"Diversity" in Law School Admissions

A friend of this blog is currently in the process of applying to law schools with the ultimate aim in view of protecting children from sexual abuse and suing the White Liberal Matriarchy for its manifold evils. Today, he stumbled across the following optional essay-prompt in an application to a certain law school on the east coast:

What unpopular opinion do you have, and why?

In his enthusiasm, he actually answered the question transparently, but those who advise him on these matters urged him not to include his answer in his application. Nevertheless, he thought that readers of this blog might enjoy his answer. Find it below:

Ruth Bader Ginsburg publicly advocated the three following evils:

1. That only women should serve on the Supreme Court:

When asked how many of the nine judges on the US Supreme Court should be female—and at what point there would be enough women on the bench, Ruth Bader Ginsburg had a simple answer: “When there are nine.” (1)

2. That Black football players protesting American racism should be criticized. According to her, such courageous activists show

contempt for a government that has made it possible for their parents and grandparents to live a decent life…Which they probably could not have lived in the places they came from…as they became older they realize that this was youthful folly. And that’s why education is important. (2)

3. That the age of consent to engage in lawful sexual intercourse be reduced to eleven. While advocating a gender-neutral language revision to Federal Law, Ginsburg and fifteen of her students wrote:

Eliminate the phrase “carnal knowledge of any female, not his wife who has not attained the age of sixteen years” and substitute…A person is guilty of an offense if he engages in a sexual act with another person, not his spouse, and…(3) the other person is, in fact, less than 12 years old. (3)

Because of these evils, Ginsburg was unworthy not only of service on the Supreme Court, but of the practice of law simply.
