I stopped listening to the video after Jones told a caller that he should not attend an SSPX Latin Mass. Why is Jones so against the SSPX? He probably attends the Novus Ordo. Though he makes money from trads, he not a traditionalist. Jones is right about a lot of things, but his arrogance betrays him.
Maybe Jones wants nothing to do with the SSPX because they have not fully taken the step he has into sede vacantism. The sons of Lefebvre are still trying to some extent to make a place under the same tent as Pope Francis.
He used to be very pro Opus Dei even though he thought their lifestyle wasn’t for him. Then, he learnt Spanish and went to Argentina to try to figure out how Bergoglio got so fucked up. Remember, Jorge used to say the Jews were shit (mierda). He came away thinking that OD were managed opposition and promoters of Americanism and usury. Then, he turned on OD “puto” Gary the fairy Voris. The only Opus Dei personality who will talk to him today is Fr. Jeffrey Langon
As far as liturgy is concerned, he just doesn’t care. He’d be happy to go back to the TLM as much as he’d be happy to attend a NO that was cleaned up. Given the value of the body of his work, I’m glad he didn’t get bogged down in liturgy wars. We have enough people writing about it.
And, if you’re so upset about OD, why don’t you look into Taylor Marshall and Steph Skojec?-
