Müller: "All Elements of the Lived Faith Have Collapsed"

Rome (idea) - Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller - until the beginning of July Prefect of the Congregation of the Doctrine and the Faith - has drawn a dramatic image of Christianity and the Catholic Church in Europe. "All the elements of the faith lived, the popular piety, have collapsed", he said in an interview with the Italian daily "Il Foglio" (issue 21 July). All of Europe is in a "process of forced de-Christianization, which goes far beyond simple secularization." Man is defined "strictly without God and without transcendence." In the Catholic Church, participation in ecclesiastical life, the spread of faith and the new vocations of priests and religious, has greatly diminished. Müller warned the church not to waste its powers in internal struggles. According to him, "so-called progressives" seek victory, "persecuting all so-called conservatives". The 69-year-old was Bishop of Regensburg from 2002 to 2012, and from 2012 to 2017 Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine and the Faith.

  2. Well, Duh . . . .and, of course, not a syllable toward suggesting that this is the 50 year fruit of the Council and its aftermath. And we also know that he cooperated with it every step of the way - the best evidence: his miter and red hat.

How do these ecclesiastical geniuses think the collapse occurred? Spontaneous combustion?

    2. Mercer nails it: now the good kardinal can tell us what we've been seeing with her own eyes and shrieking about like madmen for decades.

But he can be one of us now, having his red hat and its title.

All of them worthless, absolutely completely through and through, worthless

  4. Tell us something we don't know! Faithful ones have been sounding the alarm for decades now: from the time our Mass was taken and a protestantized ligurgy given in its place to the cover-ups of abuse, the lack of catechesis, the jettisoning of faithful men from seminaries, the infiltration of sodomites and on and on and on. YES, the practice of the faith has collapsed everywhere!

    1. now Muller has less to lose...when you ain't got nuthin you got nuthin to lose. He could still lose his red hat. But I think Cardinal Muller knows that Pope Francis was elected by illicit votes by de-facto excommunicated cardinals who violated the conclave rules. He's working on exposing them.

  6. If Müller wants to help he should learn the TLM ASAP, buy a cappa magna, and go around the world celebrating high profile pontifical Masses like Cardinal Burke does. This would be more spiritually edifying and give more prominence and force to his words. Enough with these stupid interviews.

    1. Being from St. Louis, I am a big Cardinal Burke fan. Sadly, he is well under control. According to "One Peter Five", he was sent to Malta to stir up manure by our Holy Father. The target was blackmail and over 40 million Euros from the Knights to "solve" the issue. You have to literally "give the devil his due". ------This was a very clever strategy which only the devil could orchestrate. You just cannot fight the devil with Holy Water. It takes a supernatural intervention as prophesied in the Third Secret. We are mere mortals and "the devil walks at high noon" instead of at midnight.

  10. A necessary cleansing of the Church via chastisement. God knows exactly what HE is doing. We earned what we now have and so the true Church will be a remnant very shortly. Of course, we know how the story ends and who has already triumphed. So we needn't lose heart: God is in charge. Thank God.

  11. The New Mass was put in place by Masonic Cardinals as predicted by Jesus to the Stigmatist Julial-Maria Jahenny....There will be a Warning and if not heeded, and probably won't be from the predictions of Saints, a Fire Chastisement after which renewal of the Traditional Catholic Church for those left.....
