Bishop Ousts Another Traditional Friendly Order From His Diocese

Edit: got this the other day from our correspondent in Oklahoma, the Okie Traditionalist.  This is the same Bishop who's acted to remove Father Ripperger's order from his diocese. Bergoglio's man Konderla  has decided to oust the Daughters of Mary, a Catholic female religious order, from his diocese:

From their recent Advent/Christmas 2016 Newsletter (emphasis his) LINK

The new bishop of Tulsa told us earlier this month that he does not see a way forward for our community in the Diocese of Tulsa, Oklahoma. In a memo to Diocesan priests and staff, the bishop wrote: “After careful consideration and prayerful discernment, the Diocese of Tulsa has elected to end its affiliation with the Daughters of Mary, Mother of Israel’s Hope and allow the community to continue their apostolic exploration in another diocese.”
This is a great sadness to us and to many families and individuals in the Diocese of Tulsa and beyond who have worked so hard and given so much to establish our Priory and renovate the guest house that was donated to us. Yet, we are at peace...
It's also discussed on the Hirsch Files...

Who says, you'd better not complain, or it will get worse.

Will Progressive Outsider Be Responsible in Future for the Appointment of Bishops?

(Washington) Archbishop Charles Chaput of Philadelphia has been attacked by the media as an "enemy" of the Pope, because he interpreted the Post-Synodal Letter Amoris laetitia in the light of Catholic moral teaching and Sacraments. Archbishop Blase  Cupich of Chicago has been appointed at the same time by Pope Francis as a member of the Congregation for Bishops, and will continue to have a decisive influence on the appointment of bishops in the United States. The two events are emblematic of the pontificate of Pope Francis and his relationship with the Church in the United States. The Church in the United States is not only the richest and one of the most influential churches in the world, the US episcopate being formed by  the pontificates of John Paul II. and especially Benedict XVI., as an  "obstacle" for the progressive agenda.
As reported,  the profile Archbishop of Philadelphia, a direct descendant of the Saint King Louis IX. of France, is in the crossfire of criticism, because he published on July 1,  the "Pastoral Guidelines for the Implementation of Amoris Laetitia" in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia (see NCR's Archbishop Chaput affirmed Catholic teaching on marriage and is presented by the media as an "enemy" of the Pope ). In it,  Archbishop Chaput reiterated Catholic marriage and morality in terms of divorce, remarriage and reception of Communion. The archbishop is it shown by the media as  an "enemy" of Pope Francis, who wishes, unlike Msgr. Chaput, for an "opening".

Pope Francis appoints Cupich in the Congregation for Bishops

Today it was announced in the daily bulletin of the Holy See that Pope Francis has appointed the controversial bishop of the United States, Archbishop Blase Cupich, a member of the Congregation of Bishops. He will thus have a say in the future, a decisive say, in the appointment of bishops in the United States.

Msgr. Cupich is controversial because of his progressive stance . The former bishop of the little diocese of Spokane in Illinois was considered "leftist outsider" among the bishops of the United States, as Pope Francis made him an archbishop  in September 2014 of the most important and largest diocese in the country. The Pope had clashed   with the then incumbent predecessor, Cardinal Francis George, head to head,  who died a few months later from cancer.  Who the favor of the Pope belongs, was also made clear that Cupich, who had not been elected by the US bishops as a delegate to the Synod for Bishops  for the  Synod on the Family to Rome, was appointed by Francis personally to the synod. In Rome he was then promptly praised for his "open" attitude on the controversial issues, particularly his " Deliramenta" on the subjective conscience.

Pope "is looking for the most progressive candidate"

Cupich's progressive outsider role is therefore not a defect, but has been the real reason why Francis made him the archbishop of Chicago, as Catholic observers are unanimous about in the US.
In an essay for Le Journal de Montréal  Alain Pronkin wrote on April 19, 2016: Pope Francis is looking at the episcopal appointments "for the most progressive candidate." In November 2015, the Vatican expert Sandro Magister drew attention because the "real revolution" of Pope Francis would succeed "by appointment".
The cardinalatial dignity is usually associated with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and Chicago. In the United States it will be closely monitored, which of the two metropolitans Pope Francis will rise into the cardinalatial state.

Archbishop Cupich instead Cardinal Burke

Under Pope Benedict XVI., it was the former Archbishop of Saint Louis, Raymond Leo Burke, who was assigned as one of the "bishop makers" in the US. The German pope summoned the farmer's son from Wisconsin and brilliant canon lawyer  to the Roman Curia to Rome in 2008 and made him Prefect of the Apostolic Signatura, the Vatican's high court.
The influence of  the outstanding and traditionally friendly cardinal, who was even considered "papabile" during the papal conclave of 2013, made him a thorn in the side to those  who found an ear in high places with the election of Pope Francis. The Argentine Pope dismissed the US Cardinal: In December 2013, he removed Cardinal Burke from the Canonization Congregation and from the Congregation for Bishops. The latter decision was seen as a demonstrative departure "from the excellent " episcopal appointments (Fr. Joseph Fessio SJ, student of Joseph Ratzinger) in the US by Benedict XVI. for which  Cardinal Burke was significantly responsible..
The appointment of  Bishop Cupich as Archbishop of Chicago confirmed fears.

Cupich the new "Bishop maker" in the US

By his appointment as member of the Congregation for Bishops, as an observer, Archbishop Cupich would be to take a role in the appointment of bishops in the United States in the pontificate of Francis, which  Cardinal Burke had in the pontificate of Benedict XVI.. However, the orientation of the appointments will be quite different.
Cupich will not directly be accepting  the seat of Cardinal Burke. He had become, even before the Synod of Bishops in 2014, the spokesman of the defenders of Catholic moral teaching and Sacraments against the progressive Kasper agenda. Although he had already been quite clearly threatened with dismissal, he would not give up his resistance, and  the Cardinal fearlessly continued his fight for the traditional doctrine and did not hesitate also to call out Pope Francis as the relevant director of the attack on the sacrament of marriage. A few days after the conclusion of the Synod of Bishops, Pope Francis, "thanked"  him   Cardinal Burke by dismissing him and removing him from the Vatican. Thus, the Church leader beheaded the opposition to his "opening" and favored the Kasper Group.
At Burke's place in the Congregation for Bishops, Pope Francis put Cardinal Wuerl, Archbishop of Washington D.C. in December 2013,  who is known in the US episcopate as a "moderate conservative.".Cardinal Wuerl took the papal grace he had obtained via the anti-Burke function, very seriously. So seriously, that he publicly attacked his American brother Burke early in 2015, when he was punished by the Pope and completely removed from the Roman Curia and reproached him for criticizing papal decisions and defaming them.

Now the pope is no longer dependent on Cardinal Wuerl. In the meantime, there with Archbishop Cupich, is a real "man of the Pope" in the US episcopate. With today's appointment of Cupich in the Congregation for Bishops, Pope Francis the will turnout consistently new offices to continue with the aim:to rebuild the US episcopate.

New Bishop Insults Faithful, Who Receive Communion Kneeling on the Tongue

Dom Wilson is Disturbed by Kneeling Communion
(Brasilia) Do Luis Angotti Wilson Filho made the worst start possible start as he takes over his diocese.  During Communion he asked kneeling faithful to stand up. Fratres in Unum criticized the behavior of the new bishop as "outrageous behavior" criticized Frates in Unum the new bishop.
On June 13, the inauguration of the new Bishop of Taubaté in Brazil took place. Pope Francis had appointed  Dom Luís Angotti Wilson Filho last April 15th  as the new bishop of the southern Brazilian diocese. Taubaté is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Aparecida. It was established in 1908 by Pope Pius X by making territorial concessions to the Archdioese of Sao Paulo. As Pius XII. established the Archdiocese of Aparecida in 1958, the reduced diocese of Taubaté became the new archdiocese.

"Your Excellency, are You not Ashamed?"

A native of the State of Sao Paulo Dom Wilson was conferred ordination in 1982. In 2011 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him as Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Belo Horizonte in the State of  Minas Gerais and Titular Bishop of Tabae, a defunct diocese in southwestern Turkey today.
As for the faithful who knelt for Communion at the inauguration last Saturday, they were "shamelessly" asked by their new bishop, said Fratres in Unum , to stand up and receive Hand Communion. "Excellency, are you not ashamed to begin your episcopal ministry in this historic diocese by such an embarrassing disregard of the law of the Church, which assures the faithful that right?" The Canon Law explicitly provides oral communion as the full and actual form of the reception of Communion while Communion in the hand had been authorized only in the post-conciliar period as an exception.

As Cardinal Baldisseri Was Apostolic Nuncio in Brazil

Dom Wilson at his inauguration
The Spanish church historian and well-known Catholic blogger Francisco Fernandez de la Cigoña described the new bishop for his handling of the believers, in its direct and colorful language, as "Chulo de mierda". "If the bishop does not respect the faithful, why should the faithful respect their bishop? I am not subject fortunately, to this idiot and therefore am without fear of his shepherd's crook to say what I think," said de la Cigoña.
The appointment of Dom Luís Angotti Wilson Filho auxiliary bishop of Belo Horizonte took place, when Msgr. Lorenzo Baldisseri was Apostolic Nuncio in Brazil. Pope Francis named Baldisseri in September 2013, Secretary-General of the Synod of Bishops and raised him in February 2014 to the cardinal state. At the Extraordinary Synod of Bishops last October, he played an inglorious role.
In 2013 there was another Brazilian Bishop, Archbishop Milton Antonio dos Santos of Cuiabá, who did not allow the  faithful of his diocese to kneel for communion  in a magisterial statement. After violent protests of the faithful, the Archbishop backed down and took back the ban (see Liturgy scandal before Pope's visit to Brazil - Archbishop Wanted Kneeling Communion Ban in German).

Pope Francis Suspends Priestly Ordinations in Paraguay: The Fate of Courageous Local Bishop in the Balance

The first step has been reached after the apostolic visit to the Paraguayan diocese. Francis will soon decide the future of Bishop Rogelio Livieres

The following is part of a report by Andres Alvarez at the Neocatholic Vatican Insider at Italy's anti-Clerical La Stampa. There's no discussion that the courageous Bishop Livieres' accusations of aberrosexuality on the part of one of his brother bishops, or his denunciations of Liberation Theology had anything to do with this as reported earlier here. Surely there are worse Diocese in Paraguay who produce no vocations, house Old Liberal Bishops and confuse the faithful endlessly with their heterodoxy? Nope, sorry, too much Catholicism it seems.

[VATICAN CITY, Vatican Insider] An immediate and forceful measure was undertaken in the Paraguayan Diocese of Ciudad del Este. In recent days two envoys of the Pope to the government conducted an audit of Bishop Rogelio Livieres Plano and, before leaving the country, dropped a bomb: Francis has all sacerdotal and diaconal ordinations in the diocese. So far no one has reported on the reasons for the freeze, but it clearly responds to a serious situation in the local seminary. [Like too much Catholicism, Latin, apostolic charity...]

The news was reported by the apostolic visitors, Spanish Cardinal Santos Abril y Castelló and Milton Luis Troccoli, Auxiliary Bishop of Montevideo (Uruguay). They concluded their investigations "in loco" on Saturday July 26. Investigations conducted during intense week, in which they passed around. It included fainting and subsequent hospitalization of the cardinal.

According to the practice of the Holy See, the apostolic visits are usually reserved audits are often carried out in absolute discretion. But the case of Ciudad del Este was different. First of all because the conflict between its bishop and other members of the Paraguayan Bishops is public domain several years ago.

New CDF Prefect Insists on Hermeneutic of Discontinuity

The CDF's New Doctrine Gardener!

Edit: Isn't defining doctrine the job of an ecumenical Council or a Pope?  Kreuz.net has noticed it.  Here, the new head of the Congregation for Doctrine and the Faith, stops nearly short at declaring the unprecedented doctrines ancillary to the Second Council as dogmas.

http://flickrhivemind.net/Tags/ziegenbock/Interesting
The following is an interview which the new Prefect for the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith, Archbishop Gerhard Ludwig Müller in the today's anti-Catholic Suddeutsche Zeitung.

With all the problems with Catholic Bishops denying central tenets of the Catholic Faith, there was still no mention by the journalist of the fact that most of the Church's Bishops don't really abide by the Vatican Council.

It would be equally nice if they asked the Archbishop about how it is he can deviate from orthodox teaching himself and call himself a defender of orthodoxy, or how he managed to get away with moving a predator priest around his Diocese in order to protect him.

Can one who can't even protect the children of his Diocese be expected to defend the doctrine of the Catholic Faith, which he himself doesn't seem to hold in its entirety?

[Suddeutsche Zeitung] Another work area which you have undertaken, are the negotiations with the Traditional Society of Pius X [sic]. They have rejected the terms by the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith for a return to the Catholic Church. Is this the end of the negotiations?

One belongs to the Catholic Church when one has to fill certain requirements -- above all an orientation to Holy Scripture, the Tradition and to the Church's teaching office. Whoever does not accept parts of that, puts himself then in a certain distance from the Church, even if he describes himself as Catholic. If the Society wants to resolve this separation, they must accept, what belongs to Catholic teaching -- and that means that the Second Vatican Council is binding. Naturally: one can discuss the relationship to the media. The statements on Judaism, religious freedom, the human rights have, in contrast, dogmatic implications. These can not be rejected without militating against the Catholic Faith.

The General Superior of the Society has put already put you under suspicion of heresy. Is that finally nipped in the bud?

We must await the official explanation froim the Society. Our position is clear. [No it's not]

The Society has stated otherwise: that the Pope is eager to unify with the Society. Only the CDF is against it.

That is only media politics, which doesn't have anything to do with reality.
