New Old LIberal Bishop is Worried by the Immemorial Mass of All Ages

The Traditional Mass concerns the new Bishop of Porto, while the abolition of priestly celibacy would "not shock" him.
(Lisbon) On 15 March Pope Francis appointed a new Bishop of Porto. For the first time in recent days, the diocesan bishop has spoken in the media for the first time. Topics included the celibacy of the priests and the traditional rite.
On September 11, 2017, Bishop Antonio Francisco dos Santos of Porto was stricken unexpectedly at the age of 69 by a heart attack. His death triggered unease in part of the clergy. It was urged to change the Apostolic Nuncio, because he was "not enough of a Bergoglian". Only then should the follow-up question be tackled. This did not happen, but the new bishop sent out signals that could satisfy this part of the clergy.
The new Bishop of Porto is Manuel da Silva Rodrigues Linda. In the Autumn of 2013, Pope Francis appointed him military bishop of the country. Francis has now made him the diocesan bishop of Porto.
The exact date of origin of this diocese is unknown. It is certain that in the 6th century it was consolidated under the rule of the Suevs as a stable institution. During the subsequent Islamic rule, information about the bishops of Porto is missing for approximately 150 years. The diocese is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Braga.

"That would not shock me"

The Jornal de Noticias has published the first big interview of the new bishop on March 25th. It is from a video interview taken by editors of the same newspaper and also published.
To abolish the celibacy of priests, the bishop said:
"That would not shock me. In the same way as the norm of celibacy has come, it can disappear again. At the beginning of the church the priests were married men."
Bishop Manuel da Silva Rodrigues Linda was also interviewed on the admission of remarried divorced people to the Sacraments. Various Portuguese diocese have already published guidelines on this.
Jornal de Noticias: Will you also prepare a message about the remarried divorced? How will it comply with the Pope's instructions to integrate these situations in your diocese? Will you follow the Bishop of Braga or more to the Cardinal Patriarch of Lisbon?
Bishop Linda: Pope Francis does not provide any solutions, he initiates challenges. And the process is to scan the terrain, as we experienced in the Synod. It should be a way of study. The road from Braga seems very balanced. It is that couples who find themselves in this situation and want to re-enter the fullness of the Church's life should spend at least half a year examining the reasons why they want to do it, supported by technicians [SIC], psychologists, priests, and other married people [scary].
Jornal de Noticias: If a remarried person feels ready to receive the Eucharist, is such a great therapeutic effort necessary?
Bishop Linda: That is it! We are not just talking about a legal level, but also about the depth of conscience.
Jornal de Noticias: But is that not going to be an even bigger stigma for many remarried people, who already feel effectively stigmatized?
Bishop Linda: There are many typologies among the remarried divorced so that we have to clarify each case and analyze how far it is in accordance with the Church.

Repent because "strict groups were given space"

The new bishop was also asked by the newspaper about the "return" of Holy Mass in the traditional rite.
Bishop Linda: I am very worried because in certain cases it ties up the boys and especially the intellectuals. We do not know why these individuals find satisfaction in these rites.
At the same time, Bishop Linda criticized Pope Benedict XVI because in 2007 he opened the traditional form of the Roman Rite home again in the Church.
The bishop said that the video interview did not make it clear whether he meant it ironically, but what to assume:
"Maybe we bishops and priests should repent because we gave room to these strict groups."

Consecrated Hosts Stolen for Black Masses?

Theft of consecrated hosts: A wrought-iron crucifix was used as a crowbar to break into the tabernacle.
(Rome) Late in the evening of March 22, consecrated Hosts were stolen in a church in the archdiocese of Ancona-Osimo from the tabernacle. The suspicion also falls upon Satanists. The responsible archbishop made the following statement the very next day:
"With deep sorrow I announce the news that on the evening of March 22, 2018 in the parish church of San Francesco alle Scale, unknown hands broke open the tabernacle and robbed two ciboria with the Most Holy Eucharist. This is a terrible act that insults God most severely and deeply offends the heart of our local church because there is nothing more precious in the Church of God than the Holy Eucharist.
It is an outrageous act deliberately committed to steal the sacred species and misuse It for who knows what sacrilegious purposes. Anyone who has committed this act has incurred excommunication, from which only the Holy See, because of the particular gravity of the act (excommunication latae sententiae ) according to Canon 1367 CIC, can absolve.
Our hearts are joined in reparation and adoration to pray for the conversion of those who have insulted our Lord Jesus Christ present in the Most Holy Eucharist. I call on all priests to celebrate Holy Mass this week for the remission of sins and to hold a moment of worship with the community, if possible on Holy Thursday, March 29th. On March 23, at 6 pm, I will celebrate the Holy Eucharist with the local parish in the desecrated parish church and adore  the Blessed Sacrament of the altar to worship the Lord and ask for mercy. May the Immaculate Virgin and the holy church patron be intercessors.
+ Angelo Spina, Archbishop of Ancona-Osimo. "

"The situation is clear"

The archbishop indicated in his statement what some media have stated more clearly: The archdiocese is greatly worried that the apparently, the deliberately targeted robbery of the altar sacrament - otherwise nothing was stolen - could serve satanic purposes. The Corriere Adriatico headline on March 24:

"Breaking in the Church: Black Masses with the Consecrated Hosts"
The exorcist, Don Paolo Sconocchini, shares the same view in an article in the newspaper Il Resto del Carlino of 25 March. The exorcist has no doubts: "The sacrilegious robbery" is aimed at "black Masses at Easter". The Satanists would ape the "Holy Mass but celebrate it backwards." Good Friday and the Easter Vigil are for Satanists the most important moments of the year.

Don Sconocchini is pastor of the Church of St. Charles of Osimo.
"The situation is clear. Since the consecrated hosts have no value for a thief as loot, the perpetrators have a different goal. The Satanists have a teaching that turns our faith upside down. The death hour of the Lord on Good Friday is a moment of joy for the Satanists."

Crucifix as a crowbar

He also said that a wrought-iron crucifix was used as a crowbar to break the tabernacle. The crucifix was badly damaged (see picture). Robbers have their burglary tool with them when they go on a heist. In this particular case, the enemies of the Church are at work who have sacrilegiously planned their crime in detail and pulled it off.

In recent years, there have been no similar incidents in the area.
"But it is an open secret that these groups, committed to the occult, gather in holy sites to celebrate their rites."
Satanism is divided into different directions. Also, the role that Satan plays in the different directions is different. Common to them, however, is the rejection of Christianity and the openness to Satan. This is expressed in their symbolism. For them, the number of the animal is important and positively occupied, the three times repeated "f" (the sixth letter of the alphabet, but also the so-called Nero cross, also known as the death rune, as used by the anti-nuclear and peace movement.

The pastor and exorcist speak of "dark powers that are at work in our time." Every generation has committed sins, but there is a difference "from the generation of our grandparents": "Earlier generations still had a clear idea of good and evil. This distinction is becoming more and more unstable and blurred. "

Church Militant Finds Bishops Don’t Care if Priests Are Sexually Active

Edit: they wrongfully claim they “broke” this story. We reported it days before because we know a guy who reads La Stampa, which broke the story in the Italian press. Anyway, they did good to interview the originator of the Dossier.  What’s especially interesting in all this is that the bishops here don’t seem to care that their priests are broken.

[Church Militant] Francesco Mangiacapra is on a one-man crusade against homosexual clergy in the Catholic Church. After Church Militant broke the news of Fr. Luca Morini's blackmail scandal and the 1,200-page dossier of priestly misconduct Mangiacapra delivered to the archdiocese of Naples, Italy — now in the hands of the Vatican — the male escort has been all over Italian news explaining his motives — while the Vatican remains silent.
"Every time I've informed them [bishops] about the homosexual relationships of priests, their only interest is to know if the priests have been involved with underage boys — as if the only problem is the threshold of the law," Mangiacapra told Church Militant. "A problem that the Church must face is that many of these men [escorts] — either adolescents or adults — are frequently in conditions of extreme poverty and are mentally and psychologically subjugated by those who represent to them a guide, and use this position to take advantage of these men."
