This explanation doesn't make sense. So, CA think the Catholic hierarchy is being unfair to traditional Catholics. However, the reason it is not applying strict measures to the liberal German bishops is to avoid a major schism. However, the traditionalist SSPX brought excommunication on themselves and the Catholic hierarchy merely announced this. But, this is alright because the harsh treatment of the SSPX only concerns losing a couple of hundred thousand people rather than millions if the Germans were disciplined.
