At first I was shocked at all the gayness and predatory behavior I saw in Orthodoxy… then I became angry because people kept saying it was a refuge from that.
Most of the Orthodox commentators I've encountered in com boxes have always been arrogant, self-rightous pricks who have always looked down their noses at Catholics. They'll any silly thing to attack us. Well, I wonder if this will take some of the wind out of their sails!
The Orthodox Church (Churches, actually), is a decentralized Confederation with titular heads. What happens in one diocese or whatever is declared as truth in one diocese does not apply to other. For practice or Truth to be declared acceptable, it requires a hurch Council to adjudicate. One additional point is that the Russian Orthodox Church is broken away from Constantinople, and is a separate Orthodox Church with Moscow as the head.

So they're pretty much prots with valid orders and cool aesthetics, but still outside the One Holy Catholic Apostolic Church.
