The Society of St. Pius X (FSSPX) has announced that it will ordain new bishops on July 1, 2026.
The Society of St. Pius X tried to obtain the approval of Rome, but the need was not met. Father Davide Pagliarani, Superior General of the Society of St. Pius X, refers to the words of Monsignor Marcel Lefebvre - State of emergency in the Holy Catholic Church.
