France's Jewish Education Minister: "We Must Replace the Catholic Church with a Republican Religion"

(Paris) "You will never be able to build a free nation with the Catholic Church." This wasn't uttered by Voltaire or Georges Danton, but the reigning French Education Minister from a  2008 interview, Vincent Peillon,  at the launch of his book, La Révolution française n'est pas terminée (The French Revolution is Not Yet Over), as Tempos reported.

Spiritual Revolution

According to Peillon "a revolution can take place not only in material terms. They must also take place in the mind. Now we made the revolution mainly politically, but not the moral and spiritual. We have left the morality and spirituality of the Catholic Church. We have to replace them."

Republican Religion

And how would Minister Peillon replace the Catholic Church? "There you couldn't immediately adapt Protestantism in France, as they have done in other democracies, one must invent a republican religion. This new religion is secularism, which must accompany the material revolution, which in reality is the mental revolution."

And how should this "spiritual revolution" be enforced? "The revolution implies that everything has to be forgotten, which preceded the Revolution. Therefore, the school plays a central role, because the school has to tear the child from all its pre-republican bonds in order to educate them to become a citizen. It is like a rebirth, a transubstantiation acting through school and for the school, the new church with their new priests, the new liturgy and their newly to be read tables of the law."

Secular morality

The Minister is trying to implement his anti-Church theses into action. In Article 31 of the draft law submitted by him to the "establishment of the School of the Republic" he wanted "the conditions for education to ensure gender equality" in the elementary schools. Parliament amended the passage at the last moment. Peillon's goal was according to gender ideology, to eradicate the distinction between the sexes. Peillon succeeded with his law but enforces a "secular morality" on compulsory education. As the purpose and aim of this "secular morality" is called law, "the students of all familial, ethnic, social, intellectual [...] determination to conclude, so that each of them could emancipate themselves [...] as the target of the republican school was always the creation of a free individual. "Peillon's state has superseded the rights of parents and set itself up as authoritarian teacher of the nation.

Aggressive secularism

The aggressiveness of French Secularism has now been detected even by the U.S., the President of France, Hollande, for first time in was listed in a 2013 annual report on violations of religious freedom in classifying the list of countries where religious freedom is threatened. Six pages of the report is devoted to the French first of all violations of this fundamental and human rights, as Pope Benedict XVI. called. France is also one of the 15 European countries with different laws which violate freedom of expression and freedom of conscience.

Vincent Peillon - a biography

Vincent Peillon, born in 1960, acting in his anti-Catholic delirium, as if he had just been sent from a lodge to a revolutionary tribunal during the French Revolution, is a Jew, a member of the Socialist Party and Freemason. His mother is from the Alsace rabbi family Blum, his grandfather was Leon Blum. His uncle, Etienne-Emile Baulieu (actually Etienne Blum), is one of the inventors of the abortion pill RU486.

Peillon's father Gilles (1928-2007), was a banker and a Communist. He was Managing Director among others of the Banque Commerciale pour l'Europe du Nord, which was called the "Banque des Soviets" in the vernacular, because they transacted the financial transactions between the East and West for the USSR. Vincent Peillon since 1994 has been a member of the national leadership of the Socialist Party. From 1997 to 2002 he was a member of the National Assembly of the French Parliament, 2004-2012 Member of the European Parliament and since May 2012, Education Minister for the Government of Jean-Marc Ayrault. In 2010 he published the book Une religion pour la République. Laïque Ferdinand Buisson de la foi (A Religion for the Republic., the secular faith of Ferdinand Buisson). Peillon is married to the Casablanca-born Jewish journalist Nathalie Bensahel.

  1. Everything he describes has already been underway.
La Révolution française n'est pas terminée might actually be an interesting read, though.

  3. He is Jewish and he wants the Catholic Church to die. What's new, the Jews have desired that since it was created. But he is merely another foolish Jew who want nothing out of the ordinary. Why doesn't he say that all morals must be suppressed so that we humans can be a debauched a humanly possible. Or The Reign of Terror did not finish the Job properly so we should have another Reign of Terror and start guillotining Catholic's until they are all gone. What holding you back French Education Minister Vincent Peillon. Lets show the world what French Jews are made of - HATRED its the same way Palestinians are treated in and around Israel. You slimy Zionist you.

    1. No, he is ethnically a Jew but certainly a secularist or atheist. Religious Jews generally side with Catholics on those current hot issues in France. Shame on you for your antisemitism. As a Catholic, I am embarrassed by your comments.

    2. So What! You surely know that the world Jewish population is a fraction of a fraction of a fraction
of the world population. Before and after the ethnic cleansing of WWll. Religious Jews are a miniscule number. Christian relationships
are extremely beneficial to Secular Religionist Atheist Jews. Anyone who keeps buying into this religious Jews are our friends fallacy is without knowing it an enemy of the Catholic Church. People
need to know and speak the truth no matter that doing so is unpopular. Surely you are not a
Secular Religionist who cannot believe anything that is not popular. This is how a fraction has come to
Dictate, and commit a Holocaust against the Catholic
      Church.

    6. Arnold, As a Catholic I am embarrassed by YOUR comment. Besides the other fallacies you have embraced,
religious jews are following the wrong religion. Ah but that's just an aside. Though some religious Jews
share some moral precepts of the Church means just that. Some religious Muslims also share some moral
precepts with us and with them.

    7. yes, to call someone, or say someone "is a Jew" carries specifically pejorative connotations because, remember, "jew" is a verb and can be seen to be pejorative. You may say a person is "Jewish" or of "Jewish extraction" without casting aspersions.
This dude is seriously messed-up NOT because he is Jewish, but because of the entire faithless, elitist, anti-humanism that he has bought into. He doesn't believe in God. And if France goes his way, it cannot, I REFUSE TO BELIEVE, be the will of the People of France. What about those massive demonstrations for marriage?? Like in Egypt, the demonstrations will become MORE MASSIVE until they depose these Godless perversions of humanity.

    8. What kind of verb is jew? What language would that be? If jew is a verb in English we would be using phrases such as Moshe jews everbody he deals with etc. They call themselves Jews but like other conditional things it is reserved for them alone or so they prefer. Anti-Semitic is their Watch Word. If anyone doesn't think that "Jewish" isn't as relevant in this
business as is atheist they need to think again.

  7. Interesting he uses the term "transubstantiation" for his "re-education" process. Changing the substance without changing the form. And the citizens of the Eldest Daughter of the Church will swallow his concept because they "understand" from where it came. I believe that is called irony.

  8. This man is a secular Jew and no more a true Jew than some of the Kennedys are Catholic. The recent Chief Rabbi of Paris, as an orthodox Jew, was a leader in the French pro-life movement, even honored by Pope Benedict XVI. The edifying friendship between practicing Catholics and practicing Jews in France is especially remarkable, given the sordid history of Vichy France with its atrocities against the Jews.

    1. That all sounds very touchy feely which I suppose is what ultimately matters among modern, evolved, mankind.

But the reality is that judaism is over. Anyone who is a "practicing jew" is by definition someone who denies Jesus Christ and who is therefore doomed.

  10. Excuse me, but you don't seem very well versed in the diversity deck. Anyone can claim Jewish heritage and make a claim of anti-Semitism. It doesn't matter if there's any validity to the claim, either. Your comment that non-religious Jews are not actually Jews could be received as such, by the way.

  16. Tancred, Rabbis who instruct the Vatican and priests in
Dual Covenant Theology do not inform their Catholic younger brethren of everything. You are fully aware of this. They do not tell them that in their older and superior "knowledge"
twisted into theology, that the Rock is not Peter but the Jewish Messiah whom they still await "sort of". And that the Church has nothing to do with Jesus or Peter or Catholic but rather is " an assembly" of two or more. In the Vatican ll documents language such as the assembly is in use and the Mass is referred to as a supper as Jesus shared with the apostles. Well these are just two things among numbers which are catalogued in the great conciliation.
The SSPX will not consent to this conciliation.

  19. I just watched the tail end of Fox News Sunday. I rarely watch Fox News for reasons, one being thy are worse than the
lot of them and that's pretty bad. The comments about Helen Thomas were more about the close of her career and she having asked
important people bold questions publicly about Israel and U.S. policy and making public comments, that Israel needs to get out of Palestine and Israelis needs to go back to wherever they came from. News people of course had been "shocked" and she had "crossed the line". So this is the world we live in and the Vatican lives in it too. And the Church and Christianity is responsible for the "Holocaust"

  20. Hearst News fired Helen Thomas after a long career. As Helen Thomas said "You don't touch the Third Rail i.e. Israel". And most people don't know and many who do know persistently Deny that Israel is responsible for a great deal of trouble. There is no choice in voting. No one gets into the Political Big Game unless they do the Jews' bidding. That is by no audible opposition.
Helen Thomas sometimes exposed politicians and journalists to be the stooges for their Employers that they are. Really they exposed themselves by their comparison and foolish response.

  30. What was once the "Elder Daughter of the Church" has now become a bastard step-child. Unfortunately, few "Catholics", either inside or outside of France, seem to care one wit about it. "We have no king but Caeser" is the battle cry of the secularists and freemasons, who rule France and essentially every other Western nation. Perhaps "Holy Russia" will assume the mantle of providing a bulwark of Christian civilization in our time.
