Dutch Girl Succumbs to Grief and Kills Herself — Raped by Invaders?

Victim’s Parents

Edit: you’ve probabably already heard about the death of Noa Pothoven. The tragic case has exploded all over the Internet, but there’s damage control. Certainly, it’s bad enough that a perfectly intelligent, beautiful European child should kill herself by starvation but why isn’t there more outrage about the rapes and sexual assaults that had a hand in leading her to commit this terrible sin? All of the news reports avoid mentioning the identity of the men who raped her, but they do mention that the rapes happened in Elderveld.

The graph shows that more than  half of migration to the neighborhood is non-Western

Elderveld, a neighborhood in the town of Arnhem, Holland, suffers from substantial numbers of invading non-European foreigners from Islamic areas. As a result, it’s not surprising that sexual assaults there are already substantially above the national average at 2 per 1,000, which comes to 200 per 100,000. This is already substantially above the national average in Holland. [1]

The bottom figure is for sexual assaults per 1,000

It’s a lot easier to bear a wrong when you have an enemy you intend to defeat. Possible enemies include but are not restricted to Islam, Church leaders, media personalities, Greens, the Dutch Government...

Bishop Mixa Silenced for Speaking Out on Islam at AfD Event

The former Augsburg bishop Mixa wanted to speak at an AfD event on the topic of Islamization. After sharp criticism, he has cancelled his appearance.

[Augsburger Zeitung] The retired former Bishop of Augsburg, Walter Mixa had his planned lecture on "Islamization? Christianity” canceled at an AfD event in the Augsburg Arsenal. His reasoning: He had not known that the Augsburg AfD city council member and Member of Parliament Markus Bayerbach, who had invited him a good month ago, "is an AfD man.”

Mixa was interviewed on Monday by Catholic News Agency. Mixa added that he had received other invitations from the AfD, including from Hamburg. He will not appear for this either. His refusal was made independently of a corresponding request from the diocese of Augsburg.

AfD politician Bayerbach contradicts the former Augsburg Bishop Mixa

AfD politician Bayerbach did not want to leave that event on Monday afternoon without comment. Mixa got to know him in spring at an event as an AfD member of parliament, and there had been correspondence with Mixa about the event "on paper with AfD logo,” according to Bayerbach. Mixa phoned his office on Monday and canceled the appointment on May 24th. Bayerbach had announced that there would be  an event on this day - "on the topic of religion and freedom of expression".

Mixas’ planned appearance at an AfD event in the Augsburg Arsenal had caused indignation - even within the Catholic Church. "The news about the appearance of the emeritus Bishop Dr. Walter Mixa at an upcoming (election) event of the AfD in Augsburg was taken note of by the diocesan leadership with amazement,” said the diocese of Augsburg on Monday morning. It further stated that this appearance was, “neither coordinated with Bishop Dr. Konrad Zdarsa nor with his Vicar General Harald Heinrich.”

Such an appearance would be "expressly rejected and not approved by the two," it said: "The bishop will ask the emeritus bishop in writing, not to appear at this event in the territory of the diocese of Augsburg. According to our editorial staff, he could rely on a statement from the Apostolic See regulating relations between a diocesan bishop and a bishop emeritus."Apparently, the emeritus bishop is unaware," the statement went on to say, "that his behavior causes great dismay to many people, especially to many believers, and thus causes serious damage to the Diocese of Augsburg and the Church as a whole.”

Former Bishop Mixa wanted to speak at AfD event in Augsburg

In addition, AfD politician Bayerbach said in an interview with our editorial on Monday afternoon: "I find it extremely scary how the Church makes policy here. As a committed Catholic, I find it difficult to be satisfied with the administrative staff of the Church. "He accused the Augsburg diocese of Berne that it was enthusiastic for the Greens. Bayerbach demanded: "I now expect a conversation offer from Bishop Konrad Zdarsa and his Vicar General Harald Heinrich.” They have closed themselves off and don’t take their task of pastoral care seriously, if it does not come to a clarifying conversation, said Bayerbach.

The former Augsburg Bishop Walter Mixa wanted to attend the event on 24 May - just two days before the European elections - to speak on the subject of "Islamization? Christianity.” He would have supported - whether wanted or not - the Alternative for Germany in the election campaign.

The event was advertised on the website of the AfD district association Augsburg-Land on Monday afternoon as one of the "highlights in May". In social networks it was heavily criticized at the weekend. Cemal Bozoglu, Augsburg member of the Greens, spoke of a "scandal.” He commented that the former bishop Walter Mixa became "part of the AfD propaganda" was regrettable. Two days before the elections to the European Parliament, the City of Religious Peace Augsburg will be the scene of an event that wants to split society and foster fears. The Munich Greens leader Gudrun Lux, member of the Central Committee of German Catholics, wrote on Facebook briefly and all the more concisely: "He should be ashamed."

The Augsburg AfD City Council and Member of Parliament Markus Bayerbach could not understand the excitement. At the request of our editors, he emphasized on Monday morning that Mixa’s appearance  "is not a party event of the KV Augsburg city, but a lecture evening by the MdL Markus Bayerbach (in organizational cooperation with the State of Augsburg)".

AfD MP Bayerbach resisted criticism

Bozoglus criticism pointed sharply back at Bayerbach: "If a Catholic member of parliament in Catholic Bavaria invites a Catholic dignitary for a lecture, this should be a matter of course. The fact that he has to be tackled by a Green politician with a migration background and stir up fears and divide the society is nothing but blunt campaigning propaganda against the AfD. "And further:" As a Christian, I invite my church representatives, when and wherever I want, and do not let that call me into question. It is precisely when we are denied the right to question the role of Islam in our society, as we here are no longer allowed to hear our bishops, that the question of a possible misguided development is obvious and relevant.”

Bozoglu, according to Bayerbach, was in his view also completely unsuitable to make such statements, and here he organizes populist sentiment against the AfD only shortly before the election. He himself was "personally interested in the topic from the point of view of a bishop" - that's why he invited Mixa for a lecture. "Anyone who knows me knows that provoking is not my political stylistic device, but Im also not going to remain silent about problems," Bayerbach explained.

Already in January, Walter Mixa had talked about the same topic at an AfD event in Stuttgart. At the time, he said, among other things, according to a newspaper report, that Islam is called "submission." Islam has the perspective that one can kill those who "do not submit." In addition, Mixa spoke of the will "for the Muslimization of Europe".

Not only does that make him interesting as a speaker for the AfD, but his positions on family politics or on abortion do not only correspond to those of right-wing and arch-conservative Church circles, but also those of the AfD. Although it was stated by the National Association of the Bavarian AfD in its election program for the state election in 2018  that it was a “lobby group” for the Catholic and Protestant church. Nevertheless, there are similarities, even great ones, between traditionalists within the Catholic Church and the AfD. "Abortion is therefore fundamentally wrong"; "Intentional, ideologically motivated disorientation is intended to break up and neutralize the values and reference systems that have been handed down in families, and to replace them with pseudo-family models"; "Instead of the ever further penetration of the society with the gender ideology the proven traditional family picture is to be strengthened" - such were core statements from the AfD election program.

Mixa, in turn, is unforgotten and controversial for his statements during his time as diocesan bishop. For example, when he drew parallels between the Holocaust, the six million killed Jews, and the number of abortions. In April 2010, he had to offer the pope his resignation because of allegations that he beat students as well as allegations of misappropriation. Since then things have - at least in phases - calmed down around him. Walter Mixa lives as a chaplain in the "Diocesan house, Barbara,”  an Art Nouveau villa in Gunzenheim in the Danube-Ries district, which belongs to the diocese of Eichstätt. He says Mass and may - with "consent and thus on behalf of Bishop Gregory Maria Hanke" - in July 2019 also offer the sacrament of confirmation for the parish association, as it was requested by our editors in January.

What Saint Sebastian and Saint Anthony of Padua Looked Like Before the Bombing

Edit: they have the Gather Hymnal but with traditional local instruments. Despite this, there is a great deal of piety, kneeling for Communion and a lot of religious. Negombo itself is 65% Catholic and known as the “Little Rome”. At the Shrine of Saint Anthony, Masses are filled to the point where people are sitting in the aisles and the narthex at the back of the Church. More photos of the aftermath. Cardinal Ranjith responded by cancelling Easter Mass.

Meanwhile, Cardinal Sarah isn’t shy about identifying those responsible.

Administrative Judge: Asylum Seekers Often Seek Conversion for Appearance’s Sake

Currently, the Düsseldorf administrative court has 8,660 asylum cases pending. The courts would accuse churches of issuing inflation certificates to refugees

Düsseldorf (kath.net) Many asylum seekers from Islamic countries only change from Islam to Christianity for "asylum tactics reasons". This is according to the German administrative judge Andreas Mueller according to a report of the "world", as the Lutheran news agency "idea" reports. The conversion is often not carried out, out of inner conviction. "In nine out of ten cases", the courts are being lied to  that would have to decide on the seriousness of the change of religion, so Müller. Currently, the Düsseldorf administrative court has 8,660 asylum cases pending, writes the newspaper. Almost one in ten plaintiffs comes from Iran. Of these, around 70 percent refer to a conversion (change of religion) from Islam to Christianity. The success rate is currently 15 to 20 percent. Therefore, the court often refuses the requested legal aid in advance for lack of success. The courts would accuse the churches of issuing inflated certificates to refugees. On the other hand this explains, among other things, according to the refugee commissioner of the Lippische regional church, Superintendent Dieter Bökemeier (Detmold),  for Die Welt on Sunday, that the evaluation of the courts need not be a “faith-TÜV." [Lutheran Church Catechism]  The charge that the church baptism is too fast and reckless, is  unjustified. He had himself baptized numerous refugees. Each baptized person had previously gone through a three-month course of faith. He experiences "these people as serious and very religious".

Diocese of Limburg Recommends Visiting a Mosque for Lent

The representative of the diocese wants to push Catholics from the worship of God of to that of the God in the black stone.

[Kreuz.net]
Limburg Catholics are supposed to make a pilgrimage to the mosques because Muslims were murdered at the other end of the world. The German guilt cult knows no bounds [excerpt: catholic.de, page of the Catholic Church in Germany]

"Once upon a time, Mohammedans were
 the victims ..."

This statement is true only insofar as it concerns Europe. However, in the case of the terrorist attacks in Europe since the wave of immigration, the perpetrators were Mohammedans.

In the countries of allegedly peace-loving Islam, of course, the waves of assassination go on without abating: Shiites against Sunnis and vice versa.

"… at the other end of the world"

Because there was an attack on a mosque by a non-Mohammedan at the other end of the world, Frank van der Velden, an Islamic representative for the Limburg diocese, calls for a visit to a Friday prayer in a mosque by Catholics.

As if a European Catholic had murdered European Mohammedans during Friday prayers bowing to their god of the Black Stone.

Or, more clearly, neither the Mohammedans who had moved to Europe nor the Christian population of Europe were affected - neither as victims nor as perpetrators.

Limburger Schnapsidee

The glorious idea comes from Frank van der Velden, the Episcopal Representative for Islamic Issues of the Diocese of Limburg.

Van der Velden, a middle-aged theological graduate, studied Arabic in Syria and lived in Egypt for about 17 years. Therefore, his inclination to Islam should come as well.

Limburg, as a sign of Islamization, has had a burial ground for Mohammedans for 14 years. Because mandatory coffin law prevails (rejected by Muselmen) and the graves do not exist for ever, the number of buried Mecca pilgrims can be counted on two hands.

Personal contact with obstacles

Ünal Kaymakci, a Mohammedan lawyer and board member of the Islamic Religious Community of Hesse, announced that they would offer the unfaithful visitors of Friday prayers a place in the mosque to attend prayers as onlookers - but men and women would have to sit apart, as in Medieval Europe or as in synagogues these days.

Bad luck for cosmopolitan emancers in search of multicultural contacts. Because with the Mohammedans, there is still discipline and order, when one lowers the head on the ground during prayer (and forcibly raises the backside in the air).

"Nec laudibus nec timore!"

More Violence in Hospitals Since the Migrant Invasion in Vienna

Staff representatives in the well-known Viennese Wilhelminenspital have raised the alarm: drawn  knives, threats, insults and brawls have increased since the migrant movement in 2015.

Vienna (kath.net) "The violence in the hospitals in Vienna has increased since the migration movement in 2015. No one dared say it so far."   Heinrich Schneider, the staff representative in the well-known Viennese Wilhelminenspital, explains this for Krone. Schneider now demands that only one accompanying person be allowed each patient. Schneider explained that in the ambulances, when Austrian people have come for medical reasons, there are always riots. Then there would be drawn knives, threats, insults and brawls.

"We need signs in German, English and Arabic that only one additional person per patient is allowed." he explains. Also more security employees have become necessary, according to Schneider. He also wishes that refugees be educated about how the home health system works. The sentence "I do not want to be treated by a woman" is common. "Doctors are not accepted, arrangements questioned or not followed."

Belgium’s ISLAM Party Set to Make Significant Gains in Elections

Redouane Ahrouch, President of the ISLAM Party

(Brussels) "Whichever way you look at it: where Islam exists, it will decide," said Corrispondenza Romana in connection with an incident in a program on the French-speaking Belgian television station RTL. Another indication of the ongoing Islamization.

In the direct transmission of the program C'est pas tous les jours dimanche, the President of the Islamic party ISLAM was a guest. Redouane Ahrouch refused, in amazement, to moderator Emmanuelle Praet, who interviewed him, to shake hands, or even look at her. The repellent attitude was justified by the Islamic party leader with the female gender of the journalist.

Green Belgium, green, the color of Islam.

"I can not violate the values and commandments of my faith," said Ahrouch, after he was made aware that his behavior showed a lack of respect for the presenter and in general for women.

When the spotlights and the cameras were switched off after the show, the visibly outraged journalist said she had never felt so "humiliated and offended" in her life. Redouane Ahrouch did not respond to the indignation of Emmanuelle Praet.

Currently, his party has municipal representatives in two cities in the Brussels region, specifically in Anderlecht (120,000 inhabitants) and Molenbeek (100,000 inhabitants). Both places are strongly Islamised. In Molenbeek in 2015, 41.2 percent of the inhabitants were Muslims (see 2015 Islamic Map of Belgium . Entire neighborhoods are considered "Islamic controlled". In the entry "Molenbeek" of the French edition of Wikipedia, it reads that contemporary personalities are exclusively Muslims. Anderlecht, a Flemish place, with claims to historic figures like Pope Hadrian VI. and Erasmus of Rotterdam,  had a Muslim share of 30.2 percent. In Brussels, it was already 31 percent three years ago. The trend is rising rapidly everywhere.

In Brussels and the surrounding communities and other Islamic strongholds, including Farciennes with 29 percent Muslims, Ahrouch's party ISLAM will participate in the local elections this fall. Overall, the Islamic party will run in 30 communities in Belgium with the highest proportion of Muslims. Ahrouch considers their chances are good.

Germans Have Little Faith in the Catholic Church -- Pope's Popularity Declines

Edit: Imagine my shock. You would think that Marx's big push to legitimize mortal sin would make him and his confreres MORE, not less popular.

Germans consider television more trustworthy than the Catholic Church. In a survey, it is only in the rear midfield among 26 institutions. Trust in the pope also decreases.

Statistics | Bonn - 04.01.2018 According to a survey, Germans do not trust the Catholic Church with great confidence. Among 26 "non-political institutions," the Catholic Church in a study by the opinion research institute forsa for the television station RTL and ntv is only ranked 18th At 27 percent, however, it improved compared to the previous year by one percentage point. Here, the perception in West and East Germany deviates strongly from each other. For example, only 13 percent of East Germans give their trust to the Catholic Church; by contrast, 30 percent among the West Germans.

The Protestant church increased by two percentage points to 48 percent, ranking it in 13th place. In West Germany, 50 percent of the respondents trust them, in eastern Germany 34 percent.

Confidence in the pope, on the other hand, declined significantly last year. He is trusted by 54 percent of the respondents, which represents a decrease of 6 percentage points compared to 2016 and means 9th place in the current ranking. Here too, West and East Germany deviate strongly from each other. The pope enjoys, according to the data, 40 percent of the East Germans' trust, but 57 percent of West Germans.

Islam lost the most confidence

The strongest loss of confidence was recorded by Islam. It fell in the "trust ranking" from 25 percent in the previous year to 9 percent. That means rank 24. Behind it lie only managers with 6 per cent and advertising agencies with 5 per cent. Forsa boss Manfred Güllne believes Islamist attacks are responsible this low value for Islam.

37 percent of the respondents trusted the Central Council of Jews, three percentage points less than in 2016. The "trust ranking" is headed by the police, universities, doctors and their own employers. The media in the form of radio, press and television had each suffered 4 percentage point losses. According to the poll, 56 percent of Germans trust in the radio (8th place), the press comes to 40 percent (15th place), the television 28 percent (17th place).

The survey took place between December 15 and 20, with 2,307 people polled. (Well / KNA)

Christmas Tree Removed in Tyrol Because it Might Offend Muslims

Edit: shouldn't we be removing Muslims, instead? Remember that German theologian who got outed by kreuz.net which resulted in him being fired from his Catholic teaching jobs, and then putting out a bounty on kreuz.net's operators along with meth fiend and pedophilia apologist, Volker Beck? He's been working his way back to prominence and respectability in German conservative ecclesiastical circles. Here's an entry from his blog, Philosophia Perennis. Also, despite being, "one of theirs", Berger has been banned from Facebook for questioning the Welcoming Culture which is currently denaturing Germany.
Bolzen or Bolsano is a city in South Tyrol and is deeply Catholic, but the gears of political correctness are moving.

(David Berger) According to reports by Italian media, a traditional Christmas tree has been removed from the public part of the Town Hall of the North Italian city of Bolzano prior to a visit by a Muslim delegation to the city. The reason: "The Christmas tree could hurt the feelings of Muslims or insult them."

The incident was made known by the president of the local sports club: He had been allowed to decorate the tree this year and in addition to sporting symbols also used Christian Christmas symbols - in the South Tyrol this is particularly associated with Catholicism as a matter of course.

Just a few days after the Christmas tree was set up, the president of the Sports Veterans' association received a call from the town hall office.

He was instructed to remove the Christmas tree and its decorations because the town hall would soon be visited by a Muslim delegation and "violate their religious feelings or offend them".

Allesandro Urzi, conservative politician in South Tyrol speaks in the face of the incident of a "Barbarization of the general culture" in Italy:

"Respect for any
religious commitment must not be confused with the removal of the traditional symbols on which our society rests. Both believers and unbelievers find in these traditional symbols important elements that make up our identity. "

Study Warns Against Growing Influence of Islamic Brotherhood in Austria

Austrian Ministry of the Interior: The aim is "the gradual Islamization of society"

Vienna (kath.net) In Austria, there are "considerable connections" to the Muslim Brotherhood. This is according to "Kurier," citing a study by the George Washington University, which even expressly warns against activities of the Muslim Islamic Muslim Federation in Austria. The Muslim Brotherhood has "considerable connections and influence" and the close association of persons and organizations would occupy key positions for the life of Muslim immigrants in Austria. As a source for the report "The Muslim Brotherhood in Austria," which was created with the help of the University of Vienna, the Federal Office for Constitutional Protection and Counter-Terrorism (BVT) and the Austrian Integration Fund (ÖIF), existing publications, newspaper articles, social media articles and court records were used.

The Muslim Brotherhood was founded in Egypt in 1928 and has spread since the late 1950s and early 1960s in many Western countries. The goal is "the gradual Islamization of society", stated the Austrian Ministry of the Interior. "The Muslim Brotherhood is aimed at a division of society and a strengthening of the influence of political Islam," says the study. A Criticism is that a critical confrontation with Islam would be prevented by "islamophobia." "This goes all the way to the justification of violence - an attitude that is a stimulating environment for radicalization," says Vidino.

Islamists Call for Attacks on Trains

Current "Inspire"- Magazine Photos: JF Screenshots
BERLIN. [Junge Freiheit] The Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) has warned against attacks by Islamists on trains. Attack plans on trains are to play an increasingly important role, said a BKA spokesman of the Funke media group.
An Islamist magazine has called for attacks on trains by sabotaging railroad rails. "Even if there is no specific Germany coverage in the magazine, attacks of this kind are also conceivable in the Federal Republic of Germany
Excerpt from "Inspire" magazine Photo: Screenshot JF
In the current issue of "Inspire", an English-language magazine for which the terrorist organization "Al-Qaeda on the Arabian Peninsula" is responsible,  they have published detailed instructions for the construction of a "derailment too." This is an "efficient weapon". It is "easy to produce," the executing terrorist does not die of martyrdom and traces could be "simply erased after the operation."
Three types of traffic on the railway
There are three ways to use trains as effective targets. "First, attack the wagon directly, from the inside or from the outside. Second, damage the rails at the destination to derail the train. Thirdly: attack the stations because there are always groups of people there and it can disable the traffic system."
The authors advocated a derailment as "a major influence on the economy." In addition, "the enemy is confused and disoriented by this new type of attack." The security authorities would also be "concerned about how to find a solution to this problem."
The terrorists, among other things, advertise the largest train accidents in the United States with hundreds of deaths. On a map, all the major railway lines of the country are sorted by company.(Ls)

Hamburg Attacker: "I do not want to do anything to you, I want to attack Christians."

According to a Focus-Online report, what the Muslim attacker Ahmed A. said after the knife assassination attempt in Hamburg

Hamburg (kath.net)  "I do not want to do anything to you, I want to attack Christians." According to a Focus-Online report, this is what the Muslim terrorist Ahmed A., told another Muslim after the knife attack attempt in Hamburg, who had apparently prevented the terrorist from further attacks. Also involved was Aimen Zahri. The 37-year-old told Focus that he was the one who threw the 26-year-old assassin on the ground and held him after he stabbed one man and injured five others. "I did not hesitate for a moment when I realized what had just happened." They were in total eight, and with whicker chairs and an iron bar, they had driven the attacker into a corner and finally overwhelmed him.

Dutch Sociologist Sees Diversity Has Failed

To solve the problem of Islamism, Muslims have to realize that "the real enemies that threaten Islam are not in Jerusalem or Washington but in their countries of origin and in the midst of their own communities"

Frankfurt am Main (kath.net) Multiculturalism has failed. This is the opinion expressed by the Dutch Sociologist and researcher Prof. Ruud Koopmans in a contribution by FAS, as idea reports. He himself had long believed that good integration would not place demands on immigrants. He had been convinced that the reason for integration problems, such as unemployment among immigrants or worse education in their children, was a wrong policy because they did not grant people enough rights and did not sufficiently recognize their culture. In the Netherlands, it was a complete failure when the migrants' culture was expanded. For example, Islamic burials were allowed and many state-funded Islamic and Hindu schools were introduced. Public media must fill at least 20 percent of their broadcasting time with programs for minorities. Despite all these measures, immigrants are four times as unemployed compared to people without a migrant background.

The sociologist sees Islamic terrorism in Europe critically. Thus the interpretation prevailed that it had nothing to do with religion, nor with migrant countries of origin, and that society was to blame. He wonders why there is so much violence in the Islamic countries themselves, where there have been no Western military interventions. The problem of Islamic extremism can not be solved until the majority of the Muslims realize "the real enemies that threaten Islam are not in Jerusalem or Washington or among the European right-wing populists, but in their countries of origin and in the middle Their own communities ".

Bishop of Aleppo Performed Marian Consecration on Saturday

Marian consecration in North Syria coincides with the papal trip on the 12th and 13th of May in Fatima - Bishop: In the Marian Month of May, "all the churches are full of the faithful who pray the Rosary, kneel before the exposed Eucharist and recite litanies"

Rome (kath.net/KAP) The Christian community in Aleppo is preparing to celebrate the Fatima Jubilee and dedicate Syria's second-largest city to the Mother of God of the Fatima Apparition of Portugal. This was reported by the Chaldean bishop of Aleppo, Antoine Audo, on Wednesday, according to the Roman mission news agency "AsiaNews". According to this, the consecration should bear testimony of a faith which "remained strong" in the time of the affliction on Saturday, May 13th. In the past few years the feeling of a "deep fellowship" reaching beyond confessional boundaries has developed, the bishop said.

The Marian Consecration in North Syria coincides with the Apostolic Journey of Pope Francis on the 12th and 13th of May. In Fatima, 100 years ago Mary appeared to the shepherd children, Francisco Marto, Jacinta Marto, and Lucia dos Santos; Francisco, the sibling of Marto, already beatified in 2000, will be sanctified in Fatima on Saturday.

"It must be said that the whole month of May is important to the Christian communities of Aleppo," said Bishop Audo, "all the churches are full of the faithful who pray the Rosary, kneel before the suspended Eucharist and recite litanies Very important time, it is a tradition that is deeply rooted and has lasted all the time. "

The three days of the festivities dedicated to the Mother of God of Fatima in Aleppo, organized on the initiative of the Latin parish of St. Francis, began on Thursday, 11 May, with a prayer at 5 pm. The highlight of the celebrations was Saturday, May 13th, with the Pope's Mass in Fatima, a solemn Eucharistic celebration in the St. Francis Cathedral, in which all the bishops and priests who are present in Aleppo and the surrounding area are participating. The faithful of all confessions in the largest north-Syrian city are invited to the Mass.

"The long-standing epicenter of the Syrian conflict is dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima - after a procession with the statue by the streets," said Audo. This highly symbolic gesture is linked with the hope "that it can help to restore peace not only in Syria but throughout the Middle East after decades of conflict."

"The consecration of Aleppo to Mary and the issue of peace are a source of hope and a sign of our presence as a Church," said the Chaldean bishop: "We also want to use the event to address the themes of dialogue, unity and invitation to the Church. And not only among the various Christian denominations, but also with the inclusion of the Muslims by taking advantage of the huge echo produced by the Pope's visit to Egypt."

Famous Jesuit Seeks Hungarian Citizenship Because of Orban's Immigration Policy

Ex-Caritas chief for Egypt and former "Caritas Internationalis" Council for North Africa and the Middle East: "The West and the Pope do not know the true nature of Islam"

Budapest-Wien (kath.net/KAP) The well-known Jesuit Henri Boulad has been one of those voices for years, warning against a spreading Islam. A few weeks ago, the long-standing Egyptian Jesuit Provincial and director of the Jesuit Cultural Center in Alexandria has now accepted Hungarian citizenship. In order to support the restrictive migration policy of the Hungarian head of government, Viktor Orban, and to exert a corresponding influence on the European immigration policy. This is what the 85-year-old Jesuit from Alexandria declared in an interview for the Hungarian weekly newspaper "Heti Valasz", the text of which was published by the Austrian magazine "Kirche In" in his current May issue in German.

During an Egyptian visit to the Hungarian Deputy Prime Minister, Zsolt Semjen, Boulad said that he wanted to be granted citizenship. The request was made by decree. In the middle of March the Jesuit spoke the oath at a ceremony in the Budapest Parliament. With the assumption of Hungarian citizenship, he wanted to "signal that the country led by Viktor Orban has made the right decision on the issue of the migration crisis that threatens the existence of Europe," said Boulad. "I would like to (...) fight for the future and for the Christian values on the side of the Hungarians and Viktor Orbans," explained the Jesuit.

In principle, support for refugees and poor is "right and good," said Boulad, " The Church had adapted itself to the views of the French Islamologist Louis Massignon (1883-1962), for whom mystical Sufism had meant the essence of Islam. Islam, however, historically chose not the "Meccan," but the "Median," path that still determines it: "The surprises of the Koran, which appeal to unbelievers with violence and jihad, are from the Medina period [The prophet Mohammed, note], the tolerant, msystic surprises of the Mecca period."  "Rome," said Boulad, "does not understand this, and the Christians of the East, who know Islam from the inside, are not asked, they are put to the side." According to the Jesuit, the Catholic Church is based on the expertise of "Experts in Paris, Berlin, or America who are regarded as great Islamic scholars, whose views are purely academic," and thus "fell into the trap of the Christian-Islamic dialogue, which in reality resembles a dialogue of pigeons." Boulad sees this dialogue, even after 50 years, "is still at its starting point."  Big announcements about reforms in Islam have hardly any consequences.

The Jesuit also complained that there is little dialogue with him either, and French and Canadian bishops have banned him from entering in their countries. "Masses of moderate and intelligent Muslims and Muslima think like me. They are trying to destroy Islam to save Muslims and Muslims," Boulad said in the interview. The Liberals of Islam are "faithful to the beauties of their religion. In order to preserve and defend them, they want to free themselves from the imposed dictatorship."

Pope Francis Throws Ex-Superior General of the Mercedarians out of the Priesthood and the Order

Announcement of the Mercedarian Province of Chile:
Pope Francis Acknowledges Dismissal of the Former
Superior General from the Priesthood and Order
(Rome / Santiago de Chile) On April 20, the Chilean Mercedarian Province published the scarcely noticed news that the most severe Church punishments have been imposed by Pope Francis upon the former Superior General of the Order, Mariano Labarca Araja. The Vatican has not given any opinion on this.

The message of the Order, the silence of the Vatican

The Chilean Mariano Labarca was from 2004-2010 the 86th Superior General of the Order of Our Lady of Mercy for the Ransom of Prisoners (Ordo Beatae Mariae de Mercede redemptionis captivorum) founded in 1218, better known as Mercedarian Order. Since 1574, the General Magister has been elected for six years.
The Chilean Province said:
"Father Pedro MLA (ex-General Superior) was dismissed from the priesthood and the Order by decree of HH Francis, so he is no longer a priest and no longer a religious. This decision, which is irrevocable, has been taken after careful examination of the case brought to light in 2013, because of the serious damage to the priestly dignity and religious vows."

Labarca in "better" times

According to Spanish and Latin sources, the "reported case" appears to have involved sexual abuse. The case started in May 2013. The extent to which Pope Francis himself has been personally interested in the matter or has routinely signed the laicization decree is not known.
It is more astonishing that "there are cases of priests who are broadly and publicly treated and accused, and others, of whom we hear nothing, or just as good as nothing, as is the case here. The Spanish Catholic columnist, Francisco Fernandez de la Cigoña, is an attentive observer of the Church's developments in Latin America.
Mariano Labarca, for six years as a Superior General, led this Order rich in tradition, which included numerous Saints, including the founder and first General Magister Petrus Nolascus, Raimund of Peñafort, Raimund Nonnatus, Petrus Armengol and Seraprion, the first martyr of the Order. All these saints lived in the first 100 years of the Order, which at that time developed a very extraordinary charism.

The Mercedarian Order - For the Ransom of Enslaved Christians

The Holy Founder Petrus Nolascus

The Mother of God had appeared to the Occitan nobility, Petrus Nolascus, in 1218, who asked him to found an order to buy Christians, who were in Islamic captivity. Even then the south of Spain was still under Islamic rule. Until the eighteenth century, Islamic princes, army leaders and pirates sailed all over the Mediterranean and the European coasts. They attacked ships and Europe's coastal areas and, according to recent estimates, carried at least two million Christians as slaves to North Africa and the Middle East.
The Mercedarian Order collected money to buy the enslaved Christians in the south of Iberia, as well as in North Africa, which, because of the great hardship caused by the slaving of the Muslims in Iberia, also a few other Orders. When no money was available, the Mercedarians offered themselves as pledge to obtain the release of other Christians. Their actions were a "triumph of mercy" in the history of the Church.
Because of this original charism, the Order is still active in the prison system.
During the period when the Habsburgs also ruled over Spain, a Mercedarian monastery was established in Vienna, but in 1782 it fell victim to the Josephine sack of the monasteries.

Determined defense by the progressive side

Today, the Order is only a shadow of its former greatness. Today, however, little is known about the names of the great saints from the beginning of the Order. In 2015 it counted 581 members, but in large part this is over aged. The Mercedarian Order is responsible for the most important place of pilgrimage in Sardinia, the Basilica of Our Lady of Bonaria, named after the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires.
While the Labarca case is hardly to be read in the media, the former priest and former Mercedarian, the Basque Xabier Pikaza Ibarrondo, published on the progressive Spanish news site Periodista Digital an unconditional defense of the former Superior General. The contentious, progressive theologian Pikaza was not laicized punitively, but gave up his priesthood and left the Order to marry.
Pikaza criticizes the "zero tolerance" as unchristian. It contradicts the commandment of repentance and reconciliation. Labarca, who until a few years ago played a considerable role in the Church of Chile and was described as a possible bishop, had not been condemned by any secular court. His ecclesiastical condemnation had taken place in the silent chamber. The possibility of defense was doubtful, no one knew with what he was being charged. He, Pikaza, had tried to contact his old religious brother during the proceedings, which was not possible. He had only been informed by the Order that the ex-Superior General should not be in contact with the outside world on the instructions of the Vatican.

Turkey Nationalizes All Christian Churches

[Express UK] President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has taken control of six churches in the war-torn southeastern city of Diyarbakir in his latest move to squash freedom of speech and religious movement.
The state-sanctioned seizure is just the latest in a number of worrying developments to come out of increasingly hardline Turkey, which is in advanced talks with the EU over visa-free travel for its 80 million citizens.
Included in the seizures are Catholic, Protestant and Orthodox churches, one of which is over 1,700 years old.

If Macron is Elected France is Over

Edit: this from Galliawatch and Salon Beige:

Three tweets from Emmanuel Macron on immigration, subsidized housing, and naturalization:

1 - I want to create a highway of freedom and responsibility that crosses Africa into Europe.

2 - From the beginning of my five-year mandate, I want to create very social housing on a massive scale using simplified procedures.

3 - I will not promise foreigners the right to vote. The correct answer to the right to vote is access to nationality.
