The Conversion of 1,000 Jews: What Does the Neocatechumenal Way on the End of Times and What Isn't It Saying?

Domus Galiaeae on the Mountain of Beatitudes in Palestine
(Rome) Among members of the Neocatechumenal Way it is being spread around that after a meeting of Jewish rabbis with Kiko Argüello, founder and president, several rabbis and more than a thousand Jews have come to Christ's message.
The message was made public for the first time on 22 December by an entry on a Spanish-language Facebook page of the Neocatechumenal path "Soy del Camino Neocatecumenal". For a better understanding: Founded in Madrid in 1964, the Neocatechumenal Way is recognized by the Catholic Church as a spiritual community and is canonically established as an independent foundation with a legal personality. The leadership position is for life on an equal footing  between the three founders, the two Spaniards Kiko Argüello and Carmen Hernández and an Italian priest, Don Mario Pezzi.  The Neocatechumenate is understood by its own account, neither as a movement nor as an association, but as an "instrument" of  parishes to lead those who've strayed back to Christ. According to the website, a million Catholics belong to the Neocatechumenal Way worldwide, which maintains almost 100 seminaries and is active with 25,000 communities in 800 dioceses.  A criticism repeatedly directed at the Community are its  "pseudo-Jewish" special rites. The Neocatechumenal Way provides contacts to Judaism as part of its mission. Designed by Kiko Argüello and  finished in 2000 is the branch Domus Galiaeae, on the Sea of Galilee in Israel, has been previously visited, according to their account, by  more than 150,000 Jews.

The message

A certain Elias Bautista wrote on 22 December on his personal Facebook page and the Facebook page "Soy del Camino Neocatecumenal":
"I've discovered that the supreme head of the Neocatechumenal Way (Kiko and Carmen) have just met with an important group of Jewish rabbis: who among other things, (the Jews) have recognized Our Lord Jesus Christ as the true Messiah, and in turn, (the Neocatechumenates) informed that we are living "at the end of time" (not the end of the world), and that we must prepare ourselves, therefore, for what comes. But ... the Neocatechumenal leaders have decided to keep the secret,' and it is only among Kiko's Neocatechumenals ... that it is publicized ... Why? I don't know. This is a very serious sin .... I want them to come to their senses and that Our Lord gave them the distinction with respect to the need to share the information of this important, unique and anticipated event."
Yet Elias Bautista has received no reply. So he wrote on January 2 again on the "Soy del Camino Neocatecumenal" Facebook page:
Domus Galiaeae and the coming of the Lord
"I have just learned that more than a thousand Jews have converted to the Catholic faith and accepted Our Lord as their Messiah after they have met with Kiko and Carmen. That's a great message! These rabbis have alerted the Neocatechumenal leadership that the Parousia is very close:. The return of our Lord is really close  but ... Kiko, Carmen & Co have decided to reserve the message only to the Neocatechumenals. The good news however, should be disseminated and known in every corner of the planet, either among Catholics as well as among non-Catholics! This is a serious omission on the part of the Neocatechumenal leaders. Bad for them!"

Confirmation without denial

Domus Galiaeae: main entrance, domed hall, library with special space for the Torah surrounded by Council seats
The administrator of the Facebook page confirmed in its response on January 3, the prohibition to make the news public. Neither the conversion of a group of Rabbis and the "more than a thousand Jews" nor the supposedly imminent "end of time" has been denied by the administrator. This presupposes that all members have been informed within the Neocatechumenal Way.
"Brother Elias, the peace of the Lord be with you. If you belong to the Neocatechumenal Way, you should have already had   the reason explained by your catechists why this message is not to be used in the social networks and the mass media. Now it is so. I'll explain: Although it's a nice message, and many of us are very pleased and moved, because it is a great mercy of the Lord who has enabled this whole event, the fact is that not all people in the world would accept God's humble and reasonable message.
In the world there are always people who want to judge and criticize, and not be constructive, and also there are extremist groups that could act in the wrong way. All of this [not to make the message public is the decision of the management of the Neocatechumenal Way] is not something you decide lightly. It is also an inspiration of the Holy Spirit, as Mary at that time had concealed His message. That is why we invite you, do not be discouraged, but rather to uphold your spirits and pray so that at the appropriate moment, this message will be made public in an appropriate manner.
With best wishes, peace "

What does the Neocatechumenal Way know and conceal from  others?

Domus Galiaeae on the Mount of Beatitudes
But "Brother Elias"  himself was dissatisfied with this answer and wrote again on January 4:
"There's always some excuse for cowardice, inertia and isolation. [...] The world must be prepared for the grave implications which are indicated because this is the greatest message of all time: We know that what comes before this grandiose event, will be horrible and terrible and whoever is not be ready, will fall into the clutches of Satan! I insist, and I repeat: It is a serious omission. The blood of that will be drawn will fall upon all members of the Neocatechumenal Way, I assure you! "
An answer has not yet been written. What does the Neocatechumenal Way know, which all the others, including the Church do not know? Already the construction of the Domus Galiaeae was associated with End Times prophecy, according to which the Neocatechumenal Way is expecting the return of the Lord on the Mount of Beatitudes. An extensive, symbolically charged building complex of an unusual style, which is difficult for the outsider to decipher.
The Community was critical in Osservatorio sul Camino Neocatecumenale doubting the news that a group of rabbis, and more than a thousand Jews have converted to the Catholic Church.

  1. The Neocatechumenal Way is not Catholic.

Why would only 1000 converting mean the "end of time" is coming? All Jews have to convert before Christ's Second Coming.

    1. I am surprised to read the article promoting Neo-cat agenda on this blog. "Among members of the Neocatechumenal Way it is being spread around that" Kiko Arguello (a megalomaniac promoting heresies and quoting Talmud when preaching his "kerygma") is a prophet of the End of time and Carmen Hernandez (the blasphemer claiming publicly that the Heaven named her "benedicta in mulieribus") is a saint. It is a sect that develops and spreads only because of the tremendous crisis of the hierarchical church. If the situation was normal, Kiko would be in one of hermit orders and Carmen would work with "lepers" in Africa.

    2. I have no idea how this blog is promoting NC. Giusepe Nardi, from whom the article originates, has been critical of the doctrinally challenged Kiko in the past for his judiaizing, among other things.

  2. I know Sean O'Malley and Uncle Teddy McCarrick (in Cuba w/FatBerg & Mafioso Cuomo) are big w/this neo-cat group. I would think it is some Egyptian cult that worships the devil and have absolutely nothing to do w/it (of course, TM was placing these cats in seminaries and ordaining them and placing them in parishes while not even telling anyone who or what they were).

"The encounter was presided by the Archbishop of Philadelphia Charles Chaput. Also present were Cardinals Sean O’Malley(Boston), Stanislaw Rylko (Pres. of Pontifical Council for the Laity), Theodore McCarrick (Archbishop Emeritus of Washington D.C.), Jean-Pierre Kutwa (Abidjan, Ivory Coast), and Andrew Soo-Yung (Seoul). More than 30 other bishops also attended."

My take is they don't want anyone to talk to these Jews because one would find out they haven't converted to Catholicism at all-but kiko & kookie (like bergog) have converted to Judaism and no longer call Jesus Christ the Messiah but are expecting the Messiah's FIRST coming w/the Jews. And have designed a heliopad for the alien space ship.

    1. Yes, he's also close to another (supposedly "conservative") "ecclesial community" called Communion & Liberation. See this.

  3. What a load of bunk. First of all the computer graphics and tag line are only recognised by the Novus Ordo anti-Church. As for the rabbis - the are working-towards/waiting for Antichrist. Antichrist is the moshiach of Rabbinicalism. As for your average Jew for Jesus, when they give up the 'jew' bit and just become 'for Christ', then maybe the in-gathering will be happening where in Christ there is neither Jew nor Greek..'

    1. I'm probably going to start closing comment sections.

    2. I know why, but explain to your standard demographic why.

Meanwhile blasphemy, lies, antichristness and all the confusions wrought thereof are 'fair play'. But as a baron of blog, you of course self appoint your authority.

Eternal Father, please look to the Blood of Christ, poured out on Golgotha, and offered up by the few priests of the Eternal Order of Melchisedek, keeping the unadulterated altars of Our Lord Jesus Christ...have mercy on us.

    3. Sedevacantists like yourself are wrong as often as they are stiff necked. Every post is another opportunity to beat your drum, irrespective of the subject of the post or just plain old reality.

Sometimes I think your exclamations of disbelief, of despair and anger are important because you are, after all, real people, probably real Catholics, who've been betrayed by the people in charge, and are pointing out that something is wrong, terribly wrong, but all the same, when you seem to fall into despair, become mechanical and needlessly quarrelsome, I tend to think some dark thoughts myself, but I try to be constructive, and offer more food for thought. Whether that comes in the form of a story about Catholics being mirdered by Muslims in sub-Saharan Africa or the heroic resistance or real Catholics in China to the Satanic Communists in power there, I hope eyes are opened beyond the usual rat cellar most people in your shoes fall into.

    4. Mr Tancred, I did read your thesis on Catholicism...blaming it on Truth...only to regress into protestantism.

      Which no Pope ever did.

    5. As usual, you veer off into irrelevance. I have no idea what you're talking about.

    6. I hold the sedevacantist position BUT not dogmatic in regards to current situation. If SSPX is someone's preference,it's not my place to condemn them. Its my wish EVERY type of Roman Catholic who disagrees with changes since the early 50's would acknowledge each other & untie.People argue or are nasty to each other because they disagree about the title of the masonic-esque uncatholic men in Rome since the 1964.Seems to me they want us at each other's throats. We are catholics and in my opinion need to stop using terms such as 'sede' R & R' 'Material Formal'. (Yes I realize I typed being 'Sede' but that was to explain myself)

    7. Since 1964? That's your problem right there. People's ideas should correspond to reality, not one's convenience or as a justification for an evil course of action.

It's funny because sedevacantists have been around a long time... orthodox schismatics, the flagellants, for example.

People like this are a problem because they're so busy fighting with gnats, they miss the whole point, and they won't shut up about it, which is why so many of them were burnt at the stake back in the day, and why so many of them eventually wed their fanaticism to a militant form a anti-social egalitarianism.

    8. I say 1964 as this is a year most catholics can agree upon.Personally I believe the trouble started in 1951 with the Easter Vigil being transformed and changed.
Secondly,I consider myself a Roman Catholic who obeys the Council of Trent.(Session 7 Canon 13 if obeyed by Pius XII,John 23rd,Paul VI,etc..would've prevented this current maelstrom)
So,do you think I should be burned at the stake for attending a chapel that obeys the pre-1950 traditions including our priest who has pre-June 1968 holy orders?
Not being sarcastic, just very curious if I'm part of the problem?
Once again not being rude or sarcastic.

    9. Whether or not most Catholics agree upon 1964 as the actual date or not I don't know, but I do know that's not when things began.

Heretical clergy at the University of Tuebingen refused to sign the Oath Against Modernism, and what did St. Pius X do to them? Nothing. They were allowed to go on as before, much as heretical clergy was allowed to perpetuate itself all over the Western world by dominating universities.

I haven't taken much of a census myself, but it wouldn't surprise me if most of America's Bishops were material, if not formal, heretics c. 1860.

    10. I agree with you and just stated the "official" trouble began in 1951.I said 1964 as that's a year most can agree upon.Nothing more nothing less,I know it was going downhill long before 1951.

    11. Most of the major figures in American Catholicism were Americanist heretics by 1890. It's why Isaac Hecker and his ilk prospered.

  4. Maybe that if they have converted a whole of Jews they are afraid of falling foul of Cardinal Koch's recent document on relationships with the Jews which says no institution of the Church should try to convert Jews!

  5. Any one had a recent conversation with an Israel-fU-Jesus-diplomat? Or a moham FU jesus diplomat? A khurd -FU- Jesus diplomat?

They have a three second 'respect' that turns to FU Give me what satan wants or else.

  6. Thanks for this info. It's interesting, indeed. I live in the DC area, and over the years, I have come across the Neo-cat priests, and I must say that have real faith in the co-redemption, the meaning of suffering joined to the Cross. I am in no way endorsing them; but I have seen and heard their preaching.

Personally, I think we are quite near the end of times, but not the end-time...

    1. "and I must say that have real faith in the co-redemption"

To quote Tancred: I have no idea what you're talkin' about.

However, what about these 'cats' (and yours for that matter) faith in Jesus Christ as their ONLY redeemer, i.e. the Messiah?

  7. "Personally, I think we are quite near the end of times, but not the end-time..."

    (a) why should anyone care? (b) what is the difference?

    1. Because, people need to get their lives in order.Yes that applies in any time and/or any era.
However,if it's the last days,we have limited time to prepare for eternity. One thing we like about our priest (Roman Catholic priest not novus ordo) is,he preaches repentance and detachment from the world. Its a blessing to not hear about "crisis in the church" and the latest Jorge Bergoglio castatrophe every week.I understand we may disagree but so many people haven't heard authentic Roman Catholicism. Its important the poulation knows it may be close to the last days.

  8. Many Catholics, including priests, have no idea of what to do with suffering. They have lost sight of the key to the mystery of suffering--offer it to Christ, on the Cross. Neo-Cats priests, it seems to me, have this down very well.

What difference does living near the end of times make? Hmm. If you have to ask, perhaps there's little point in me answering!
