not have to worry. The Italian state will not ban Freemasonry because every government would fear a massive national and international reaction from Freemasonry. In view of the Grandmaster's suggestion of contacts with high-ranking Church representatives, it would not be excluded that even there someone could tune into the choir in defense of the lodge brothers.

Ex-grandmaster Di Bernardo

Ex-grandmaster Di Bernardo

Venzi also criticizes his predecessor, Grand Master Giuliano Di Bernardo (p. 24). Di Bernardo was Grand Master of the Grand Orient of Italy (1990-1993). As the Italian party system of the post-war period imploded under corruption charges (Christian Democracy, Socialist Party) and the collapse of the Eastern Bloc (Communist Party), and the Great Orient and its networking came into the spotlight, Di Bernardo sought safety, resigned and founded the Grand Lodge of Italy, whose grandmaster he became. The Grand Lodge was, in contrast to the Great Orient, recognized by the Grand Lodge of England. It was Di Bernardo who in 1999 brought the Mason Venzi into the Grand Lodge and presented him as his successor. Since 2001 Venzi is Grandmaster.

In a radio interview for Border Nights, Di Bernardo said last April:

"The Grand Lodge of Italy, according to the report of the anti-mafia commission on the Great Orient, is most contaminated by infiltrations of the mafia and the 'Ndrangheta" (Min. 31: 50-32: 13) .2).
Di Bernardo added:

"The Grand Lodge of Italy, which was the showpiece of Italian and English Freemasonry, was reduced to rubble by Fabio Venzi. I wonder how the Grand Lodge of England can continue to recognize her as the only Masonic obedience on Italian soil. Why does not Venzi come back? If Venzi leaves, perhaps someone else could return a minimum of dignity to what I call my Masonic creation "(Min 33: 23-34: 20).

An "enlightened despot" is supposed to rule the world

Far more interesting than these internal-lodge animosities is another statement by Di Bernardo, who was, after all, the grand master of Italy's two biggest obediences and internationally well-connected. Di Bernardo is convinced that "global society" can not be governed democratically, but only through "a community of wise men who embody the One, the enlightened tyrant" (Min. 40: 00-40: 47).

Pope Francis with Cardinal Secretary of State Parolin

But was it not Freemasonry, which in the 18th.-- 20th Centuries fought with particular determination against the ancien regime and against the monarchies (except the English) and for democracy? Did democracy serve only as an intermediate step to get rid of the old order?

In an interview with the daily Libero on 22 February 2016, the former Grand Master praised Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin, the Vatican diplomat whom Pope Francis sent to the Vatican Secretariat of State in the Summer of 2013. Parolin attended an annnual convention of the Bilderbergers at the beginning of June as the first Secretary of State with the consent of Pope Francis.

And what does a Grand Master praise a Cardinal Secretary of State for? Because Parolin, according to Di Bernardo, has "no negative and hostile attitude towards the freemasonry and the esoteric." This then resulted in the following question and answer in the Libero interview:

Libero: What is your prototype of an enlightened tyrant?

Di Bernardo: If I really should name one, I would say: Pope Francis.

1. `Ndrangheta is called the Calabrian mafia, which consists of different clans (` Ndrine), which territorially divide Calabria, Italy and the foreign countries. The structure of ` Ndrangheta is very similar to Freemasonry. The membership is acquired through an initiation rite. At the top stands the 'Santa ', in which the memberships are again only possible under certain, already passed stages and according to hierarchical regulations. Similarly, there are degrees and special lodges in the lodges. The ' Santisti ', members of the ' Santa ', ritually call three "patron saints": Giuseppe Garibaldi, Giuseppe Mazzini and Alfonso La Marmora. All three were high-grade freemasons, Garibaldi even Grand Master of the Great Orient of Italy.
Second Abroad, every form of organized crime is often mistakenly called a mafia . In reality, only the Sicilian is called that. That of Naples and Campania is the Camorra , that of Calabria the ' Ndrangheta , that of Apulia the Sacra Corona Unita

Italian Family Minister: “The Family is Under Attack. They Want to Dominate Us and Cancel Our People”

Edit; we were sent this link by a twitter follower. Here is a google translate with some editing. We don’t think that Corriere Della Sera is too happy with this heroic Catholic’s point of view.

"The natural family is under attack. They want to dominate us and cancel our people." The new minister for the Family and Disability, Lorenzo Fontana declared this in 2016, as stated on his website.

[Corriere Della Sera] At the conference of the Pro Vita Onlus association held in Verona, he explained that "on the one hand the weakening of the family and the fight for gay marriage and the teaching of gender theory in schools, on the other the mass immigration that we undergo and the simultaneous emigration of our young people abroad. These are all related and interdependent issues, because these factors aim to erase our community and our traditions. The risk is the cancellation of our people.” The example to follow is Russia: "If thirty years ago Russia, under the Communist, materialistic and internationalist yoke, was the farthest imaginable from the ideas of identity and defense of the family and tradition, but today it is the model for those who believe in an identity model of society.”

The 38-year-old minister of the new government of the League and Movement 5 Stars, former vice-secretary of the Northern League who describes himself as "Veronese and Catholic" on Twitter, in March 2017 defined "the order of the Court of Appeal of Trento on double paternity (a law which recognizes that a child can have two fathers), a defeat for society ».

At the end of May he participated in the March for the Life of Rome to support the abrogation of the law 194 on abortion with the cry of "abortion is the leading cause of femicide in the world".

A graduate in Political Science, he particularly cares about the demographic theme: "Politics must take care of the family, we can not waste any more time. Children are the investment of the future. Every year it is as if we lost a city the size of Padua, the demographic decline is comparable to that caused between 1918 and 1920 by Spanish fever,” he said in an interview. In January, again on the same subject, the former prime minister, Paolo Gentiloni, commented: "For the outgoing Council President, the aging Europe needs migrants; for us, aging Europe needs to generate new children".

Victory of Euroskeptic Parties in Italy a Defeat for Santa Marta

(Rome) The Vatican media are undergoing a massive transformation. In June 2015, Pope Francis set up the Secretariat of Communications, a central communications ministry that brought together all the Vatican media under one central management. The transformation is also reflected in political valuations, also with regard to the struggles for the formation of a government overshadowing everything on the Apennine peninsula.

On October 1, 2016, the new dicastery became fully active when its statutes came into force. Francis appointed priest and communications expert Dario Edoardo Viganò as prefect. In September 2017, a cooperation agreement was concluded with the Jesuit Order, which gave the Pope's Order - invisible to the outside - a not insignificant position.

However, Prefect Viganò already crashed last March with the manipulative handling of a letter from Benedict XVI. which Viganò published at the expense of Benedict as a special flattery to honor the fifth anniversary of the election of Pope Francis, but ended in his forced resignation instead.

It is the case that the criticism falls both upon Viganò and Pope Francis, which the international media directed at Viganòs' journalistic professional ethics and d his demanded his resignation, which Francis makes clear to the present day by two gestures. Viganò had to go as prefect, but was promptly equipped by Francis with a consultancy, and just for the Communications Secretariat. A minister who has to resign because of wrongdoing, but immediately becomes the chief adviser again for the same ministry, is a rather unorthodox method.

Francis went even further, and he hasn't appointed a successor to Viganò to this day. The place of the prefect is vacant. This brings Francis to Viganò, manipulation at the expense of Benedict XVI. or not, an almost unqualified expression of his unbroken esteem. Ultimately, Viganò is still the actual boss in the communications secretariat, despite being in the background. It is also confirmed by this example that Francis does not let go of people in whom he places his trust, but bolsters them.

The Giro d'Italia and the subtle political message

So the current topic.

Premature cancellation of Giro d'Italia
The Osservatore Romano was the last medium that was transferred to the new ministry. Strangely enough, the pope's daily newspaper yesterday reported on the Giro d'Italia , the world's most famous cycling race after the Tour de France.

The internationally watched and popular stage race ended with the last stage in Rome, which was stopped after one third and the winner was called prematurely without completing the race. Reason was according to the race management the bad road conditions in the Italian capital.

So far so harmless, but the Osservatore Romano usually does not report on such sophisticated events. A look at Italy's leading secular media provides the explanation. The premature end of the Giro d'Italia became an indictment of the Roman city government, which has been run since June 2016 by the Movimento Cinque Stelle. Since then, the mayor has been the lawyer Virginia Raggi. In concrete terms, the political movement founded by political comedian Beppe Grillo was portrayed as incompetent in a supposedly unpolitical context.

In parallel to the Giro deal, one of the most dramatic political tug-of-wars in recent Italian history took place in Rome. The Five-Star Movement has been by far the country's largest party since last March's parliamentary elections, claiming the formation of a government. However, this is decidedly rejected by the ruling left-wing Democrats (PD), to whom President Sergio Mattarella belongs, as well as by EU leaders in Brussels.

President undermines government formation

For 72 days, Mattarella delayed the task of forming a government of the strongest party. It was only on May 20 that the five-star movement and Lega appointed the nominee professor of law and non-partisan Giuseppe Conte, after it had long been established that the two parties had agreed on the joint formation of government and have an absolute majority in both houses of parliament.

As the parliamentary majority seeks a course change in the EU and on immigration - the recovery of state sovereignty, an end to mass immigration, the exit from the euro, the return to the lira, and thus self-responsible monetary and economic policies, and the dismantling of the EU to one common economic space, but without a common currency and without political centralism in Brussels - let Mattarella burst the formation of a government. The dispute erupted around the financier and economist Paolo Savona, who was to become economics minister. Obviously, nobody in Italy can become a minister anymore, whom Brussels does not want. The theoretical government majority therefore speaks of a grave contempt for the will of the voters, in that the outgoing left-wing Democrats (with only no more than 18 percent of the vote) and the EU, despite parliamentary elections in Italy, want to impose on them a pleasant government.

This leaves new elections in the air with an uncertain outcome. Vote until the result fits? It seems unlikely, however, that the left can recover. The center-right parties, especially Silvio Berlusconi's Forza Italia, hope to win in new elections, the three percent who lack the legal alliance with Lega since the parliamentary elections to form a government without Five-Star Movement.

Five-Stars and Lega: currently 94 percent of constituencies available

If they collaborate, Five-Star and Lega could win 94 percent of the constituencies.
But it could also be that the Italians have taken pleasure in a completely new way and confirm or even strengthen the majority of the Five-Star Movement and Lega . According to a recent survey by the renowned left-wing Istituto Cattaneo, the two parties could even win 94 percent of all electoral districts in a joint campaign. Then even President Mattarella could no longer prevent the formation of a government.

Until then, however, much can still happen, including an intervention by the "deep state", as the more recent Italian past teaches. Without Great Britain and Italy, only the Berlin-Paris axis would remain of the EU big ones.

The indictment of the street conditions in Rome is easily recognized in the EU-friendly, large media of the country as part of the psychological warfare against an unwanted formation of government by Five-Star Movement and Lega . Until June 2016, Rome was ruled for 25 years from the left, and five years (2008-2013) from the right.

Pope Francis, the Left Democrats and the EU

It is noteworthy that the Osservatore Romano joined in this chorus, albeit in a more restrained tone. It is no secret that the Neanderthal Pact, as the Five-Star Movement / Lega alliance is disparaged by its opponents, is rejected by Santa Marta. The dislike of the current leadership in the Vatican is earned especially by Lega. The recommendation of the Italian bishops, which they gave before the parliamentary elections at the direction of the Vatican, was directed precisely against the two victorious parties. The magic word of criticism was "populism." Voters were not told who to vote for but who they should not vote for: no "populist parties." The accusation of populism applies to the opponents of a multicultural and multi-religious reconstruction of Europe through the reduction of sovereignty and mass immigration. Similar episcopal announcements were made before the federal elections in September 2017 in Germany as well.

Above all, the Lega loudly contradicts Pope Francis' demand for unlimited immigration. This is a request to which the former Italian Senate President and personal friend of Benedict XVI, Marcello Pera found harsh words for in the summer of 2017. Francis's most closely related bishops have repeatedly lobbied with the Lega in the recent past. Where the Lega resisted the suppression of Christian symbols and customs in public, were not only opoposed by representatives of the political left, but, surprisingly, church representatives, too. Since the contradiction of Cardinal Marx against the Bavarian cross-decree, shows a comparable clerical schizophrenia which is also known in German lands.

Not to forget: The result of the parliamentary elections can also be read as a clear electoral defeat for Pope Francis, who of course did not run for office himself. So it was interpreted by attentive political observers as well. It is well known, however, that the cards are not reshuffled until after election night, and there the Vatican does not seem to be inactive in order to iron out the Pope's electoral defeat.

Behind the scenes, in the current struggle for the formation of governments in Italy, economic issues, especially in the context of the EU and the euro, play an even more central role than mass immigration. Finally, the parliamentary majority challenges the Treaty of Amsterdam, which created the EU. Both topics, however, are inextricably linked in the current orientation of Brussels. The Italian parties know that, and Italian voters seem to have understood that too - and chose the Five-Star Movement and the Lega.

University of Parma Opens Prayer Room and "Multiconfessional 'Space of Silence'"

(Rome) The University of Parma has decided to set up a prayer room for Muslims on the university campus.
The prayer room will be located right next to the Catholic chapel. To this end, the Library Library of the Institute of History has been reorganized. The premises have already been allocated to the Islamic Student Union, which had previously submitted a corresponding application.
The Senate of the university imposed some restrictions. No handouts and posters, nor discussions or other rallies may be held. Although food and drink may be taken in  the future prayer room, the shoes must be taken off and placed in front of it. The Senate, which had to approve the decision of the board of directors, hopes thereby to prevent Islamic or other political agitation by Muslim students at the university.
At the same time, the university's administrative board, which issued the permit, decided to adopt another "multicultural" project: the creation of a "multicultural space of silence".

New Utopian Novel in Italian: Fate of the Russian Pope

The Russian Pope
Edit: there's no telling how the title will be translated if it makes it into English.

What if the next Pope were Russian? Would the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary be made possible by the Mother of God in Fatima 100 years ago as an essential step on the road to world peace?

A utopian novel

In his novel The Fate of the Russian Pope published last year , the author, Mauro Mazza, assumes the optimistic acceptance of a conclave in 2018. In this concave, the author, the archbishop of Saint Petersburg is elected to the pope completely unexpectedly, and is assigned the name Methodius.
To avoid a misunderstanding, this is not the bishop of the diocese of Saint Petersburg in the USA, which is clearly geographically assignable in its Latin name Sancti Petri in Florida. This is actually the city founded by Tsar Peter the Great in Swedish Ingria in the Bay of Kronstadt, where the Neva River flows into the Gulf of Finland. This Saint Petersburg was the capital of Russia from 1710-1918 and today is the second largest city in the country, with five million inhabitants.
The novel is, of course, fiction, for an archbishopric of St. Petersburg of the Catholic Church does not exist and has never existed. Since 2013 there is a Russian Orthodox Archdiocese of this name. The city itself has been the see of a Russian Orthodox Bishop since 1742.

The author

The author's name is no pseudonym. Mauro Mazza, born in 1955, is one of Italy's best-known journalists. After the passing university entrance examination in the "hot" seventies, he made his first journalistic forays with the daily newspaper Secolo d'Italia, the party newspaper of the then Neo-Fascist party MSI. He remained connected to the party, which in the early nineties, after the collapse of the Communist Eastern bloc, went through a transformation to the bourgeois-conservative party.

Mauro Mazza

The way to the professional journalist opened him the early change to the news agency AdnKronos. In 1990 he became a news editor for the RAI Public Service, 1998 Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the RAI 1 newsreader, 2002 editor-in-chief of the RAI 2 editorial. In 2008, Mazza finally became director of RAI 1. With the return of a Leftist government, he was pushed off to be the director of RAI Sport. In the same year he published his first novel. Since 2015 he has been a member of RAI Vatican's editorship, which is the subject of his latest novel.

The conclave

118 Cardinals gathered in the Sistine Chapel after the death of the Pope to elect a successor. But days pass by, days pass, and black smoke is rising. After three weeks of stagnation, the quarreling Cardinals agreed on a quite unusual decision. They do not elect a cardinal to the pope, but Nikolai Sofanov, the Archbishop of Saint Petersburg.
The decision is most striking: a Pope from Orthodox Russia and a friend of Russia's President Vladimir Putin.
The acting characters in the novel are, in part, the real (Patriarch Cyril, Putin, Gorbachev, Hans Küng), partly inventions of the author.

The Pope, who isn't liked

Church flag (Middle Ages)

In contrast to his predecessor, the new pope does not like the powerful and freemasonry. He is displeasing to them even more because he speaks specifically of the defense of faith rather than of ecology and, above all, of that sentimentality which, "through hugs and skits, between Buona Domenica ( Beautiful Sunday) and "Buon Pranzo" (To your health) is the difference between the pope and the faithful. "Pope Wojtyla" always managed to preserve his charism, which demanded all respect and admiration: cardinals, bishops, priests and laity." (p. 40).
With his daily sermons, Pope Methodius combats modernism, the laicistic and Protestant aberrations and the dictatorship of relativism:
"The pope daily demolishes many of the so-called inviolable assumptions of prevailing thought. He makes it easy. He finds greater and greater approval among the people, but he also attracts an ever-widening dislike" (145).
The freemasons unchain the media against him. A federal daily newspaper, which is close to certain progressive circles in the Vatican, accuses him of concentrating power in his hands and talking too much of faith:
"He is trying to revive the sacredness of past times. In his sermons he contradicts secular (laicistic) values and the rights obtained. And as if that were not enough, he stressed traditional reservations about democracy. Very soon his course of action will turn out to be destabilizing."(147).
The fight against globalization, the gender dictatorship, the surrender against Islamism and the compulsion to ecologism "as a new religion, in which man is no longer the head of the pyramid of creation, but a living person of the planet with the same rights of other 'animals' (108).

World Government and World Religions

Determined to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and restore the unity of the East and Western Churches, Methodius meets with Putin, who complains to the Pope:
"The British are doing what the Americans order. The Germans and the Italians are irresolute and fickle "(134).
The Americans, however, more or less slavishly follow the decisions of the "fraternity," a Masonic organization whose sole purpose is clearly defined:
"The world government, the united world currency (called Bancor), and the world unity religion that unites and overcomes all religions" (120).
Among the Cardinals, who were led by the "Brotherhood," including the Predecessor of Methodius, there are three who are members of the "Brotherhood". This is why a new cosmic ethics, "a mixture of gnosis and New Age", which could actually be ridiculed by a minimum of deepening, spread in the Church. For in their view, man is "equated with all other animals", but with an aggravating element "to practice abortion and euthanasia." Methodius complains that
"Even some bishops, whether from superficiality or conviction, can imagine that catholicity will in the future mix and equate with other religions or their absurd parodies" (108).

Optimistic start, gloomy continuation

The novel begins with an optimistic perspective, then quickly and ever deeper into the sober reality. Thus he unfolds concrete scenarios, which draw a gloomy picture. The secret "fraternity" engages in numerous actions to discredit the new pope.
"It is not just a fascinating story, but a no less exciting 'game', that will enable readers to figure out who is behind the fictionalized names the author has chosen for his novel. This is also the only fun the novel offers, because the rest is the tragic image of a world in which the obscure 'brotherhood' dictates the rules," says Corrispondenza Romana .
It would be desirable if a publisher brought out a translation for the readership of the English-speaking people. As an expression of our time, Mazza's work is not only a timely document, but also provides some illuminating insights, dressed in the genre of the utopian novel.

Libero Poll: 84% Miss Pope Benedict

The daily newspaper "Libero" has been conducting an online vote since yesterday with clear results. In the picture Pope Benedict XVI. as a cardinal.

(Rome) The Italian daily newspaper Libero has been conducting an online vote since yesterday. The question is: "Are you missing Ratzinger as head of the church?"

The current voting result

Only one-time voting is possible. The vote is counted after a few seconds and the current result is published as a percentage. It is not known how many readers have been involved in the vote. The reconciliation result is continually updated and is unambiguous. On April 13th, at 8:57 am, it looked as follows:

84 per cent of Libero readers have replied: Yes, I am missing Ratzinger as a church leader. Only 16 percent have so far denied the question.

The well-known Italian journalist Antonio Socci, who takes a very critical attitude towards the reigning Pope, writes for the daily newspaper Libero.

The comments on the online vote reflect the mood among the voters. Some examples:

A Franco Ranuzzini wrote:

"Ratzinger spoke of God and frequently quoted the Bible, but it is only understood that Bergoglio was a Pope because he is dressed in white, otherwise he would be considered a politician."

A Francesco Cenatiempo added in response to Ranuzzini's comment:

"No, Bergoglio is the Imam of the Vatican."

A Riccardo Cavalli wrote:

"The Pope is Benedict XVI.  In his recent sermons, Bergoglio crosses the line. He said that Jesus was the devil! And made himself a serpent! Is there any doubt about who Bergoglio is and who is Pope? Read the visions of Emmerich and Neumann. Let us remain faithful to the everlasting doctrine and the constant teaching of the Church!

Giorgio Collarin wrote:

"High on the emeritus pope. Happy Birthday!"

The representativeness of the survey can cast doubt on the overall question as to whether a Catholic Church head should be measured in surveys. In any case, the Libero Initiative makes visible a part of the mood among the people, which is a counterpoint to the likely attitude of the leading media toward Pope Francis.

Is it also the case that 84 per cent miss Benedict XVI as Pope because Francis "makes himself invisible"  on the Triduum, to  the Church, and celebrates the Mass of the Last Supper not in the Lateran basilica with his diocese and the world church, but to their exclusion and in the public From?

Brave Priest Suspended for Criticizing the Administration of Pope Francis on Islam and Amoris Laetitia

Edward Pushparaj at his Deaconal Ordination by the Archbishop of
Pescara. Because of criticism leveled against Pope Francis, the recently ordained priest
from India was supsended
(Rome) He, a Catholic priest, criticized Pope Francis on the last Palm Sunday in his homily - and was suspended.
According to Il Pescara of 10 April, Palm Sunday Mass in the Parish of St. Anthony of Padua in the town of Montesilvano in the Abruzzi in Italy came to grief. In the parish, the Indian priest, Edward Arulrai Pushparaj has been serving for some time. Don Pushparaj had already worked as a deacon in the parish. Already in the past he had criticized the office of Pope Francis. He did so in his sermon on Palm Sunday.
The priest had described "Pope Bergoglio, as an evil for the Church," according to the daily newspaper, referring to eye witnesses. The Indian criticized the "extreme openness to dialogue" with regard to positions and persons who represent positions that are openly contradictory to the doctrine of the Church. In particular, the priest criticized the "willingness to dialogue with Islam." His criticism also against the post-synodal letter Amoris laetitia was "hard".
Msgr. Tommaso Valentinetti, Archbishop of Pescara-Penne, was informed about the content of the sermon. This required enlightenment from the local pastor, Don Antonio Del Casale. The preaching had to serve the "meditation of the readings of the day, and certainly not to give personal judgments, especially if they were not in communion with the Pope," the archbishop said. "I think it is right to give the priest a time of rest and free him from his present obligations. It is certain that priestly ministry in the Catholic Church presupposes communion with the Holy Father." [LOL]
The archbishop also announced: "I intend to visit the parish of St Anthony of Padua at Easter, to take care of their sorrows."
The complaint against the Indian priest had been presented by the faithful to the Archbishop, as the daily newspaper had shown through. Some of the faithful even accuse the priest of "raising his voice to criticism" on the sidelines of his sermons.
Don Edward Arulrai Pushparaj was ordained priest in 2013 by his local bishop, Archbishop Antony Pappusamy of Madurai, but sent to the "sister diocese" of Pescara-Penne. Don Pushparaj comes from the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. He had already begun his theological studies in India and then continued at the papal universities in Rome.

Castro Mistress: Fidel Received the Last Rites

69-year-old in an interview with the Italian church broadcaster: Dictator met with a priest every day and developed a positive attitude towards Christianity

Rome (kath.net/KAP) The long-term Cuban dictator Fidel Castro (archive photo) had received the sacraments before his death in December 2016. "Some Jesuit fathers have told me that Fidel Castro died being comforted by religion, and they said to me, "be quiet because Fidel died in a Christian way," said Anna Maria Traglia, a former lover of Fidel Castro, for the Italian Church broadcaster "TV 2000." According to her information, the "Maximo Lider" was visited daily by a priest.

Traglia, now 69 years old, is the niece of Cardinal Luigi Traglia, who in turn, in the 1970s, was the vicar of Pope Paul VI. In Rome. When she was 27, she had met Castro by the intermediation of his relative, the secretary at the Cuban embassy in Rome, whom Traglia had met and befriended. For years she had been Fidel's lover, said Traglia, who spoke of a "great love" until the end of her life and lived in Cuba for a long time.

On her urging, a parish was opened in Havana, where she had attended Mass every Sunday afternoon, said Traglia. After the service Fidel was waiting for her in front of the church door in a car with the number plate "Comandante 1."  She had also unintentionally introduced a meeting between Castro and Cardinal Agostino Casaroli. When she was invited by the nuncio at that time, Castro had simply come along, causing the Vatican diplomat to be embarrassed, as there were no instructions for this situation. However, a "mutual sympathy" had developed immediately between the two men.

Traglia traveled to Cuba a year and a half ago, when Castro was already in bad health. By May 2016 there had also been regular telephone contact with the ex-dictator. On her last encounter she found Castro "very changed", said Traglia. "One day he told me: I often think of your words, referring to my Christian faith."

Hungary's Foreign Minister: "How Many Churches Celebrate Ad Orientem?"

The Church of the Sacred Heart Surrounded by Scaffolding
(Rome) On March 8, Hungary's Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto visited the earthquake-hit city of Tolentino. The minister was personally informed about the efforts of Hungarian aid. At the same time, he also inspected the progress of the reconstruction work of art goods and the work on the masonry of the severely damaged Church of the Sacred Heart. The security work on the church is financed by the Hungarian government. The contacts were brought about by Prior Andrea Corradori with the Brotherhood of the Sacred Heart of Jesus which is based at the parish.

Hungary's Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto (center) in Tolentino

"It was touching to see the young minister who entered the church which was closed because of the danger of collapse and genuflected to the Blessed Sacrament which was in the tabernacle, as was the case on the days of the earthquakes from the 26th to the 30th of August," Corradori said.
The minister asked the Prior of the Brotherhood of the Sacred Heart: "How many churches in Italy celebrate ad orientem?"
After the church visit,  the minister said in a local TV-interview:
"Hungary can face the challenges of the future if it is not removed from its Christian roots. For this reason, we are particularly responsible for helping the Christian communities in the world. So we did not think twice when the request came from Tolentino: We had to help!"
The Bishop of Macerata, Monsignor Nazzareno Marconi, also attended the meeting with the minister.

An Italian Court Finds Muslims Who Tortured and Drowned Christians Guilty of Religious Hatred

A court in Palermo imposes 18 years of imprisonment because in 2015 Muslims apparently had thrown 12 Christians into the sea on their flight across the Mediterranean Sea - the judges regarded religious hatred as an aggravating circumstance

Palermo (kath.net) An Italian court last week condemned six migrants to 18 years imprisonment because they had thrown twelve Christians into the sea in April of 2015. The judges considered religious hatred as an aggravating circumstance. A defendant was sentenced to four years' imprisonment for torture, and others charged were released. Italian and Austrian media, including the daily newspaper "Der Standard", published in Vienna, reported on a report from the APA press agency.

Christian and Muslim refugees had dared to flee across the Mediterranean, and religious disputes arose on the ship: Christians had been compelled to pray to Allah. Muslim migrants are said to have beaten twelve Christians from Nigeria and Ghana and thrown them overboard.

Posters Appear in Rome Denouncing Pope Bergoglio's Modernist Autocracy

Edit: here's a brief edited google translation of Marco Tossatti's report:

[Marco Tosatti] In Rome every now and again there appear posters without permission on the walls; ie posters that do not follow the regular procedure for the City. A modern and updated version of the bills that the Romans unhappily hung at Pasquino, the mutilated statue at Piazza Navona, to protest against injustices and to express their displeasure.

The last case of putting up posters - irregular - and mocking,  concerned the Minister of Education, Valeria Fedeli, a few months ago. But that the walls of Rome are now covered up with dozens of posters against the Pontiff is certainly a big news.

It happened today, and the news broke broke at ADN Kronos in these terms:

"There appeared dozens of posters this morning throughout Rome, hung on the walls of the city, of protest against Pope Francis and his work. The picture across the board shows the image of the pontiff which is particularly darkened and frowning. Below, on the bottom in purple, written with Romansh font: 'In Francis, you police congregations, removed priests, decapitated the Order of Malta and the Franciscans of the Immaculate, ignored Cardinals ...  is this your mercy? ' . The poster is anonymous, does not report acronyms or symbols, but is easily attributable to the conservative circles who increasingly expressed their opposition to the Magisterium, measures and the pontifical line of  Pope Bergoglio. "Earthquake is a Punishment From God": Radio Marya Distances Itself

Position represented by the 75-year-old Dominican Cavalcoli, according to the broadcaster is "not in accordance with mercy as the core of the Christian message."

Rome (kath.net/ KAP)  Due to a statement on the central Italian earthquake as "punishment from God" Italian Radio Maria has discontinued the priest's series. The position represented is not in harmony with mercy as the core of the Christian message, the Catholic broadcaster announced on Saturday in Milan. At the same time, it apologized to those afflicted in the earthquake zone.

The Dominican priest and former dogmatic professor, Giovanni Cavalcoli (75) had replied in his monthly mission to a listener's question that the earthquake in Central Italy was also a punishment of God "in the sense of an appeal to the conscience, to rediscover the principles of natural law" in view of marriage and family, or the recognition of same-sex partnerships. The Vatican and bishops of the earthquake region expressed their indignation and distanced themselves from the statement.

During a hard-hitting phone interview by Radio 24 following his remarks, Cavalcoli affirmed on Friday  the correctness of his pointed theses that homosexuality or adoption rights for same-sex couples deserved divine punishment by natural disasters.

Vatican Excommunicates Members of the "Bambinello of Gallinaro"Community

CDF: This community is contrary to Catholic doctrine, because it prevents its followers from attending the Catholic sacraments and declares against the teaching of the popes.

Vatican City (kath.net/KAP) The Vatican has declared the followers of "Bambinello of Gallinaro" excommunicated. The corresponding decree of the Roman Congregation was read on Sunday in the churches of the central Italian diocese of Sora and published on its website.

From the perspective of Church leadership is in the community, which in October 2015 calls itself "Christian Universal Church of the New Jerusalem," has become a "pseudo-religious organization".

Their sanctuary in the village of Gallinaro annually attracts thousands of pilgrims, especially the last Sunday in June.

Pilgrimages to Gallinaro are based on the alleged visions of Giuseppina Norcia (see photo). In 1947, she claimed to have seen the baby Jesus sleeping on a cloud. The phenomenon was repeated according to information by their Community on 15 May 1974. At that time, therefore, the Virgin Mary and the Archangel Michael called upon the seer to build a cradle for the baby Jesus. This led to today's sanctuary.

Since then, further reports of miracles have reinforced the influx of the faithful. Norcia died in 1989 at the age of 49.  The CDF has now declared that the community is contrary to Catholic teaching, that it deters its followers from attending Catholic sacraments as well as contact with priests and parishioners and to disregard the teachings of the popes.  It is also pointed out that the diocese of Sora distanced itself from the group and the supposedly supernatural messages in 2001. As the self-proclaimed church committed a schism,  the community has rejected the Pope, and subject their followers to the entering  of excommunication latae sententiae, continued the CDF. The Bishop of Sora, Gerardo Antonazzo, gave his priests the authority with the announcement of the decree to absolve the excommunication in confession. But the priest must be satisfied that it was a deliberate and formal membership in the "Church of the New Jerusalem" and that person definitely wants to turn away from it.

"Gay Marriage": Bishops Uncertain About Pope's Course -- Which Led to Defeat in Argentina in 2010

(Rome) The Family Day, which is the planned demonstration for the 30th of January, organized by the Italian Manif pour tous, and the Pope's attitude about it, has set off a battle royal in the Italian Bishops' Conference -- between its President Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco and the General Secretary Bishop Nunzio Galantino.  Additionally it's still being discussed in Argentina to this day whether Jorge Mario Bergoglio, had favored the introduction of "gay marriage"  when he was Archbishop of Buenos Aires and Primate of Argentina in 2010.
The president  of the Italian Episcopal Conference is automatically the pope as Bishop of Rome. However, he appointed as representative  both a delegated President [He was voted in by a majority vote, which was then considered a snub to the pope.] as well as the Secretary-General. Cardinal Bagnasco was acquired by Pope Francis from his predecessor. Bishop Galatino, however, was introduced by him and is considered a "man of the pope". On the first Family Day, on June 20, 2015   a million people took part to protest against the introduction of "gay marriage" and against the gender ideology in schools.  Now the debate begins in Parliament, which is the reason for a second Family Day, to tell the representatives of the people what the Catholics and other people of good will do not want.
