Evil American Cardinal Reaches 75 Today

Edit: after a career of being a barnacle on the Church's hull, Cardinal Donald Wuerl is unlikely to be sent to rest, and will likely continue his highly successful career as a lupine predator in the fields of the Lord.

Any bets?

  1. He always reminds me of the archbishop in Godfather III.

    1. Perhaps you should get to confession quickly for that outburst.

    2. Isn't it a sin to play the fool or make excuses for evil men?

  5. A bit unnecessarily cruel to call him evil. He did some good work trying to clean up the mess in Seattle yrs back and he has stood firm in the recent past against the gay marriage movement. Not vocal enough, but which of them are? Granted there is his recent pro sacrilege comments and interviews....

    1. The man has been pretending his whole professional life.

    2. He did nothing of what you say anonymous. He left wreck and ruin behind him at every step. Take a look at Pittsburgh's trajectory. And his record against sodophilia is truly pathetic. He is one of the chief wolves, and I pray that our Lord cleans out His temple very soon.

Take a quick look at his recent interview on "the World Over" if you want to see a real wormtongue in action....utterly unctious.

    3. Susan. I lived in Pittsburgh for many, many years and I do not recognize your description of Cdl. Wuerl. He rid the diocese of a few priests who were involved in sexual affairs. This I know. Now if you have never lived in Pittsburgh when the cardinal was bishop, you know nothing of what he did or not.

    4. You don't need to be a resident of Pittsburg to be critical of its evil ordinary. Whirl has said and done plenty publicly over the years which brings the Church and his defenders to discredit.

  6. If ever a face reflected the bitterness, joylessness of the liberal Catholic who is forever prattling about joy, it is Wuerl's. That skeletal mask reflects the rot of his poor soul. May he repent before it is too late after the immense harm to the Church and to souls he has done. RC

  7. Where will his skull end up, one wonders?

  8. Let's not call him evil, but surely the man has tendencies that go against the teachings of what the Catholic Church has always taught. Therefore, I would say that he is misleading the flock and needs to retire and sincerely pray to be faithful to the Gospel.
