Saint Michael Movie Premier

A documentary film about Saint Michael the Archangel. Writers, faithful and clergy of the Catholic Church, in the places of revelation and veneration of Saint Michael the Archangel, discover the mystery of the first among the Angels of Light. The testimony of faith, the history of the Church, architecture and art in Christian culture bring viewers closer to the extraordinary figure of Archangel Michael. The documentary stimulates reflection on the reality of the world of the Angels of God and the eschatological mission fulfilled by their leader. The premiere in Poland, UK and USA is on September 29!

Went to the premier last night and I could not help but notice how many times the voiceovers said "worship of Saint Michael" when even the original speaker in Spanish or Italian clearly said "devotion to Saint Michael". In some instances even the Spanish subtitles read "devotion" and not "worship". Catholics, only worship God.

This error is peppered through the movie and also on descriptions of the trailer videos on YouTube. I did notice it is correct on the movie's official website. I just think it was sloppy to not have the script proof read by a Catholic and corrected the voiceover script along the numerous references. It plays into the protestant error of thinking that Catholics worship creatures.

what about old Catholic devotional books? is that a response to the OP or the comment?

I doubt you own any, otherwise, you probably wouldn't be so bent out of shape.

Or maybe even a theological dictionary.

Angels are a theological construct by the Elohist authors of the Torah. Even if they did exist, they would be of no efficacy for human beings because pure spirits can't be imitated or held up as role models.
