The highly combustible materials that were present in Notre Dame, pre fire, will not be used in the restored Cathedral. It should be pretty much fireproofed.
Considering that "Michelle" Obama just happened to be sipping wine on a boat floating down the Seine, watching the cathedral burn, it appears that it was deliberate and planned.
And other times, you see fuzzies running around the scaffolding just minutes before one of the most ancient shrines in Christendom is engulfed in flames.

Could have been one of the myriad of dead anti-Catholic pilots or by bored members of the Proud Boys on a European History/ Culture Tour.
Or, it could have simply been a spark from a welding rod or an electrical fault.
