Pope Leo Condemns Urban II

Edit: you’d think Leo would have something more nuanced to say about the situation, especially since he’s supposed to be so educated. In his current bromides, he attacks his predecessors of unhappy memory, namely Urban II and Julius II, among many others. I’m sure he’s have wagged his finger at Pius IX defending Rome against the Freemasons. Leo likes to attack Catholic teaching and cozy up to rainbow celebrity figures like James Martin, but he never condemned Iran for massacring its own civilians and exporting terror abroad. One wonders why he is striving so mightily to justify the murderous government of Algeria and Islam (pbui)…

Obviously, Christopher “fail” Hale loves Francis II and is complaining bitterly. How dare he criticize our Liberal Pontiff and the holy globohomisms!

Can we get our own Pope in there? This one is a far cry from Leo XIII who justly criticizing the military buildup leading up to the fratricidal Great War.

[Chrissy Hale] Vance walked onto a Turning Point USA stage in Phoenix this evening, defended the Trump administration’s bombing campaign as a Christian act, and got heckled by his own crowd.

“How can you say that God was never on the side of those who wield the sword,” the vice president asked, mid-defense of American military strikes — and a young man in the audience shouted back the only correct answer a Christian could give: “Jesus doesn’t support genocide.”
