Vatican Has Detained Diplomat Because of the Possession of Child Pornography

(Rome) The Vatican press office yesterday announced that the Holy See had arrested a member of its own diplomatic service on suspicion of possession of child pornography.
On August 21, the US Department of Foreign Affairs informed the Vatican by diplomatic means that the suspicion of infringement of the legal protection clause against child pornography could have been violated. The violation, according to the note, could have been made by a representative of the Washington-accredited Diplomatic Corps of the Vatican.
As is the case with diplomatic practices, the suspected diplomat was immediately withdrawn and is currently awaiting further investigations in the Vatican.
The information from the US was handed over to the Vatican's judicial authorities, which initiated investigations. The Vatican promoter iustitiae, comparable to a public prosecutor, has now turned in an international appeal for assistance to the US.
The Vatican press office has recalled that all investigations are subject to the presumption of innocence.
"The former apostolic nuncio for the Dominican Republic, Monsignor Jozef Wesolowski, was the first prisoner in the Vatican because of the possession of hundreds of child pornography pictures", said Europa PressThe former Vatican diplomat, who denied the allegations, was removed from office by Pope Francis in 2013 and charged. In 2014, he was laicized according to surveys of the Congregation of Doctrine for the Faith. He was not arrested due to his health, but he was placed under house arrest in the Vatican. The trial was discontinued because Wesolowski died in August 2015 at the age of 67.

  2. The same news as associated with Fathers Geoghan and Shanley which set off the Boston Globe investigations. It is looking more and more like predictions of the Third Secret. The Vatican has become little more than a gay culture. Pedophilia is nothing more than a temporary blip for which the perpetrator is forgiven. Modern science now states that pedophilia is an addiction much like that of alcohol or heroin.----The entire system is rotten and John Paul II saw it coming and could do nothing to stop it. He was then shot for his efforts and made a saint to placate the thirst for justice. The devil's disciples then went out and promoted one of their own as predicted in the writings of Malachi Martin who based all of his research on one premise. The premise was his reading of the Third Secret.

  3. John Paul II saw nothing coming. I remember clearly. He was caught by surprise when US bishops requested Vatican intervention. His incompetency overlooked all the heretics and sodomites. All these university professors and future heretical Popes and hierarchy, he, John Paul II put in, was because of his incompetency. For goodness sake! CARDINAL KASPER AND all the heretical st. GALEN Cardinals were there in the Vatican doorsteps away from him and he couldnt tell the difference between a heretic and his other neocon friends.John Paul II was not a model of goodness himself praying with indifference at Assisi and Koran-kissing.John Paul II apologized to all religions. The Orthodox came in last...They complained that they were the only ones left out. And then he did it for them too. It was the Patriarch of Moscow [or his representative] who said:"you asked us for an apology. But you have never apologized to your traditionalist brothers. What dies it mean? Before you come to us you should apologized to them. If you want to make peace with others, begin by making peace with those in your own family first." And then John Paul called in the SSPX.And he changed the Rosary to include dayglow "luminous mysteries", even though Mary when she asked us to pray the rosary, she always meant it to be 3, not 4 sets of mysteries.

    1. So he's not a saint? Do you know better than the Church in these matters? Are you a protestant?

    3. Cannonization is not always infallible. Especially if done with shortcuts and political motive. Is Bishop Romero's pseudocanonization quedtionable? Was it not political and objectively used to stain anticommunists? It was a true fact that Romero was killed. But was he a martyr for the Church? I think not. It was used as a "Matthew Shepard" moment. To create leftist martyrs. Perhaps you are protestant? The purpose and conditions for a Pope's sanctity is his building up and defense of the Church. His humanism is whatthe liberals and neocons used to measure his alleged sanctity. The alleged canonization of Woityla is questionable not by dogmatic or doctrinal considerations, but from the objective material/factual standpoint. Protestants question the Church from a dogmatic standpoint. Traditionalists question the Church Actions (not dogma)by acknowledging and holding hierarchy and persons accountable to the dogma.

    4. Ok. We'll depend on your opinion from now on when we all want to know who is or is not a legitimate saint. Where did you learn Catholic theology from, a protestant university?

  4. A solution I'd like to suggest would be no canonization until at least a period of 50 years has elapsed since death.
