Corona Hemorrhage : Minus 50-60 Percent for Mass Attendance

The Church's corona measures with the month-long suspension of mass and numerous restrictions that continue to this day have led to an enormous bloodletting of believers in some countries.
After the re-admission of public masses, only some returned to the churches. Many have stayed away from them to this day and will probably remain so in the long term.

The Church paid a huge price for their servility with which they followed the governments in the Corona crisis while Pope Francis, who issued the most radical measures, was still cheered.

At the beginning of the Corona crisis, voices could still be saying that people in need were making their way through to the Church. However, they hadn't counted on bishops who would prevent that.

In some countries, after the reopening of the churches, half of the pews and the seats were removed from the houses of worship or locked with all sorts of ribbons and cords and made inaccessible. At best, every second space can be used according to the post-corona openings. But although the capacity has been halved in this way, in many places not even the remaining spaces are filled.

Many pastors have to be happy when they reach this 50 percent church attendance, say reports from Italy and Spain alike. It doesn't look any better in other countries. The fear of infection is only one reason for this. No less decisive is the failure of the shepherds in the corona crisis. They sealed off the church so that it could no longer hold many people. The shepherds also didn't seem interested at all because they were too busy obeying the state guidelines and at the same time denying every spiritual dimension of the virus epidemic. So there was no Mass, funerals only as an emergency measure, no weddings, no confirmations: the total clear cutting of the Sacraments.

The sick have pilgrimaged for more than 160 years to Lourdes to receive grace as a means to recover or to endure the suffering with God's help. However, with Corona, Lourdes has been locked and the pools are today as well. The Church has withheld aid for those in needWorse still: it gives the impression that what brings salvation and blessings is a threat and makes you sick.

No, Lourdes doesn't make you sick, it helps. And no, Holy Communion does not make you sick, it heals.

A Church whose highest representatives convey the opposite cannot expect to be taken seriously by the people. It deprives itself of its credibility by denying its supernatural nature and only presenting itself as a human organization - one among many.

The bloodletting to be recorded is enormous, because the shaking of the salvific reality of the Church is enormous. The Church has closed its gates and locked out the believers. She has given them to understand that the virus is more powerful than God, which is why it is more important to isolate, isolate and barricade oneself. The implicit consequence: Mass and the Holy Eucharist are not so important. Health is more important. The Mass can also be seen on the Internet and on television, if you want.

In California, as LifeSiteNews reported, numerous Protestant church pastors have opposed the Corona measures of California's left-wing government and not kept it. They feel confirmed today. The Catholic bishops, on the other hand, were doggedly trying, like model students, to meet every state requirement. They even forgot to speak out against unacceptable government projects in other areas.

The consequences have been evident since the public services were re-admitted, but the bishops remain shyly silent about it. Church media does not address this bloodletting. They are not talking about the massive gaps that the Corona craze has torn in God's people.

A new autumn has begun for the Church, and once again it is her bishops' fault. And winter is getting closer.

Duluth’s New Bishop-Elect Accused of Sex Abuse and Resigns

[kbjr] Today the Holy See announced that Pope Francis accepted the resignation of Bishop-elect Michel Mulloy, who was appointed the Bishop of Duluth on June 19, 2020. Subsequent to that appointment, on August 7, 2020, the Diocese of Rapid City received notification of an allegation against Father Mulloy of sexual abuse of a minor in the early 1980’s. The Diocese of Rapid City has no other allegations of sexual abuse involving Father Mulloy.

The Catholic Diocese of Rapid City is firmly committed to creating and maintaining the safest possible environment for our children and young people. Its clergy and lay leaders have followed the procedures outlined in the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Charter for the Protection of Children and Youth and the requirements of canon law as affirmed and supplemented by Pope Francis.

Accused Saint John’s Coach Grandson Says He’s Going to Sue Everyone — School District Laughs

Edit: we just read at the Pine Curtain, dated back in July 22nd, that grandson of famed Saint John's University coach John Gagliardi, has been “cleared” by Stearns County Sheriff’s Department, or that they at least have declined to proceed against him criminally. This doesn’t mean the charges against John “Johnny” Benson were false.  Laughably, he’s now threatening to sue everyone he believes has damaged his reputation, after he was accused of sexually assaulting one of his students.

We just wanted to note that Benson was also “exonerated” by Stearns County Sheriff’s Department when he physically threatened a person on Facebook who was drawing attention to his grandfather’s responsibility for the sex abuse at Saint John’s Abbey over many years.  Now he’s looking for another job working with youth!

The school district had already conducted its own investigation which resulted in his resignation.  They also said that any lawsuit against them would be frivolous.

COLD SPRING — A former Kimball High School football coach and teacher who says false allegations of sexual assault cost him his job is sharing his story.

The Stearns County Attorney's Office declined to file charges against John "Johnny" Benson, 27, in May following the county's investigation into what Benson and an attorney describe as "blatantly false allegations" of sexual assault.

"I want people to know that I didn't do anything wrong," Benson said during a Saturday interview with the Times. [LOL]

Bergoglio Advocates Universal Vaccine for Virusscam

VATICAN CITY, August 21, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) ― Pope Francis has backed global elites such as Bill Gates when it comes to a Coronavirus vaccination, saying that it should be “universal and for all.”

In his Wednesday afternoon address, the Argentinian pontiff made his comments in the context of opposing rich countries and people obtaining the vaccine.

“It would be sad if we gave priority for the COVID-19 vaccine to the richest people,” Pope Francis declared.

Archbishop Viganò to Traditional Catholics: Stay and Fight

By David Martin

Catholic Family News (CFN) recently reported that His Grace Carlo Maria Viganò sent a letter to CFN in reply to weighty questions that their contributor Stephen Kokx respectfully posed in his article, “Questions for Viganò: His Excellency is Right about Vatican II, But What Does He Think Catholics Should Do Now?

In his reply, Archbishop Viganò made it clear that Catholics must separate themselves from the conciliar revolution of Vatican II. "No admixture is possible with those who propose adulterated doctrines of the conciliar ideological manifesto," he said, adding that "being living members of the Church of Christ does not imply adherence to the conciliar team."

Viganò demonstrates true pastoral care in saying this since opposing Vatican II enhances our ecclesial union while dignifying the Council diminishes it. According to Viganò, traditional Catholics must remain in the Church while modernists must leave.

“It is not the traditional faithful – that is, true Catholics, in the words of Saint Pius X that must abandon the Church in which they have the full right to remain and from which it would be unfortunate to separate; but rather the Modernists who usurp the Catholic name.”

On that note, Viganò warns against using the modernist infestation of the Church as an excuse to leave the Church. “Let us not give in to the temptation to abandon – albeit with justified indignation – the Catholic Church, on the pretext that it has been invaded by heretics and fornicators: it is they who must be expelled from the sacred enclosure, in a work of purification and penance."

While Vigano’s warning comes as a rebuke to Sedevacantists who leave the Church under the pretext of orthodoxy, it also serves as a mild admonition for loyal traditionalists who abandon their parishes because of the present-day crisis in the Church. It behooves tradition-minded Catholics to hone-in on this point because leaving the parish-church framework over the modern changes is what has strengthened the modernist plan to take over the Church. We indeed must not judge the Church because it’s been “invaded by heretics” but must expel the wrong doers “from the sacred enclosure.”

Stay and Fight

However, this will never be done if we leave our parish churches and attend Mass at independent "side chapels." To win the battle we must remain in the arena. Hopping the ropes is not allowed nor does it edify the church. (1 Thess. 5:11) We must ‘let our light shine before men.’ (Mt. 5:16)

The problem with many traditionalists is not their orthodoxy but the unorthodox way they advance it through independent “side-chapel” worship, since this undermines their own aspirations for the restoration of the Church. If our duty as Catholics is to restore the Traditional Mass and confront the clergy about their efforts to secularize the Church, how shall this be done if we flee?

This only abets the Masonic plan to drive the good Catholics from the Church. Like Christ, we must go in there and expel the wrong-doers and work to restore tradition from within, the reason being it is God's House. The Novus Ordo Mass is valid, despite its many defects, and Viganò would be the first to tell us that.

Foolish Arguments

The argument that we must avoid the occasion of sin. i.e. our parish church, holds no water since the Church also teaches that we may never avoid "the necessary occasion of sin." Christ today is being profaned in His Own House by His Own priests so we do Him no service by leaving him hanging there.

The argument that we 'contribute to the sacrilege' by staying in our parishes likewise holds no water since we are not there to join the jeering crowd but to defend Christ. Who in their right mind would say that St. John and the Blessed Virgin ‘contributed to the sacrilege’ by remaining at the foot of the cross? Their example sets the stage for all latter-day disciples. St. Athanasius and all the great defenders of the Faith have followed this example.

Viganò Praises the SSPX

The foregoing is said in compliment to traditionalists, especially those of the Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX), since their faith and example of tradition are needed in the Church. Viganò in his letter praised the SSPX, saying they “deserve recognition for not having allowed the flame of Tradition to be extinguished," and said he considers Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, the founder of the Society, to be “an exemplary confessor of the Faith.”

The argument that the SSPX does not have “full communion” with Rome is unfounded. If one is baptized Catholic, holds to sacred tradition, and acknowledges the validity of the Papacy and Church in 2020 – which SSPX members do – then they have full communion with Rome, regardless of what Curial bureaucrats might say. It is Francis and his errant “Council of Nine” that need to ‘get back to Rome.’

While tradition-minded Catholics are often accused of disobedience to ‘legitimate Church authority,’ it is today’s modernist clergy that are disobedient to God. Archbishop Viganò reminds us that “obedience cannot be perverted into stolid servility,” adding that “if it is the duty of the laity to obey their Pastors, it is even a more grave duty of the Pastors to obey God, usque ad effusionem sanguinis.”

Vicar General Designate of Initiates Criminal Complaint Against Author of Anonymous Letter Denouncing Him

Diocese of Würzburg: "The reason for this is an anonymous letter to the Episcopal Ordinariate in Würzburg, among others, which, according to its statements, contains completely inaccurate allegations against him."

Würzburg (kath.net) The designated vicar general Dr. Jürgen Vorndran has filed a criminal complaint and an application of legal action after an anonymous letter against him. In addition, the Würzburg Bishop Franz Jung complied with Vorndran's request to postpone his inauguration as vicar general. In a press release the diocese of Würzburg writes: “The reason for this is an anonymous letter to the Ordinariate in Würzburg, among others, which he claims contains completely inaccurate accusations against him. These are currently being checked by the responsible Church and state authorities. ”More details about the content of the letter are not yet known."

Vorndran was just elected dean by the cathedral chapter in May 20. So far he has been pastor of the parish community of Würzburg city center and dean of the dean of Würzburg City.

Corona Deaths in Sweden Far Less Than New York — Sweden Had No Lockdown

[Ice Age Now] “In Sweden, daily corona deaths are now close to zero. The overall mortality rate is in the range of earlier strong flu waves. Even the monthly peak mortality (in April 2020) remained below the strong flu waves of the 1990s.” https://swprs.org/facts-about-covid-19/

“So the graph shows the cumulative deaths in Sweden since March 11?” says reader Penelope. (She’s referring to the graph here.)

“I admit to a preference for graphs showing the daily deaths, as it shows nearly zero.”

Hungarian Habsburg Ambassador to the Holy See Talks About Holy Rosary and Unity Between Catholics Online With Damian Thompson

Edit: Damian talks about the online twitter wars and the unifying role Eduard Habsburg plays on line.

Damian also reveals, as often Catholic-leaning journalists do, their discomfort and embarrassment about Catholic practices and beliefs, like the Rosary.   In fact, I would have liked to hear His Excellency the Ambassador talk more about Hungarian politics and the role the Catholic Church plays in Hungarian society.

Damian would be a much better interviewer if he attended yearly Jesuit retreat and prayed daily rosary with his sister.

Damian Thompson is joined by Eduard Habsburg-Lothringen, Hungary's ambassador to the Holy See. A member of one of Europe's most historically influential families, Eduard explains how his religious practices have adapted to the acceleration of new technologies, and tells Damian how the Habsburgs keep in contact.

Televangelist Skojek Scamming Catholics

No Thanks. I don’t paypig grifty frauds like Skojek.

Edit: who funds this fraud anyway? You?

According to Priests have Become Cesspools of Sin, Holy Skojek, who has a word to say about what everyone else is doing, makes $150,000 a year. Is that what his wife gives him for an allowance? We’ve just assumed that he covets the kind of compensation other nasty Neocatholic grifters like Karl Keating make.

Oh, and special thanks to Frank Walker who keeps an eye on Skojek’s more embarrassing moments on Twitter.
