Archbishop Cupich is Banning Baptisms

Edit: Cupich is evilly using the Coronavirus to further attack the Sacraments.

CHICAGO, March 27, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) ― The Archdiocese of Chicago, under the leadership of Cardinal Blase Cupich, has reportedly told its priests that all baptisms “must be postponed” in response to the coronavirus pandemic and that even an “emergency” baptism requires the “permission” of the bishop.
In an analysis published yesterday, Ed Condon and J.D. Flynn of Catholic News Agency (CNA) reported that Archbishop Cupich’s priests “have been told that during the (coronavirus) pandemic, the emergency celebration of baptism requires permission of the bishop ― despite canonical norms permitting anyone, even a layperson, to celebrate baptism in a true emergency.”
LifeSiteNews has been informed that this policy has not been publicly posted. However, when challenged by Twitter users, Condon posted parts of a document, including a paragraph stating, “All weddings and baptisms must be postponed and can be rescheduled only when the order is lifted. There is no exception to this, regardless of the size of the group. However, in case of an extreme emergency for baptism, please seek the permission of your bishop.”

Fortunately, a man does not require a priest to marry or baptize in the absence of access to a priest. This is a return to prior practice in North America.

Delete post exposing the abortion promotion of death blind lies: oh they are opus devil tfp plinio worshipers (!infiltrating more like!), but any protestant (baptize yourself--it's perfectly legal) can post here. Because just as much as Cupich and the masons, you all are the antichrist and enemy of the Catholic Church, the true faith and priesthood.

That's what happens to men who choose to exalt themselves (like the aryan super men--they worship themselves by making a hero of hitler): he saw versailles when he was 4 and wanted to live there (because he was the sun king). He was a sodomite who worshiped his (crazy) mother (like the AIDS Virus--who's now doing his best to fist bishop olson). He could look at a picture and read someone's character and heart (because only God knows the heart) and see a man sitting by the side of the road and know everything by his clothes [Can just see plinio now 'prayin for the soul' of st francis of assissi]

+Castro Mayer was a true friend to plinio and to anyone who wants to go to heaven. If you truly wanted to do something for plinio, you'd buy masses from the SSPX for his soul and stop worshiping him -- cause every act just makes his (and your own) hell/purgatory worse.

Never. Because opus devil wants to make money or else because like opus devil they are an enemy of the priesthood and the Catholic Church.

"Benedict XVI and Cardinal Sarah have written the best kind of food for the Catholic soul: concise, elegantly readable, rich in substance, and passionately pastoral in its message. Don't be fooled by its brevity: This is an immensely important book not just for priests, but for laypeople committed to sustaining and renewing the life of the Church they love."

Woah buddy, simmer down + take a 15 min break from your post at the Holy Office.
Anyone can Baptize in an emergency like the current
conundrum we inhabit.
Conditional Baptism is recommended if one survives unscathed subsequently.
I'd personally baptize my own child with trad Rite of Baptism until the Covid-19 "crisis" blows over.
It's perfectly legal + only an uninformed Catholic would find this absurd.
God bless
Andrew

@PW: the blog administrator is nice in allowing you to spew your constant stream of garbage. I would not have been so gracious.
