 Tue Mar 15, 2022 - 1:01 pm EDT

VATICAN CITY (LifeSiteNews) — Pope Francis will consecrate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the Vatican announced on Tuesday, following an appeal made by the Ukrainian Catholic bishops.

In an announcement released March 15, Matteo Bruni, the director of the Holy See Press Office announced:

On Friday 25 March, during the Celebration of Penance at which he will preside at 17.00 in Saint Peter’s Basilica, Pope Francis will consecrate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The same act, on the same day, will be carried out in Fatima by His Eminence Cardinal Krajewski, Apostolic Almoner, as envoy of the Holy Father.

March 25 is the feast of the Annunciation. No further details were provided about the consecration, but the message was repeated on the Pope’s official Twitter account. LifeSiteNews has contacted the Holy See Press Office for further information.

  1. Except THE Pope's not gonna be doing the 'consecration'. Gee, what could go wrong?

  2. Susan nailed it. Canon 332.2. The Berg-Bag is scraping the bottom of the barrel of his illegitimacy.

  4. The consecration must be done by an actual pope.

Popes must be Catholic. As a pertinacious and public heretic—indeed the most public heretic in the history of the world—Jorge Bergoglio is manifestly not Catholic. (Baptism is a necessary but insufficient condition of Church membership; one must also hold the actual Catholic Faith (see Mystici corporis, Pope Pius XII)). Jorge Bergoglio’s pertinacious and public heresy has automatically (ipso facto) expelled him from the Church and thus the papacy (assuming he ever held this office at all). Thus Jorge Bergoglio is not an actual pope. One cannot be the head of a body of which one is not a member.

Bergoglio isn’t pope, and not because of any electoral irregularities. He isn’t pope because he isn’t Catholic.

Note that no juridical authority is needed to come to this conclusion, any more than one need be a traffic judge to recognize the reality of one speeding at 100mph in front of his face. The later conviction by the traffic judge will simply be a legal recognition of the actual fact which already occurred. Similarly, any future legal declaration regarding Jorge Bergoglio’s anti-papacy will simply be a ratification of the current reality spitting in our faces daily.

It’s time to accept this reality, no matter how uncomfortable.

  5. Let's hope and pray Pope Benedict will make the consecration on the same day and at the same time together with bishops in communion with him e.g.Archbisop Lenga. That way we might get our miracle and Russia may be converted.

  6. Just why would the Argentinian delegate his authority on something so serious?
