13 Cardinals Intervening at Synod Against Kasperians

[Damian Thompson, Spectator] Thirteen cardinals – including many of the most powerful figures in the Catholic Church – have written to Pope Francis telling him that his Synod on the Family, now meeting in Rome, has gone badly off the rails and could cause the church to collapse.

Astonishingly, they include Cardinal Péter Erdö, the ‘general relator’ of the three-week gathering of the world’s bishops, who delivered its opening address a week ago.

Their leaked letter, written as the synod started, presumably explains why a few days ago the Pope suddenly warned against ‘conspiracy‘ and reminded the cardinals that he, and only he, will decide the outcome of the synod.

This is the gravest crisis he has faced, worse than anything that happened to Benedict XVI, and he knows it.

Latest news, card. Scola and Vingttrois denied and backpedaled, now they're 11

susan said...

I thought Scola had testicles....the wheat is being sifted out from the chaff.

And isn't it fitting that there are now 11? Pray they stand through the fire, and that no more betray Christ and hang themselves. Pray for them; Peter's faith has failed (spectacularly!) and he can no longer strengthen his brethren, only tear them down and sell out Christ for way less than silver. Pray for them; that more of their brothers join them, and that soon, as this circus of sacrilege continues (francis has changed 'the rules' yet again midstream), EVERY attendee with even a glimmer of a living conscience walks out. Pray that we're given MEN of God....Beckets, awakened by the slap of Truth and the call to holy duty. Pray that we're given true shepherds who are willing to take on the wolves with their bare hands, at the cost of their very lives if needs be.

Pray for them. God's Will and design will not be thwarted, but men's souls will be lost in their own decisions to 'go against the goad'. 11 is enough for a start...He used 11 for a start. Pray for them.

My God in Heaven, this is reported at http://whatisupwiththesynod.com/index.php/2015/10/12/the-rap-sheet-distinction-between-sin-and-sinner-no-longer-works/ .....

"At the midday press conference organized by the Vatican press office, Father Thomas Rosica emphasized this statement made by a Synodal Father during Saturday’s discussion on the third part of the Instrumentum laboris (while the second part is being examined by circuli minores since Monday morning):
“The distinction between sin and sinner no longer works. ”
This sentence had already been highlighted by the rapporteur in Italian which brought in substance: The differentiation between sin and sinner no longer works because sexuality is an integral part of the person. Father Rosica added: “We must express these things in a new way so that people can understand them. “"

If you truly want to understand rosica, francis, kasper, and the whoooole cabal driving this demonic clowncar, read this:

http://whatisupwiththesynod.com/index.php/2015/10/10/ann-barnhardt-on-the-vast-and-sudden-acceptance-of-the-abuse-of-the-posterior-fundament/

You know she's right.

As I write, four Cardinals have denied signing the letter. That said, these men took their time doing so. I would guess, given the weak backbone of these men, more will deny signing the letter as the day continues.

That said, I do believe the letter was written and was supported by a range of Cardinals. Clearly, there is buyer's remorse with Bergoglio and the cronies he's brought with him. After two and a half years, it seems many have said enough is enough.

While the letter may end up being denied by all, the Pope did speak against conspiracies last week. My reading is this may have been a subtle attempt to encourage early retirement. Suggesting the Church may split and collapse over this issue is shot at Bergoglio's leadership, a lack of confidence that is.

While I don't expect this South American to go quietly into the night, I have, on more than one occasion, thought that a car crash of Synod could prompt Bergoglio to slink off into early retirement if it becomes clear a good position of the Cardinals and Bishops simply lose faith in his ability to govern the Church.

Perhaps the biggest surprise is that Dolan is a reported signatory.

How long till his spokesman comes out and denies?...I can't imagine him being a Becket, but I pray I'm wrong. With God, all things are possible

Fraudulent document concocted by discredited ex journalist. You guys are acting like the Protestants you claim to disdain.

susan said...

Yeah...actually wishing that we had shepherds who uphold the Laws of God and His Church is protestant. Crawl back under your rock gaybriel...and read the Barnhardt piece above; it may help you with much-needed self-reflection.

Anonymous said...

Not Gabriel here. You and your followers are denying your own popes authority in an obscenely disrespectful way.

Anonymous said...

The only obscenity of late is the manipulation of the synod by heretics hell-bent (literally) in changing the Catholic Faith and traitors like Anonymous 8:15 above who absurdly try to whitewash them. The greatest living obscenity is Francis himself: a sinister manipulator of the Faith, of the sacred Petrine office, and of the souls given to his charge. I pray he reflects and repents before his day of reckoning; his soul seems to be, according to his own deeds, in great peril. As are indeed the souls of all who excuse and countenance the destruction of Christ's Church---the real present-day Protestants. RC

He may yet deny signing the letter, but he hasn't so far. This, for the moment, indicates two things for me. First, there is enough discontent with the Pope that he feels comfortable having his name attached to something like this. Second, he's positioning himself for a future Conclave. Is something up?

Anonymous said...

Before the rooster crows, you will deny me 3, 4, 5 times and counting

Anonymous said...

Robbie is exactly right. Dolan, being the two-faced politician that he is, must sense that the situation for Pope Francis is serious enough that he could sign something like this, and maybe position himself better for when/if a more orthodox Pope is elected. Maybe as a way to start making up for the LGBT fiasco in NYC he caused.

A further sign of this is the actually quite good (for him) column he posted today on his blog. http://cardinaldolan.org/index.php/inclusion-of-the-new-minority/

Barnum said...

Fr. Rosica, at first blush, seems to be introducing a theory of predestination, perhaps unwittingly, he or whoever told him to say this doesn't think these things through. If the sinner is the sin, then there is no need for any baptism, or any other sacrament for that matter. One can only suspect who the elect will be.

Again the fundamental, in my opinion, dishonesty of Fr. Rosica saying "We must express these things in a new way..." should be stated "We must express these new things in a way..."

BTW Re Dolan: He has restored my faith, and I am sure that of many others, in him a bit. He could have sat on his hands. I see no reason to believe his signature was not sincere. Now if he could just clean up his act a little more...

Barnum said...

Calm down, you don't need to panic. Who was obscene on this page? And did not Paul "disrespect Peter to his face?" Do not these Princes of the Church have the obligation as well as the right to make known their concerns?

Here is another thought to put staunch your hysteria and you at peace: the Church splits (not that I want that personally). You NewChurch guys get to keep the Vatican, the gold, the museums, the vestments everything your little hearts desire. You get to make the rules, preach to the choir about First World concerns, and push people around. Your flock will consist of the majority of First World Chanceries, personnel of Catholic charities and others living off the Church, and have an average age of 70. Have a good time the rest of this life, you don't seem to believe in the next. Not

What fiasco? Dolan's escorting Rocca around St. Pat's 2 days later.

Rocca sits on the board of the Inner City Scholarship foundation.

He was MC of the gala in 2012. Here he is in 2007 talking about the children he sponsors: "The students that I sponsor, I correspond with (is that the only contact?). And I believe them when they tell me in their letters that they and their families are overjoyed that they have a chance to go to school in a safe place where they are actually learning. It is so cut and dried to me. Sorry, I am sounding so kind of shrill about this, but to me it is one of those things that is black and white. I mean, I hope for the best for the public schools in New York and I am glad that they are getting better, but it just seems wrong to tell a parent who doesn’t want to send her (no dad?) kid to a public school that she just doesn’t have an option"

You might not know Mo and his bros all hail from DC where they went to Jesuit G'Town Prep: Rocca spent his formative years … at the modest (poor) family home in Bethesda, Md., where his mother (where’s dad?) still lives… the middle son, Lawrence, who is director of development at Georgetown Prep high school in Washington [now moved on to a Jesuit college]. Francis, the eldest, is the Rome bureau chief for Catholic News Service. ... [now WSJ Vatican correspondent]

Do you or anyone who read this blog think that open sodomite Rocca didn't receive communion at the NY mass? Do you think he don't get communion every week? All of you so concerned about this synod when week after week you sit in the pews while divorced and remarried, fornicators and sodomites not to mention protestants receive communion. Your bishops are liars but you are too! And what's more children continue to be sodomize (probably as the Rocca bros themselves were).

"”I am single now…. Some of [the men] get run over by a cab leaping towards me…. I will say that I love Provincetown. I think that they’re smarter there…. I shouldn’t start a war between the two islands….I’ve only been [to Fire Island] a couple of times, but my experience is that a lot of the guys there, they combine desperation with ruthlessness. And it’s just not a winning combination…. Whereas in P-Town I just feel like the guys are much more comfortable in their own skin…. you’re much more likely meet a really cute dentist from Minneapolis — and that, to me, they’re really hot!” http://www.metroweekly.com/2011/07/popular-satirist-mo-rocca-pref/

Rocca should meet Ricca and Skorka. Maybe he can live part of the year with Francis the merciful and these 2 buddies of his in the Hotel St. Martha.

During the last 3 years I've come to realize just how infested with sodomy the Vat 2 church is. If I had known how perverted so many prelates are, especially high ranking ones, I don't think I would have ever converted.

That is only 13. What are the other 206 Cardinals doing?

Anonymous said...

Karl Rahner Jr., you might want to rethink your cyber name and choose another one. It is rather ominous for you to choose an arch-heretic's name, perhaps the single individual most responsible for the dismantling, theologically speaking, of the Catholic Faith of the Ages in our times. Or are you assuming that name to provoke as taunting, bored teenagers do? If so, please know you do not provoke me---aside from provoking the deep sympathy one should feel for confused, lost souls. How about "Defenestrator of Prague" or John Knox? All the best, RC

There are about 115 cardinals all up. 70 are at the synod.

Don't worry about the masculorum concubitoribus perverts. They will soon receive their eternal reward. The infiltration (sic) was part of the Masonic plan of the last 100 years to destroy the church from within, they have reached their goal of having their man in the top job getting the world ready for the antichrist. Don't worry, stay true, to the remnant Catholic church, it is the only place of safety from what must come before Jesus returns to clean up the mess: the one world religion and the antichrist.

Not concocted my friend, even Dolan has acknowledged his signature. If 13 were fearless to sign, how many more cardinals are there who agree with the letter but don't have the proverbials to publicly state their disapproval of this gerrymandered farcical synod on everything except the hard working god fearing decent family unit?

Tancred said...

Has a reputation for dishonesty and heresy.

Anonymous said...

Many evil men (and women) have "reputation, credentials, and identity" [whatever that last absurdity may mean], which does not mean they are good or have the Faith. The sour-faced Rahner---as is typical of the joyless aged heretics of his ilk---was a destroyer of Catholic theological orthodoxy. And you, deluded soul, do not know me while most of us do know something about the heretic Rahner. Go find a better cause than defending a "credentialed" destroyer of the Faith of Christ---and in the process learn to spell "heretic" (perhaps you lack credentials). RC
