Is that Nun who served John Paul I his nightly tea still around?
Yes, she is now known as Yeehaaww the shrill and very challenged anti-vaxxer.
Eh. Stale response.Do better.
Benedict's offering back in 2007 was nothing more than the gesture of a very weak minded bishop to a small noisy constituency in the Church whose problem with the Novus Ordo was not the vernacular itself but what it stood for, namely the Second Vatican Ecumenical Council which finished the work of Trent and pronounced its work had been done. The Latin Mass Industry members won't accept Vatican II as the work of the Holy Spirit and the 2800 bishops who wrote its documents and interpreted them.Th followers of the 1570 have difficulties with the Incarnation, the meaning and nature of the Church and the implications of their own Baptism.Never too late.....

Where are the colored bits, Lionel? Might be worth a look because the rest of what you bucket out is a load of nonsense. God doesn't give a hoot about tinkering with figments of imagination and corrupt neo-scholastic abstractions.
Pope Francis didn't do this because he wanted to achieve unity. He doesn't concern himself with the Eastern Rites (though he had some oversight over them in Argentina) nor the complete lack of unity in the Nervous disOrdo rite which he barely mentions. He really knows very little about this matter. He barely knows the players. He knows of the FSSP because they're down the road but has never heard of the ICKSP which has a huge midwestern presence. Jones thinks the movement is run out of NY and presumably by Jews. He sees a connection to Bayside when, in fact, it was the Latin Mass Catholics who were on to that fraud as well as Medjugorje long before him.Jones paints adherents to the TLM as Libertarians and Neo-cons but fails to notice that they have felt unwelcome and left. Tom Woods got nowhere with his Austrian economics and no longer writes for The Remnant or CFN. With Jeffery Tucker, he tried to launch a magazine called The Traditionalist; an attempt to decouple traditional liturgy from Catholic Social teaching. It folded before you could say Dominus Vobiscum. H.W. Crocker III was run out of the movement for his war mongering. Countless have left because they can't find any Zionism to go with their Bagels & Lox after Mass. And, yet these heterodox people can all find a home within the Nervous disOrdo along with George Wiegel and many other enemies in the Culture Wars.Jones also fails to recognize any supernatural effects of the Mass. E.g: When people join the movement, they stop contracepting. When they leave, they do things like Tom Woods: dump your family and marry a hippo. There are none so blind as those who refuse to see and Jones still thinks he won his debate with Michael Davies over the SSPX. I wonder why the SSPX gives that DVD away free.Speaking of the SSPX. Contrary to Jones, they are not celebrating. They see this as a multi-front war and, while they offer a refuge, they don't want everyone over in their camp. This arrangement is not something that makes them comfortable and they don't want it to be permanent.Jones is full of surprises. We know he supported Trump because of American First but how many know he voted for Obama over Romney because of Mideast policy and a belief that Abortion wasn't an issue in the campaign. It was infuriating at the time, but in retrospect, it hardly matters. So, I encourage people to watch the video. Despite his ignorance in some areas, he does reveal a few gems we can agree with. You might even come away thinking that this showdown is a good thing.
Spot on, CarsonLinda
@ Carsten Rückriem "Jones is full of surprises. We know he supported Trump because of American First but how many know he voted for Obama over Romney because of Mideast policy and a belief that Abortion wasn't an issue in the campaign. It was infuriating at the time, but in retrospect, it hardly matters."Voting for the rabidly infanticidal Barry Soetoro (selected by the Pritzkers, big Jews of Chicago) constitutes a mortal sin against the Fifth Commandment, and gives a glimpse into where Jones is really coming from. As for Michael Matt of Moldy Catholic Leftovers, others have long ago observed his blind spots https://mauricepinay.blogspot.com/2010/11/remnants-conspicuous-blind-spot.htmlWas Jewish money ever donated to the Remnant, to keep it afloat? Then, there this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_sRMJeG5GDg&t=125sThus we have two additional data points to support the thesis that no one is trustworthy in the arena of monetized Catholic publication, and that using Opus Dei as its cloak and dagger, the Global Synagogue has captured every corner of Catholic media.

I read that this document by Francis was rushed thru, signed, and posted and made applicable immediately because some people in the Vatican who should know and leaked it, say that Francis doesn't have especially long to live. He's not going to die next month, but he's declining.I don't wish anyone ill health etc., but I would not be surprised if Francis isn't here by Easter, either resigned or the other, more final outcome. Who will repalce him is the big concern. I don't think it will be a Francis cardinal. Even some of them don't like his policies. I think it will be a Benedict XVI pick. Certainly not a JP II one. :)Damian M. Malliapalli
Gladstone:Do you think Romney would be better then Obama on abortion?Everyone else: Quit paying attention to this shit and get your vaccine like Shawn Hannity
Typical Obama strawman argument: Some of my opponents believe that it is alright for school children to bring assault rifles to school and shoot each other during recess. I respectfully disagree.EMJ statement on the liturgy. These folks believe all we have to do is return to the Latin Mass. I've never believed it was that simple.
Q: July 23, 2021 at 9:55 AMGaybrielle:Quit your heresy.Cut the sodomy.Get to confession.Escape hell.
9:55 is not Gaybrielle. It’s Rhoda cutting and pasting her replies on liberal blogs.
Maybe I read too many Catholic blogs/websites, but there's a report that Bergoglio(aka Francis) and the VAtican cancelled his celebrating a special Mass for the elderly(grandparents day) which was scheduled for Sunday. The Mass was planned months ago, and up until 1 day ago, Francis was still scheduled to celebrate it."No cause for alarm" per the Vatican. They blame the cancelation on Francis having to wear Mass vestments. Yeah, right. I believe that just like I believe that there is no migrant crisis on the border, BLM activists are peace-loving non-racist people, and Covid-19 is a figment of everyone's imagination., and that Kamala Harris is actually doing her job and isn't a bitch.HAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!They said that about poor John XXIII when he lay dying (claimed he only had a stomach virus), and denied JPII's PArkinsons for 10+ years.Francis isn't doing well.... or not as well as expected. The curtain's coming down. End of story. :)Damian M. Malliapalli
@ Ron Stapleton:Thank you for the correction, and I guess that the question "Do you think Romney would be better then Obama on abortion?" warrants an answer, which is the following:the comparison is completely meaningless. The political prostitute from the left offers exactly zero substantial contrast to the political prostitute from the right. Both are selections made by semi-secretive operators from the Global Synagogue and presented to the gullible goyim, who for their part seem invincibly impervious to the reality that the plan for them is that they be first swindled and slandered, then slaughtered (cf WJC member Jacques Attali's comments about fake pandemics vaccines, stupid sheep and the slaughterhouse). So that would be a "no."
Jones is out of his depth and out of the Catholic Church. He's all talk and no trousers.
Jones should stick to the religion he knows the most about: Judaism
Jones is out of his depth on Judaism too. He works out of stereotypes, distortions and projection, to say nothing of his diseased mind.
E.Michael Jones. Very Little Sympathy for Traditional Catholicshttps://catholiccritique.wordpress.com/2021/07/24/e-michael-jones-very-little-sympathy-for-traditional-catholics/
Very good. Saw that earlier
That’s you, Gaybrielle. Anyone who thinks Jews in the classical age are comparable to Talmudic schmarters from the Pale really is out of his depth.
Gladstone:I’ve basically despised the Remnant for years. The whole thing got started in the first place when the American Bishops decided they didn’t want to own companies and wanted the laity to handle things like Catholic goods, publishing and journalism. We got newspapers like Der Wanderer out of that.
Thanks for that contextual information, Tancred. I hadn't known the circumstances of their origin.
John Henry Weston had a good program recently on the subject outside the Church there is no salvation. He can now work for creating unity in the Catholic Church. The Society of St. Pius X(SSPX) accepts extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS) with exceptions and the St. Benedict Centers(SBC) accept EENS with no exceptions. Both groups are Catholic. For the SSPX, the baptism of desire(BOD) and invincible ignorance (I.I) are exceptions for EENS and for the SBC they are not exceptions. If you discuss this issue with either of them they will go into their specific theology, defending the founders of their communities. How can we create unity betweem these two groups ?One of them has to be wrong on doctrine. The SSPX will cite the present two popes who project the BOD and I.I as exceptions to EENS. The SBC will cite the past popes, many of them, who did not project BOD and I.I as exceptions to EENS.Now after Vatican Council II(1965) and the Fr. Leonard Feeney case in Boston (1949) we know that there are no physically visible cases of the BOD and I.I in our reality. We cannot see or meet any one saved outside the Church with BOD and I.I. So BOD and I.I could not have been practical exceptions to EENS in 1949 or 1965.Someone made a mistake. It was only be confusing what was speculative (BOD and I.I) as being non speculative and objective, that practical exceptions ( visible cases of being saved with BOD and I.I) were created for EENS.In this way the past ecclesiocentrism of the Church was made obsolete.Ths is the point that John Henry Weston, Editor in Chief at Life Site News, must bring out in questions and discussions with the SSPX and SBC.It will have a direct bearing on how he personally will interpret Vatican Council II.Will LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA2, GS 22 etc in Vatican Council II be exceptions for EENS or will they not be exceptions, for him ?Is Pope Francis rational or irrational on Vatican Council II ? What does he think? - Lionel Andradeshttp://eucharistandmission.blogspot.com/2021/08/john-henry-weston-had-good-program.html
Eighty two years back Pope Pius XII allowed doctrine and dogma to be changed in the Catholic Church in exchange for peace and security. He did not defend Fr. Leonard Feeney and allowed the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 to say that unknown cases of the baptism of desire and invincible ignorance were known exceptions to the centuries old strict interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS). EENS was based upon the Bible teachings in John 3:5 and Mark 16:16.So the New Theology was outside the Church there is salvation. This meant the teachings on ecumenism, other religions, Social Reign of Christ the King in all political legislation and exclusive salvation would have to change. The Zionists could be present in 1960-1965 at Vatican Council II.The Church had surrendered. Then non Catholics were allowed to be professors at the pontifical universities in Rome, beginning with the John Lateran University. In 1949, the time of surrender, the popes Benedict, John Paul II and Francis were young. They became cardinals in a Church, which was separated from the State because of a change in doctrine in 1949.Now if that doctrine is restored to its original, with a rational premise, we have an ecumenism of return, 16th century EENS, the Social Reign of Christ the King in all political legislatioin and the non separation of Church and State based on the there being exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church. So the priority would be that all be formal members of the Catholic Church to avoid Hell.It means we do not not reject Vatican Council II but re interpret it in harmony with the pre-1949 Catholic Churh. We undo what was lost 82 years back. The Council is no more an ally of the liberals. -Lionel Andradeshttp://eucharistandmission.blogspot.com/2021/08/eighty-two-years-back-pope-pius-xii.html
