Cardinal Burke to Celebrate Immemorial Mass of All Ages at Dissident Basilica

Edit: this is positive news, but perhaps not the way one would hope for, but certainly unexpected.

Cardinal Burke is going to celebrate the Immemorial Mass of All Ages at one of the worst dissident aberrosexual parishes in North America.

Will he have to reconsecrate due to the sacrilege of the Basilica Block Party, and the presence of artwork by an advocate for sexual deviancy? Stay tuned.

Date: September 19, 2015
Time: 10:00 a.m.

Location: Basilica of St. Mary, Minneapolis Minnesota

Maybe he'll reconsecrate the desecrated place.

I, too, wondered how this event managed to come about. I'm surprised the rector of the Basilica approved this.

I wouldn't be surprised if the dissident crowd that attends the Basilica staged some sort of protest or disruption during this event. For those of us men in attendance, we should be at the ready to remove any dissident shenanigans that might take place during the Mass....I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if something was attempted.

Gays are gross!

For those of us in the upper Midwest - road trip. We need to be prepared to protect the sanctity of the event.

Hopefully this would never happen here, but we should be prepared.

I understand that this has been canceled. It was announced by our Priest this morning at Mass, as we had intended to charter a bus.

Yes, that's what we also understand.

Has anyone heard the reason for the cancellation? I was told that Cardinal Burke decided to cancel because he thought that would be "prudent". I can't help but wonder if there were threats of protests coming from the gay crowd of the Basilica
