Bishop Schneider Calls Out the Rabid and Unjust Aberrosexual, Voris

[Gloria.tvBishop Athanasius Schneider commented on the fact that “from various sides,” the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) has been made a target of attacks in connection with cases of sexual abuse (LifeSiteNews.com, December 3).

In fact, it is only one side/website which attacks the SSPX, i.e., ChurchMilitant.com while constantly complaing that no Catholic website is jumping on that bandwagon.

[reading ChurchMilitant.com] Schneider received the impression as if the SPPX were "the only Catholic religious organisation which had to respond to such accusations.” Schneider also notices that it cannot be dismissed that some of the accusations [by ChurchMilitant.com] were conducted "in a biased manner.”

He underlines that in all dioceses and religious communities around the world there are shortcomings in investigating cases of homosexual abuse, maybe to the same or to a greater extent, and he warns [ChurchMilitant.com] that one cannot hold the SSPX responsible for crimes which members or employees committed AFTER they parted company with the group or were dismissed.

In this logic, Schneider explains, the Augustinian order would be responsible for the anti-Semitic statements of Martin Luther, their former member. [Of course, these kinds of statements are as unhelpful as they are absurd.]

  1. I don't bother with "Church Militant". They are neo-con. They complain about Pope Francis, were beyond hysterical about Pachamama (which was justified), and begin every episode with a "Hail Mary", but if Voris and Company are against the SSPX, which is truly Catholic, and instead would rather be loyal to the Novus Ordo BS and Vatican II, then they are nothing but a bunch of hypocrits. At least EWTN is lately more Catholic than even before. I think the late, great Mother Angelica had something to do with that....deciding to air the TLM on EWTN.

But Church Militant is just a lot of noise. If they are not for the TLM, they are not worth the time.

(By the way, I read that Voris at one time was actively gay. He's probably close to 60. I saw a picture of him recently in just a t-shirt. He obviously works-out like a bodybuilder...and I should know because I do it myself). But I've seen older guys like him in the gym pumping iron and flexing muscles when they're 60+. I'm 32 and I work out, but I don't stand there and pose. These guys do.....but at 60+, rather than impressive it's kinda disgusting, because the sagging muscle tone/ aging skin is anything but impressive. And most of the guys who do that at 60 and over, are gay.
That's what Voris reminded me of when I saw his picture. Gross.

  2. Why would his Excellency stoop to respond to Virus & Budgie Niles?

  3. Dave I would say to lend his weighty voice to a society that he feels worthy of defending. I'm grateful he chimed in on the matter.

  4. Considering he investigated them for the Vatican, it’s not surprising he felt the need to say something.

  5. A big thank you to Bishop Schneider. I stopped going to Church Militant quite awhile ago. I thought they were hypocrites after they ignored Simon Rafe's involvement developing filthy video games. They have one standard for themselves as they preen as the guardians of morality. I don't trust them any more. And I promoted them at the beginning. Today they seem to revel (like the secular media) in the philosophy of "If it bleeds it leads." Whether it's true or not seems to take a back seat. The bigger the scandal the more money comes in I suspect.

  6. I like Michael, but he's like a dog with a bone about the sspx. He should just leave them alone now. It's like some personal vandetta with him. And he needs to stop.

It's not doing any good. And no one at CM will stand up to him because he doesn't want to hear the message ,so they want to stay employed.

Michael has a hard time forgiving others who do particular types of wrong. That's my sense anyway.

We need to pray for him/ CM because they can be a great force for good.

  7. On another note, Tancred, how are you doing? Is your strength back to normal. We of course are concerned for you,old chap. You gave us all a bit of a turn there. Would you mind doing a short update on your recovery from C.virus 19?
    Thanks.

  8. What wrong with the SSPX? Obviously, anyone in their right mind knows that isolated reports of abuse at the SSPX do not represent the SSPX no more than Obama/Biden represent America or infested Vatican Curia represents the Catholic Church. We have to be on our guard against prejudice.

  9. Voris has had it out for the SSPX long before he began finding and embellishing, exaggerating or misattributing abuse to the Society.

  10. I'm hoping that Voris will one day treat Opus Dei with the same tenacity with which he treats the SSPX. After all, Opus Dei has had it's share of sexual abuse problems, but to my knowledge, Voris has never investigated them. Not ever. Why is that, I wonder?
