Finally the Toni-Faber-Fetzen (Rag) is Gone!

God replaced by modernist Pseudo-"Kunst".  Dom of
St. Stephan in Vienna, after the Apostasy

Fast Veils

[] For about 1000 years the view to the altar during Lend has been shrouded by the "Lenten Veil" (also "Hungertuch")  to signify that sinful man is not worthy to see God.
Often these Lenten veils narrate the life of Christ, so also the Carinthian Lenten veils of Gurk, Haimburg, St. Stefan am Krappfeld or Maria Bichl, dating from the 15th to 17th centuries.

Religious Illiteracy

These Lenten veils were intended to bring the proportion of the population who could not read  (the illiterate), more powerfully closer to the life of Christ in a kind of poor man's Bible.
Today, the fast veils would have the task to bring the faith closer to the   religiously illiterate of our time.

Faithless Pseudoart

Instead, the Lenten veils have become a field of artsy agitation for those church officials who are obviously weak in faith.
In this way, the St. Andra Church in Graz   modernist pastor, Fr. Glettler, blighted the high altar with a holey carpet, while in the University of Vienna church the image of God was replaced by an image of the (pagan) Karnikels (Hare) .

2016: Waste in the St. Stephen's Cathedral

The masonic affine and former Red Hawks-socialist Fr. Toni Faber, now Cathedral Priest of St. Stephen in Vienna, has a penchant for self-expression, beliefs, and further, pseudo art.
The perverse Hermann Nitsch counts, along with  the Communist Alfred Hrdlicka as the favorite "artists" of Fr. Faber.
For 2016 Fr. Faber has something "special" devised: a fast veil that has nothing to do with beliefs.
It consists of some drop cloths sewn together by a  Slovene "multimedia artist."
"My top installations express the idea through a bond structure and the phenomena of Networked-being, as part of our people, both in our souls and bodies as psycho-biological process, as spiritual phenomena," wrote Fr. Faber citing the pseudo artist on a plaque in the cathedral - what that has to do with beliefs, can not be seen without an apron and compass.
Thus Fr. Faber recognizes the garbage as "art", he has also appointed a (well-paid) curator (three-quarters bald, braided ponytail and goatee).
Neither "artist" nor curator have been noted by a special closeness to the Church - but maybe that's just the ideal selection criterion for the Church pandering to modernity.

Austrian "Bling" Pastor Toni Faber Excites Furor About His Modernist Loft

Dompastor's Designer Chic

Edit: when he's not endorsing for the Freemasons or abusing the Liturgy, buying pornographic art, or honoring famous Communists,  he's relaxing in his sumptuous loft apartment.  A comparable apartment in New York probably  couldn't  be rented for less than $5,000 a month. He even has a personal hairdresser.

The Vienna Cathedral Priest Toni Faber has always thrown open his door for the media. But now he is likely to have finally shot himself in the foot. He invited the "Standard" to his Viennese luxury apartment. The photos of the apartment have enraged tempers.

Vienna ( The media "friendly" Viennese cathedral minister Toni Faber has probably, finally, shot himself in the foot. After a discussion about lifestyle in which the newspaper has published several photos of Faber's luxurious penthouse apartment, the waves have gone high. Some comments in the social media has been weighed criticism in the newspaper. "Better living with Toni Faber," was tweeted by ORF anchorman Armin Wolf. "Nice to see that the Church-tax is invested so stylishly," it read on Facebook. And poster "Wakman" even described the 100-square meter (1076 square feet) loft apartment as "Faber Manor". For Faber himself the "service apartment" is no problem. To  "Der Standard" he says, "Whenever we (...) invite the media  to the apartment, then there will automatically be the envious, which is one reason why I say quite openly:.. This is a service apartment. The fittings and Art, however, I financed with my private money that I have earned in the last 25 years." According to the newspaper, Cardinal Schönborn is said to be less than pleased about the publication of the photos.

Michael Prüller, his press secretary, explained to the newspaper: "It is debatable whether it is the duty of a minister to present his apartment to the media, but for me this is a storm in a teacup because this is a normal service apartment... the Cathedral Priest live so long and has paid operating costs, as he works." Also, no Church-tax money was used for this, as the house is located in the possession of the Cathedral Parish.

Protest Against Castellucci's Blasphemy at Vienna's Burgtheater -- For Cathedral Rector Faber "Artificial Outrage"

Edit: it's no small wonder that the Mason-loving, Communist promoting Cathedral Rector of Vienna's most ancient edifice condemns Catholics who are outraged that the Faith is being disparaged at public expense.  It's more surprising that the Porno-Rector hasn't  invited Castellucci to perform the play in the Stepensdom itself, with the Danube Cardinal's full approval of course.

(Vienna) Romeo Castellucci's blasphemous piece about the Concept of the Face of the Son of God was listed at the Vienna Festival Weeks at the Vienna Burgtheater. On Saturday night there was at the premiere to massive boos and catcalls. As in Paris and Milan this had occurred because of the blasphemous scenes vehement objections from the public. In Paris, young Catholics had occupied the stage in 2011 and had been taken away by the police. Castellucci's piece is da Messina performed before an oversized picture of Jesus by Renaissance painter Antonello. The representation of the Son of God is smeared with feces and pelted with stones.  From the audience there resounded on Saturday: "Such a mess!", "Stop it!", "Shame on you!"
Castellucci is passed around since the protests against his God insult from the left Kulturschickeria. In Germany, he joined with another piece on already at the Ruhr Festival.
The author talks about a true to life representation of human existence. This also included the rebellion against an overpowering image of God, from which it suffers remanded to Castellucci.
This Sunday there was an "artist talk" between Castellucci and the Vienna Cathedral Priest Toni Faber.  Faber distanced himself from protesting Catholics, their displeasure which was expressed by booing against the insult of the divine persons. The Vienna daily Die Presse quoted the Parish Priest with the words: "I have respect for religious  sensitivities, but we must not  be too self-pitying." The public protests were, says Faber, "perhaps" through ignorance of Castellucci's play "excusable".  An insulted Jesus caked with feces doesn't represent a problem for Vienna's Cathedral Rector. The question was raised "for artificial outrage".
It was a different issue altogether for Berlin Archbishop Rainer Maria Cardinal Woelki, as the piece was performed in March 2012 in Berlin at the Theater Hebbel am Ufer. Cardinal Woelki described the piece as "indecent" because "what is important and holy to people is drawn from people's beliefs and dragged through the mud."

Vienna's Cathedral Pastor Says Watching Porn Isn't a Serious Sin

"I Fall in Love a Lot"
Wherever the heart is full, the mouth overflows. The Viennese Cathedral Pastor, Anton Faber, has vomitted in a women's gossip magazine.

(, Vienna) Of him he says he would "ever and anon be addressed about his circumstances".

The Viennese scanadal priest, Father Anton Faber,  was interviewed by the Austrian women's gossip magaizine 'woman'.

The best stories from the Confessional

Fr. Faber  chatted about the most interesting confessions ever to come his way which he'd heard -- allegedly a former whore.

She had been abused by her own father and sold by her mother.  From the milieu of prostitution she fell into drugs.

Just before she was about to kill herself, she put her counsel in the hands of Father Faber.

[Edit: it sounds remarkably like the film "Into Temptation'.]

I've never been touched by a man like that before

The clergyman "listened to her for a long time, layed his hands on her forehead and prayed for her"

At the end the former whore said, that she is supposed to have been "never been touched by a man like that before".

She was clearly not talking about being touched by grace.

The words of sin and forgiveness did not arise in the description of Father Faber's confession either.

Still haven't become weak

In an interview Fr. Faber gloated about how, in the course of time  there was "not just one" immoral of made to him.

But he "still never became weak" as a priest --   he said with pride in the Virgin and the Martyrs.

His is -- on the contrary -- "painfully touched", when "men and women engage in sexual practices as if they were just shaking hands."

Watching Pornography Films is "Probably not a Serious Sin"

As tot he question, if priests are allowed to consume pornography, Fr. Faber denied Catholic moral teaching.

He avered for the feminine readership, that gawking at pornographic films is "probably not a serious sin".

The Evil are Other

The clergyman left not question desired unanswered: it happened to him that he was in love, "not just once".

Actually, he quickly redirected himself and insulted "supposedly pure ascetic priests, whom women avoid like the devil avoids holy water."

These clergymen supposes the supposedly tolerant Cathedral Pastor, are "so nasty to others and also themselves, mostly",  that they couldn't possibly love.

Women used and then left behind

True to heart, Fr. Faber is supposed to have commited many youthful sins with "many girlfriends".

If he had been a "good lover", you'd have to ask his partners in depravity, whom he reduced to prostitution.

He had moved like a "fish in many waters" in his youth.

A problem of a point in time?

The interview became especially bawdy during the question of the "first time".

He had fallen in "too early" with an accomplice -- wept the penitent Faber.

He describes this today as "not to be strictly recomended".

In that wazy, he way he must have surely "also wounded many".

He says he didn't want to marry any of them.

Thankfully he chose the priesthood

The Cathedral rector became a priest out of a false motivation.

As an 18 year old he was threatened by kidney failure.

He was so thankful for his life that he he supposedly committed himself to God.

It's still a white lie

Fr. Faber found a heaven for everyone.

Those who are gone have passed, "to a higher place of rest".

There they will have found the happiness that they "only partially could have enjoyed on earth".

In heaven one may "is spared all of the earthly crap" and is "simply super for it and completely fulfilled".
