Vatican tightens catalog of fines for disregarding the corona measures

In the Vatican, the corona measures were tightened without a plausible factual basis. Repression and patronage should continue.

(Rome) These days, Pope Francis, in addition to his usual vaccination propaganda, has for the first time in a year and a half also sounded something different. At the same time, however, he tightened the sanctions for "disregarding" his Corona measures.

The head of the Church has been active as a global vaccine advocate for 18 monthsFrancis follows the worldly guidelines. The genetically manipulating Covid active substances, which have received conditional approval from the EMA in the EU, are propagated without any facts. Anyone who disagrees is verbally attacked by the pope as a “suicidal denier” and his existence threatened.  The moral cudgel is waved in an inappropriate way.

Francis made vaccination compulsory for the Vatican as the first country in the world. Employees who do not comply are threatened with dismissal. He repeated the same about the third Covid injection, the so-called “booster”.

On Monday, Francis spoke, and these are decidedly new tones, for the first time that there should be other methods of combating Corona in addition to vaccination. The reference in his speech to the diplomatic corps referred to the drug treatment that critical doctors have been demanding since spring 2020, but has been rejected by governments that are dependent on Big Pharma. The treatment methods are there and they are very successful. However, big business cannot be made with it and the dependencies that are sought cannot be created. Francis said:

"Vaccines are not magical healing tools, but they represented as the most reasonable solution to prevent the disease, in addition to the therapies that need to be developed."

In view of the blatant ineffectiveness of the Covid preparations, Pope Francis is misleading his listeners, the governments of the world. No one is pushing him to make such statements. Or are they?

Is Pope Francis changing his position late, but is he? Doubts are warranted. The sudden opening up to drug treatments has come with new Pfizer products that, as far as we know, do exactly what the much-maligned ivermectin does and are safer than the Pfizer product. Above all, however, treatment with Ivermectin costs just 12 euros, while that with the new Pfizer product costs many hundreds of euros.

However, the fact that Pope Francis tightened the penalties for disregarding the Corona measures he imposed, contradicts a serious reading. As head and sovereign, Francis presides over two subjects of international law, the Holy See and the Vatican City State. As head of state, he is responsible for the Corona measures that apply in his territory, to its residents, employees and visitors.

So far, Francis has given up the unique opportunity as head of the Church to set different accents than the corona-fanatical governments of the Republic of Italy. Instead, in the Vatican he follows exactly the Italian path and even exacerbates it in some cases.

Parallel to the Italian government, the Vatican also ordered the wearing of FFP2 masks a few days ago In addition, "business trips" by his employees were suspended until February 28. A corresponding decree was issued on January 5 by the Pontifical Commission for the State of the Vatican State, as the government of the Papal States is somewhat awkwardly called. It is signed by Curial Archbishop Fernando Vérgez Alzaga, a Legionnaire of Christ who has been head of government of the Papal States since October 1, 2021.

Since October 1, the Vatican can only be entered on presentation of the Green Pass or an equivalent. This applies to both employees and visitors. Only those who can show a valid vaccination status or who have been officially tested and isolated for Corona in the past maximum six months are allowed to enter the Vatican.

Since December 13, employees who do not have a valid vaccination card are no longer allowed to work. For most of those affected, this means that they must also have the third Covid injection.

"According to the express will of the Holy Father"

The only exception to this are believers who attend Masses. Since March 2021, these have been limited to two morning hours in St. Peter's Basilica. This also applies to the papal parish of St. Anne in the Vatican on weekdays, which, however, is not known to many. And the exception also applies, in an acrobatic construction, to the Wednesday general audiences of the Pope. In order not to have to relax the Corona regulations, but also to allow access for healthy people who do not submit to the absurd Corona dictate, the general audiences were put on an equal footing with the liturgical celebrations of the Pope .

No wonder, then, that there is considerable confusion in the face of such measures. Exceptions apply to the liturgical celebrations, but on Monday a group of pilgrims were refused entry to a mass in St. Peter's Basilica because they were not wearing the "right" masks. The faithful had the usual mouth and nose protection, but no FFP2 masks, which are otherwise generally required.

Also in the new decree, Curial Archbishop Fernando Vérgez Alzaga LC noted in Article 7 that the tightening was issued "according to the express will of the Holy Father".

The Vatican Museums published the new catalog of fines for violations of corona measures. It is aimed at employees and visitors. The 3G rule has also applied to the Vatican Museums since autumn 2021. Violations are punished with:

  • a) Gatherings in public places or places open to the public: 25 to 160 euros.
  • b) If the mask is not worn or not worn correctly: 25 to 50 euros.
  • c) If the distance to other people is not maintained: 25 to 50 euros.
  • d) Failure to comply with the prescribed rules of conduct in public places or places open to the public: 25 to 160 euros.
  • e) Failure to comply with the provisions on access restrictions, movements within the national territory, entry and exit: 80 to 160 euros.
  • f) If the imposed quarantine or restriction of freedom of movement is not observed: 200 to 1500 euros.

However, the supreme ruler of the Papal States, Pope Francis, is the first to not follow the rules, namely none. The regulations do not provide for such an exception, which means that Francis sees himself above the enacted law, which only applies to the subordinates, the infantry, the "popolino", as Italian ironically disparagingly calls the common people.

Two Blows For Pope Benedict: The Death of His Brother and His Household Staff Will Be Placed Under a Commissar

The four Memores Domini, who manage Benedict XVI's  household in a 2014 photograph.
(Rome) Pope Francis places the next community under provisional administration. He appointed a Jesuit as Commisar. In Rome, some speak of a "sneaky" move because it concerns Benedict XVIWhat happened?

On the same day, however, his nine-year-old predecessor surprisingly traveled to Bavaria. Benedict XVI left his chosen retreat in the Vatican Gardens for the first time in seven years to visit his older brother Georg, whose health had deteriorated. The eighth German Pope returned to the Vatican after four days. Msgr. Georg Ratzinger died on July 1 at the age of 96.On June 18, the incumbent head of the Church announced that he would continue to insulate himself from Corona. Francis doesn't want to engage in any foreign travel. All pastoral visits that were already planned or in preparation were canceled without replacement. It is currently unknown whether and when they will take place.

The Commissar for the Memores Domini

Hardly had he returned to the monastery Mater Ecclesiae, that Benedict XVI. received a surprise that is as unusual as it is unpleasant. The Memores Domini Community, whose sisters live with him in the monastery, manage the household and look after him, was placed under the Provisional Administration by Pope Francis.

Bergoglian Cardinal Marto Flies Into Rage That Faithful Want Communion on the Tongue

Cardinal Marto on his first visit to Fatima since the re-introduction of public services.

(Lisbon) After the beginning of the pilgrimage season due to the Corona, Masses were not allowed to take place. Pentecost Sunday also saw the faithful return to the churches in Portugal. For Cardinal Antonio Marto, this was an occasion for a hard scolding of the faith and reproach for those who still want Communion on the tongue.

The government had indicated the possibility of an early opening to allow the visit to the sanctuary, which is so important for the country. However, the Church declined, most notably Antonio Marto, Bishop of Leiria-Fatima and vice-chair of the Portuguese Bishops' Conference. Pope Francis had raised him to the rank of cardinal as the first pastor of this diocese. On the 12th / 13th In May, the traditional start of the pilgrimage season in the Shrine of St. Mary in Fatima could not take place . On the 103rd anniversary of the first appearance of Mary on May 13, 1917, the Marian Shrine was ghostly empty. Thus the morning mist enveloped the valley in gloom.

On May 31, Pentecost, public services were allowed again throughout Portugal. Cardinal Marto gave an interview to the Jesuit order on this occasion. In it he defended the directive by the episcopal conference, which he also implemented in his diocese, to allow only [sacrilegious] hand Communion.

Calvinist Hand Communion as a Measure Against Communion on the Tongue

The Portuguese Bishops' Conference received permission from Rome on October 10, 1975  to dispense in the Novus Ordo of the traditional [Catholic] form of receiving Communion. Since then, believers in Portugal have been able [forced] to receive hand Communion. The introduction was made with the express reference:

"This form of Communion must not be imposed on believers because they have to choose how they want to receive the Eucharist."

Communion according to Catholic tradition is still widespread in the Atlantic country. Some Church groups bump into it and see it as a "backwardness" to be rejected. There is more to the form of receiving Communion, including the understanding of the Eucharist and the Church. In 2000, the Liturgical Office of the Bishops' Conference published a misleading note on the third edition of the Editio Typica des Missale Romanum. It corresponds to a progressive reading, but not the historical truth. It asserted that "the custom of communicating on the knees" and "exclusively in the mouth" was "absolutely alien to the Church" of the first nine centuries and could not be based on a divine, apostolic, or early Christian origin.
As recently confirmed by the well-known liturgist Don Nicola Bux, a personal friend of Benedict XVI, the exact opposite is true. Oral Communion goes back directly to the Last Supper and corresponds to the form in which Jesus Christ himself gave Communion to the apostles.

It is no coincidence that in 2000 the staff member of the Liturgical Office of the Portuguese Bishops' Conference described the new way of receiving Communion as a "real paradigm" that the Second Vatican Council wanted to "promote" through the liturgical reform. According to the words of John XXIII, the author said that the liturgy had to "return to the simple and very deep forms of the Church of the Apostles and Martyrs" and to take them up.

The unnamed author, who was identified as "an employee of the National Liturgical Service," spread the usual progressive narrative, which, however, which corresponds to the formation of legends in key points. This applies to the historical reference, the claim that hand Communion was the original form of receiving Communion of “the apostles and martyrs” and the liturgical reform was an implementation of the Second Vatican Council. In contrast, the statement of a "real paradigm" hits the mark.

"Jesus Didn't Say: Open Your Mouth"

Cardinal Marto follows this line when he is outraged in the interview that believers insist Communion on the tongue. He dismissed this attitude with the words:

“Jesus said, 'Take and eat'. He didn't say 'open your mouth'. ”

The interview was given by the Bishop of Leiria-Fatima on May 29 to the Ponto de Viragem podcast of the Jesuit Order. The cardinal's outrage was sparked by a petition sent by 500 Portuguese priests and faithful to the Episcopal Conference and the Holy See. In it, they request that the ban on Communion on the tongue be lifted. The compulsory hand Communion "seriously undermines the norms of the Catholic Church and the reverence for the Blessed Sacrament," the petition states. The signatories refer to epidemics in the 20th century and H1N1 in 2009/2010, some of which were many times more dramatic and deadly, but which in no way led to a change in the form of receiving Communion. In the course of the H1N1 epidemic, the so-called "swine flu", the responsible Roman Congregation confirmed on several inquiries from different parts of the world that oral Communion should not be denied to any believer.
Critics therefore see the ban on oral Communion of bishops' conferences worldwide as a concerted action that is exploiting the corona virus as an excuse to eliminate the actual form of receiving Communion and making the form of hand Communion, which has only been tolerated since 1969, compulsory.

Accordingly, the criticism of the Portuguese signatories is directed against the Corona measures of the bishops, which are criticized not only in Portugal as disproportionate and excessive.

Cardinal Marto downplayed the relevance of the petition in the interview. The number of signatories is "not very significant". At the same time, he expressed regret that there are so many believers who "question the faith of the bishops".

Francis Celebrates Ad Orientem at Tomb of John Paul II for Centenary

(Rome) On Monday, Pope Francis celebrated the first Mass since the re-admission of public services in Italy - and that versus DeumIt should also be the last to be broadcast on the media due to the Corona crisis.

Among all the measures that have been taken because of the Coronavirus by the Church,  this was Pope Francis' most radicalIn his diocese of Rome he had all services suspended on March 8th and all churches and chapels closed on March 12th. No diocese worldwide has gone this far. After only 24 hours and an impending uprising, the priests rowed backAt least the parish churches were reopened, all other churches and chapels remained closed. The Pope's diocese remained on the most radical path. The corresponding decrees were signed by Cardinal Vicar Angelo De Donatis, who heads the diocese on behalf of the Pope. The cardinal vicar is formally an auxiliary bishop who acts as vicar general. Cardinalatial dignity has been associated with this since 1558. De Donatis indicated that the order had come directly from Francis. No other would be conceivable. No vicar general would take such a drastic and historically unprecedented step on his own. Since the Vatican had hermetically sealed itself at the beginning of March, Pope Francis also celebrated without the people in the past ten weeks Only two or three priests, a religious and an organist took part in the morning celebrations in Santa Marta. In return, the Pope's morning mass was carried over the world through direct channels. The Mass last Monday morning was the last to be broadcast because public services have been allowed again in Italy since the same day.
Franziskus at Sebastian's Altar (St. Peter's Basilica)
The direct transmissions were not concluded from Santa Marta, but from St. Peter's Basilica, namely from the Sebastian chapel. It is located in the north aisle in front of the chapel. The tomb of John Paul II has been under the altar of this chapel dedicated to the proto-martyr, since 2011. The remains of the Vatican Grottoes, the first burial place, were brought to the beatification. The canonization took place three years later, on April 27, 2014.
At the Sebastian's altar above the tomb of the Polish Pope, who ruled the Church from 1978 to 2005, Pope Francis celebrated the last of the morning Masses that were broadcast. The occasion was the 100th birthday of John Paul II, who was born on May 18, 1920 in the Polish town of Wadowice. Here Pope Francis celebrated versus Deum . It's a direction of celebration that gives his House Liturgist, Andrea Grillo, a flush of anger.
Pope Francis had already celebrated at the Sebastian Altar in the past and in each case versus Deum as an alternative to the direction of celebration that was taken for granted in Church tradition, in the direction of the rising sun, towards the returning Christ who would come from the east.

For the first time, however, the celebration was broadcast by the media on Monday, which is why the unusual direction of celebration since the great liturgical reform of 1969/70 was given special visibility. Photos of the celebration were also distributed by international press agencies such as AFP.
The tomb of John Paul II has been under the altar since 2011
It is said that the Pope celebrated "with his back" to the people, as the actual direction of celebrations has been discredited for half a century, because the previous way of things were adhered to. In plain language: There is no "people's altar" in the chapel of St. Sebastian. Another inaccurate claim, because in the past it has been demonstrated many times over how quickly a portable altar can be set up at any location. Pope Benedict XVI had one removed from the Sistine Chapel, where John Paul II usually celebrated. For the Thanksgiving Mass with the Cardinals, his first mass as Pope the day after the election, Francis had it brought back to the Sistine Chapel.

The unusual orientation for Francis  was no tribute to John Paul II. Be that as the people's altar was shuffled into the Sistine Chapel, undoubtedly the celebration versus populum is preferred.

Liturgical gestures by Benedict XVI. paid special attention because Francis knew how serious the liturgical question was to him. The media rush to judgement. Probably for the exact opposite reason of his predecessor.

Gestures that cannot really be classified are an essential feature of the current pontificate.

Don Nichola Bux: "Perform an Exorcism on Saint Peter's Basilica"

St. Peter's Basilica is to be exorcised to cleanse him of the demons. This is the advice of the well-known liturgist Don Nicola Bux for the Santa Marta after the PachamamagateThe counselor and personal friend of Benedict XVI. explains why this is necessary. Bruno Volpe from La Fede Quotidiana spoke with him.
Q: Monsignor Bux, in some pictures you can see the controversial Pachamama not only in the Roman church of Santa Maria in Traspontina, but also in Saint Peter. What do you think?
Don Nicola Bux: "The true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for that is how the Father wants to be worshiped "(Jn 4:23).
"In the Spirit" means that worship is not limited to a sacred place, like the Temple of Jerusalem for the Jews. "In truth" means that it is not contaminated by idolatry or syncretism, something created by our hands. The church is not just a gathering place, but the dwelling place of God among the people. That is why it is called the "house of God." It is the "heaven that descends to earth," the presence of the Lord coming to save. The annual consecration day of a church commemorates this. That is the Catholic identity: if it is lost, everything is destined for collapse.
A sacrilege was committed, that is, a holy place was desecrated or unworthily treated. Sacrilege is a grave sin, says the Catechism of the Catholic Church, especially when it is directed against the Eucharist (CCC, 2120), which is present, preserved and worshiped in the churches. The sacred space helps man not to forget God: If the church, as it has been for several decades, becomes a multipurpose hall for concerts, conferences, and other human protagonism, where does man go to seek God?
The Communists have transformed the churches into ballrooms, gymnasiums, factories, etc., so that the human soul stops in its search for man and stops searching for God. If it is the clergy themselves who put an idol on the throne in caricature of the true God and the work of Satan, then, as the Scriptures teach, the Lord will surely leave the temple, and a cleansing will be necessary to bring Him back.
The temple is a symbol of our soul: if we defile it with demonic acts, the Holy Spirit gives it up. Let us not forget what the apostle writes in admirable words:
"He who spoils the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy and you are" (1 Cor 3:17).
Cardinal Sarah, Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Order of the Sacraments, could perform an exorcism in St. Peter's Basilica, thus purifying the basilica.
