I have heard of "looking on the bright side" but this priest just bonkers.
Wow, who knew that Ioseb Besarionis dze Jughashvili ("Stalin") was such a devout Christian that he killed all those millions of Christians to make more martyrs to pray to! Churches razed and clergy tortured? Why, simply to increase suffering and sanctification! Whatta guy! That these things are a result of the evil persecution and murder of Christians is not a credit to the vengeful tyrant and his bolshevik managers who were cleansing Russia of white Christians. This is yet another glimpse into the reality that Russia is not the "Orthodox Christian" society people are being led to believe, nor did the commie USSR go away. They simply laid low and regrouped, and the state runs the Orthodox church. Sometimes the spin is beyond laughable.
