Hebda holds forth at evil Interfaith Service

Minneapolis-St. Paul Archbishop Bernard Hebda, although he’s a rotund mincer, didn’t mince words: prayer is ok, “but it’s not a hall pass for political inaction,” says Chris. In other words, he doesn’t want a free people, and doesn’t want them to defend themselves from Globohomo tyrants which he certainly represents. Chris is enlarging on the theme, but Archsihop Hebda gave a little speech at St. Mary’s Basilica, the community’s gay centre, and home to the usual elderly left-wing boomers and a few perfunctorily Catholic yuppies during an “interfaith” “prayer” service. 

It has been noted that there was a tiny vigil at Annunciation last night. But rather than a fake interfaith prayer service with lady rabbis, why not a procession and a call to prayer and penance of Southwest Minneapolis’ lukewarm and heretical population?

How does Hebda promote the Globohomo, you ax? In the  aftermath of Wednesday’s massacre at his archdiocese’s Annunciation Catholic School, Hebda hosted an “interfaith prayer” with heretics, pagans and Jews.  With the usual marketing message that prayer “doesn’t absolve us” from taking steps to prevent the next church shooting, he urged his community to confront both the prevalence of gun violence and the mental-health crisis head-on.

Anyway, we know that these bishops and these affluent boomer Catholics 🏳️‍🌈 and their materialistic children GLBT 🏳️‍⚧️ probabaly aren’t really Catholics, but it bears some reminding that things like Hebda’s fake and ghey Interfaith ™️ event have been condemned by Councils, Saints and Theologians. We’re not talking about post-conciliar “Saints”.

 * Council of Laodicea (c. 365 AD): Canon 33 of this council famously states, "No one shall join in prayers with heretics or schismatics." This decree reflects a firm stance against sharing in the formal worship of those outside the full communion of the Church.

* The Apostolic Canons (c. 4th century): Canon 45 of the Apostolic Canons states, "Let any bishop, or presbyter, or deacon that merely joins in prayer with heretics be suspended, but if he has permitted them to perform any service as clergymen, let him be deposed." This demonstrates the severity with which the early Church viewed such actions, especially for the clergy.

 * 1917 Code of Canon Law: This pre-Vatican II code was very strict on the matter, clearly prohibiting Catholics from taking part in non-Catholic worship. It reflected a period of the Church's history that was highly defensive and focused on clear lines of demarcation.

Were the Catholic Saints any less emphatic?

* St. Cyril of Alexandria (d. 444): A fierce opponent of Nestorianism, St. Cyril wrote and fought to preserve the Church's teaching on the nature of Christ. His zeal for doctrinal purity extended to warning against association with heretics, as it could lead to spiritual harm. He is famously quoted as saying, "It is therefore unlawful, and a profanation, and an act the punishment of which is death, to love to associate with unholy heretics, and to unite yourself to their communion."

 * St. Thomas Aquinas (1225-1274): The Angelic Doctor, in his works, distinguishes between formal and material heresy. He upholds the principle that one must avoid the active participation in the rites of heretics, as it can cause scandal and can be a sign of a lack of faith. He also taught that "to know whom to avoid is a great means of saving our souls."

It is also intersting to note that the Robert Westman's mother was employed by the school, while his AWOL father seems to have been employed by the CIA. I understand that in the past, the family attended a conservative NO liturgical parish that offers a “reverent” Novus Ordo in Latin, if a reverent NO were ever possible!

And, as if to mock the wayward shepherd of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, Hebda and his failure to teach the Catholic Faith, this Mohamedan was recently arrested for shooting and severely wounding one person and killing a 55 year old Polish American man in an failed attempt to carjack in rural Kandiyohi, Minnesota.

Will Hebda preach against his masters at the DFL who impose these merciless Saracens upon the hapless Swedes and Poles of Minnesota? Even tell us that the brown pedophile worshippers are God’s punishment?

Will Hebda address the threat posed by Islamists and other groups who wield guns, machettes and hammers against the people of God?

Breaking two days ago: Black gunman named “Bino” opened fire at Jesuit outsourced education outlet, Christo-Rey in Minneapolis and kills one. The media is trying to make it look like white people did it.  We don’t know of a specific statement about Christo Retconned.
