Oil Baron Threatens to Destroy Faithful Ordinary of San Francisco

Edit: another layman steps in on behalf of an infernal agenda of secularism.

San Francisco, Calif., Feb 27, 2015 / 05:20 pm (CNA/EWTN News).- Sam Singer’s public relations firm spun a Chevron oil refinery disaster in California and fought back a legal ruling in Ecuador that could have awarded billions of dollars to indigenous people for the company’s alleged pollution damage to the Amazon.
Now he’s been hired to attack San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone. He even wants Pope Francis to do his work.
“Everyone is praying that the Pope will remove the San Francisco Archbishop and these priests,” Singer said in a Google+ post on Feb. 18, Ash Wednesday.

The article never reported who actually hired him. Maybe this one is "pro malo publico."

This article suggests that the schools themselves hired Singer:

If it is in fact these four schools that have hired Singer, they need to be closed down, or at least the principals and boards need to be removed. Most Catholic high schools, from my observation, are a scam, like the big Catholic colleges. The more affluent the student body of a given Catholic high school is, the likelier the sports program is going to the school's focus; the kids are on average going to be snottier than the local public schoolkids; and the students will graduate with an understanding and knowledge of the Catholic Faith will be next to zero thanks to watered down classes courtesy of the "Theology Department."

The small parish high school, which was more accountable, is gone because there aren't any more brothers and sisters. Please pray for vocations.

Singer appears to be a hired gun who will work for whomever pays him, but he was on the side of justice in the Ecuadorian case against Chevron. There, a bunch of lawyers, moneymen, and their associates tried to shake down Chevron using the power of a corrupted Ecuadorian system. The charges were false and the evidence was fraudulent. I fully support Archbishop Cordileone, but the case against him fails on its (lack of) merit, not because of (false) accusations against his enemies' hired PR gun.

A Priest once told me that, "Catholics under persecution become stronger Catholics". If they succeed against Archbishop Cordileone, the outcome will only be that Traditional Catholics will become stronger in their opposition to heresy and error.

I think it's stupid to name the oil company as if they were complicit in this matter re: Cordileone. They had NOTHING to do with it. You may well take issue with Chevron for other reasons, but not THIS one. Poor, slipshod reporting.

Read the original in Pantheos. "Some parents" - more likely aides to the Devil....This is what happens after a Diocese has allowed anti Catholic teachings and practices to flourish and then a good Archbishop tries to bring it back in line. God Bless and protect him.
