President of Polish Bishops' Conference Sounds the Alarm

Stanisław Gądecki, Archbishop of Posen and President of the Polish Bishops' Conference has spoken of an attack against Catholic teaching on marriage and sexuality on October 17, 2015 in the Synod Hall.

Some said that they do not wish to change doctrine, but that is indeed exactly what they are trying to do.

The proposal for a change in the order of the sacraments is in reality an attempt to change the doctrine by the back door.

The intervention of the Archbishop is of great significance, because these attacks had been carefully planned afore time. Additionally the polish delegates can count on the support of other East European synod participants.

The proposal of the German delegation, to give more autonomy to the "local churches" (what's meant are Bishops' Conferences), was sharply criticized by Cardinal Raymond Burke for  LifesitenewsKirche. The Church must declare the truth and this is not dependent upon the time and place, says the Cardinal, who is not a Synod Father.

In view of the desolate situation of German Catholicismleads directly to the formation of national churches.

Changes in the teaching on marriage and the new role of the "local churches" are presently the most heatedly debated themes in the synod. Both poles in the synod --  conservatives and progressives -- are becoming increasingly augmented, as they attempt to promote their viewpoints.

What the German hierarchy is proposing is more political than pastoral. It is almost a carbon copy of the European Union where it's Deutschland über alles. German cardinals will ensure they dictate 'policy' to the future church with Bergoglio a mere mouthpiece, if he isn't already. The Synod fathers, I hope and pray, can see the parallel and will throw out this naked attempt at a monstrous power-grab..
BTW in the last line of translation, might it possibly be argumentative?

Heresy! Blasphemy!

Not between progressives and conservatives, between heretics and Catholics.

If we learned anything from Vatican II it's that nothing needs to be defined or declared. They simply release hundreds of thousands of meaningless jargon in documents the the bishops conferences (which have no jurisdiction in the Church btw) roll out the garbage to every parish and voila, it's now defacto law of the Church. How did alter girls start? They just do it, don't have any permission to do so but then they simply say "we're all doing it already" so you can't change it back now. This is all 100$ pure garbage Jorge is not and was never pope, there can only be one pope and that's Pope Benedict. Come 3 days of darkness and clean up this rotten filth forever.

The Polish Bishops are to be treasured. For some time now, they have stood strong against the heresy that comes from the Bergoglian wolves in Rome. The have rightly diagnosed that Catholicism is under attack and they have made clear they will fight.

That said, I fear they, their eastern European counterparts, and the Africans may not have the numbers to block what Bergoglio has in mind. And even if they do have the numbers, Bergoglio seems determined to wreck the Church in an Anglican way no matter what.

Bergoglio and his desires are a grave threat and I believe we are at or near the time when Bishops like Gadecki and their brethren in red must gather together and demand Bergoglio renounce the papacy and leave the Vatican.

Garbage, show, magazines' covers just like a star, meaningless words or perhaps open heresy, i.e. papacy destruction, wasn't it the reason why he was elected and Benedict fired, was it?. Let's pray, 'cause the worse is yet to come. God bless+

This week should, indeed, be a very interesting week, between the Catholics and the Non Catholics.

Pope Francis is a nightmare! I'd rather have Alexander VI back. He was immoral but at least he didn't dare mess with doctrine.

Ignore the insect Gabriel---he is doing what all good leftists do, as taught them by their Master, the father of Italian Communism and far more lethal theorist that Marx and Stalin: Antonio Gramsci, the father of the idea of changing the culture in order to change everything else in the image and likeness of Socialist Utopianism---what he called "the march through the institutions." Francis is clearly one of them, a willful, ultimately ignorant but very cunning man---the way most leftists usually are. He should be asked to leave in ignominy, but I am not so sure that Benedict is the one to occupy now the Throne of Blessed Peter: he is pusillanimous and caved in before the wolves; may God forgive him and bless him, for despite his cowardice I think he does truly love the Church and Almighty God. Anon 9:31,
Depersonalising people became an art form in 1930s Nazi propaganda media such film and print. Jews especially were depicted a sewer rats and disabled people portrayed as imposts on society. When the Nazis assumed power in legal elections, the people were already softened up for what they were about to do with the sewer rats and social imposts.
People who call other people 'insects' are acting in just the same way.

Back to the point. Maybe you could learn something from Albert Einstein about what is implied in the inability or refusal of some people to distinguish between the core beliefs which are essential and ideology.

Einstein wrote at one time:

"We have forgotten what features in the world of experience caused us to frame concepts, and we have great difficulty in representing the world of experience to ourselves without the spectacles of the old-established conceptual interpretation. There is the further difficulty that our language is compelled to work with words which are inseparably connected with those primitive concepts."

I think that a major challenge for those Catholics who describe themselves as 'Conservative' or 'Traditionalists' is to learn to distinguish between the few core beliefs of the Faith with the theological packaging that wraps those beliefs.

The shining example of an ignoramus is rather Anonymous 3:03 above, who in his blinding papolatry refuses to see (or pretends so, for he is very likely a slimy provoking agent) the attack on the Faith under way today. No one has condemned any popes---it is the likes of Francis who condemn themselves by their manipulation of Catholic sacraments , denials, dictatorial abuses of the Faithful, infidelity, and a myriad of unchecked scandals. Obviously, defense of Francis is more important to such clericalist sycophants than love of the Church and the Faith--- and it gives the lie to the false, long-standing accusations of Protestants that Catholics worship the Pope rather than God. Read, you simpering idiot, St. Robert Bellarmine, Doctor of the Church and world-class Scholar, for his analysis of how it is not only permissible but a solemn duty to resist the pope should he attack the Church or the Faith---exactly the situation we find ourselves in today. And the brilliant Bellarmine is not the only one to put forth this theory, eminently in harmony with reason, with Scripture (Paul did resist Peter to his face over the judaizing question), with common sense, and with Catholic Tradition. All your papolatry will count for nothing at the dread Judgment when you have been defending corrupt, heretical popes who have, of their own free choice, condemned themselves in their clericalist arrogance and itching for novelty. No, "Gabriel," persons who behave like scum are the ones who depersonalize themselves: they willingly tarnish and diminish some of their human nature by embracing error and defending monsters like Francis. If you think you are going to intimidate by pulling out of a top hat the tired Nazi analogy, you are fooling only yourself; the real analogy with Nazis obtains in the behavior of Francis and his gang who squash, in a truly dehumanizing way, anyone who does not agree with their destructive program, as they have already done with a number of faithful bishops (one of them, Livieres, driven to an early grave by the cruelty of Francis the "Merciful"). In the liberals of our day we find, whether in the state or in the Church, the true heirs of both the Communists and the Nazis---two variants of totalitarian, leftist ideology. No wonder the official name of the criminal Nazis was National Socialism. These monsters would have been proud of Francis and his modus operandi. Sine Nomine

Feybriel,

Now you are citing Albert Einstein, Catholic Theologian? You are really desperate.

"I think that a major challenge for those Catholics who describe themselves as 'Conservative' or 'Traditionalists' is to learn to distinguish between the few core beliefs of the Faith with the theological packaging that wraps those beliefs."

1) What are the challenges to the nonconservative, nontraditional Catholics, besides coherent ideas with a relation to reality, obedience to the Magisterium from the time of Christ, the English language or whatever language they speak where theoretically words have meanings, and being able to keep silent once in a while?
2) "Few core beliefs." If they are few, list them-- and I bet they are fewer than the tenets propounded in the Apostles Creed, or even fewer than the Ten Commandments. You probably don't believe in any of the Ten, and we already know you don't believe in miracles.
3) "learn to distinguish..." The implication here is that your Sixth Commandment-hating buddies in the hierarchy know better than conservatives & trads. Dew teaching Pell, for instance? Risible.

There is more to deconstruct in that baseless assertion but I will give others a chance.

Now go and get yourself under control.

Feybriel,

You claimed that JPII stacked his synods. I said name them. Whence the non-sequitur? Don you know what the term means? You thought this a chance to save face again, evidently by distorting the narrative.

Just like you do with anything else you comment on in this blog. Speaking of getting, I think I hear the German and French bishops calling for you to get their coffee.

I would not pin much hope on Polish bishops. Yesterday they published a pastoral letter concerning Nostra Aetate - in full compliance with Bergoglian post-Conciliar idelology. Some quotations:
"Developing the thought of the Council, John Paul II taught that anybody that met Jesus, met judaism also. It implies that the religion of Jews is not an external religion for the Christians but the inner one."
"Anti-judaism and anti-semitism are sins against the love of your neighbour, the sin that destroys the truth about the Christian identity. Therefore, definite condemnation of those sins cannot be mitigated by cultural, political or ideological conditions in which such sins existed in the past."
"After many centuries of foreignness it was not easy to initiate the dialogue between Christians and Jews. The blossoming of such dialogue during last 50 years testifies to deep mental shift among Catholics as well as Judaism believers."
"Therefore, the dialogue between Christians and Jews should not never be regarded as a "religious hobby" of few zealots, but it should infiltrate more fully the pastoral mainstream such as catechesis, spreading the Word of God, pilgrimages to the Holy Land. Awareness of Judaic roots of Christianity allows us to understand deeply God's plan of salvation that began with the chosen people."
"We express our hope that the Catholic-Jewish dialogue will contribute in transformation of the face of this earth (...) The intense dialogue between Catholics and Jews, proclaimed in the Conciliar Declaration "Nostra aetate" truly causes the renewal of our earth, where Christians and Jews desire to testify together to the greatness of God, creation works, dignity of man and his destiny to eternal life."
