11th Century Romanesque Church in Flames

Edit: built in the 11th century, Saint Martin Church in Plascencia Spain is on fire.

Now who would want to burn a church?

  1. Maybe one of the survivors of the Catholic bombing of Guernica 1937 ?

    1. War is Hell, but every degenerate boomer I’ve ever known has a shitty print of this painting somewhere in his house.

    2. Not likely. ETA declared a ceasefire 10 years ago and attacks have ceased to such a point that immigration has increased in the Basque Country.

  2. That did not happen in Palencia, but in Plasencia. The difference is that Palencia is in the region of Castilla, whereas Plasencia is in the region of Extremadura.
