Edit: no mention of the horrors of transitioning, the drugs, the procedures which destroy young lives and end bloodlines. There were thousands of ways he could have gone to throw some light and offer a guiding light to his sheep, but instead, we get anemic calls for “an end to gun violence,” and the usual empty and pro-forma statements written by marketing firms. 

How about calling the Archdiocese to prayer, and days of fasting and reparation to atone for this sacrilege? How about a procession your Lordship?

We get the shepherds we deserve, I suppose.  Imagine if Skojec had gotten ordained and became a Bishop, that would have been horrible!

My heart is broken that instead of shepherds, God in His infinite mercy has given us these +McCarrick protégés.

[Catholic Snooze Agency] Archbishop Bernard Hebda, who leads the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, released a statement following the deadly shooting that took place on Wednesday morning at Annunciation Catholic School in southern Minneapolis.

“My heart is broken as I think about students, teachers, clergy and parishioners and the horror they witnessed in a church, a place where we should feel safe,” Hebda wrote in a statement Wednesday afternoon, hours after police confirmed two children were killed and 17 injured in the shooting.

Hebda expressed gratitude to Pope Leo XIV, who sent his condolences to Hebda after the attack, and all those around the world who have offered prayers following the shooting that occurred during a Mass for the K–8 school early Wednesday morning.
