Nationalism is a mortal sin. It was recognized as sin by ancient Judiasm as it is recognized by the Catholic Church today. Nationalism is a sin of Pride and false worship of the Nation as Devine. It is an excess and corruption of the Virtue of Patriotism. Patriotism is Love and duty to your people in all things just. Nationalism is Love of your Nation at the expense of the other nations and people.
