On the Death of Prof. Jean-Claude Lozac'hmeur

Here is the English translation of the text regarding Prof. Jean-Claude Lozac'hmeur.

**Catholic fighter, defender of Breton identity, linguist, historian, and critic of Freemasonry and its influence on the French state; pictured with his book: "The Occultist Origins of Freemasonry"**

On Maundy Thursday, April 2, 2026, the Breton scholar Prof. Jean-Claude Lozac’hmeur was called home by God at the age of 86 in Saint-Malo (Breton: *Sant-Maloù*). Lozac’hmeur was a passionate fighter for the faith, a linguist, medievalist, literary critic, and essayist whose work leaves a lasting mark on the French intellectual landscape.

A Life Anchored in the Church

Born in April 1940 in Toulon, Lozac’hmeur grew up on the Île de Molène (Breton: *Molenez*) and attended the Collège of the Frères de Lamennais in Saint-Renan (Breton: *Lokournan*). His deep connection to the Church and the Holy Mass shaped his entire life. Despite the painful and prolonged crisis within the Church, he remained steadfast. Without his tireless efforts, the Holy Mass in the traditional form of the Roman Rite would not have been established with such energy in Brittany. Religious instruction and ethical issues, such as *Humanae Vitae* and the right-to-life movement, were also particularly close to his heart.

In 1961, he married and became the father of five children. By the age of 23, he passed the examination for secondary school teaching and began teaching at the Collège of Combourg (Breton: *Komborn*). In parallel, he continued his university education, notably under the supervision of Prof. Charles Foulon at the University of Rennes-II, where he later taught as a lecturer, assistant professor, associate professor, and finally, a full professor.

Scientific Merits

Lozac’hmeur earned his doctorate in 1978 with the thesis *La Genèse de la légende d’Yvain: essai de synthèse* (The Genesis of the Legend of Yvain: A Synthetic Essay), supervised by Prof. Léon Fleuriot, the head of the Celtic department at Rennes II. Together, they published an anthology of Celtic poetry—alongside Léon Prat and with an introduction by Per Jakez-Elias—which remains a reference work to this day.

His further scholarly works include translations and studies of medieval texts, such as the *Chanson d’Aiquin* ("The Song of Aiquin," 1985, with Maud Ozzava) and numerous works on the Arthurian legend in cooperation with the Japanese medievalist Shigemi Sazaki. His research on King Arthur, the Holy Grail, and figures like Mabonagrain is cited in Philippe Walter's *Dictionnaire de mythologie arthurienne*.

Beyond research, Lozac’hmeur was committed to training students at Rennes II and other universities. He was a co-founder of the Faculty of Saint-Malo (Faclib), intended to offer an alternative to the ideological influence then prevailing in higher education. However, political intervention led to its closure—another point of pain in his life.

Brittany

Jean-Claude Lozac’hmeur campaigned intensively for his Breton homeland, particularly for the preservation and strengthening of Brittany's cultural identity. In his writings, he emphasized the historical independence of the region, its traditions, history, and the consciousness of a deep-rooted cultural continuity within France. He viewed Brittany not merely as a geographical space, but as a cultural community with its own distinct character, whose values and traditions should be preserved and passed on. His commitment thus went beyond simple local heritage care and was closely linked to the desire to assert regional identity against tendencies toward homogenization.

This was no easy undertaking in a France whose state doctrine since the French Revolution has been based on centralism and a uniform nation-state, which sought to erase linguistic and cultural diversity and fundamentally fought ethnic minorities, even though they are a part of France. He also recognized in this the "poisoned" Masonic influence, which he opposed.

Masonic Studies

Lozac’hmeur published numerous works on Freemasonry, which are considered carefully researched and documented. He argued that modern Freemasonry, though not directly, is based on ancient mystery cults and pursues an ideological goal: the establishment of a global state in which man becomes quasi-godlike through science and technology. His central works include:

 * **Actualité de l’Apocalypse** ("The Relevance of the Apocalypse," Éditions des Cîmes)

 * **De la Ré-volution – Essai sur la politique maçonnique** ("On the Re-volution – An Essay on Masonic Politics," Éditions Sainte Jeanne d’Arc)

 * **Fils de la veuve – Recherches sur l’ésotérisme maçonnique** ("Son of the Widow – Research on Masonic Esotericism," Éditions de Chiré)

 * **De la Gnose au Graal – Aperçu sur une tradition initiatique** ("From Gnosis to the Grail – Insights into an Initiatic Tradition," Éditions des Cîmes)

 * **Les origines occultistes de la franc-maçonnerie – Recherches sur une religion d’État** ("The Occultist Origins of Freemasonry – Studies on a State Religion," Éditions des Cîmes)

All works remain available through the Catholic publisher and distributor *Livres en Famille*.

His defense of the Catholic Church, Catholic moral teaching, the right to life for unborn children, and natural law—alongside his decisive fight against Freemasonry and its influence on the French state, state doctrine, and social life—earned him the bitter enmity of his opponents. They attempted to discredit him through massive campaigns, a tactic known in German-speaking countries as the summary "fight against the right" (*Kampf gegen rechts*).

Farewell and Legacy

Jean-Claude Lozac’hmeur passed away on a symbolically significant day, Maundy Thursday. An obituary for him states: For a man deeply connected to the faith, this is a sign of the constant spiritual struggle for the Eucharist, the great mystery of God giving Himself to the faithful.

The funeral services will take place during Easter week on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 2:30 PM in his Breton home of Sant-Maloù, at the Chapel of Sainte-Anne de Saint-Servan (52 rue Jean XXIII, Saint-Malo 35400).

His work remains a testimony to a life of faith, scholarship, education, and the defense of Catholic tradition. He combined this life with the courage to contradict the official state and historical narrative and the dominant socio-political trends, pointing out suppressed aspects and offering different perspectives.

In the language of the Church and in his mother tongue:

*Requiescat in pace.*

*Ra vo e ene e peoc’h.

Trad-Inc Transformers Destroyed — Trump Triumphant

Edit: hat tip to Chris Jackson.  It was a thing to behold and some of the venom even spilled over here. Oops! We’ll be cautiously optimistic, but oil futures just cratered along with the wheat and corn options. Oops!

I don’t mean to use more mean words, but I’m pretty sure some of these tradlickificent dudes were a little sad American pilots weren’t being tortured on Iranian TV, and that there aren’t thousands of body bags coming back to the shear joy of the usual suspects.

Opus Jones is encouraging treason:

Catholicism Catching a Bid in UK

Edit: I’ll bet Gaybrielle is mad that more fervant youthful Catholics are going to show up at Mass and confessional to offer helpful suggestions about his room temperature catholicity.

Our very own (not really) Andrew Cusack opines!

[Catholic Herald] within the Union, Scotland likes to do its own thing. For centuries a different legal system and state religion have marked its distinction from its southern neighbour – differences only augmented once the Scottish Parliament was reconvened in 1999. That same year, the composer James MacMillan ruffled the feathers of Scotland’s presiding liberal elite by calling out the ongoing anti-Catholic bigotry he argued was still pervasive in parts of Scottish society. The reaction to his remarks showed the Catholic Church has occupied an uneasy position within Scottish society.

As anecdotal and statistical reports from across the western world are showing a ‘quiet revival’ in interest in Christianity more broadly and Catholicism specifically, I spoke with Monsignor Patrick Burke, the parish priest of St James Church and Catholic chaplain to the University of St Andrews, to discuss how – or even whether – this revival is happening in Scotland and how the Church is responding.

“It’s definitely happening, but it’s got nothing to do with us,” Monsignor Burke reported. “God knows we – priests, laity – have done everything we can to destroy the Church but nonetheless there is a perceptible interest, a turning towards Catholic Christianity.”

Catholic Charities Gave us Somali Pirates and Engages in Human Trafficking

Edit: found this from @operationobvious on Instagram and TickTock. It took awhile to locate the provenance of the video. It’s interesting that the video doesn’t cover all the highlights dealing with Catholic Charities involvement with importing Somalia into the United States, but what he also maintains, something we’ve said for more than a decade, that Catholic Charities is a human trafficking organization.

Steve Robinson highlights several key points regarding their involvement:

• (1:17:05) He describes how Catholic Charities makes significant amounts of money by relocating migrants to various parts of the country.

 • (1:17:17) He characterizes their operations as a form of "human trafficking," stating that they are paid to distribute people who have crossed the border illegally throughout the United States.

• (1:17:34) He clarifies that while they have an affiliation with the Catholic Church, the organization functions primarily as a non-profit migrant resettlement business.

 • (1:25:07 - 1:25:12) Robinson mentions that officials from Catholic Charities have been directly involved in state government offices, such as the Office of New Americans in Maine.

The Church-State of Jones

Edit: is EMJ really worth 2 Billion dollars? He doesnt live like a billionaire.

You've heard of the Church of What's Happenin' Now? Jones is one part George Carlin, Father Coughlin, Part Firesign Theater, hippie and Michael Ignatiev

Are they leaving him alone because he says most of the right things? He’s a gungrabber too! Seems like a sixties radical who found Catholicism in the wake of Virgil Michel, Dorothy Day, Peter Maurin and Thomas Merton?

It's so disappointing to see him turn from such salient critiques of J-power only to fail on so many other fronts. I’m also not sure I entirely like how he took out Pink Sheepdog either. Maybe someone can explain to us how he got all that dirt on Voris without violating the seal of the confessional.

Maybe if you’re a public figure who is significantly remunerated for his words, you’re only allowed to deny one of the Globohomo’s orthodoxies for the purpose of doxxing people like Charles Bausmann.

De Bonald Contra Jewish Emancipation

[From @BThiong1885] Did you know?

Louis de Bonald (1754-1840), the great French counter-revolutionary thinker, monarchist and traditionalist Catholic, published a virulent text in 1806 against the emancipation of the Jews, denouncing Judaism as a foreign, parasitic force incompatible with French Christian society?

Louis de Bonald embodies the lucid reaction against the Revolution: he sees the Jewish emancipation of 1791 not as progress, but as an existential threat that dissolves the traditional order, Christian morality and national cohesion.

In his article “On the Jews” (Mercure de France, 8 February 1806), he asserts that the Jews form an “imperium in imperio” (a state within a state), that they are at war with Christian morality, that they live as parasites and remain a perpetually foreign people, even on French soil.
He compares their situation to that of freed Blacks and accuses the Enlightenment philosophers of having intellectually armed this senseless emancipation. He even goes so far as to write that if a Jewish Sanhedrin became the legislator, it could not produce laws more atrocious than those of the revolutionary Convention.

For Bonald, Judaism is not merely a different religion: it is a parallel society that refuses assimilation, practises usury and undermines the Catholic foundations of France. He calls for the return of discriminatory measures (distinctive markings, professional restrictions) to protect the nation.

SSPX Sends Book to Italian Bishops to Justify Upcoming Episcopal Consecrations

[katholisches.info] The Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) has launched a targeted information campaign ahead of its announced episcopal consecrations on July 1, 2026. According to reports, the traditionalist community sent a specially published book to every Italian diocesan bishop outlining its motives.

The volume, titled Al servizio della Chiesa ("In the Service of the Church") with the subtitle "The Episcopal Consecrations of the Society of St. Pius X," was published by the society's own press, Edizioni Piane. It aims to explain the theological and canonical arguments used by the SSPX to justify the planned consecrations. The content follows the line of reasoning established by its founder, Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, in 1988, which he termed "Operation Survival" for Tradition.

"In the Service of the Church: The Episcopal Consecrations"

The work portrays a deep crisis within the Church where—according to the Society's position—even ecclesiastical authorities are contributing to the spread of a "falsified faith." From this, the SSPX derives a "right to resistance" against the hierarchy. A quote from St. Paul’s Epistle to the Galatians, warning against the preaching of a "different gospel," serves as a programmatic opening.

The book was accompanied by a letter from the Italian District Superior, Father Gabriele D’Avino. In it, the action is described as an invitation to diocesan bishops to engage with the current state of the Church and enter into a process of "joint reflection."

Parallel Efforts in German-Speaking Regions

Simultaneously, the Society published its own brochure in the German-speaking world, compiling essential information regarding the upcoming consecrations. This publication is explicitly intended as a contribution to transparency and aims to provide supporting arguments for priests, the faithful, and interested parties.

Whether this initiative will resonate with the recipients remains to be seen. Observers note that even fundamental texts on recent church history are often little known. Nevertheless, the SSPX's approach shows that it is making an effort not only to justify its controversial steps internally but also to represent them proactively to the Catholic public, seeking contact with other parts of the Church.

Iron and Fire: Breaking the Rogue States of 1816 and 2026

British Ships of the Line at Algiers, August 26th 1816

Military history is often sanitized (and weaponized, no pun intended) for the purposes of propaganda, and demoralization of Western peoples and our story, it can be a mercy and a salvation to delve  into maps and maneuvers, where they can reveal and spell out the sinuous, harmonious connections underlying the story of our people, of Christendom, which is sometimes sorrowful, often triumphant, one of these connections is between the Bombardment of Algiers (1816) and Operation Epic Fury (2026) which were righteous, powerful responses to regimes that had pushed the international community to a breaking point. To understand these conflicts, one must look at the predatory nature of the targeted states and the devastating "super weapons" deployed to dismantle them.

The Butcher’s Bill: Regimes of Terror

The history of the West’s conflict with Islam is ancient, and it is incredible that the same personalities and physiognomies play themselves out over the centuries, just as Alexander the Great turned east and struck down Persian power, establishing a lasting connection and hegemony of the West over the Orient, and the latest conflict, involving the murderous and brutal Iranian regime and yet another righteously vengeful Western power. Such was the case in the way Western states dealt with Islamic pirate states in the 19th century, a continuation of centuries of war and piracy directed against European people by these brutal people which continues even to this day!

The Deylik of Algiers in 1816 was not a standard diplomatic partner; it was a state built on the economy of human suffering. For three centuries, the Barbary pirates had enslaved over a million Europeans, snatching victims from as far away as Iceland. By 1816, the "white slave trade" had reached a fever pitch of cruelty. The Dey, Omar Agha, famously treated diplomats with contempt, once even detaining the British Consul in irons. The bombardment was sparked by a horrific massacre of 200 Sicilian and Corsican fishermen under British protection—men who were slaughtered or dragged into chains while they slept.

The Iranian Regime in 2026 mirror-imaged this domestic and regional brutality. Leading up to the strikes, the Islamic Republic had engaged in what Amnesty International called the "deadliest period of repression in decades." In January 2026 alone, security forces carried out mass killings of thousands of protesters, using heavy machine guns on civilians in cities like Bandar Abbas and Neyshabur. Combined with their "nuclear breakout" and the constant threat to global energy through the mining of the Strait of Hormuz, the regime had become an existential "rogue actor" that the Trump administration viewed as beyond the reach of traditional sanctions. Iran has long leveled its murderous intent against European peoples, including the US Marines in Beruit bombing in 1983, an operation by the way, which the Mossad was aware of and didn’t forewarn us. Our greatest ally.

The Hammer: British Ships of the Line

When diplomacy failed in 1816, the British sent the "super weapons" of the 19th century: the First-Rate Ship of the Line.

 * HMS Queen Charlotte: Admiral Pellew’s flagship was a floating fortress carrying over 100 guns. During the battle, it anchored just 80 yards from the Algerian mole—literally within spitting distance of the enemy batteries.

 * The Firepower: The Allied fleet fired over 50,000 round shots using 118 tons of gunpowder in a single afternoon.

 * Congreve Rockets: These were the "smart bombs" of the era—early incendiary missiles that arched over the city’s walls, turning the Algerian navy into a bonfire within their own harbor.

The carnage was "sanguinary" (bloody). The British casualty rate was 16%, nearly double that of the Battle of Trafalgar. It wasn't a tactical dance; it was a grueling, industrial-scale demolition of a city.

A Barbary pirate, Pier Francesco Mola, 1650 (Wikicommons)

The Lightning: Trump’s "Epic Fury"

In 2026, the weaponry shifted from massed cannon fire to "invisible" precision. Operation Epic Fury showcased a suite of high-tech assets designed to strike without warning:

 * B-21 Raider & B-2 Spirit: Stealth bombers flew directly into the most "impenetrable" Iranian air defenses, dropping 30,000-pound Massive Ordnance Penetrators (MOP) to collapse nuclear bunkers buried deep under mountains.

 * The PrSM (Precision Strike Missile): Fired from HIMARS units, these missiles reached speeds and accuracies that rendered Iranian "S-400" defense systems obsolete.

 * Decapitation Tech: Unlike 1816, where the goal was to hit the city, 2026 focused on the individual. The use of "R9X" kinetic missiles—the so-called "flying ginsu" with blades instead of explosives—allowed for the targeted elimination of IRGC leadership while they were in moving vehicles, a level of terrifying precision that the British of 1816 could only have dreamed of.

Conclusion: The Price of Defiance

Despite the differences in the weapons, many things are the same, the antagonists are the same, the same Oriental cruelty and arrogance is the present. For now, we have the technological superiority Christian nations have lacked in the past, but we still fight on.

Both Algiers and Tehran underestimated the "breaking point" of a global power. In 1816, the British proved that wooden ships could survive a shore battery long enough to level a city. In 2026, the U.S. proved that geographic isolation and deep bunkers offer no protection against fifth-generation warfare.

In both cases, the "super weapons" achieved their immediate goal: the Dey of Algiers surrendered and freed 3,000 slaves the next day, and the Iranian command structure was shattered in 100 hours.

At this point, we stand at a brief pause as the world waits for the pause. Like the English King Henry V at Harfleuer, or Admiral Exner in Algeria, a successful bluff decided the day. Is the Don making a similar bluff, or is he stalling while he waits for ground forces and additional carriers arrive to steel the resolve of his diplomacy?
