Death After Papal Mass in Philippines

Strong winds at the airport broke anchorages and caused a serious accident.

Tacloban (kath.net/ KAP)   Pope Francis' visit in Tacloban has been overshadowed by a death. After the Papal Mass, strong winds knocked over the moorings for one of the enormous loud speakers that were built at the airport, as Vatican Radio reported. It fell on a woman who succumbed to her injuries later. Philippine bishops assured the local media that Pope Francis learned her name, and pray for them.

Here's footage of Pope Francis leaving Tacoblan in a storm.

Evil omen, like the fireball on St.Peter's dome.....estote parati....

People always die in the Philippines. There's something really stupid and Satanic when you link that death to Pope Francis.

Maybe Fr. Nicholson's right about SSPX and their sympathizers; they're worse than Satanists.

With all due respect, Father Nicholson is a very hysterical man, not that far removed from people who see the devil's horns in the sign language thing, or even incidental gestures people unintentionally make.

Tancred said...

You're thinking of the cornuto, an Italian gesture which is a curse, and suggestion that someone is a cuckold.

I know some people really get comfort from these kinds of things, but they're not rational comforts.... Definitely wicked.

Very true, we must not give in to irrational nonsense. However, the present papacy has, to use that old Chinese expression, "lost the mandate of heaven".

Satanists torture animals and rape children during their "Black Mass" and other Satanic rituals. And I'm not talking about that Anton LaVey Mickey Mouse Satanism, I'm talking about the real thing.

To suggest that the SSPX are worse than Satanists is nothing more than calumny, a mortal sin and an act of irrational and uncharitable hate.

If you honestly believe a Traditional Latin Mass said by an SSPX priest is worse than animal torture and pedophilia, then I have nothing else to say to you, you are most likely a sociopath and need to put in a mental health institution before you hurt someone. If you said that as an ignorant insult, you need to go to confession ASAP. When you feel somebody insulted you, Jesus tells us to speak good of them and to pray for them.

Fr. Nicholson is not in a position to judge anybody. He makes obscene and sexually blasphemous jokes like "Where you checking out my ash?" and "get your ash to church!" amongst other things. Between 50-75% of Novus Ordo priests (depending on the Diocese and anonymous surveys) are homosexual. All matter of sexual perversions (e.g. prostitution, sodomy, pedophilia) are rampant. The Diocese of London, Ontario is notorious for being the worst diocese in Canada, maybe even North America. For a Novus Ordo priest to sympathize with child raping Satanists is very telling, and very worrying considering the plethora of crimes and Vatican cover-ups since the 2nd Vatican Council (e.g. John Paul II covering up Fr. Maciel and the Legionaries of Christ). These comments were very imprudent and are further damaging for the Novus Ordo and for Fr. Nicholson himself.

Fr. Nicholson needs our prayers.

Tancred, it is right that Bergoglio's and Tangle's gesture is different from " le corna", typical Italian gesture. However a religious man, and a bishop, and a Pope, should refrain from gestures that are ambiguous in meaning and are not the common gesture of blessing. And being Bergoglio of Italian descent,
he surely knows "le corna". And how it can be erroneously interpreted. Wave
with your hand, bless people with your hand, but refrain from two fingers up, the others down.

Lunatics are always going to fixate on demonic thing they perceive from the popular culture. If you have a problem with the gesture, contact the American Sign Language Association and tell them to change it.

"If you have a problem with the gesture, contact the American Sign Language Association and tell them to change it."

A very good answer! LOL! Only an idiot would assume the Pope was doing something evil. I don't like Pope Francis one bit with regards to his agenda, but he did make 2 speeches in the Phillipines 100% solidly Catholic and pro-traditional family, anti-contraception. By coming out so strongly for the traditional family, it is hoped that puts an end for some in the Vatican (Forte etc.) in favor of gay unions. They must have been ready to have fits at Francis supporting traditional Catholic teaching.

Not that Francis will do the same come Synod time in October though.

I read on some idiot "Bible Thumper" Christian websites in the USAspreading the message of Pope Francis and the "horn sign", so if peope believe that's what he was doing.......then they are as stupid ignorant as the "Bible Thumpers" born-again Christians themselves.

It's obvious Francis meant to say "I love you" with that gesture, the only people who think its a Satanic symbol are Americans who listen to heavy metal music.

The problem is Francis isn't American, he's the Primate of Italy and Bishop of Rome. The Italian press is gonna have a field day with this. If an Italian Primate of Italian parents gives you that hand gesture, he's calling you a cuckold.

If a Briton gave you the "peace" gesture (palms facing inward) he's telling you to "F off". If an American gives you that gesture he's telling you "Peace" in a Tupac sort of way.

Conclusion: Pope Francis is impulsive and insensitive to other peoples cultures. He's running a global Church with a narrow minded "village priest" mindset. He needs to humbly submit to his PR-men and act more reserved in action and speech.

Arrupe era Jesuits are infamous at playing the diplomacy game. They pay lip service to both sides of an issue, let both of them speak and feel listened to, and then at the end of the day they just do whatever they wanted to do in the first place.

If Francis wants to stay the Traditional path, he'll do so.
If Francis wants to implement revolution, he'll do so.

Francis, in my opinion, will probably introduce ambiguous "pastoral solutions" to divorce and remarriage. If he's rational and not reckless, he'll probably keep the status quo on homosexuals in order to avoid schism.

Anonymous said...

UGH, you're description of Francis as a Pope who plays both sides is very worrisome, but to be fair, every Pope since Paul VI did the same thing. Paul VI was solidly traditional with "Humanae Vitae" etc, but wrecked the Church with all the reforms of Vatican II.
John Paul II was very traditional with regards to morality, and discipline, but wrecked the Church with his innovations and inter-religious gatherings.
Benedict XVI was perhaps the most traditional since John XXIII and Pius XII with regards the liturgy and Papal vesture, but he wrecked the Church with his weakness and resigning, which brought us Francis, and as we all know,
Francis is wrecking the Church.

I don't really care. I'll leave this kind of pointless speculation to others who are more spiritual. There are plenty of things to be critical about without resorting to this non-sense.

Is this website affiliated to Xinhua?
Xinhua concentrated on publishing bad news stories relating to the Philippines, to coincide with the papal visit: "Over 2,000 families evacuated in C. Philippines due to storm..." (18.01.2015); "Seven hurt after plane overshoots in C. Philippines..." (17.01.2015).

The news story came from Vatican Radio.

"Sanctity of life will be held in derision, even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Jesus Christ will send them not a true pastor but a destroyer."
St Francis of Assisi, 1226

I implore all here not to be deceived by this man. He'll throw out just enough orthofoxy to keep the Pollyannas happy. Contrary to what one if the posters said, I seriously doubt Forte is in the least bit worried about the pope's rare Catholic comments. It's all just part of the plan.

Hmm I meant "orthodoxy" , but perhaps orthofoxy isn't a bad description of a Catholic truth from the lips of a fox. Perhaps God prevented my spellcheck from catching that one.

His exact words---from the Vatican insider:

I believe that three children per family, from what the experts say, is the key number for sustaining the population. The key word here is responsible parenthood and each person works out how to exercise this with the help of their pastor. … Sorry, some people think that in order to be good Catholics we have to breed like rabbits, right? Responsible parenthood: This is why there are marriage support groups in the Church with people who are experts on such issues; and there are pastors and I know that there are many acceptable solutions that have helped with this. And another thing: For poor people, children are a treasure, prudence is needed here too, it is true. Responsible parenthood but also recognizing the generosity of that father or mother who see their child as a treasure.
