Bishops Find “Synod” Tiresome — Bishops Storm Out

Edit: no word about why the bishops were storming out. 68er Bishop of Luxembourg thinks it’s all OK, just part of the process. (Finding out who they need to neutralize later?)

[NCR] It was less than two weeks into Pope Francis' high-stakes Vatican summit on the future of the Catholic Church when multiple reports emerged about participating delegates storming out of the room.

In one case, a bishop didn't want to be photographed sitting next to a priest with whom he had numerous disagreements. In another, a cardinal believed that the Oct. 4-29 Synod of Bishops was a misnomer because it now included the equal participation of the laity — a criticism that has reverberated throughout the monthlong meeting.

The incidents weren't exactly a surprise, as the roughly 450 bishops and lay delegates taking part in the assembly had been warned by one of the synod's principal organizers that tensions in the room would emerge.

Furious Nun Tackles Eco-Terrorist

Edit: seems to me there’s a way to accommodate the protesters and the project. The nuns could plant, nurture and cultivate the endangered plants with the help of the greenie whackos.
Horrid Matisse Chapel

Initially, I thought this was a net positive thing, for who would expect a traditional Catholic basilica constructed by a NO religious society? What is proposed has been under construction since 2017, and these Eco-nuts have been trying to prevent it for some time. It looks surprisingly Catholic!

I’m sure the local villagers and the Eco-nuts wouldn’t object to some horrid Matisse chapel that the aberrosexual literati gush about, or a brutalist Death Star, but it seems a lot of the objections to this project come from a substantial number of local sans coulottes in the village, who hate everything that looks, sounds or smells Catholic.

So, these nuns of the Missionary Family of Notre Dame are doing something beautiful, even if they resemble Maryknolls 🤮.

[New York Post] A French nun was seen tackling an environmental protester outside the construction of a new religious center in what quickly became a viral online video.

On Saturday, members of the eco-group Les Amis de la Bourges, which is translated to friends of the village, attempted to protest the building of a new religious complex in Saint-Pierre-de-Colombier.

The construction was surrounded by a group of nuns from the Missionary Family of Notre-Dame forming a human chain around the area to stop the activists. AMDG

Israelis Bomb Christian Children’s Hospital

Edit: no one question this base act! Remember, the Apostles also used trebuchets on hospitals, so it’s ok!

Locked & Loaded

Eucharistic Procession in Manhattan

Edit: there were quite a few people at the processsion from Old Saint Patrick's.   It looked pretty pious and traditional.

Of course, there are Jewish voices at America, like Simcha Fissure, who have to question the motivations behind the thing, and give a hearty nod to the deeply manipulated abuse issue where aberrosexual and usually leftist clergy, abused their power for the sake of their endocrine system, and probably for more nefarious reasons as well.

At least she’s writing for America now. That’s where she belongs.

Other people are a lot more positive about these demonstrations of Catholic devotion.
