++Marx’s Archdiocese Suffers Record Defections

Is it the Bergolian Tax-Church they’re leaving after all?

.- A record number of people left the Church in the German Archdiocese of Munich and Freising last year, a local statistical office said Tuesday.

The Munich statistical office told CNA Deutsch, CNA’s German-language news partner, May 26 that 10,744 Catholics formally withdrew from the Church in 2019. It noted that this was a fifth higher than in 2018, when 8,995 people left.

Statisticians said this was the first time that annual departures had surpassed the 10,000 mark since records began. Previously, the highest figure was 9,010, set in 1992.

  1. And the 1992 figure was from a much larger pool.

  2. This might sound mean-spirited, but this is great news. I have been reading for months about the Catholic situation in Germany. The more these radical Bergoglians try to impose their will, the more faithful Catholics rebel, either by protests and traditional demonstrations of Faith (which we know infuriate people like Cardinal Marx and other radical Beergoglian liberals), or unfortunately they quit the Church.
    I do know that several million German Catholics have quit the Catholic Church since Vatican II, many to the SSPX or other groups, some to no Faith, and a few to Protestant Churches (which have suffered even more massive declines). But the rate of defections in Germany, and across the board in every country including the USA seems to have increased with the election of Pope Bergoglio and the pushing of his agenda and his like minded people. In Italy, the just announced decision to commemorate the 5th anniversary of Bergoglio's "Laudatio Si" encyclical with a celebratory year has been met with contempt, derision, and sarcasm by the vast majority of Italians. Only his tiny core of radicalsupporters applaud it.
    So don't be surprised by these declines. Most German Catholics are not the radical liberal Catholics they have been painted as being in the CAtholic press. They hate the agenda, and even the person, of Cardinal Marx, and by extension Bergoglio. As long as the later reigns, and the former is in office, the declines will only continue to grow.

  3. Some might remember when a Vatican official said it was ok to leave the Tax-Church and remain Catholic, but Marx and his coven responded quickly and affirmed that people who leave the Tax-Church will be excommunicated and won’t receive the health care, burial plot, retirement care for the elderly and so forth, that are paid for by the Church-Tax premium.

    Yes, Damian, most of the several million German Catholics who have left the Church since Vatican II did so by dying not opting out.
